Nick Denton And Michael Barrett Skid Into Bankruptcy Over Perverted Voyeurism In Secretly Spying On Others Via Video

Hulk Hogan

The financial price of being perverts is hitting home with Gawker's Nick Denton and perverse private citizen, Michael Barrett, who are in bankruptcy court in separate cases over massive multi-million dollar financial judgments being levied against them. Denton illegally uploaded secretly recorded video of wrestler Hulk Hogan having sex with Heather Clem. Barrett stalked, hacked off the peephole of the hotel suite sportscaster Erin Andrews stayed in while on assignment for the ESPN network, used his mobile phone camera to secretly record her naked in the room, then uploaded it to the internet like a real degenerate.

Nick Denton

Denton and his company Gawker were hit with a $140,000,000 court judgment. Denton is liable for a portion of the judgment. Hence, Denton preparing to file personal bankruptcy. However, if other cases serve as an example, it will not benefit Denton much in a personal filing. Here's why. Barrett was hit with a $27,000,000 judgment from the Andrews civil case. The bankruptcy court has already ruled Barrett cannot discharge the court debt under his filing.

Erin Andrews

Therefore, Barrett is still indebted to Andrews, who can garnish his wages until every dime is paid ($27,000,000). Barrett complained it is difficult obtaining work being a felon, as he served time for the criminal offense. However, Barrett created the situation he is currently in via his illegal conduct. Other felons have found work and so can he. Every time his paycheck is docked to pay Andrews, he can remember how he destroyed her life, as she has to live with what he did in violating her privacy in a very sick way.

Michael Barrett

In closing, all voyeurs should face prison time and hefty fines. It is a sick crime perpetrated by sexual predators and sex offenders. It is extremely sick and deranged to secretly watch someone in their home, hotel room, toilets or anywhere else privacy is to be expected. It is a sign of serious mental illness that is a danger to the public.

Bankruptcy Judge Denies Gawker's Efforts to Shield Nick Denton from Hulk Hogan

July 19, 2016 3:07pm PT - A rejected injunction motion likely means personal bankruptcy for the Gawker founder. A rejected injunction motion likely means personal bankruptcy for the Gawker founder. Gawker founder Nick Denton appears headed for personal bankruptcy after a bankruptcy judge on Tuesday refused to stop Hulk Hogan's collection pursuits. Denton had hoped that Gawker's Chapter 11 bankruptcy filed on June 10 would give him temporary relief from his portion of a $140 million judgment in favor of Hogan, who prevailed in an invasion-of-privacy lawsuit over the posting of a sex tape...

Denton, who has gotten a $200,000 loan and has at least prepared bankruptcy papers, may now move quickly to file for personal bankruptcy so as to take advantage of an automatic stay that will result in pausing Hogan's collection pursuits. Denton has testified that his main assets are Gawker stock holdings and his New York City apartment, which he recently listed for sale...

Erin Andrews’s Stalker Must Pay $28 Million From Lawsuit Despite Bankruptcy, Judge Rules

July 12, 2016 - The man who secretly filmed Erin Andrews in a Nashville hotel room through a peephole in 2008 must pay the $28 million awarded to Andrews by a jury despite the fact that he is bankrupt, PEOPLE confirms. Judge Trish Brown of the U.S. Bankruptcy court in Oregon ruled that the damages owed by Michael David Barrett are “non-dischargeable,” according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. Barrett was ordered to pay 51 percent of the $55 million awarded to Andrews in damages in March. Barrett filed for bankruptcy in Oregon, where he lives, in 2012. Previously, he had served two years in prison after pleading guilty to interstate stalking of Andrews in 2009...

Celebrity Couple Tisha Campbell And Duane Martin File $15,000,000 Bankruptcy

Tisha Campbell-Martin and Duane Martin

Actress Tisha Campbell-Martin of the 1990s sitcom "The Martin Lawrence Show" and her husband, Duane Martin, of the BET comedy "Real Househusband Of Hollywood" have filed for bankruptcy. The couple make a combined $7,655 per month. However, their debts are $16,953 per month. The couple is also claiming in the bankruptcy filing that they have less than $400 in cash.

While they have been in several successful entertainment projects, it is quite jarring that they've accumulated $15,000,000 in debt, as the standard pay for the types of television shows and movie projects they have appeared in, do not pay the type of money to substantiate those kinds of loans.

Among the couple's top creditors and what they are owed, "$3 million to Broadway Federal Bank for a personal guaranty for a real estate loan they took out, $9.5 million to the City of Los Angeles for a personal guaranty, $82,000 in back state taxes for 2005 & 2011, $86,000 to New York State Department of Taxation and $30,000 to the State Board of Equalization."

Bankrupt Rapper 50 Cent Struggling To Sell Mansion For 8-Years Drastically Drops The Price Of House

50 Cent lying under oath in what is a crime

Bankrupt rapper 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, has been struggling to sell his $18,500,000 Farmington, Connecticut mansion for 8-years. He has repeatedly dropped the price, to where it currently sits at $8,500,000. However, still no one wants to buy it, as it simply is not a good value for the money.

50 Cent's mansion in Connecticut

The property is also very overdone and nouveau riche, thanks to the changes he made to the mansion (a disco and casino, among other things). If a potential buyer cannot get past gaudy items the home owner has installed, they will not envision themself buying the property. It's always a good idea to use good taste when renovating and decorating a home.

50 Cent's mansion in Connecticut

In spite of the fact 50 Cent is currently in bankruptcy court, trying to illegally dodge two lawsuit judgments obtained against him, he has been showing off his soon-to-be-completed mansion in Africa. However, said asset should be subject to bankruptcy court proceedings, as he owes many creditors.

Another Boxer Sues To Leave 50 Cent's Failed SMS Boxing Promotions Company With Others Motioning To Do The Same

Canelo Alvarez, 50 Cent and boxer James Kirkland

Boxer, Yuriorkis Gamboa, has sued to leave SMS boxing promotions, owned by bankrupt rapper, 50 Cent. A few months ago, boxer James Kirkland, also sued to get out of his contract with the failed company. Gamboa states in a court filing that 50 Cent, real name, Curtis Jackson, has failed to secure the promised number of fights per year. This means Gamboa is not earning much money and valuable, important years of his boxing career and youth are being wasted at SMS.

50 Cent

The Judiciary Report has warned for years via articles that entertainers and athletes should get the right team, seeking contractually retained representatives, who have great contacts and a vast knowledge of business. You have to make the most of your opportunities in sports while you are young, as it will set the most favorable foundation for your growth. While being in your 30s is not considered old, in sports it is deemed so. Mayweather and Pacquiao, performing in top condition and making huge sums of money in their late thirties is not the norm in sports. They are the exception to the rule.

Yuriorkis Gamboa

Maximize your career in sports while you are young and fit. Most athletes will tell you, when you hit 30, your body will change regarding athleticism. You start to feel aches and pains more after training. The body also starts to slow down athletically. You can't waste years of your career with someone who does not know what they are doing, diddling around trying to figure things out or making it up as they go along (i.e. Jay Z's Roc Nation Sports/Boxing and 50 Cent's SMS). You need sharp, intelligent, experienced businesspeople with connections, who can get you where you need to be as quickly as possible, then you can build on your success at a greater rate.

Boxing Star to 50 Cent YOU FAILED ME Lemme Outta My Damn Contract

9/30/2015 2:26 PM PDT- Another huge blow to 50 Cent's boxing promotion company -- because the organization's biggest boxing star, Yuriorkis Gamboa, officially wants out ... TMZ Sports has learned. The former WBA and IBF featherweight champ says he's had issues with SMS Promotions for months ... claiming the company was contractually obligated to deliver 3 fights per year ever since he came on board in 2012 ... but SMS has FAILED miserably.

In fact, Gamboa only fought once in 2013, twice in 2014 ... and has no fights in 2015. It's all outlined in court docs filed by Gamboa in Connecticut and obtained by TMZ Sports ...in which Gamboa says his team contacted SMS to negotiate the termination of his contract earlier this year, but he got no response. Now, he wants a judge to force 50's company to answer the phone and let Gamboa know if they're gonna let him go ... or try to deliver the fights...

Is 50 Cent Abusing The Bankruptcy Court After Filing Then Going To The Strip Club Throwing Money At Strippers

50 Cent

Rapper, 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, has been the butt of many jokes on social networking this week, for previously making fun of many rappers he referred to as broke, only to file bankruptcy for himself and his boxing company SMS. The rapper is not happy with the jokes and sent out a warning that he is keeping track of people who are making fun of his financial predicament. However, he did this to other entertainers when they were having money issues. What goes around comes around.

50 Cent has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, which is to reorganize his debts, provide 6-months of protection from creditors and to have portions of his debt wiped out via court order. When one petitions the bankruptcy court, one must be honest and forthcoming about the state of one's finances. So it came as no surprise when social networking questioned the fact 50 Cent filed bankruptcy, then days later went to the strip club throwing money at ho..., uh, I mean strippers. It's not a matter of how much money he spent at the strip club, but the fact he filed bankruptcy then did this, disrespects the court. It's the principle of it. If he's not careful, the bankruptcy trustee is going to heavily scrutinize his filing and could deny him protection.

Lastonia Leviston

The main items 50 Cent is trying to dodge are the two lawsuits he lost in court, after juries sided with the Plaintiffs in each legal action. In the case Sleek Audio v. Jackson (50 Cent), he was slapped with a $17,200,000 judgment for stealing the company's headphones after they were pitched to him and renamed it SMS Audio. In the case Leviston v. Jackson (50 Cent), the rapper was ordered to pay, Lastonia Leviston, who is the mother of Rick Ross' child, $5,000,000 for posting to his site a private sex tape she made with her boyfriend. Based on reports, 50 Cent also maliciously added inappropriate comments to the video.

The whole thing was aimed at hurting Ross. However, Leviston has a child, who will have to deal with the fact an illegally released sex tape of his mom is on the internet. Not to mention the trauma she went through when she realized 50 Cent uploaded the video to the internet without her consent. 50 Cent deserved to be slapped with the $5,000,000 judgment, if not for Leviston, for her child.

Side Bar: When singer, Toni Braxton, filed for bankruptcy (twice), it was after she legitimately earned her money, but overspent on the first go around. The second time she had taken on a big debt load, seeking to pay for it with a very lucrative residency in Las Vegas, but fell ill. Each time the bankruptcy court seized some of Braxton's belongings and sold them to pay her creditors. 50 Cent should not be treated differently, as he caused other people financial and emotional injury via unlawful behavior, leading to lawsuits and verdicts against him.

Lil Fizz's Mean Ex-Girlfriend Amanda Secor Says He's On Welfare And Sleeping In A Bed With Roaches And Ants

Amanda Secor and Lil Fizz. She resents Fizz trying to get her to help him with his little son Kameron.

Rapper, Lil Fizz, formerly of the R&B boy band, B2K, who currently stars on “Love And Hip Hop Hollywood” was the subject of a jealous and mean online tirade, by ex-girlfriend, Amanda Secor. Jealous Fizz refused to put up with her cheating and began dating co-star, Nikki Mudarris, Amanda slammed him as being on welfare and sleeping in a bed of ants and cockroaches at his mother's house. She also ominously threatened to spill more details about him, after he called her a thot (that h*e over there).

Amanda also insulted rival, Nikki, stating Fizz privately stated he didn’t know how he would handle her surgically enhanced butt. She also claims Nikki left Fizz and went back to her ex-boyfriend, Mally Mall, who cheated on her. However, Fizz posted a beautiful birthday cake on his Instagram page on Thursday, which he thanked Nikki for (then deleted shortly after). They clearly still like each other.

Amanda posted on Instagram, "Dreux wants to call me a 'THOT' when he's the one being thirsty and will do ANY & everything for some damn attention. He talked so much s**t about Nikki and her body, but now he wants to date her? She went back to her MAN cuz he's a little boy. He can't bring a 'bad b***h' back to his mom's house to sleep in a bed full of ants roaches- which is why I wouldn't move in w/ him... He damn sure can't do s**t for her with his EBT card. I know the real Dreux not 'lil fizz' if he was doing what he was supposed to do, I wouldn't have looked elsewhere. He better think about what else I know before he decides to disrespect me again."

Nikki Mudarris

At least Nikki was not after his fame or using him for the money he had and is beginning to make again. During the time Fizz was with Amanda, he did have his condo and cars. Nikki dated and stayed with Fizz for a while, benefiting from his money and fame. However, when he hit financial trouble, she began cheating on him with a man in Miami.

Contrary to what Amanda claims, in stating she did not know who he or his group B2K were when she met him, you’d have to be living under a rock to not know who they are in America. Fizz's fans on social networking do not believe her.

Amanda is slamming Fizz, trying to downgrade him, stating he is on welfare, yet dated him for the past two years. Why were you with him then. You weren't complaining when he was buying you gifts before he went bankrupt. If you loved him, you would work with him. You would help him get back on his feet. Sometimes people go through hard times in life and it will reveal your true friends and who actually loves you. People always want the finished product, not caring about or contributing to the development of their significant other.

Lil Fizz and Nikki Mudarris on a date

A year ago, the Judiciary Report wrote about Fizz’s financial problems, when he filed for bankruptcy. He made roughly $1,000,000 with B2K, but the group quickly disbanded. However, there's taxes to the IRS, mortgage payments and maintenance fees on the $250,000 condo he bought in California. He also had car notes to pay for the vehicles he purchased, with accompanying insurance payments. Fizz was also an investor in a medical marijuana shop, but problems arose with the business. Bankruptcy released him from his debts and he surrendered the condo back to the bank, under the insolvency filing and moved back in with his mother. He's one of many this has happened to in life. However, you deal with it and rebuild.

To live off his B2K earnings for 13-years proved difficult, as it was a group with three other members to split royalties and performance fees with and only three albums were release over the course of 3-years. It generated profits, but not enough to last a lifetime without proper financial planning and a viable secondary business. Entertainers and athletes can't solely rely on their main job for income, as the respective industries can be quite difficult to financially navigate.

Chris Brown’s Manager Goes Broke And Loses His Mansion

Chris Brown: Wait, so you're telling me this dude is broke! This dude's got my checks, man!

Music manager, Bu Thiam, the brother of rapper, Akon, has lost his Atlanta mansion to foreclosure. Thiam, who recently began managing singer, Chris Brown, was unable to pay his property taxes and his house was auctioned off by the court. Some in the industry will reason, if a music manager loses his home to foreclosure, unable to pay basic property taxes, how can he secure lucrative financial deals for clients, when he cannot manage his own finances.

Chris Brown

Additionally, for months some of Chris Brown’s fans spoke out online against Bu managing the star. Their concerns will not be allayed when they find out Brown's checks go through Bu first, who takes his cut, then passes on the rest to the singer.

Bu Thiam

Bu’s brother Akon is also having financial problems. His $300,000 Ferrari was repossessed by the leasing company, for missing payments. Years ago, Akon made money off music for a time, but like many stars, began living the high life and did not save for a rainy day, believing money would always be coming in. It often does not work that way. Akon’s career hit a major decline, as many entertainers experience and he found himself in debt and overextended.

B2K Rapper Lil Fizz Goes Broke

Lil Fizz

A recent report indicates B2K rapper, Lil Fizz, real name, Dreux Pierre Frédéric, 28, filed for bankruptcy and surrendered his $215,000 condo back to the bank in the proceedings. The former teen group B2K burst onto the scene in 2001 with the hit “Uh Huh!” It was quickly followed by the hit “Gots Ta Be.” The group embarked on “Scream” tours throughout America with fellow artists Bow Wow and IMX, which drew large crowds.

Lil Fizz

The group disbanded after a few short years and with the exception of group member Omarion, no significant money has been coming in to support the members. Better financial planning would have benefited the group. When the first checks start coming in artists must think ahead and make wise investments, such as a moderately priced home and CDs (certificate of deposit) to save for a rainy day.

B2K

Lil Fizz bought a condo and three costly cars. The latter led to financial problems. Paying off the condo should have been first priority and the car payments for several vehicles could have accomplished that. Fizz was also sued over a marijuana shop in California, where the state assessed fines. His earning ability was also limited after B2K closed shop, as his solo career did not take off.

Chris Stokes

His problems were compounded, as there was also turmoil behind the scenes in the group. Allegations of molestation by the group’s producer Chris Stokes, caused quite a stir. For years Stokes has sent me legal threats at the Judiciary Report over articles on the subject. However, he doesn’t want me in a court room telling that judge what I know. However, I hope the FBI, who reads this website everyday investigates him.

Toni Braxton Bounces Back From Bankruptcy With $3,000,000 House Purchase As Justin Bieber's New Neighbor

Justin Bieber To Toni Braxton: Can I Borrow A Cup Of Weed, I Mean Sugar

Toni Braxton

19-year-old pop star Justin Bieber has put The Oaks gated community in Calabasas, California on the map, due to high profile incidents that have occurred there regarding the beleaguered singer. Well, now he has company. Grammy Award winning songstress, Toni Braxton, has just bought the house next to him. Don't worry, Bieber won't mind that one of his fellow black people has moved in beside him (LOL).

Toni Braxton's new home in The Oaks

According to TMZ, Braxton purchased a 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom 5,323 square foot house a few doors down from the Biebs. This is a financial comeback for Braxton, who lost her beautiful, significantly bigger Atlanta, Georgia mansion last year to foreclosure and auction. This quick purchase and fast financial turnaround also confirms the Judiciary Report's August 16, 2013 article Source: Toni Braxton Is Not Broke.

At the height of her fame in the 1990s, Braxton live din Los Angeles, but returned to Atlanta, where her former label LaFace Records was based.

George Zimmerman Is Broke And $2.5 Million In Debt

George Zimmerman in court on felony assault charges

For a while crime paid for George Zimmerman, the 28-year-old neighborhood watchman who stalked and murdered innocent 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in cold blood for looking like he did not belong in the area. This week it is being stated Zimmerman is $2,500,000 in debt, owing lawyer Mark O’Mara, who quit for personal reasons, said sum for getting him off murder charges he should have been imprisoned for.

Donations poured in to Zimmerman totaling over $500,000 from gun lobbyists who sought to defend his right to use a gun. However, the Trayvon Martin murder was never about that. It was a hate crime committed by Zimmerman, whose record of calls to 911 to report allegedly suspicious behavior reveals a man complaining to the authorities about African Americans age 7 and up which is insane.

After Zimmerman attacked his wife’s dad and threatened their lives via motioning for his gun, gun lobbyists began backing away from him and the flow of donations slowed. He should not have been given that money in the first place. It should have gone to reputable charities.

Samantha Scheibe

Now Zimmerman is in trouble again for choking his girlfriend Samantha Scheibe, physically pushing her out of her home and destroying some of her furniture. Zimmerman has been very controlling with Scheibe and also threatened her life, which is something she should not take lightly. Though the judge ordered Zimmerman to stay away from Scheibe, he probably will not.

Before Zimmerman was tried for the murder of Trayvon Martin and unjustly acquitted, the Judiciary Report stated he fits the profile of a stalker (George Zimmerman Fits The Profile Of A Stalker). Since that time, his conduct towards his wife, father-in-law and girlfriend support the site’s claims. He is vengeful, hateful and bitter believing everyone must do what he says or there will be violent consequences when he stalks and confronts them.

As someone who is a victim of aggravated stalking, I can attest, it is an egregious violation of a person’s right to privacy, peace of mind and safety. It is disrespectful, demeaning and degrading, as one is insanely being viewed as prey by a sick person who belongs behind bars. Learn to give people their space and not hound, harass or try to harm them. The sad fact of the matter is according to statistics an overwhelming number of stalking victims end up killed by their stalkers if the justice system does not intervene.

Bill Clinton States President Obama Needs To Work On Obamacare To Help Millions Who've Lost Health Insurance Because Of It

Obama: "What you talking about" Bill!

Former President Bill Clinton stated current Commander-in-Chief, Barack Obama, needs to work on serious deficiencies within his Obamacare health care program, as millions of Americans have been dropped from their current plans, creating significant stress. President Obama previously promised this would not happened, but had to apologize when it did within weeks of the Obamacare website launch that became a fiasco. The site still is not fixed at this time.

Bill Clinton: honor your commitment Obama!

Many Americans are complaining of losing reasonably priced health insurance and being saddled with Obamacare policies with far higher monthly premiums they simply cannot afford. If the program is to work Obamacare prices will have to come down to levels attainable by the average American, especially in a tough financial climate. If the insurance offered under Obamacare is not affordable, this could potentially bankrupt Americans, adding to the current financial crisis. In attempting to solve one problem, one must not create another.

TLC Biopic 'CrazySexyCool' Exposed As Grossly Inaccurate By People Instrumental To Their Careers

TLC
TLC’s "CrazySexyCool" biopic drew an estimated 4.5 million viewers last night, in a solid ratings showing for network VH-1. TLC stated the biopic is true and their side of the story, but today many key players in their tale are stating it was full of lies, embellishments and omissions.

For example, Crystal Jones, the original member of TLC, negatively portrayed in the film as someone who couldn't sing or dance and was kicked out after an audition for Laface Records’ CEO, L.A. Reid and his wife, singer, Pebbles, who signed and managed the group, states that is not what transpired.

Jones did an interview with the V103 radio station in Atlanta, Georgia yesterday morning stating she was in the group for a period of time, which occurred after Pebbles audition her and Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, as well as Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes at a studio in Atlanta, not the Laface offices, as the movie portrayed (see link below for radio station interview).

TLC biopic

Jones stated they would have dinner at Pebbles and L.A. Reid’s mansion and go through magazines with the platinum selling singer turned music manager, trying to put together a look for the new group. Jones states she, Watkins and Lopes were already signed to management contract with a local man named Ian Burke, who also made an appearance on the radio show, but Pebbles and Reid got them out of the legal agreement.

Jones stated when they went to a meeting to sign with Pebbles' company Pebbitone, she asked that it be postponed to furnish her with time to take the contract home to her mother to look it over, as she did not understand what they were signing. Jones stated Pebbles said, "Absolutely not" and with that she was out of the group.

Jones must have felt bad to watch them go on to fame, but she opted not to sign the contracts which were "standard" as the Judiciary Report stated prior to the release of the movie, which was also confirmed in the film as the term "standard" was used in the biopic to describe the legal agreement.

Most new artists receive a standard management and then recording contract. The royalty rate is average and the terms totally stacked in favor of the record label, production or management company. Once the first CD is a hit, artists have leverage to renegotiate better terms, such as a higher royalty rate and bigger financial advances to make projects.

TLC during their CrazySexyCool days

Many artists only spend a certain amount of their advance to make the record, while keeping the rest for themselves. One of my friends, who is a rapper, used some of his advance to buy a house. He's one of the smarter ones. Some rappers use the left over money from their advance to buy jewelry, diamond studded grills (to go over their teeth) or expensive cars that quickly depreciate. But back to the movie...

The fact of the matter is when Pebbles need a replacement for Jones, her cheating, deceitful husband, L.A. Reid, unbeknownst to her at the time, brought his mistress to her, Rozanda Thomas who became "Chilli." Thomas was a back-up dancer for Laface’s first group Damian Dame, who had the hits "Exclusivity" and "Right Down To It." The main reason L.A., the most vocally opposed to Jones wanted her out, was to get his mistress "Chilli" in, who he had made promises to regarding what he could do for her in exchange for sex. With her in TLC, she'd be even closer by for their sexual fling.

All of this was conveniently left out of the movie, because Chilli and L.A. Reid had a hand in making the film. They were onset as consultants. That was a nasty thing for Reid to do to the mother of his child. For Chilli to pretend she is this angel cheated on by Austin, when she was sleeping with him and other industry men, some of them married, in trying to become famous, was wrong and hypocritical.

For Chilli to do promo rounds last week trying to stir up controversy for the film in order to get viewers, dissing people with mean digs and that fake laugh, while pretending she was a victim of Pebbles picking on her, when she was sleeping with the woman’s husband, is foul and fake.

TLC today

What woman in her right mind would be happy about another woman secretly sleeping with her husband, while she's investing time and money in said person becoming a star. That was a betrayal. Unless Chilli is going to tell the truth, she needs to be quiet. Ironically, when it came back to Chilli with Dallas Austin, then Usher cheating on her, she couldn't take it. She became angry and slammed them.

Other players left out of the film are Jermaine Dupri and Rico Wade, two producers who became big at the time and aided with TLC’s look and sound, molding them after the hit male R&B trio BBD. TLC owes a lot to BBD, as that's who they are based on. They were BBD clones.

Anybody in the industry, especially in the South, who knows the truth about TLC’s story knows the film is not entirely truthful. Some of it is true, but some of it is not. Pebbles money, connections, experience and tutelage got TLC out there. She even named the group. Without her there would have been no TLC. LaFace and Arista's market share granted the group extensive promotion, marketing and access to radio and television. Without them there would have been no TLC. People like Chilli trying to diminish these facts stating destiny created the group is  illogical.

However, the Judiciary Report concedes, TLC should not have been broke, but due to the standard contracts they initially had, then leaving Pebbles and racking up massive debts with LaFace and Arista via ridiculously high production budgets for songs and videos, with a new, slightly above average royalty rate, they were bound to be bankrupt.

Pebbles and Chilli recently, shortly before the release of the TLC biopic, working together on an Essence talent search program.

They can't blame all of this on Pebbles. LaFace and Arista are the biggest culprits, who took most of the money. Even after the girls learned the industry for their second album, had their own legal representation and new management, they were still spending too much money on projects and it bankrupted them.

To have one video alone cost $2,000,000 to $3,000,000 ("Waterfalls") meant you would hit financial trouble, as that is coming off the top of your profits, as money the record companies loaned you that must first be repaid before you the artist sees a dime. Add another $5,000,000 for producing an entire CD made by top producers and songwriters, 4 more expensive videos, promotion, marketing, travel costs, lawyers and managers and you're bankrupt. That's what happened.

To tell the story and omit key players and facts was not wise, as it affects credibility. To lie and embellish aspects of a biopic of all things, for television also calls one's integrity into question. One cannot use creative or poetic license in a biopic. Then it becomes a fictionalized lie.

The TV Movie "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story" Left Out A Lot Of Things...

From left to right: Drew Sidora, Keke Palmer and rapper Lil Mama - the actresses playing the music group TLC in the TV biopic "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story"

The VH-1 TV Movie "CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story" about the 1990s Atlanta musical trio signed to LaFace Records, didn't match the pre-release hype leading to its showing last night. However, the movie was sad. The trailer for the movie did it no favors, as it was cheesy. The movie was not as cheesy as the trailer, but the actresses did not do a good job with the dance moves.

VH-1 spent a lot of money recreating the group's music videos, public appearances and interviews. This aspect of the movie was authentic. I still maintain the casting for the film was not right, as most of the actors and actresses, save for Drew Sidora as Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins, do not resemble the individuals they portray.

Lionel Martin, TLC, L.A., Babyface and Pebbles on the video set of "Ain't Too Proud To Beg"

TLC's creator and former manager, Pebbles, threatened to sue if the movie defamed her, after group members Watkins and Rozanda "Chilli" Thomas took to the airwaves in a radio interview with  Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club. The radio interview was far worse than the film, regarding claims about Pebbles.

Irrespective of that, Pebbles was not portrayed in a positive light in the movie as the person who "ripped off" TLC. The fact of the matter is they had a standard contract with Pebbles, but LaFace and Arista took the lion's share of the profits. So much so, TLC even acknowledged in the movie that after they pushed Pebbles out of the picture they were still having financial troubles (coincidentally, Pebbles gained 10,000 new followers on Twitter after the movie aired).

TLC, L.A. Reid and Pebbles

Several items were left out of this film, such as who truly became rich off TLC. It was hilarious, but bad when TLC went to the Clive Davis' office, the CEO of Arista, with a group of female thugs in tow, demanding money (they tried to pull a Suge Knight but it backfired - Knight famously went to Eazy-E and separately Vanilla Ice with thugs and threatened to beat them to a pulp over royalties and releasing artists).

Davis called security, tried to calm them down, then cut the group an itty bitty check that left them disappointed. Arista made several hundred million dollars off TLC. The next in line for the most profits was LaFace (L.A. Reid and Babyface). Then Pebbles, whose cut pales in comparison to what the labels received.

TLC's look for their debut CD

This is where the TLC money went. Pebbles was right, she was the "fall guy" in this scandal, but she never should have went to LaFace with TLC and followed her original plan of going straight to MCA Records with the group, the label that released her CDs for years.

In the film Pebbles referred to Chilli as "loose" which looked out of place as they conveniently left out the background information on what she stated this. Chilli was accused of having sex with Pebbles' husband, which is how she got and remained in the group in the first place. They prettied that up for television. Chilli is also known for having sex with a number of industry men. That was conveniently left out of the film.

TLC

L.A. Reid was made out to be a levelheaded angel in this flick when he is know for getting into contentious arguments with people. He's also known for ripping off partner Babyface (which was left out of the movie) as well as TLC (also left out of the film) as he had a hand in the making of the movie.

My mom and I met one of L.A.'s relatives in Atlanta about 10-years ago while on vacation. His relative is a decent person of integrity, who is very nice. L.A.'s relative is the cousin of one of my longtime friends in Miami, who worked at EMI Records for years and she introduced us to her.

L.A. and Babyface

L.A.'s relative expressed her disappointment at the demise of his marriage to Pebbles stating, "He kept cheating on her with different women" (typical industry man). One of the women is Chilli, as later supported by a radio interview that aired in Atlanta several years ago.

In the movie L.A. even referred to Chilli as "the pretty one representing R&B" which drew a displeased look from his wife Pebbles. Chilli and L.A. need to drop the innocent act. It was a terrible betrayal. L.A. who remarried after divorcing Pebbles, still is not faithful in marriage or money matters.

TLC

Music producer Dallas Austin was also portrayed in a very negative light in the film, but he's always been known as a ladies man. In the 1990s, the guy had a list of chicks he wanted to have sex with and was going down the list. He's promiscuous just like Chilli. They are alike in that respect.

Why was Chilli surprised at Austin's conduct when she's the same way. If you're making a biopic, keep it real, even if it makes you look bad. However, only one was made out to be the hero and the other the sexual villain for the film. Austin took the brunt of it and Chilli was wrongly made out to be so innocent.

Pebbles and Chilli in 2011 after they had become friends again (at least, so Pebbles thought)

The late Left Eye was a member of the Hollywood "Illuminati" and like many of the members of the sect she died early in life. Left Eye espoused their unscientific, illogical astrological beliefs about what dates projects can be released or life events must occur, as it had to line up with the stars. This is all superstitious rubbish (as seen in the TLC movie during the scene featuring Left Eye crying in the bathroom).

Left Eye (center) emphasizing her left eye in a manner that represents the "Illuminati" Eye of Horus, the Satanic Hollywood cult, who believes in the occult and human sacrifices

She took the nickname Left Eye after the Eye of Horus, underlining and emphasizing it with a black line in tribute to the "Illuminati" cult. IN many photos she would cover one eye, another practice of the "Illuminati" cult. They also made her very crazy (hence being the "Crazy" in "CrazySexyCool") much like members of the cult now, such as Britney Spears, Amanda Bynes, Lindsay Lohan, Rihanna, Mischa Barton, Demi Lovato, among others (Hollywood Cult Before And After Photos).

The mere fact Left Eye burned down boyfriend Andre Rison's house is indicative of the mental illness she suffered from like other "Illuminati" members. In fact, Amanda Bynes was committed to a psych ward after she tried to set someone's driveway on fire. It's a trademark of schizophrenics.

TLC today

Left Eye's death was eerie as just weeks prior to her passing, she hit and killed a young boy in Honduras in a car accident. Years prior it was reported she caused the death of an infant in Atlanta, Georgia. Left eye jumped out of a moving car on a hill without putting the break on, leaving a mother and infant, who were passengers, to jump out of the vehicle, which killed the child.

The incident marked two tragic child deaths in car related incidents involving Left Eye. It's ironic that Left Eye's wild and erratic driving ended up causing her own death, when she swerved a SUV loaded with people off the road, hitting her head and dying from the injury while in Honduras.

Lisa Lopes and Tionne Watkins (left and center) were originally apart of a group called 2nd Nature with Crystal (right) who was kicked out in favor of Chilli, when L.A. Reid decided she must go

Side Bar: this movie mentioned an Aisha spotting Dalvin from Jodeci cheating on Tionne Watkins. For the record, that had nothing to do with me. The only time I ever saw Tionne and Dalvin was in a mall in Miami. They looked me in the face and I didn't say a word. Other than that, I don't know either one of them.

Source: Toni Braxton Is Not Broke

Toni Braxton

Star magazine has been reporting that award winning singer Toni Braxton is broke and homeless, living with her sister and brother-in-law. However, a source informed me that Braxton is not broke. Said source responsible for some of my exclusives revealed she certainly isn't as rich as she once was but she is "stashing money."

Braxton is attempting to rebuild her life after a divorce and bankruptcy. However, Braxton needs to focus on her health, as she has lupus. Hectic industry schedules and an autoimmune disease do not mix. Take time out for yourself.

Toni Braxton Loses The Copyrights To Her Songs

"Another Sad Love Song" Indeed

Toni Braxton

Singer Toni Braxton's second bankruptcy is proving more damaging than the first a decade ago. She had an agreement with the bankruptcy court that she could buy back the copyrights to her songs for a minimum of $20,000 but she must participate in the bidding process.

However, Braxton received an unexpected blow when a man named Ross M. Klein outbid her, paying $40,000 for 27 of her songs, which was a steal. Braxton reportedly earned $700,000 since filing bankruptcy. She should have used some of it to retain the rights to her music.

Claudette Ortiz Of R&B Divas LA And Her Three Children Were Homeless

'R&B Divas L.A.' (Left to right: Dawn Robinson, Lil Mo, Kelly Price, Claudette Ortiz, Chante Moore and Michel'le)

Despite having two big R&B hits with the group City High, touring and working with various artists such as Prince and Wyclef Jean, beautiful singer Claudette Ortiz became homeless, unable to properly provide for her three children. Years prior she had married fellow group member, Ryan Toby, but after 10-years of marriage it ended in divorce, for reasons she did not specify. Ortiz, who sought help from the state, spoke of the embarrassment of her case workers knowing her as a famous singer and wondering what she is doing on government assistance.

Claudette Ortiz

Ortiz told the website Bossip, ""When I [moved to LA] I had to move my children out of their school. It was a big move from East to West Coast and I had just left my four years of being at rock bottom. Four years of being ridiculed and scrutinized on the internet and four years of having to decide between one bill and the other and having to go to the social services building and you’re case worker recognizes you and says, "Why are you here?" It breaks you down so I was just coming out of that break down and rebuilding myself and trying to get back into the groove of being in spotlight and being in entertainment. That’s a sadness that I believe women do feel and it does show on your face, but you keep it moving, you don’t cry. You keep your head up and you keep going, even though you do have that consistent worry and heartbreak."

She further stated, "Prior to the show, I had really hit rock bottom and I was at a crossroads where I just had to [do the show]. All the little odd jobs that I was doing; I was a chef in the kitchen, I tried to open my own businesses, I had my catering businesses and I had a cleaning business but those things were not enough to raise my children. So, I had to make a choice of am I going to continue going this way? Where is this going? I was like man, I guess I’ll just go to the air force reserves. […] I felt like it would pay for school. I didn’t have any degree or anything so….I was having a rough night. I had to leave the place I was at, and I was driving with the things in my trunk and my kids were asleep and I had nowhere to go. And that night Phil Thorton from the show texted me but that night I was upset and I was crying. I was like "God, I know there are people out there that have it way worse than I have it but don’t forget about me. This is still difficult. That’s was when I got the text of like, do I go with the show or …. I never wanted to be apart of reality shows because I never wanted to expose my children on anything like that."
