Boxer Adrien Broner Regrettably Threatened To Kill Himself Prompting Police To Locate Him

Adrien Broner

Troubled boxer, Adrien Broner, who is battling substance abuse issues, threatened to kill himself this week. Broner posted a photo of a gun and the caption, "I'm going home I love y'all" and shortly after, "3PM I'm doing it I'm sorry to my family and friends but I don't want to be here no more this s**t too much." However, his family and police intervened and then released statements stating they've located Broner and he is okay.

In the July 1, 2016 article Judge Should Order Adrien Broner To Rehab For His Own Good I wrote the boxer needs rehab. Not only is Broner struggling with alcoholism, he is suffering from the effects of knockdowns and blows to the head in the boxing ring, which can create depression (See "head injury" second of article: How To Reap The Benefits Of Boxing While Avoiding The Pitfalls). A good doctor and therapist could assist him with the depression. It does not help that he is being harassed by questionable people outside the boxing industry, who have no business bothering this man. He needs to extricate himself from those situations.

Broner has to keep things in perspective. As stated in previous articles, Broner has a beautiful family. He also has a great boxing career with many wins, several titles and millions in purse money under his belt, pardon the pun. There is so much Broner can do with his life. He cannot allow himself to wallow in depression, as it will bring him misery.

Something is troubling Broner and he needs to let that thing go, because it is not worth his life. Broner has six children who don't need to be fatherless. Broner also needs to be thankful the assault case against him was resolved and dismissed, as he could have went to prison for years. There is much to be thankful for in his life.

I've stated it before and I will state it again, Broner needd to drop the negative people from his circle. He needs positivity and hope in his midst. He needs strong minded people who are trying to elevate him, not bring him down. And once again, whatever he thinks is so terrible in his life, he needs to let it go and choose to be happy. That's a general rule for everyone. If anything is making you that miserable that you want to die, it is time to reevaluate the situation and let that problem go.

Boxer David Haye’s Wife Files For Divorce After Cheating Incidents (Rita Ora)

Natasha Haye and David Haye

Natasha Haye, 35, the wife of boxer David Haye, also 35, who is a former heavyweight champion of the world, has filed for divorce, due to the athlete cheating on her. In 2011, Haye was the subject of tabloid stories after an affair with a talent show singer. His wife forgave him and decided to stay. However, things have gotten rough in their marriage again, as he was spotted at a hotel with another woman.

In the May 6, 2016 article “Rachel Roy’s Emails Hacked” the Judiciary Report stated Rita Ora was cheating with a “British athlete” whose wife “is so angry she is on the verge of divorcing him.” I was referring to Haye. I just did not want to name him at the time, hoping his wife would not file for divorce. I also was not trying to embarrass Haye and his wife. However, the Daily Mail has let the cat out of the bag about one of Haye's recent affairs.

Rita Ora and David Haye. Why is Rita Ora posing like that with a married man.

The couple have a young child who needs his parents. I am sorry their marriage is in trouble. Maybe they can work things out. These women cannot take the place of his family nor do they care about him. His wife cares about him. She is the mother of his son and has been with him through many ups and downs. He is a good looking man, make it worse he is rich and famous, so that will attract female attention. His wife is pretty as well.

Rita Whora indeed. She's been having sex with several married men (like Jay Z) and others in relationships. Ora has had sex with dozens of men in the entertainment and sports industries. One stated of her to his friends "it's my turn to ride the bicycle" stating she is a "slut." These men use then drop her.

People on Twitter became offended at the manner in which Rita Ora was intimately hugging married rapper Jay Z (right) in the same manner she would romantically embrace her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris (left). Jay-Z has been cheating with Rihanna and Rita Ora.

Jay Z continues to sexually pass around Rita Ora and Rihanna in exchange for songs and movie roles for them at his struggling company Roc Nation, as well as using them as illegal inducement in trying to get athletes to sign with his failing sports company. The Judiciary Report was the first to state Jay Z has been pimping out Rihanna and Rita Ora. Then Adrien Broner let the cat out the bag and confirmed it (Boxer Adrien Broner Says F**k Jay Z, Rihanna And Her P***y After The Rapper Pimps Her Out Again).

Boxing legend David Haye splits from wife of eight years - months after the couple 'put family home on the market'
Published: 05:08 EST, 21 August 2016 - Boxing superstar David Haye is splitting from his wife of eight years, it has been reporter. Make-up artist Natasha Haye, 35, is said to have started divorce proceedings against her husband earlier this year. A source told Ryan Kiesel and Laura Armstrong the Sun on Sunday: 'Of course Natasha and David have children together, so they will always be connected through them. But she no longer wants to be his wife.' Split: Make-up artist Natasha Haye, 35, pictured with her now ex-husband in 2009, has divorced David Haye on the grounds of his adultery...

Haye was accused of having an affair with X Factor hopeful Amie Buck, pictured, in 2011. Haye, known as 'The Hayemaker', has previously faced allegations of infidelity. Last year a representative for the boxer denied rumours of an affair after he was photographed at a London hotel with a mystery woman. Months later Haye and Natasha reportedly put their £2million marital home on the market.

Judge Should Order Adrien Broner To Rehab For His Own Good

Adrien Broner's Instagram page requesting the public write to him in jail

Former four time world champion boxer Adrien Broner was arrested for drunk driving last year. He was temporarily detained, then bailed. This year, Broner was sentenced to 10-days in jail for the offense. Broner is now in jail again, for contempt of court, as he showed up 3-hours late to a court hearing on an assault case, as he had a terrible hangover.

Broner unquestionably has a substance abuse problem, as something so serious as court and he still could not get himself together and show up sober and on time. It speaks volumes. The judge should order Broner to rehab for his own good. It is not getting better. It is getting worse. Something is troubling Broner that he is drinking to the point of total inebriation. He has become addicted. When people reach the point they can't stop themselves through their own willpower, it is time for an intervention. The court is in a position to do that.

Broner needs medical help and treatment for addiction. It's way past the point of recreational drinking, where you have a drink with dinner or at an event. Broner is at the point that he drinks until he is impaired. And sometimes gets behind the wheel of a sports car, which could turn fatal. The cop that stopped Broner for driving while intoxicated did him a favor, because who knows, he was speeding and driving so poorly, an accident could have happened.

Broner is a boxer and alcohol consumed to excess is very damaging to athletes. And the end of the day, Broner is a human being first and foremost. He needs to take care of his life and health, so he can live a good life and enjoy his family.

Adrien Broner Jailed For 30 Days Spending His Birthday Behind Bars After Judge Calls Him A Tardy Drunkard

Adrien Broner post on Instagram website

Beleaguered boxer, Adrien Broner, showed up to a court hearing late on July 20, 2016 and was promptly jailed for being late. The former four time world champion boxer, who lost his title for failing to make weight in his last fight, in on trial on assault and robbery charges. Broner, who is struggling with substance abuse problems, was tardy and informed the judge he has been feeling sick, as someone put something in his drink the night before.

Judge Ruehlman showed Broner no sympathy on his claim of illness stating, "You don't look well. You look like you have a hangover." Broner stated to the judge, "I have been sick all morning. When I finally got well I called my lawyer." The judge responded, "It's not a good excuse. He looks like he's drunk or hungover. To coin a little boxing phrase - you're not ducking this one." Broner was hit with a contempt of court charge and sentenced to 30 days in jail.

Post on Adrien Broner's Instagram page requesting the public write to him in jail

The Judiciary Report has been stating Broner needs to go to rehab. However, until he sees the urgency of getting help for his substance abuse issues he, his health, his family and career will continue to suffer. Broner has boxing talent and could achieve a lot more in boxing, but that's not going to happen if he is constantly behind bars. Broner has received title shots and other big fights that most boxers dream of, but keeps taking it for granted. There are so many boxers who wish they had the opportunities he does, but he is throwing them away and in the prime of his career.

Broner needs to take a good look at the people in his circle. A number of them are still involved in crime and violence. They sometimes influence him to do the wrong thing. I know Broner doesn't like being corrected, but what's bad about telling him he has a lot of potential, a lovely family and a chance to do big things in his career, if he would just gets help for his addictions and stay out of trouble.

Was Adrien Broner Wrong To Turn Down The Manny Pacquiao Fight Wanting More Money

Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao

Top Rank boxing promoter, Bob Arum, revealed during an interview with BoxingScene.com that boxer Adrien Broner turned down the opportunity to fight boxing legend Manny Pacquiao. Broner wanted more money than Arum was offering. Arum stated Broner "priced himself out of the fight" and "I was dealing with Al Haymon on making that fight. Al tried but Broner was asking for crazy money that nobody can afford, so he is out and Manny is looking for another opponent.

Adrien Broner

Since Mayweather has retired and Pacquiao retired and un-retired (LOL) Manny is the biggest draw in boxing. Other champions such as Tyson Fury (heavyweight), Deontay Wilder (heavyweight) and Canelo Alvarez (middleweight) are pulling in strong viewing numbers and millions of dollars per fight.

The problem is Broner wants to be the new Floyd Mayweather, but he has not fought long enough to bring in that type of money from boxing ticket sales and pay-per-view. You have to get in where you fit in. Once you reach that level, then you can demand the huge sums your pay-per-view numbers warrant (oops, I said warrant and Adrien is in jail - I'm just playing Adrien, don't get mad).

Adrien Broner: F*** Bob Arum Pay Me What I Deserve B****

July 13, 2016 - Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner has never been shy about voicing his opinion and this week on social media he’s let fly at Hall of Fame Promoter Bob Arum. In recent times there has been speculation in the boxing world that if a Manny Pacquiao return were to happen in late 2016, which his promoter Bob Arum has said it will, that a possible opponent for the Filipino boxing icon could be Broner...

Recent reports on Boxing Scene suggested that Broner had priced himself out of the fight, according to Top Rank head honcho Bob Arum. But Broner has lambasted Arum this week on his Instagram account saying that he is not paying him enough to take the fight...

Thurman v. Porter Scores Big With Boxing Fans

Keith Thurman Jr vs. Shawn Porter

Thurman v. Porter lit up the boxing world on Saturday night in New York. Keith Thurman Jr. ("One Time") squared off against Shawn Porter ("Showtime"). Two great welterweight boxers went to war. Thurman won in a unanimous victory during the slugfest with a score of 115-113, 115-113, 115-113. Many on social networking are branding it the fight of the year. The reviews from fans are overwhelmingly positive. Ironically, though it was slugfest, the two men are friends. However, it was all business in the ring.

Thurman should fight boxer Adrien Broner, who can box, but is trouble prone outside the ring. Broner is a big puncher for his weight class and would bring a significant amount of publicity from fight fans and casual observers. Broner is currently fighting a criminal case for knocking out a man in a Ohio bowling alley parking lot, after he lost a $10,000 bet.

I need to stop making jokes about Broner, due to what I have written in past columns. He might sic his baby mama on me. You guys would just see it on the news “And on tonight's news, blogger knocked out cold in parking lot by Adrien Broner’s baby mama” (LOL).

Boxers Determining The Right Weight Class

Adrien Broner looked like he was dreaming about a cheeseburger at the weigh-in after not eating for days

Boxers choose the weight class they feel is right for them for various reason. There are 17 standard weight classes. Among them are light flyweight, flyweight, bantamweight, lightweight, light welterweight, welterweight, middleweight, cruiserweight, heavyweight, super heavyweight ect. Some feel more comfortable fighting at the weight class closest to their natural weight, while others struggle by choosing a weight class well below their natural size. Some even choose their weight class based on their favorite boxer growing up.

However, what happens when a boxer struggles to maintain that weight (especially in the lighter weight classes). What happens when it becomes an issue for a boxer to make weight/reach the catchweight for their fight. Boxers are fined for not making weight, losing tens of thousands of dollars, as being heavier than the stipulated catchweight provides an undue advantage over an opponent, which can turn dangerous.

Some boxers like their food more than others, indulging in pork chops, steaks, ribs, French fries, hot dogs, cake and ice cream (*looks at Adrien Broner*). Broner famously had a problem making weight this year for his fight against challenger, Ashley Theophane. It resulted in Broner being stripped of the belt and being fined $50,000 which he had to pay to Theophane. Broner now states he has outgrown the lightweight division and will move up to welterweight - translation: he’s not giving up the pork chops.

Broner and Theophane were not overweight prior to training camp, but they don’t seem to be fighting at their natural weight. Translation: those two looked hungry at the weigh-in like they were having fantasy type visions of cheeseburgers (LOL). They looked exhausted and below their natural weight for the fight, due to intense training and trimming down to make the catchweight. Theophane only had a few pounds to lose. Broner had roughly 25-pounds to lose after indulging in his favorite foods between fights and missed it by a small margin at the weigh-in. Hence the fine.

Some boxers really appear to be naturally thin due to their metabolism (Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, Guillermo Rigondeaux). However, others clearly make a disciplined effort to lose weight for the catchweight, as they don't maintain the stipulated weight for their weight class between fights.
If Broner feels he can comfortably fight in a new weight class, this should not pose a problem for him and may as well, as he is clearly unhappy trying to maintain his weight in the lightweight division. To go for days without eating, while running for hours days in a row, mentally and physically draining one’s self for each fight, will take its toll after a while.

Being a welterweight will not pose a risk to Broner’s health (provided he doesn‘t develop cholesterol problems from the pork chops and hot dogs). Therefore, he may as well leave the lightweight division. It can’t be worth the distress of slimming down with a hungry look in your eyes like a zombie. Looking like you’re about to raid a donut shop and jump into a pile of donuts face first.

Some boxing trainers insist, if you aren’t use to fighting in a different weight class, it can cause a problem. Therefore, boxers will have to weight the risks (*looks at Amir Khan*). This year, Amir Khan famously went up two weight classes to fight Canelo Alvarez, who is like a bull and strong as an ox. It worked for a little bit, but the moment Canelo correctly cut off the ring he knocked out Khan in a KO that is very uncomfortable to watch.

Khan was laid out on the canvas, looking like he was going. After a few minutes, medical staff were able to revive him and take the boxer to the hospital. As much as Khan had gained weight and some muscle, successfully hitting the catchweight, he was not use to fighting as a middleweight or facing one. It was an intense knockout. Thus far, the knockout of the year. Khan was not used to being hit with that type of force and could have paid for it with his health. It was too much of a jump in weight class.

Boxer Adrien Broner Causes A Stir On Social Networking In Stating He Is Voting For Donald Trump In U.S. Presidential Election Due To Promise Of Lowering Taxes (Video)

Warning: video contains profanity

Former four time boxing champion, Adrien Broner, is being heavily criticized on social networking for stating he is going to vote for hatemonger, Donald Trump, in the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Broner explained his reasoning for voting for Trump stating he will lower taxes. However, Broner has been duped. Trump has made a massive u-turn on previous statements regarding lowering taxes in America.

Apparently, Marcos Maidana hit Adrien Broner harder than we thought, as he has announced he is voting for Donald Trump, who has made comments that upset minorities

A new report on Reuters this month stated, "U.S. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said on Sunday he was open to raising taxes on the rich, backing off his prior proposal to reduce taxes on all Americans and breaking with one of his party's core policies dating back to the 1990s. 'I am willing to pay more, and you know what, the wealthy are willing to pay more,' Trump told ABC's 'This Week.'"

Donald Trump

The Judiciary Report has maintained from the time of the 2008 financial crisis, which I predicted first in published site articles, the only way out of the problem, is to raise taxes on the rich. America needs a moderate tax increase on the rich and austerity to get out of the ongoing financial crisis (Newly Released Financial Data Reveals America Has Hit An Unprecedented Economic Low Under President Obama). Former U.S. President, George W. Bush, created the problem with his poor, corrupt political policies and current president, Barack Obama, added to it via massive spending that has not worked out, morphing into fruitless debt.

Adrien Broner Talks About Unsafe Method Of Trying To Make Weight That Cost Him The WBA Boxing Belt

Adrien Broner

Ohio boxer, Adrien Broner, recently did an interview about not making weight for his April 1, 2016  fight against challenger, Ashley Theophane. It cost Broner $50,000 that went to Theophane as a bonus. Broner was stripped of his WBA junior welterweight title days prior to the fight, for weighing in at 140.4 pounds, which was .4 lbs over the limit for the weight class (the catch weight).

Broner didn't take training seriously enough and maintained a high calorie diet in the lead up to the fight. He is also an alcoholic, which causes one to retain fluid. I sounded a warning on Twitter two weeks before the fight, as I realized he was not going to make weight and he ended up not doing so. The catch weight exists to ensure a fair, even fight between boxers. However, he did put in a major effort after that point to reach the catch weight and missing it by 4 ounces really does not constitute an unfair advantage to an opponent (provided there is no massive dehydration masking the true weight, with dehydration before the fight sending the body mass up a good 10 pounds, at the true weight).

Broner's weight had significantly come down and it showed on his thinned out frame. Both boxers were basically the same size. However, the whole episode had me thinking, why wasn't he being weighed every few days. It's his career and something that needs to be taken seriously. Broner wants to be a big promoter, having started AB Promotions, to handle his business affairs. However, to have the best results in business, you have to be disciplined and professional on all levels.

Broner stated to the Fight Hype website about failing to make weight, "It's just something that a reporter like you guys will never understand, because you guys haven't pushed yourself for three months, trying to get down to the weight, then once you hit that wall you just can't go no more...It was over. I grew out of the weight class."

Broner has now decided to move up to a new weight class. It's clearly too stressful for him to be a light weight. Therefore, it is understandable he would seek to do this. However, the question is will he quickly adapt to fighting in a new, heavier weight class, after several years as a lightweight. Recently, Broner predicted his friend Amir Khan would beat Canelo Alvarez after moving up two weight classes. However, as I predicted, Canelo won the fight. There are pros and cons to moving up to a new weight division.

Broner stated in another interview that in the days leading up to the Theophane fight, he didn't eat for days, just kept sleeping and running, which is unsafe. That type of crash dieting can create heart problems. This is why some boxers discipline themselves to stay within a certain weight that corresponds to their division year round. Broner likes to party, eat pizza and fried chicken and drink large quantities of alcohol. There's nothing wrong with relaxing a bit, but gaining 20-30 pounds inbetween fights, then engaging in drastic dieting to lose the weight in a short space of time, is not good for anyone's health. Boxers should try to stay within 5-pounds of their weight class, as you can easily drop 5 pounds with a few days of roadwork (jogging).

For years Floyd Mayweather maintained his weight year round and even in retirement is still hovering at that same general weight. Boxers such as Canelo Alvarez and Deontay Wilder also routinely stay within a few pounds of their weight class inbetween fights. To be fair, when some boxers lose a fight, especially a big one, it is a crushing blow. They use food to comfort themselves and the pounds pile on. If they have no upcoming bouts for several months or more, the weight creeps up on them and by the time the next fight rolls around they've gained 20 or more pounds. As boxing is their bread and butter, pardon the pun, they have to make a conscious effort to stay within a few pounds of their weight class. You can't give up on yourself.

Adrien Broner's Floyd Mayweather And Money Team Diss Track 'Slammer' Is Making Its Way Around Social Networking And Select Radio Stations

Adrien Broner and Floyd Mayweather prior to their current dispute

Former WBA champion, Adrien Broner, is spending time promoting his song "Slammer" which slams pugilists Floyd Mayweather, Ashley Theophane and the rest of the Money Team collective. The song is making its way around social networking and select radio stations. Some people like it. Some people do not. However, it is not a hit. The content and production are to blame.

Broner began his verses too early and too late during a few segments of the song, missing the beat at times by a few noticeable seconds. There are some overlaps there as well, leaving it disjointed, unlike the song it comes from, which is the hit "Panda" by rapper Desiigner. I was also unable to discern some of what Broner was saying at select parts of the track "Slammer" (then again, I don't really know what Desiigner is saying on most of "Panda" either, all I heard was "panda, panda, panda" and "I got broads in Atlanta" which is not the best message to send).

Adrien Broner versus Mayweather's Money Team boxer Ashely Theophane

The producer of "Slammer" didn't do the best job with the song. The production on "Panda" is slicker, more polished. If Broner wants to be a rapper, they are going to have to improve the production on his tracks and sync them better. At the end of the day, "Slammer" is also not my type of song, as it is full of profanity and crude references to women, which doesn't set a good example for impressionable audiences.

In closing, Broner better be careful Mayweather doesn't pay a  rapper to diss him back and call the track "Bowling Alley" (LOL I'm playing).

Video Surfaces Of Adrien Broner Assault And Robbery (Video)

Video has surfaced online of boxer Adrien Broner engaging in assault and robbery for which he was arrested in March 2016. The victim in the case alleged Broner punched him in the chin twice, splitting it open, which required 60 stitches, after a night of betting on bowling games went wrong. After Broner punched the man, he took back his money from the betting losses and $2,000 of the victim's money. He has sued Broner and filed a complaint with the police. Prosecutors filed charges and arrested Broner in April 2016. Broner is free on bail pending trial.

Adrien Broner's mug shot

The only problem with the video is it's so grainy you can't make out anyone on the tape to obtain a positive identification. In that sense, it is useless. Voices are heard on the tape and one of them is definitely Broner, who sounds very agitated. Another voice is heard on the tape saying "chill A.B." which is Broner's initials and one of his nicknames.

Adrien Broner Disses Floyd Mayweather And The Money Team In New Song ‘Slammer’

Adrien Broner's song "Slammer"

Ohio boxer, Adrien Broner, who fancies himself a rapper in his spare time, just released a new explicit rap song entitled “Slammer (Mayweather & TMT Diss).” The word “slammer” is slang term in America for jail. Broner was recently incarcerated for 11-days on a probation violation, in connection with an original offense for DUI and a second incident on reckless driving charges in Ohio.

“Slammer” uses the beat from the rap song “Panda” by Designer, who performed the music during the ring walk of Broner's most recent fight. In the diss track Broner slams Mayweather and his Money Team collective of boxers and businesspeople. Broner raps, “I got Floyd going against me...I found out I couldn’t get him, so I knocked out his nig*a.”

Broner v. Theophane

The lyric is in reference to Mayweather refusing to fight Broner, but making a business deal for him to fight his Money Team boxer, Ashley Theophane, which occurred on April 1, 2016. The fight ended in the 9th round, due to a low blow from Broner, which was proceeded by an immediate controversial call from the referee, who disregarded Theophane stating he was okay to continue the fight. It was a strange occurrence. However, it really wasn't a knockout or knockdown. The song "Slammer" was another low blow, especially considering after the fight Broner took to Instagram and referred to Theophane as a friend.

Broner resents Theophane and fellow Money Team boxer, Gervonta Davis, as Mayweather took them under his wing and has been helping them as he once did Adrien, whom many used to refer to as his protégé. As stated in the column previously, Broner is clearly experiencing abandonment issues regarding the man, Mayweather, whom he used to refer to as his big brother.

Image posted by MMA star Conor McGregor of potential Floyd Mayweather bout

Broner is angry at all the talk in the sports industry about Mayweather potentially coming out of retirement to fight MMA’s top star, Conor McGregor. Broner wants to be the one to fight Mayweather. He even broached the subject after the Theophane fight. However, it caused Mayweather to literally laugh until he cried at ringside, not taking the challenge seriously.

There are other highly charged lyrics in the song "Slammer" such as the line “And that’s on life, keep playing and you’ll use yours” which sounds like a threat against Mayweather or the man who has sued him for assault and battery at a Ohio bowling alley, after a personal incident went wrong. Broner pulled a gun on the man, who had won $10,000 betting against him. Broner, a multi-millionaire, punched him in the chin twice, knocking him unconscious, then took his money back, in addition to $2,000 belonging to the victim.

The victim required hospitalization and 60-stitches to repair his chin that was split open by Broner, in a matter that is now a criminal case against Broner, who also raps on the aforementioned track in reference to the incident, "you try to sue me, I won't settle" "clean gun, dirty handle" and "they say they got me on camera."

The line “I hang with all felons” is also present on the song and a bad idea. Broner further raps "I'm trying to stay up out of the slammer” but the way to do that is not to hang out with felons. You are the company you keep. The Money Team and the man who has sued Broner for assault, will not be happy with the song. Broner also needs to remember that police and members of the court also listen to music. "Slammer" may full well rile them up in a legal matter that Broner needs leniency. If he is not careful, the court will make an example of him for it, due to the incendiary, unremorseful comments he has made that are clearly about the criminal case.
