Florida Purse Snatcher Kidnaps Baby And Runs Over Woman's Leg In Two Thefts (Video)

A Florida purse snatcher was caught on a gas station camera, stealing a $300 purse out of a woman's SUV as she attempted to fill her vehicle with gas. 32-year-old Janelle Della-Libera, looked over just in time to see him remove her purse from the vehicle. Della-Libera chased the thief, who fled to his car.

She hopped on the hood of his car and began hitting him with her wallet she had removed from her purse, prior to pumping gas. She hit him several times, which caused him to drive off with her on the hood. This resulted in the woman falling off the hood of the car. The thief then ran over her leg. Della-Libera was taken to hospital with a sprained ankle.

Woman leaps on the hood of purse snatcher's car

Della-Libera told the press, "He could have killed me. What if he had a gun? What if he would have been more vicious? The scenario could have played out so much worse." Indeed. What Della-Libera did was brave, but very risky. Thankfully she did not die as a result of the purse snatcher's conduct.

People must be careful not to keep their purse or wallet with their money/bank cards/credit cards in their vehicle while they pump gas or going into businesses. Thieves often walk by vehicles looking for unlocked doors to steal cars or items on display such as purses/wallets to break the window of vehicles and stealing people's belongings. Keep your purse/wallet on you. Some thieves in smash windows. For years Florida has been plagued by people engaging in what is known as "smash and grab." Some incidents left victims dead.

This same man was accused of stealing a car days prior that had a baby in the back seat. Police were able to apprehend him. They have since discovered he was a felon who was recently released from prison. Some people fail to learn from prison, that it is a correctional facility meant to rehabilitate bad behavior. I do believe people deserve a second chance. However, what you do with that second chance is up to you.

You can take your freedom and turn your life around or go back to criminal behavior and end up in prison again. The choice is yours. Do not make the unwise decision of returning to crime. Make the most of your life in an honest manner.

Was Adrien Broner Wrong To Turn Down The Manny Pacquiao Fight Wanting More Money

Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao

Top Rank boxing promoter, Bob Arum, revealed during an interview with BoxingScene.com that boxer Adrien Broner turned down the opportunity to fight boxing legend Manny Pacquiao. Broner wanted more money than Arum was offering. Arum stated Broner "priced himself out of the fight" and "I was dealing with Al Haymon on making that fight. Al tried but Broner was asking for crazy money that nobody can afford, so he is out and Manny is looking for another opponent.

Adrien Broner

Since Mayweather has retired and Pacquiao retired and un-retired (LOL) Manny is the biggest draw in boxing. Other champions such as Tyson Fury (heavyweight), Deontay Wilder (heavyweight) and Canelo Alvarez (middleweight) are pulling in strong viewing numbers and millions of dollars per fight.

The problem is Broner wants to be the new Floyd Mayweather, but he has not fought long enough to bring in that type of money from boxing ticket sales and pay-per-view. You have to get in where you fit in. Once you reach that level, then you can demand the huge sums your pay-per-view numbers warrant (oops, I said warrant and Adrien is in jail - I'm just playing Adrien, don't get mad).

Adrien Broner: F*** Bob Arum Pay Me What I Deserve B****

July 13, 2016 - Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner has never been shy about voicing his opinion and this week on social media he’s let fly at Hall of Fame Promoter Bob Arum. In recent times there has been speculation in the boxing world that if a Manny Pacquiao return were to happen in late 2016, which his promoter Bob Arum has said it will, that a possible opponent for the Filipino boxing icon could be Broner...

Recent reports on Boxing Scene suggested that Broner had priced himself out of the fight, according to Top Rank head honcho Bob Arum. But Broner has lambasted Arum this week on his Instagram account saying that he is not paying him enough to take the fight...

Deontay Wilder Sues Alexander Povetkin Over Scrapped Fight And $5,000,000 Purse Money

Deontay Wilder v. Alexander Povetkin was schedueld to take place on May 21, 2016, but was cancelled when Povetkin failed the standard drug test

Undefeated WBC heavyweight world champion, Deontay Wilder, 30, has sued rival and challenger, Alexander Povetkin, 36, for failing a drug test, which led to the cancellation of their much anticipated fight in Russia. Povetkin's promoter Andrey Ryabinskiy has also been sued in the legal action. Povetkin tested positive for the steroid meldonium, which was added to the banned list in January 2016.

Meldonium's primary function is as a heart drug. However, it does give athletes an edge in competition, creating increased oxygen intake and recovery (but it is not without considerable risks to a person who is not a cardiac patient: "Tennis Star Maria Sharapova Given 2-Year Ban For Using Banned Steroid" and "42-Year-Old MMA Star Kimbo Slice Dies From Fatal Heart Attack In Florida").

Wilder's purse for the fight was to be $4,369,365, money Wilder lost, as he was the likely favorite to retain the WBC heavyweight belt. Wilder's record is (36-0). Povetkin's record is (31-1). Wilder has a valid case. He upheld his end of the contract. However, Povetkin's conduct via a failed drugs test constitutes breach of contract, as each fighter was legally obligated to show up for the fight drug free.

As such, Wilder is entitled to financial compensation. Wilder spent time and money training for the fight ($100,000) and in this site's estimation would have won the bout (again the purse was $4,369,365). During said time, Wilder could have taken another lucrative fight as champion and made millions of dollars. Wilder was also deprived of the fight of a lifetime, to perform in Russia before a very large audience, which would have increased his fame in Europe and Britain. Therefore, it is a litigable offense, the case has merit and there are actual damages (financial losses) one can gain relief for under court rules. The case has been filed in New York.

Previously, Povetkin's promoter Ryabinskiy, sued Don King and his fighter, Guillermo Jones, over a failed drug test and won $2,000,000. Therefore, there is precedent for Wilder's lawsuit.

Deontay Wilder, promoter file suit over canceled Alexander Povetkin match

June 13, 2016 4:54 PM - Deontay Wilder, the WBC heavyweight contender, and promoter DiBella Entertainment have jointly filed a federal lawsuit against No. 1 contender Alexander Povetkin and his promoter, Andrey Ryabinskiy, as a result of the cancelation of their planned May 21 bout in Russia.

Povetkin tested positive for the banned substance Meldonium on April 27. WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman ruled on May 15 the fight could not proceed as a result of Povetkin's failure. The suit, filed Monday in U.S. District Court in New York, seeks a minimum of $5 million in actual damages plus additional damages to be proven at trial. Ryabinskiy's company, World of Boxing, earned the right to promote the bout via a purse bid in which its bid was $7.15 million. Out of that, Wilder's purse was to be $4,369,365...

"Plaintiffs' concerns about ensuring proper testing for banned substances became amplified when, in or around late March 2016, DBE received information that made it concerned that Povetkin was undergoing some kind of doping (i.e., use of banned substances) regimen," the suit read. "In particular, DBE learned that Povetkin had traveled to Spain, which was highly suspicious considering that (i) it is common knowlege in the boxing industry that Povetkin does not like to train outside of Russia, and (ii) while Spain is not known to be a traditional place for boxers to train, it is notorious as an epicenter of doping. Based upon this information, DBE and Wilder began pressuring the WBC to immediately commence random doping testing for the Bout."

Guillermo Jones, a Don King-promoted fighter, tested positive for a banned substance and couldn't compete against a WOB-promoted fighter. Ryabinskiy sued King for failing to produce Jones and won a $2 million judgment...

Deontay Wilder States Alexander Povetkin Positive Drug Test Is Like Bringing A Knife To A Boxing Match

Deontay Wilder

WBC heavyweight champion, Deontay Wilder, has spoken out about the cancellation of his fight against challenger, Alexander Povetkin, due to his rival failing a drug test, regarding the banned performance enhancing drug, meldonium. Wilder stated, "This is already a put your life on the line type of sport," Wilder said. "This was like someone coming to a fight with a knife in their hands. I still wanted to fight. But at the end of the day I had to think about the repercussions behind it. We would be sending out a message that says it's OK to do this."

Wilder further stated, "The head is not meant to be hit in the first place but we're willing to do it to make money and provide for our family. But we never know if we're going to come out of the ring like we came into it. I'm just devastated. It hurts to put so much work into this, hours upon hours of training and sparring and then the traveling. To come up empty-handed is sad and sad for the sport. A lot of people missed out on a great fight."

Wilder’s team is mulling over their options, which may include a lawsuit against Povetkin and his promoter, Andrei Ryabinsky. Many companies have insurance. The offender pays a deductible (after paying the premium) if they are found to be in the wrong regarding an incident. However, if the insurance company determines the offender acted in a manner that was reckless, they will refuse to cover any litigation costs or settlements.

Alexander Povetkin

Technically, Povetkin breached contract. He was contractually obligated to show up to the fight and be free of steroids or any other encumbrances that would hamper the bout taking place as scheduled. Wilder upheld his portion of the contract. Therefore, it is not fair that he is penalized via losing millions of dollars, after an exhausting training camp that came out of his pocket.

Wilder should be paid at least $1,000,000 as he has lost the $4,500,000 purse and additional fees from broadcast rights and associated licensing deals. Povetkin’s team should financially compensate Wilder. As they say, "Time is money." Wilder could have fought someone else during that time period and made millions.

Wilder can quickly try to find another opponent, such as Kubrat Pulev, who is fresh off a victory against Dereck Chisora in Germany. There's also Joseph Parker and Luis Ortiz. He could also fight Bryant Jennings in America. However, the WBC is expected to name the mandatory boxer. On such short notice, it would require a good 2-months for a rival to prepare, as Wilder has a dangerous punch. However, it is better than waiting 6-months or more for another bout.

Wilder on Povetkin doping: Like coming to fight with a knife

May. 17, 2016 3:57 PM EDT - Deontay Wilder was willing to risk his heavyweight title and unbeaten mark against a hometown hero in Moscow. What he wasn't as willing to risk was having his brains scrambled by the fists of a doped-up Russian fighter. "This is already a put your life on the line type of sport," Wilder said. "This was like someone coming to a fight with a knife in their hands."

Wilder was training in England and about to take a plane to Moscow when his camp got word Sunday that Alexander Povetkin had tested positive to meldonium, the seeming drug du jour of Russian athletes. One of the better heavyweight matchups of the year was in limbo as Wilder's camp and the World Boxing Council tried to decide what to do. "I still wanted to fight," Wilder said. "But at the end of the day I had to think about the repercussions behind it. We would be sending out a message that says it's OK to do this."...

Canelo Alvarez Wins Amir Khan Bout Via Knockout Now Faces Risky GGG Slugfest

Canelo Alvarez knocks out Amir Khan for the victory

Boxer Saul "Canelo" Alvarez retained his WBC middleweight title against challenger, Amir Khan, via a sixth round knockout on May 7, 2016. Khan was sent to the canvas via a devastating right hook from Canelo. Three months ago in the March 16, 2016 Judiciary Report article "Is Amir Khan Bulking Up For The Canelo Fight The Right Approach" I expressed this would happen via stating, "What is 10 pounds going to do against a man you would think can punch through steel when he hits people in the ring, due to his knockout ratio." In the months leading up to the fight I also tweeted on Twitter that Canelo would win (see tweets below).

Khan on the canvas from the knockout

You have to give Khan credit for going six rounds with Canelo. It wasn't easy, especially considering he moved up two divisions (weight class). However, it was a dangerous fight. When Khan hit the canvas, slumped to the ground, he looked like his brain took a terrible blow. It was like Canelo "punched a hole in" Khan. It was not pleasant seeing him (or anyone) laid out on the ground like that, eyes fixed and his body struggling to breathe. I hope there is no longer term damage.

Trainer Virgil Hunter (right) consoling Khan (left) after knockout

Canelo is a fit power puncher. It is very difficult to avoid someone like that for 12 rounds, while registering punches that count as points. The minute someone of that strength catches you in the ring the right way with a hook or uppercut, it's lights out. You have to be a power puncher as well. Khan is more known for his speed. Nonetheless, according to numbers released by ESPN, Khan pocked approximately $2,000,000 for the fight. Canelo's purse is $3,500,000 with millions more made on the backend from pay-per-view sales, endorsements and related merchandising. The fight was also a plus for Khan, who raised his profile in the boxing world, while Canelo's already bright star shined even brighter.

Gennady Golovkin (GGG)

Canelo is more suited to fight boxer, Gennady Golovkin, also known as GGG (triple G). Both men are strong power punchers who can work the ring well. A potential bout would turn into a slugfest. It is the fight the fans want and are asking for on social networking. Canelo and GGG's promoters are said to be in talks about a potential match between the two.

Floyd Mayweather Wins Fight Against Andre Berto And Says It Was His Last Bout

Floyd Mayweather and Andre Berto

As should have been expected, the world's richest boxer, Floyd Mayweather, has won his fight against challenger, Andre Berto. Mayweather cruised to a clear win in a bout that went the full 12-rounds in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mayweather scored a victory of 120-108, 118-110, 117-111. The undefeated champ's record stands at 49-0.

After 19-years as a professional boxer, Mayweather has stated the Berto bout was his last fight. Mayweather is retiring from the sport that has given him so much. It's too bad, as he is still in great shape. One more win and he could have surpassed the record held by heavyweight boxer, Rocky Marciano, rather than equaling it.

Andre Berto and Floyd Mayweather

Mayweather was evasive the whole fight, exhibiting the great defense that is his trademark. Berto, who had two swollen eyes after the fight stated, "I pushed him to the limit, but he was just better." Still, don't feel sorry for Berto, who earned $4,000,000 from the fight and has bragging rights to state he fought the world champion. For $4,000,000 I would fight Mayweather (I'm kidding).

Mayweather's top rival Manny Pacquiao posted a photo of himself at home bored during the fight, humorously trolling him (LOL)

The Mayweather v. Berto fight was not as lucrative as the Mayweather v. Pacquiao bout in May that shattered all pay-per-view records and sold many tickets at unprecedented sums. However, Mayweather will earn at least $28,000,000 from the Berto fight and there are other tie-ins that are revenue streams as well.

Boxing Fans Upset Floyd Mayweather Chose Andre Berto For His Last Fight

Andre Berto and Floyd Mayweather

Boxing welterweight champion and the richest athlete in the world, Floyd Mayweather, upset fans when he chose lesser known Miami boxer, Andre Berto, for what is being promoted has his last fight (but who knows, he's still at the top of his game). Many wanted a rematch against Mayweather's top rival, Manny Pacquiao. Their first outing grossed Mayweather upwards of $250,000,000. Pacquiao earned an estimated $120,000,000 from the fight.

Andre Berto, Al Haymon and Floyd Mayweather

Fans also wanted a Mayweather bout against Amir Khan (who should fight IBF champ Kell Brook) or Gennady Golovkin also known as GGG (Golovkin's upcoming fight against Lemieux has broken the presale ticket record at Madison Square Garden, which is impressive). Khan has been chasing Mayweather for so long. It's a wonder Khan didn't flip out and put Mayweather or Berto in a headlock when the announcement was made (LOL).

Floyd Mayweather

To be fair, Haitian-American Berto has a good record (34-3) and is a welterweight champion. Berto has not lost a fight since 2011 and that bout was to formidable Victor Ortiz. The 31-year-old is happy he has been chosen for the fight, as it will introduce him to a wider audience and grant him a lucrative payday. Berto's purse for the Mayweather fight is said to be $3,000,000. Mayweather purse for the fight is estimated to be between $18,000,000 to $35,000,000.

Floyd Mayweather Reneges On Offer To Fight Manny Pacquiao In Rematch And Calls Him Names

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao

Undefeated boxer, Floyd Mayweather, angry at the renewed bad publicity surrounding him, has reneged on an offer to fight rival Manny Pacquiao in a rematch, after winning the unanimous decision over him a week ago in their widely watched bout. Mayweather had stated to ESPN's Stephen A. Smith that he is open to a rematch with Pacquiao.

The news of the rematch delighted many on social networking. However, Mayweather changed his mind after a stream of bad publicity calling the first fight fixed and his mood was worsened after negative exposure via a serious $20,00,000 defamation lawsuit by the mother of three of his children, Josie Harris. Mayweather is now calling Pacquiao a "sore loser" and a "coward."

It should be noted, Mayweather has changed his mind many times in the past about fighting Pacquiao, but did so anyway in what was a record breaking, lucrative bout. Mayweather loves money and will unlikely leave another $180,000,000 on the table in not having a rematch with his top rival Pacquiao. Mayweather has become very wealthy from hard work in the gym and boxing ring, as has Pacquiao. They earned their money fair and square. A rematch would be a wise financial decision.

Do I have any regrets about ordering the fight? No. It was an entertaining experience, under card included. However, I would like to see Mayweather set a better example outside the ring as a wealthy young black man (go to anger management, refrain from domestic violence and stop keeping a stable of girlfriends).
Though he has not finished school, he is no fool (it would be beneficial to him if he obtained his high school diploma via private tutoring). Anyone who listens to Mayweather speak should be able to discern that. However, people are watching him and he has to do better regarding his personal life.

Real Housewives Of Atlanta's Porsha Williams Slammed By Judge Over Second Arrest

Porsha Williams

"Real Housewives Of Atlanta" reality star, Porsha Williams, was slammed by an Atlanta judge, after being arrested for the second time in less than a year. Williams first arrest was for assaulting co-star, Kenya Williams, during last season's reunion taping of the "Real Housewives Of Atlanta."

Williams second arrest occurred recently when police detained her in Atlanta for speeding and driving without a valid license. The judge stated regarding Williams' recent legal troubles, "This case is going to be handled by another court since we can’t reach a resolution here."

Williams' troubles are multiplying, since divorce from former NFL football player, Kordell Stewart. Not only was she caught cheating, as private text messages revealed an affair with another man, Williams left the marriage with nothing from Stewart. More recently, Williams has unethically been engaging in an adulterous affair with a wealthy African man, who bought her Hermes bag, Rolls Royce and jewelry.

Williams flaunted the items on Instagram, which angered her married boyfriend. Shortly after, Williams stated she would be getting rid of the Rolls, which many interpreted as a sign her married boyfriend is taking the car back. Williams can do better than prostituting herself to a married man for expensive gifts. It is unethical and unfair to his wife and children.

Exclusive: Local Judge Pissed at Porsha Williams and Decides to Move Case to Higher Court

Kenisha Moore | February 19, 2015 - Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams must have rubbed someone the wrong way because yesterday an Atlanta Municipal Court judge decided that she didn’t want to hear Williams case that was a result of the star being arrested for driving without a license and excessive speeding. Hip Hop Enquirer was in the court yesterday morning when a judge ordered that Williams case be handled by a higher state court because of the underlying circumstances.

The courtroom was packed with other traffic violators but when it was time for her case to be called, the judge read her file and said “this case is going to be handled by another court since we can’t reach a resolution here” which means the star must either take a plea or be ready for battle as prosecutors love to make an example out of celebrities. At press time, there was no court date set.

Shantel Jackson Forced To Downsize After Being Dumped By Floyd Mayweather But Is Suing Him For $5,000,000 Engagement Ring And More Cash

Nelly and Shantel Jackson

The Judiciary Report first broke exclusive stories on Shantel Jackson and her relationship with boxer Floyd Mayweather [Floyd Mayweather's Ex-Fiancée Shantel Jackson Sues The Boxer For Beating Her Confirming What This Site Previously Stated She Would State and Shantel Jackson Confirms She Is Going To Do A Tell-All About Boxer Floyd Mayweather Confirming This Site's Previous Claims (Video)].

$5,000,000 ring...$2 dollar manicure

As many of you know, Jackson sued Mayweather alleging "battery" and "replevin" among other things. "Replevin" is defined as, "A lawsuit that enables a person to get back personal property taken wrongfully or unlawfully and get compensation for resulting losses." In this case, Jackson alleges replevin in aiming for a cash grab, suing Mayweather for the 17-cart, multimillion dollar engagement ring he bought her, then took back when he broke up with her for aborting his unborn twin babies and lying to him she had a miscarriage from him stressing her out.

Shantel Jackson and Floyd Mayweather before he called off their engagement

Mayweather was given a copy of an item from her medical records showing Jackson aborted his unborn twins, confirming it was not a miscarriage. Jackson became livid, called off the engagement and took back the ring, whose estimated value is $5,000,0000. When a couple's engagement is called off, it is customary for the woman to give back the ring. However, being a gold digger, Shantel did not want to do that. So, Mayweather took it back against her wishes.

Floyd Mayweather

Before Jackson had to leave, she scraped up what she could, such as the $50,000 Birkin purse Mayweather bought her, which she pawned in Beverly Hills for $30,000 (Mayweather paid to get the bag back and his new girlfriend bas been pictured with the purse). Jackson also sold a Ferrari and Bentley the boxer had bought her.

Jackson has downsized from a $50,000 Birkin purse to a $800 Reed Krakoff bag. Both brands make nice purses, but there's a sizable price difference.

With the remaining cash, Jackson bought a less expensive Ferrari and moved from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, trying to break into Hollywood as an actress (again). The only problem is, Shantel can't act and cash began running low. Jackson was seen night after night in skimpy clothes, frequenting Los Angeles night clubs, trying to find a new rich boyfriend to support her as Mayweather did before their break up.

Jackson has downsized from $2,000-$5,000 shoes (Giuseppe Zanotti, Louboutin, Jimmy Choo) to $600 D Squared shoes. Once again, all those brands make nice products, but it's less expensive than what she was used to with Mayweather, who has warned Nelly to be careful of her expensive tastes.

Then Jackson met and dug her claws into unsuspecting rapper, Nelly, for financial support and is now appearing on his reality show "Nellyville" which has become an overnight hit. However, the show is a hit because of Nelly's interaction with his kids, niece and nephew, who he has been raising. Jackson expressed on a recent episode that she is upset at being called a gold digger on blogs and social networking, which the Judiciary Report has done, but if the $5,000,000 ring shoe fits...

Drake Accused Of Threatening The Life Of Second Woman Triggering Another Police Investigation (Picture)

Drake and Shaye G

Something strange is going on with rapper Drake and it is creating a significant amount of bad publicity for the rap star. First a Texas stripper named Jhoni Blaze accused him of sending thugs in his entourage to her home and threatening her life (Rihanna Mocks Drake Over Stripper Scandal). Blaze filed a police complaint over the incident.

Jhonni Blaze

Now a second woman has come forward alleging Drake sent her threatening texts because she posted photos on Instagram of luxury purses he purchased for her. A woman named Shaye G, from Arizona, whom Drake found on Instagram and flew her out to meet him, says Drake threatened if he sees her anywhere she’s “gettin run outta there.” Shaye G also reported this incident to local police. One thing’s for sure, Drake’s nice guy image is taking a serious hit.

Floyd Mayweather’s Ex-Fiancee Shantel Jackson So Desperate For Money She Sells The Birkin Bag He Gave Her After The Boxer Repossessed Her Bentley And Millions In Jewelry

Shantel Went From "The Money Team" To The No Money Team

Floyd Mayweather and Shantel Jackson

Floyd Mayweather’s former fiancée, Shantel Jackson, who is a materialistic, money obsessed woman that was reportedly a former call girl, is hard up for cash. Jackson dated Mayweather for his money and when he dumped her over cheating on him, while demanding he stop cheating on her, she lost everything because it all belonged to the boxer, who is the world’s highest paid athlete.

Jackson bought the purse on Mayweather's account, with her name listed as Shantel Jackson Mayweather, after she hastily changed her name in Miami, so thirsty to marry the wealthy boxer for his money

According to Media Take Out, so broke is Jackson now that she pawned the $60,000 Hermes luxury purse Mayweather bought her when they were together. Jackson was only given $30,000 for the luxury leather handbag by a Beverly Hills pawn broker. That money will run out very fast with her expensive tastes and the cost of living in Los Angeles.

Jackson has been shopping at budget clothing store Forever 21 (they have cute stuff though) when she is used to wearing expensive designer clothes bought and or loaned on Mayweather’s name. Mayweather also repossessed the luxury Bentley he purchased for her to drive. Since their acrimonious split, Jackson has been using regular accommodations, instead of living and traveling first class, which she previously did with Mayweather. Wow, what a come down. However, it is deserved for using someone for their money, while pretending to love them.

Jewelry Mayweather rightly repossessed from Shantel Jackson

Women cling to athletes who are on the rise, with the hope they’ll get rich one day and they’ll get their money or latch on to the ones who’ve made it already, essentially becoming leeches. However, let that money run down or disappear and so will they. At least Mayweather got his things back. Jackson has unfollowed Mayweather on Twitter, but he is still following her. Ironically he’s not following the mother of three of his children, Josie Harris. Hope they work things out, as they have a bond - their kids.

Paris Hilton Remains In Hiding After Drug Bust

Paris Hilton's mug shot

Hollywood idler and Kabbalah member, Paris Hilton, has been keeping a very low profile, since being arrested in Las Vegas, Nevada, with her boyfriend, Cy Waits, on cocaine possession charges. As reported yesterday, Hilton denied owning the purse police discovered drugs in, but it was later revealed it is indeed her pocketbook. Either way, the Las Vegas police are not worried, stating the drugs were in her possession and that's all that in needed to build a case against her.

Cy Waits' lawyer, Richard Schonfeld, is questioning why they were stopped. However, the couple was on the most famous street in Las Vegas, in front of a frequently visited hotel, with a vapor trail of weed emanating from their vehicle. That's called drawing attention to one's self. Still, it does seem like a crackdown on celebrity drug use is afoot, as couple TI and Tiny were arrested on drug charges in Los Angeles as well, in a similar situation.

Twitter Reveals Paris Hilton Lied To Police About Purse

Paris Hilton's mug shot

However, Radar Online has unearth an old Twitter tweet of Hilton showing off her new Chanel purse, which is the very one she was carrying the night she was arrested. Someone email the tweet and pic to the DA! Uh, I mean, poor Paris got caught in a lie.

Handbag Designers Are Running From Snooki

Snooki is tan like her handbag

Handbag manufacturers are reportedly running from reality TV celebrity, Snooki, who stars on the MTV trainwreck "Jersey Shore." Apparently, purse makers have been sending the Snookster free bags from their rivals, to stop her from carrying their product, which inevitably ends up being photographed on her arm. Ouch! It appears some brands do not want the Jersey Shore stamp of approval, for fear of what it will do to their image.
