Boxer Tyson Fury Complains About Steroids Use In Sports At Wladimir Klitschko Pre-Fight Press Conference

British heavyweight boxing champion, Tyson Fury, 27, who is set to face WBA, WBO and IBF world champion, Ukrainian pugilist Wladimir Klitschko, 39, this Saturday in Dusseldorf, Germany. During a press conference and interviews this week, Fury sounded off on a number of things. The jokes were in abundance as Fury tried to irritate Klitschko by leaning over and whispering in his ear "Ooh, you smell nice" then proclaiming to the press that his rival "Smelt of perfume. Women's perfume."

On a more serious subject, Fury has gone on record complaining about the use of steroids in sports. Fury stated in an interview this week, "I can look at a man and tell you if he's full of drugs by one glance at his body with his top off. Boxing has got a big problem with drugs. Why don't they make drugs totally legal in sports and then it would be fully fair? You can't tell me these sports people aren't taking drugs when they look like Greek gods. You can train for 100 years and your body will never look like that. But if a man wants to pump himself full of drugs it's only shortening his life."

Fury complained that he trains often and his body does not look chiseled. Fury stated, "I’ve trained all my life, I’m fighting for the heavyweight championship of the world. But my body is like jelly, it’s a natural body you see" (LOL). Fury has shaped up thanks to a new trainer. He looks firmer, slightly thinner and a bit more defined, but by no means does he have a very muscular body.

Some thought Fury was calling Klitschko "Drago" from the "Rocky IV" film, regarding the Russian boxer who was pumped full of steroids ('Rocky IV' Highlights The Advantages Of Contrasting Training Methods). When pressed about his steroids comments to the BBC, with some wondering out loud if it was a dig at Klitschko, who is very muscular, well defined and solid, Fury stated the comment was meant in general.

Steroids and all forms of performance enhancing drugs should not be legalized in sports. It is very dangerous for the health. As stated in past columns (Steroids Shortens Your Penis And Life), steroids wreaks havoc on the heart (and the penis, which women will not be happy about LOL). Studies have confirmed these facts. So many wrestlers and bodybuilders that have used steroids died young from heart attacks. It's not worth it.

If steroids were legalized it would lead to greater consumption, whereas now drug cheats are trying to hide it by only using it at certain times. Steroids are poison. Pumping that into one's body frequently will promote heart attacks and cancer. Nothing beats hard work and doing things the right way.

Robert Smith, general secretary of the British Boxing Board of Control, told the BBC on Tuesday that he did not believe doping was a major problem in the sport. A statement from board said it was "committed in its fight against drug use in professional boxing" and has "an extensive programme of out-of-competition testing and in-competition testing."

Undefeated boxer, Floyd Mayweather, angry at the renewed bad publicity surrounding him, has reneged on an offer to fight rival Manny Pacquiao in a rematch, after winning the unanimous decision over him a week ago in their widely watched bout. Mayweather had stated to ESPN's Stephen A. Smith that he is open to a rematch with Pacquiao.

The news of the rematch delighted many on social networking. However, Mayweather changed his mind after a stream of bad publicity calling the first fight fixed and his mood was worsened after negative exposure via a serious $20,00,000 defamation lawsuit by the mother of three of his children, Josie Harris. Mayweather is now calling Pacquiao a "sore loser" and a "coward." 

It should be noted, Mayweather has changed his mind many times in the past about fighting Pacquiao, but did so anyway in what was a record breaking, lucrative bout. Mayweather loves money and will unlikely leave another $180,000,000 on the table in not having a rematch with his top rival Pacquiao. Mayweather has become very wealthy from hard work in the gym and boxing ring, as has Pacquiao. They earned their money fair and square. A rematch would be a wise financial decision.

Do I have any regrets about ordering the fight? No. It was an entertaining experience, under card included. However, I would like to see Mayweather set a better example outside the ring as a wealthy young black man (go to anger management, refrain from domestic violence and stop keeping a stable of girlfriends).
Though he has not finished school, he is no fool (it would be beneficial to him if he obtained his high school diploma via private tutoring). Anyone who listens to Mayweather speak should be able to discern that. However, people are watching him and he has to do better regarding his personal life.

It was billed the “fight of the century” but some fans, both famous and non-famous, have now branded it “underwhelming.” After 5-years of anticipation, undefeated American champion, Floyd Mayweather, fought his top rival, beloved Filipino star, Manny Pacquiao and won in a unanimous decision.

Pacquiao and his supporters were shocked the fight was not awarded to him. A dismayed Pacquiao stated, “I thought I won the fight.” Pacquiao's aunt later stated the fight was fixed and people paid to give the win to Mayweather. An item also began circulating online from the Nevada State Athletic Commission that alleged revealed discrepancies and problems with the fight’s scoring, leading some to stay Pacquiao was robbed.

Mayweather’s supporters stated he fought the same fight he always does, a defensive game, consisting of evading one’s opponent and won as a result, bringing his record to 48-0. One day before the fight, Marcos Maidana, who fought Mayweather twice last year and did not prevail, warned in an interview with Boxing Channel that the champ would win, due to the game plan he employs for every fight. Maidana stated, “Mayweather will do what he always does, run and Pacquiao will chase him.” That's exactly what happened.

The Judiciary Report would like to see a rematch between Mayweather and Pacquiao, but next time with a few changes. For example, only 500 tickets were placed on sale to the fight at the MGM. If there is a rematch, several thousand tickets should be made available for sale and at reasonable prices (most of the revenues for the fight came from pay-per-view anyway, not ticket sales).

The remaining thousands of tickets can go to specialty ticket brokers. Many tickets ended up in the hands of celebrities, some of whom were not really boxing fans and only wanted to be seen at the event. Some missed the under card, which was quite good, due to arriving fashionably late. Open up future events so more everyday boxing fans who truly appreciate the sport can afford a ticket and the whole experience.

Mayweather v. Pacquiao again proved that boxing is an enjoyable sport and the Judiciary Report would like to see it continue to flourish. While the Mayweather v. Pacquiao purse is not the norm and was the largest in history, even breaking pay-per-view records, at the end of the day, people must remember, sports is a business and people need to be paid for their labor.

Immediately after the fight, Mayweather was booed by a largely American audience at the MGM Grand, on his home soil, which was quite ironic and left the boxer very angry and upset. Being booed by a home crowd could not be easy. However, Mayweather's life outside the ring, via his image, created the booing and general lack of support from the public. He recently slammed boxing legend Muhammad Ali and gold medalist sprinter, Usain Bolt, for no reason, which did him no favors with the public.

Mayweather’s personal life has overshadowed his boxing. Mayweather has been accused of being a serial woman beater and was arrested and jailed for 2-months for beating the mother of his children, Josie Harris, in the presence of his kids. Mayweather’s son, Koraun, ran to security guards at the gated community he, his mother and siblings reside in, begging them to summon police to help his mom, who was being beaten by his dad. Mayweather repeatedly punched Harris in the head and twisted her arm. Mayweather was also accused of beating Melissa Brim, the mother of his first child, who filed a police report against him. Mayweather was accused of slamming a car door on Brim's jaw, pushing her into the vehicle and repeatedly punching her. The Judiciary report has warned for the past two-years that Mayweather's image was getting him into trouble with the public and leading to something bad. Being booed in one's home country after fighting a foreign rival is proof of that. It is not a matter of one displaying favorite cars, clothes, jewelry or a home, as many do on social working without offense. It is Mayweather’s excessive displays and "money is everything" motto, branding it the important thing in life that has caused public offense. It is not a matter of the public being jealous, as without the masses buying his boxing tickets, Mayweather would not have become rich. It's public contempt for such extreme displays of materialism and in essence appearing to worship money, especially in times when there are so many impoverished and homeless people in our world, that has created additional damage to Mayweather's image.

During the post fight press conference after the Pacquiao bout, Mayweather stated he does not appreciate people branding charitable Christian, Pacquiao, "good" and him "evil" saying some are referring to him as "the devil." Mayweather expressed at the press conference that he believes in God and prays as well, which is good. Mayweather’s harem of women has turned off many people as well, as it is deemed indecent, immoral and unethical. Mayweather publicly brags about his girlfriends and refers to women as “bit*hes” and “hos” in an image many people dislike and have shunned him over. Mayweather has run off many decent women from him with this image and attracted gold diggers such as thieving, backstabbing Princess Love (Blogs Accuse Floyd Mayweather's Girlfriend Of Stealing 8 Rolex Watches And $10,000 From One Of His Mansions) and money hungry, scheming ex-fiancé Shantel Jackson.

Jackson, who secretly cheated on Mayweather during their relationship, pretended to be sweet and supportive while using him for every dime, jewel, car, purse and designer outfit she could, then aborted his twin babies without even telling him, in a very unkind act that haunts the boxer to this day. Mayweather has not been the same since Jackson betrayed him and aborted his babies. He has become depressed and embittered from a relationship that never should have been. Then, Jackson dragged him into court trying to take all his money she can, making allegations, much of which are untrue and unkind.

Jackson, who is pretty in looks but not in deeds, lied to Mayweather to manipulate him and control his money, by telling him he stressed her out causing a miscarriage, when she had deliberately aborted his babies not wanting to gain weight, as she wanted to be a model and actress. As the phrase goes, "Pretty is as pretty does."

Famous men who chose vain, greedy women, who are preoccupied with fame and material things, find out the hard way they never loved them, in the event they lose their money and or fame. Women like that will not stick around to be poor and unknown with a famous man who loses his money and or popularity.

What some men fail to understand is any woman can lie and tell you what you want to hear, but it does not mean she means what she's saying. A decent woman will not do that, but some crafty, scheming women will tell you everything you do is right and say all the things they think you want to hear, for the promise of money and or fame from you. However, lose that money and or fame and watch certain women abandon you.

For example, a gold digger told a certain male athlete who shall remain anonymous (I'm not referring to Mayweather) everything he did was right (even though some of it was self-destructive and financially imprudent). Due to yes men and yes women around him, including her, his money went right down. Financial opportunities dried up due to bad behavior on his part, which also caused his popularity to wane. She got so mad at him when she figured out the money was running out. Her true colors came out when she found out his money had gone right down and he could not give her the lavish lifestyle they were planning. She ditched him for an older man with a bit of money, whom she did not love either (that went bad as well).

If someone loves you, they will tell you the truth, even if it means the risk of upsetting you, as they have your best interest at heart and don't want you to make poor choices that will cause you to needlessly suffer. You may get upset with them for telling you the truth about things that are not right in your life, but you'll look back one day and realize they did it from the right motive and because they love you.

What is also alarming is the younger impressionable male athletes and entertainers online trying to emulate Mayweather's hedonistic lifestyle in their own personal lives, imitating the boxer's behavior via publicly bragging about sexing many women and having different girlfriends at the same time. It will unquestionably lead to massive trouble for them in following Mayweather's negative example. Athletes and entertainers following Mayweather's negative example with multiple girlfriends will see their personal lives crash and burn.

Some of these athletes and entertainers trying to emulate Mayweather with many girlfriends will end up with HIV and other tragic events in their lives, as a result of messing with all these women. As the phrase goes, "There's a high price to low living."

Many of the athletes and entertainers imitating Mayweather's wild lifestyle with women and gambling are inadvertently chasing away sponsors, who do not want their brands represented by stars doing these things. Mayweather has many millions and huge job opportunities 99% of athletes and entertainers will not receive in their lifetime (such as multi-million dollar fights). These younger athletes can't afford the gambling and could end up broke when women also start turning up pregnant and demanding money, not to mention the potential loss of their health via STDS and sponsors not wanting to pay wild living stars for endorsements. In short, stop trying to be Mayweather before you destroy your life and do yourself permanent damage.

The Judiciary Report would like to see Mayweather living right by enrolling in anger management, desist calling women derogatory names and stop engaging in promiscuity. That is not the lifestyle God wants for anyone, as it has a painful price over time. It is subtly destructive. It has already caused Mayweather great injury via the gold diggers he has attracted, who have robbed and betrayed him, as well as grievously aborted his unborn babies without telling him. Women of character do not do these things. Fame hungry, materialistic gold diggers do.

Mayweather has been generous to people. It would be great if he continued to do good works for charity and expanded it via positive initiatives to help the less fortunate. It would be great if he settled down with a decent woman as well and spent more of his time with his children and not the gold diggers after his money and fame.

Fresh off his win over tough opponent Bryant Jennings at Madison Square Garden in New York City, world heavyweight boxing champion, Wladimir Klitschko, has agreed to fight the mandatory, British pugilist, Tyson Fury. The boxers camps are currently in negotiations for the bout scheduled to take place within the next 6-months. Fury's promoter Frank Warren wants the fight to be held in London, England. Having the fight in London would give it great publicity and massive ticket sales.

Klitschko stated regarding the pending bout against of Fury, "I just got the news that I am obligated to satisfy my mandatories (title defences). The way it looks, Tyson Fury is going to be my next challenger. Obviously a fight with Tyson Fury is not going to be in the United States. I think this fight needs to happen in Europe. I know that he's the WBA mandatory. It's something that I have to do. Fighting Fury in Germany or in Great Britain, that's something we have to figure out. It's something we have to work out."

Klitschko’s record sits at an impressive 64-3. The fight was the first loss for Jennings, whose record now sits at an admirable 91-1. Jennings was paid $1,250,000 for the fight and received favorable publicity for taking on the world champ.

 

I am convinced I can beat Klitschko (Hayden Panettiere Klitschko that is - what is she, like 4 feet 11 inches tall (LOL). I’m just teasing. Actually, I could beat Wladimir Klitschko (*cough* with a brick). I would win the fight for the simple reason I am not afraid to hit below the belt and look the ref in the face and say “My hand slipped…5 times.” Not only would Wladimir take an L (loss), so would Hayden as a result of me hitting him below the belt (think about that). Once again, I am kidding.

Klitschko is next expected to face undefeated champs, Britain’s Tyson Fury (24-0) and or America’s Deontay Wilder (33-0). Either fight or both would be good for boxing. Wilder vs. Jennings would also be a good fight, as they are two well matched heavyweights.

The IBF declared American pugilist, Timothy Bradley, the mandatory Amir Khan must fight in an eliminator bout, where the winner would take on undefeated welterweight titleholder, Kell Brook. Khan declined the fight in a move that has tongues wagging. Bradley beat Filipino legend, Manny Pacquiao, due to controversial scoring, but was defeated in the subsequent rematch.

Fellow British boxer, Kell Brook, has been requesting a fight against Khan, but he has repeatedly dodged him at every turn. Brook and his team offered Khan $7,500,000 for a May 2015 title fight at London’s famed Wembley stadium, but he declined. Last week, Khan announced he would instead fight American boxer, Chris Algieri, who was recently defeated by Pacquiao.

Brook became angry at the announcement stating, "If someone said to me you can get five million quid, a world title, fight at Wembley with a fight that every fan wants to see, it's a no-brainer for me. He's fighting Algieri who didn't win a round against Pacquiao, a feather puncher, not a big puncher. It doesn't make sense to me. I'm world champion, I'm calling him out, we want the fight, there's a word title and a bagful of money and it doesn't make sense that he's fighting this guy who's bringing nothing to the table."

Brook believes Khan's declination of the fight against him does not make sense. However, to Khan it does and for this reason. Khan wants to fight top dogs Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao, as they are the most famous in the division, guaranteeing the biggest payday as well. In boxing it is a big deal to be able to state you fought Mayweather and or Pacquiao. Those are historic bragging rights. If Khan loses to undefeated Brook, his chances of fighting the retiring Mayweather or resurgent Pacquiao are greatly diminished. They will seek to fight Brook instead.

Fighting formerly undefeated Algieri is less of a risk. Pacquiao gave a road map on how to beat Algieri in his recent win against him and Khan will use that blueprint. There is no blueprint for beating Brook, as he is undefeated. There exists too much risk for Khan to fight Brook at this time due to these facts (even though the Judiciary Report is of the belief Brook vs. Khan in London this summer would be a fantastic fight that deserves to be made).

As stated in past articles, in boxing all it takes is one punch to mess up a career (then comes the arduous but workable rebuilding after such a defeat). Brook needs to focus on getting an audience with Mayweather and or Pacquiao and not wait around for Khan. Try to get a fight with the legends as well.

IBF Confirms Khan Turned Down Bradley Title Eliminator

Amir Khan, 30-3 (19 KOs), has turned down an eliminator against Tim Bradley that would have determined who became the mandatory for the IBF welterweight title, currently held by Kell Brook. Khan, 28, had previously reached out to Boxing Scene to categorically refute the claims. However, the IBF Championships Chairman confirmed that Khan had indeed been offered the fight with Bradley and that it had been rejected on his behalf by his team. The world's highest earning boxer, Floyd "Money May" Mayweather, is paying his personal chef $1,000 per plate in the lead up to his highly anticipated fight against Filipino star, Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. That's $184,000 for 46 days work. Chef Q, born Quiana Jeffries, has been flown in from North Hollywood, California to Mayweather's residence in Las Vegas, Nevada to exclusively cook for him until his May 2, 2015 bout against Pacquiao.

Chef Q, who is on call 24-hours a day stated, "My daily schedule for Floyd is ‘There is no schedule’...I am here for him anytime. 24 hours, 7 days a week. If he needs me at 3 am, I am there cooking up breakfast. Also, we are really big on juicing right now...So if Floyd wants something to drink, it’s juiced through organic fruits." Mayweather was known to drop $10,000 per month at his favorite sushi restaurant in Las Vegas.

Food News 3/17/2015 - Floyd Mayweather is not someone you should learn to budget from. Of course, if your nickname was “Money” too, things might be different. There are probably few other more expensive ways to prepare for a fight than by hiring a private, on-call 24/7 chef to prepare healthy $1,000 meals for you.

Mayweather hired California-born Chef Q, real name Quiana Jeffries, who served as executive chef at Soul Dog in North Hollywood, California and is also affiliated with caterer Chefism. But until the May 2 Pacquiao/Mayweather fight, she is “The Chef that’s Beastin in Floyd Mayweather’s Kitchen,” according to her Instagram.   

Chef Q told TMZ Sports that she doesn’t even normally charge $1,000 a plate, but Mayweather “felt my dishes were worth that much.” Chef Q is cooking up an estimated four meals a day for 46 days until the fight, so she’ll be raking in about $184,000 in total. “He’s always been mindful of what he eats but there is something different about this fight.”...

There was a complaint in the press from Pacquiao’s trainer, Freddie Roach, who stated Mayweather’s manager, Al Haymon, a former successful music industry concert promoter, turned boxing magnate, has been paying people not to spar with him.

Roach contends regarding Haymon, “I’m hiring sparring partners, Al Haymon’s people calls them up and offers more money for them not to come. I‘m not worried about those guys.” Haymon has not responded to Roach’s allegations.

Mayweather v. Pacquiao is being billed as the fight of the century and can easily live up to the title. Mayweather and Pacquiao have been doing press rounds in support of the fight, as well as making a commercial to promote it. Everyone involved in the deal is set to make huge sums of money in what promises to be a special sporting event.

Ukrainian boxer, Wladimir Klitschko, 37, has retained his four heavyweight titles (WBA, IBF, WBO and IBO) by defeating Australian challenger, Alex Leapai, 34. Klitschko floored Leapai one minute into the fight, but he got back up and kept fighting. However, Klitschko stopped Leapai in the fifth round with a TKO, bringing an end to the bout. Klitschko landed 147 punches. Leapai landed 10. Leapai had 30 wins, 24 of which were knockouts, which is a good track record. 

 

After Klitschko’s victory, as usual, some critics stated the standard “he only fights bums” which is unfair to competitors who’d flog every single critic without trying. It’s like they want boxers to fight Godzilla or sharks. If a boxer has accumulated enough impressive wins to challenge another worthy opponent, why criticize. Talent should not be rushed, but rather given the opportunity to develop. 

I am reminded of Mike Tyson knocking out fighters left, right and center in his hay day, making it look so easy. However, Tyson had a grueling training regimen and diet that 99 percent of people would not undertake, but that’s how he received such exceptional results in the ring, making it look effortless and easy. Therefore, give credit where credit is due. Athletes work hard and the harder they work, the easier they make it look when it’s showtime. 

American heavyweight Shannon Briggs, continues to follow and taunt Klitschko, demanding a fight. As previously written in the Judiciary Report, Briggs followed Klitschko to a South Florida press conference, taunted and threw his shoe at him. Briggs also made an appearance at the weigh-in for the Klitschko v. Leapai bout. In Britain, Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora are scheduled to square off in July for an opportunity to take on Klitschko in the ring. Briton, Anthony Joshua and American, Deontay Wilder, AKA the Bronze Bomber, also seek to challenge Klitschko in the ring.
