Floyd Mayweather Former Side Chick Rmarni Saddened By Lack Of Traction In Her Career

Floyd Mayweather and Rmarni

Pretty 19-year-old Instagram model, Rmarni Ellis, has been posting sad photos on social networking. Rmarni hit the press after she paid 1,000 for a meet and greet in London, England with retired former boxing champion, Floyd Mayweather, who was visiting from America. Mayweather began dating Rmarni and briefly added her to his concubines (there are about two dozen).

Rmarni and her sister briefly spent time with Mayweather in London after the meet and greet, then a few weeks in America. Shortly after Mayweather returned her to Britain. Months later, Mayweather invited Rmarni out to America again for a short trip that lasted a couple weeks. Then, he returned her to Britain again.

Rmarni Ellis

Several months have elapsed and Rmarni has been posting photos on Instagram looking sad. She is an aspiring singer and thought bedding Mayweather would be a stepping stone in her career. However, a year has past and nothing has happened in her career. It has left her despondent. She is also the victim of cyberbullying, as people on social networking continue to slam her behavior for having running off with Mayweather right after meeting him.

Rmarni and her sister went on a trip with Mayweather and some of his other women a few months ago, engaged in wild and debauched sex, only to leave with $20,000 in shopping and cash. Rmarni wants to be rich and she thought Mayweather would have been a means to become wealthy, but nothing has happened.

Rmarni's sister "Pictureliss"

Rmarni has a pleasant singing voice and clearly wants to become a singer. She would need acting lessons to compliment the sense of humor she displays online if she were to get into acting. She needs acting lessons, an agent and to go on auditions. It's either that or date a footballer (LOL). Mayweather has not been successful at giving his women careers in music or acting. Mayweather tried to make ex-fiancée, Shantel Jackson, an actress and model, but it failed. At the end of the day, women need to use their minds, not their behinds, to get ahead.

Boxer Tyson Fury Relinquishes His WBA And WBO Title After Testing Positive For Cocaine

Champ Gives Up Title Rather Than Being Stripped Of Them Due To Positive Cocaine Test

Tyson Fury

British boxing champ, Tyson Fury, has relinquished his WBO and WBA boxing titles, after testing positive for cocaine. Months prior, Fury lost his IBF title, due to a rematch clause with boxer Wladimir Klitschko, the former world champion he defeated in a rousing November 2015 match. The fight was amazing. However, Fury has fallen into the cocaine trap other champions have such as his namesake, Mike Tyson and fellow Brit, Ricky Hatton.

Boxers take punishment in the ring and it can result in depression. In failed attempts at escaping the pain, boxers have turned to cocaine. However, cocaine only makes their problems worse. While I do not encourage boxers to take cocaine, I am not going to judge them either, as they are clearly in pain and suffering from concussive issues that can lead to depression. I covered this subject almost three years ago on January 22, 2014 in How To Reap The Benefits Of Boxing While Avoiding The Pitfalls and again on February 27, 2016 in Boxers And Brain Injuries.

Tyson Fury (left) and Wladimir Klitschko (right)

I've often wondered about the pain boxers endure in the ring. Boxers don't publicly cry when they are hurt, but they must be in pain. Punches to the face and body shots are humanly painful. However, more has to be done regarding creating awareness for boxers on the dangerous of drugs, how to properly address health problems from the ring and pain management, as due to the strength and stamina they possess, boxers often think they are invincible.

It is a part of their job title to think, train and fight like they are invincible. It helps them win. However, at the end of the day, boxers must remember they are human and need proper care. Don't shrug off health concerns, believing you are too tough to be wounded. At some point or another, everyone is hurt in life. It's called being human. Take care of yourselves, both mentally and physically. I wish you good mental and physical health.

Boxer Adrien Broner Regrettably Threatened To Kill Himself Prompting Police To Locate Him

Adrien Broner

Troubled boxer, Adrien Broner, who is battling substance abuse issues, threatened to kill himself this week. Broner posted a photo of a gun and the caption, "I'm going home I love y'all" and shortly after, "3PM I'm doing it I'm sorry to my family and friends but I don't want to be here no more this s**t too much." However, his family and police intervened and then released statements stating they've located Broner and he is okay.

In the July 1, 2016 article Judge Should Order Adrien Broner To Rehab For His Own Good I wrote the boxer needs rehab. Not only is Broner struggling with alcoholism, he is suffering from the effects of knockdowns and blows to the head in the boxing ring, which can create depression (See "head injury" second of article: How To Reap The Benefits Of Boxing While Avoiding The Pitfalls). A good doctor and therapist could assist him with the depression. It does not help that he is being harassed by questionable people outside the boxing industry, who have no business bothering this man. He needs to extricate himself from those situations.

Broner has to keep things in perspective. As stated in previous articles, Broner has a beautiful family. He also has a great boxing career with many wins, several titles and millions in purse money under his belt, pardon the pun. There is so much Broner can do with his life. He cannot allow himself to wallow in depression, as it will bring him misery.

Something is troubling Broner and he needs to let that thing go, because it is not worth his life. Broner has six children who don't need to be fatherless. Broner also needs to be thankful the assault case against him was resolved and dismissed, as he could have went to prison for years. There is much to be thankful for in his life.

I've stated it before and I will state it again, Broner needd to drop the negative people from his circle. He needs positivity and hope in his midst. He needs strong minded people who are trying to elevate him, not bring him down. And once again, whatever he thinks is so terrible in his life, he needs to let it go and choose to be happy. That's a general rule for everyone. If anything is making you that miserable that you want to die, it is time to reevaluate the situation and let that problem go.

Judge Should Order Adrien Broner To Rehab For His Own Good

Adrien Broner's Instagram page requesting the public write to him in jail

Former four time world champion boxer Adrien Broner was arrested for drunk driving last year. He was temporarily detained, then bailed. This year, Broner was sentenced to 10-days in jail for the offense. Broner is now in jail again, for contempt of court, as he showed up 3-hours late to a court hearing on an assault case, as he had a terrible hangover.

Broner unquestionably has a substance abuse problem, as something so serious as court and he still could not get himself together and show up sober and on time. It speaks volumes. The judge should order Broner to rehab for his own good. It is not getting better. It is getting worse. Something is troubling Broner that he is drinking to the point of total inebriation. He has become addicted. When people reach the point they can't stop themselves through their own willpower, it is time for an intervention. The court is in a position to do that.

Broner needs medical help and treatment for addiction. It's way past the point of recreational drinking, where you have a drink with dinner or at an event. Broner is at the point that he drinks until he is impaired. And sometimes gets behind the wheel of a sports car, which could turn fatal. The cop that stopped Broner for driving while intoxicated did him a favor, because who knows, he was speeding and driving so poorly, an accident could have happened.

Broner is a boxer and alcohol consumed to excess is very damaging to athletes. And the end of the day, Broner is a human being first and foremost. He needs to take care of his life and health, so he can live a good life and enjoy his family.

Adrien Broner Jailed For 30 Days Spending His Birthday Behind Bars After Judge Calls Him A Tardy Drunkard

Adrien Broner post on Instagram website

Beleaguered boxer, Adrien Broner, showed up to a court hearing late on July 20, 2016 and was promptly jailed for being late. The former four time world champion boxer, who lost his title for failing to make weight in his last fight, in on trial on assault and robbery charges. Broner, who is struggling with substance abuse problems, was tardy and informed the judge he has been feeling sick, as someone put something in his drink the night before.

Judge Ruehlman showed Broner no sympathy on his claim of illness stating, "You don't look well. You look like you have a hangover." Broner stated to the judge, "I have been sick all morning. When I finally got well I called my lawyer." The judge responded, "It's not a good excuse. He looks like he's drunk or hungover. To coin a little boxing phrase - you're not ducking this one." Broner was hit with a contempt of court charge and sentenced to 30 days in jail.

Post on Adrien Broner's Instagram page requesting the public write to him in jail

The Judiciary Report has been stating Broner needs to go to rehab. However, until he sees the urgency of getting help for his substance abuse issues he, his health, his family and career will continue to suffer. Broner has boxing talent and could achieve a lot more in boxing, but that's not going to happen if he is constantly behind bars. Broner has received title shots and other big fights that most boxers dream of, but keeps taking it for granted. There are so many boxers who wish they had the opportunities he does, but he is throwing them away and in the prime of his career.

Broner needs to take a good look at the people in his circle. A number of them are still involved in crime and violence. They sometimes influence him to do the wrong thing. I know Broner doesn't like being corrected, but what's bad about telling him he has a lot of potential, a lovely family and a chance to do big things in his career, if he would just gets help for his addictions and stay out of trouble.

Was Adrien Broner Wrong To Turn Down The Manny Pacquiao Fight Wanting More Money

Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao

Top Rank boxing promoter, Bob Arum, revealed during an interview with BoxingScene.com that boxer Adrien Broner turned down the opportunity to fight boxing legend Manny Pacquiao. Broner wanted more money than Arum was offering. Arum stated Broner "priced himself out of the fight" and "I was dealing with Al Haymon on making that fight. Al tried but Broner was asking for crazy money that nobody can afford, so he is out and Manny is looking for another opponent.

Adrien Broner

Since Mayweather has retired and Pacquiao retired and un-retired (LOL) Manny is the biggest draw in boxing. Other champions such as Tyson Fury (heavyweight), Deontay Wilder (heavyweight) and Canelo Alvarez (middleweight) are pulling in strong viewing numbers and millions of dollars per fight.

The problem is Broner wants to be the new Floyd Mayweather, but he has not fought long enough to bring in that type of money from boxing ticket sales and pay-per-view. You have to get in where you fit in. Once you reach that level, then you can demand the huge sums your pay-per-view numbers warrant (oops, I said warrant and Adrien is in jail - I'm just playing Adrien, don't get mad).

July 13, 2016 - Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner has never been shy about voicing his opinion and this week on social media he’s let fly at Hall of Fame Promoter Bob Arum. In recent times there has been speculation in the boxing world that if a Manny Pacquiao return were to happen in late 2016, which his promoter Bob Arum has said it will, that a possible opponent for the Filipino boxing icon could be Broner...

Recent reports on Boxing Scene suggested that Broner had priced himself out of the fight, according to Top Rank head honcho Bob Arum. But Broner has lambasted Arum this week on his Instagram account saying that he is not paying him enough to take the fight...

Thurman v. Porter Scores Big With Boxing Fans

Keith Thurman Jr vs. Shawn Porter

Thurman v. Porter lit up the boxing world on Saturday night in New York. Keith Thurman Jr. ("One Time") squared off against Shawn Porter ("Showtime"). Two great welterweight boxers went to war. Thurman won in a unanimous victory during the slugfest with a score of 115-113, 115-113, 115-113. Many on social networking are branding it the fight of the year. The reviews from fans are overwhelmingly positive. Ironically, though it was slugfest, the two men are friends. However, it was all business in the ring.

Thurman should fight boxer Adrien Broner, who can box, but is trouble prone outside the ring. Broner is a big puncher for his weight class and would bring a significant amount of publicity from fight fans and casual observers. Broner is currently fighting a criminal case for knocking out a man in a Ohio bowling alley parking lot, after he lost a $10,000 bet.

I need to stop making jokes about Broner, due to what I have written in past columns. He might sic his baby mama on me. You guys would just see it on the news “And on tonight's news, blogger knocked out cold in parking lot by Adrien Broner’s baby mama” (LOL).

Boxers Determining The Right Weight Class

Adrien Broner looked like he was dreaming about a cheeseburger at the weigh-in after not eating for days

Boxers choose the weight class they feel is right for them for various reason. There are 17 standard weight classes. Among them are light flyweight, flyweight, bantamweight, lightweight, light welterweight, welterweight, middleweight, cruiserweight, heavyweight, super heavyweight ect. Some feel more comfortable fighting at the weight class closest to their natural weight, while others struggle by choosing a weight class well below their natural size. Some even choose their weight class based on their favorite boxer growing up.

However, what happens when a boxer struggles to maintain that weight (especially in the lighter weight classes). What happens when it becomes an issue for a boxer to make weight/reach the catchweight for their fight. Boxers are fined for not making weight, losing tens of thousands of dollars, as being heavier than the stipulated catchweight provides an undue advantage over an opponent, which can turn dangerous.

Some boxers like their food more than others, indulging in pork chops, steaks, ribs, French fries, hot dogs, cake and ice cream (*looks at Adrien Broner*). Broner famously had a problem making weight this year for his fight against challenger, Ashley Theophane. It resulted in Broner being stripped of the belt and being fined $50,000 which he had to pay to Theophane. Broner now states he has outgrown the lightweight division and will move up to welterweight - translation: he’s not giving up the pork chops.

Broner and Theophane were not overweight prior to training camp, but they don’t seem to be fighting at their natural weight. Translation: those two looked hungry at the weigh-in like they were having fantasy type visions of cheeseburgers (LOL). They looked exhausted and below their natural weight for the fight, due to intense training and trimming down to make the catchweight. Theophane only had a few pounds to lose. Broner had roughly 25-pounds to lose after indulging in his favorite foods between fights and missed it by a small margin at the weigh-in. Hence the fine.

Some boxers really appear to be naturally thin due to their metabolism (Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez, Guillermo Rigondeaux). However, others clearly make a disciplined effort to lose weight for the catchweight, as they don't maintain the stipulated weight for their weight class between fights.
If Broner feels he can comfortably fight in a new weight class, this should not pose a problem for him and may as well, as he is clearly unhappy trying to maintain his weight in the lightweight division. To go for days without eating, while running for hours days in a row, mentally and physically draining one’s self for each fight, will take its toll after a while.

Being a welterweight will not pose a risk to Broner’s health (provided he doesn‘t develop cholesterol problems from the pork chops and hot dogs). Therefore, he may as well leave the lightweight division. It can’t be worth the distress of slimming down with a hungry look in your eyes like a zombie. Looking like you’re about to raid a donut shop and jump into a pile of donuts face first.

Some boxing trainers insist, if you aren’t use to fighting in a different weight class, it can cause a problem. Therefore, boxers will have to weight the risks (*looks at Amir Khan*). This year, Amir Khan famously went up two weight classes to fight Canelo Alvarez, who is like a bull and strong as an ox. It worked for a little bit, but the moment Canelo correctly cut off the ring he knocked out Khan in a KO that is very uncomfortable to watch.

Khan was laid out on the canvas, looking like he was going. After a few minutes, medical staff were able to revive him and take the boxer to the hospital. As much as Khan had gained weight and some muscle, successfully hitting the catchweight, he was not use to fighting as a middleweight or facing one. It was an intense knockout. Thus far, the knockout of the year. Khan was not used to being hit with that type of force and could have paid for it with his health. It was too much of a jump in weight class.

Muhammad Ali’s Former Mistress Trying To Sell Secret Sex Tapes Of The Boxer And Says He Fathered Her Child Who Grew Up Without Him

Muhammad Ali

Boxing legend Muhammad Ali passed away this month at the age of 74. Millions of people all over the world extended their condolences on his death. However, it also brought opportunistic people out of the woodwork and disgraceful behavior has surfaced. A former mistress of the boxer from the 1970s, Barbara Mensah, has come forward stating Ali fathered her child while he was married and she is offering sex tapes of the boxer for sale. It is being stated she wants $100,000 for the sex tapes of Ali and herself at sex parties.

Mensah wants money and is willing to disgrace Ali to get it. That’s vile. There is no honor in selling out someone like this. Mensah should be legally enjoined in a court of law from exhibiting or selling said sex tapes in any way. The tapes should be destroyed, as it violates the rights of another human being, who did not consent to them being released. She is exploiting the dead as well. Mensah is selling Ali out in a major way.

Muhammad Ali and Barbara Mensah

Ali really appears to be the father of Mensah’s child. You would think for that reason she would have some sympathy for him. However, she is betraying him by telling the world the private things that occurred in her presence that he would not want public knowledge. She is exposing the father of her child to the press for attention and money, pitching sex tapes he would not have wanted made public.

As he got older, Ali stated he regretted giving into the desires of the flesh, naming it one of his biggest regrets in life, as it hurt people he loved via cheating and later adultery. Ali regretted not sticking to a committed relationship (marriage) which would have spared himself and others emotional pain. Younger men need to heed that warning, as some of you are making a mess of your personal lives, in what will have a long lasting impact on yourself and others.

Muhammad Ali and his daughter he sired in an affair with Barbara Mensah in the 1970s

I don’t understand the conduct of women who meet famous men, get knocked up for said multi-millionaire celebrities, then run to the press selling them out when they don’t get what they want and or are trying to force their hand into marriage. What’s the sense of running to the press to claim a famous man as the father of your child when he wanted nothing to do with you after you trapped him with a pregnancy he did not agree to in any measure, stemming from a fling he wasn’t serious about.

It could not feel good to get pregnant for a famous man (or any man for that matter under bad circumstances), have your child, but then he is off with another woman and in clear sight of the public. Women need to think before they get themselves into those situations.

Barbara Mensah, 70 and her daughter Kiiursti, 35, who she states was fathered by Muhammad Ali who died this month at age 74

Some women get knocked up for famous men, trying to trap them into marriage, then get vindictive when things don‘t turn out how they had planned, leaving them feeling embarrassed and cast aside. When the man doesn’t want to marry them, they become bitter and resentful. The bitterness is compounded when their child grows up without their dad in their life on a regular basis, as he is married to someone else, seriously dating someone else or ends up marrying another woman and having kids with her.

Muhammad Ali 'sex tapes' scandal as ex who claims he fathered her daughter tries to cash in 22:32, 11 Jun 2016 - Updated 07:00, 12 Jun 2016 - Barbara Mensah, who claims her daughter Kiiursti is the lovechild of the boxing icon, wants a six-figure sum for the sleazy footage. A former girlfriend of Muhammad Ali has made a sick bid to cash in on his death by offering for sale tapes she claims show him at sex parties. Barbara Mensah, who alleges her daughter Kiiursti is the lovechild of the three-times world heavyweight champion, wants a six-figure sum for the footage.

Just two days after The Greatest was buried at a funeral attended by world leaders and celebrities, grasping Barbara told the Sunday People : “I know the value of the footage. “No one has anything like this. I’d like to get as much as I can for it.” The scheming mum said she is looking for more than $100,000 – about £70,000. Barbara, 70, has already made inquiries to get the old cine film transferred on to CD to make her sordid deal easier to clinch.

She claimed the footage was shot at “gumbo parties” arranged after his fights. She said: “There would be Ali and a few of his guys and then about a dozen or more girls. “All of them were stunning. Muhammad couldn’t keep away from a pretty girl whether he was married or not. “The tapes show them having sex. “They used to call them gumbo parties – it was a mix of everything.” Gumbo is a traditional Louisiana stew... Barbara also claims to have written a “blockbuster” book about her life with Ali which eight publishers are competing for. Kiiursti, 35, who looks remarkably like the ex-world heavyweight champ, is said to be the result of a 20-year affair Barbara had with Ali in his heyday...

Rigging Boxing Fights

Boxing is a dangerous but rewarding sport. It requires years of hard work. Careers are best undertaken in well planned steps, increasing the level of opponent in proper fashion, until one hopefully reaches the pinnacle of the sport, culminating into a world championship. That is the ideal route to take.

Most boxers are hardworking and doing things the right way within the rules of the sport. However, last November I found out something regarding a boxer that disappointed me. I currently know of a boxer who wanted fame and fortune overnight and took the wrong route. I have it on very good authority that his last two fights were rigged. It brought him two titles months apart, but the wrong way, which isn’t fair to the many hardworking, honest fighters in the sport or to the fans.

After his fight last winter, a very credible source informed me that it was rigged. I was very disappointed to learn this. I had hoped he would take the honest route. It was so unnecessary and not good for the sport. The next fight this particular boxer had took place a few short months ago during this past spring and it was rigged as well. The second rigged fight a few months ago was more obvious. A male sports writer commented on a boxing site that the opposing boxer "threw himself down" after barely getting hit (when he’d successfully taken much bigger punches before that did not result in him being knocked down or knocked out). It supported what I had been told about his previous title fight being rigged. Some people are now publicly calling the win a paper title.

The problem with fight rigging is when one acquires a title, one must at some point defend it by facing mandatory challengers. Not every opponent is going to go along with fight rigging. After rigging two title fights and prior to that fighting opponents who were labeled journeymen, what happens when the boxer gets a tough mandatory like Tyson Fury or Deontay Wilder, who can both box very well and hit hard. He could end up in the hospital.

It is a dangerous thing to prematurely occupy a title one is not ready for, as an untested boxer can end up hospitalized with serious injuries under such circumstances, due to the sheer force of the punches in the heavyweight division from its most skilled fighters. Hence me ringing the alarm on this matter, as it is dangerous. To surround one’s self with yes men and crazy people from the entertainment industry, who know nothing about boxing and insanely think they are the illuminati, while promising said boxer fame and fortune, is to put one’s career, health and life in jeopardy, while getting into the square circle. Boxing is not a game. Some people walk in the ring and end up getting carried out with serious injuries.

To lull a boxer into a false sense of security, filling his life with Hollywood hype, then when the real test comes he ends up hospitalized, is seriously wrong and unethical. The sad part is he did not have to take this route. In time with hard work and diligence he could have legitimately reached very far. However, now he is on a rapid collision course with disaster, due to the love of money, which truly is the root of all evil, as the Bible says. There's nothing wrong with having money, but when you love it to the point it compromises you, leading you to start lying to your fans, betraying decent people who helped you when you had nothing and you stop listening to honest family and friends in your life in favor of fake famous friends who aren't really your friends, it inevitably leads to trouble.

The Passing Of Boxer And Human Rights Activist Muhammad Ali Mourned All Over The World

Muhammad Ali

Former heavyweight boxing champion, Muhammad Ali, has died at the age of 74. Ali was checked into a hospital in Arizona this past Thursday and listed as in stable condition. However, his condition took a turn for the worst on Friday. Reports state Ali died from septic shock and organ failure. His family was at his hospital bedside.

Ali won the heavyweight world title three times in his career. He retired with a record of 61-5. However, he was most known for the human rights stance he took during the civil rights era in America that saw black people suffer terrible injustices. Ali stood up to the U.S. government at a time when doing so could have gotten him murdered, as happened to other key figures during the civil rights movement, under illegal, invasive investigation by the FBI and CIA. There are offensive secret files on Ali at both agencies, for daring to stand up to injustice in America.

Ali won a gold medal at the 1960 Olympics. When he returned to America, he thought it would mean he would be treated with respect and have equal rights. However, a restaurant refused to serve Ali a meal, as it was “whites only.” Ali left the restaurant and later threw his gold medal into the river. A replica was later made and given to Ali to replace the original Olympic medal.

Muhammad Ali and the first black Miss America, the beautiful Vanessa Williams

Ali was diagnosed with Parkinsons in 1984, the direct result of punishing blows he took to the head in the ring while wearing his opponents down. Ali remained active despite his diagnosis. I cared for someone with Parkinsons for 6-months. In that time, I gained a greater understanding of the disorder than before. It is the accelerated degeneration of the brain initiated by head trauma.

Many people with Parkinsons suffered head trauma at some point in their lives and it is a common link. The brain controls the body and in that Parkinsons manifests itself in a number of physical ways. Medicine, rest, proper nutrition, physical therapy and brain training helps in delaying the progression of the disorder.

Tweets on Ali from my Twitter page

As stated in the column previously, my parents met Ali in the 1970s when he visited Kingston, Jamaica and was a special guest at the Prime Minister's residence for a function held in his honor. My dad's friend, former Prime Minister, Michael Manley, invited Ali to the island and he graciously accepted. My parents stated Ali was a nice, charming and humorous person (Meeting Muhammad Ali). My condolences to Ali's family on his passing. I am sorry for your loss. He was a special person and it is sad to see him go.

The AIBA Makes New Rule Allowing Professional Boxers To Compete At The Olympics

Canelo Alvarez knocks out Amir Khan last month in Las Vegas for WBC middleweight title

The AIBA has issued a ruling allowing professional boxers to compete at the Olympics. A number of high profile boxers are against the decision, labeling it dangerous, while a few pugilists, such as Manny Pacquiao and Wladimir Klitschko  are in favor of it. Professional boxers have a huge advantage over amateur boxers. As stated in the column previously, when you look at the videos of a boxer during his amateur days, compared to his professional career, about 20 fights in, you will see a significant difference and improvement.

Boxer Amir Khan who was born, raised and lives in Britain, wants to fight for his father's native Pakistan at the Olympics. The Pakistani Olympic committee is excited about the news. However, as some have pointed out, Khan may not be eligible. Years prior, Khan's brother, Haroon, fought for Britain at the Olympics and later tried to represent Pakistan. He was declined due to Olympic rules. Britain has done a lot for Khan. No disrespect to Pakistan, but if he is to go to the Olympics, Khan should fight for Britain.

Britain currently has 13 world champions and would have a massive advantage if they sent their professional pugilists to the Rio Olympics in Brazil. However, based on a statement online, the British Olympic committee does not seem to be in favor of sending their professional boxers, wanting to give the amateurs a chance.

Amir Khan keen to represent Pakistan at Olympic Games in Rio

Last Updated: 01/06/16 4:14pm - Khan's comments came after the International Boxing Association (AIBA) announced on Wednesday that professional boxers would be allowed to compete in Brazil this summer. Khan subsequently turned professional and in 2009 outpointed Andriy Kotelnik to win the WBA world super-lightweight title.

The 29-year-old - whose most recent fight ended in a brutal knockout defeat to WBC middleweight champion Saúl Álvarez - hailed the ruling by boxing's governing body. "It's a decision which I welcome," Khan said at a press conference in Karachi. Khan represented Great Britain at the 2004 Olympics in Greece.

"It will help boxers and if I am permitted as per rules and from my promoter then I would love to compete for Pakistan. I will be very happy if I can compete in the Olympics. I want to serve Pakistan." Khan's father, Shah, hails from a village close to the capital Islamabad but migrated to Britain, where Amir was born in 1986.

Pakistan Boxing Federation secretary Iqbal Hussain said he was thrilled at the prospect of Khan representing the country. "I have to check the rules whether Amir can compete or not but it would be a huge boost for us if it happens because he is our hero," he said. Khan's younger brother, Haroon, was blocked from representing Pakistan at the 2012 London Olympics as he had represented Great Britain at junior level.

Floyd Mayweather's Ex-Fiancée Shantel Jackson Posts Photo Of Dog With Boxing Reference Naming The Pet Champ

Shantel Jackson and Floyd Mayweather before he called off their engagement

Champion boxer Floyd Mayweather's former fiancée, Shantel Jackson, posted a photo on Instagram.com of a black dog, naming the pet "champ" with a boxing reference to "Rocky" star Mr. T. Jackson clearly still has Mayweather on her mind to make that post. The question is why. Mayweather dumped Jackson for aborting his twin babies and telling him he stressed her into a miscarriage.

Jackson, via famed attorney, Gloria Alred, filed a lawsuit against Mayweather, but not much is being said about it anymore. At the time of the lawsuit being filed, the case was difficult to locate in the court system as well. Jackson has been trying to get back the $5,000,000 engagement ring Mayweather had given her, then took back after lying to him about the abortion. It is customary for a woman to return the ring if the engagement is cancelled.

Jackson's career has not taken off in Hollywood, leaving her depending on small product placements on Instagram.com, as well as financial assistance from rapper/actor, Nelly, whom she has been dating for over 2-years. However, Nelly has not popped the question or fathered children by Jackson, who has now become broody. The situation has Jackson thinking about Mayweather again. Sad situation.

I know the politically correct thing is to state a woman's body is her own (which is true) and abortion is a right that's your business. However, ladies, I would like to encourage you not to have abortions. So many women who've had abortions regret it and wonder year after year what their child would have been like at each stage of life. They need to forgive themselves and seek emotional and spiritual healing. Women have been raising babies since the beginning of time. Don't be afraid to keep your baby. You can successfully raise your child.
