Nick Denton And Michael Barrett Skid Into Bankruptcy Over Perverted Voyeurism In Secretly Spying On Others Via Video

Hulk Hogan

The financial price of being perverts is hitting home with Gawker's Nick Denton and perverse private citizen, Michael Barrett, who are in bankruptcy court in separate cases over massive multi-million dollar financial judgments being levied against them. Denton illegally uploaded secretly recorded video of wrestler Hulk Hogan having sex with Heather Clem. Barrett stalked, hacked off the peephole of the hotel suite sportscaster Erin Andrews stayed in while on assignment for the ESPN network, used his mobile phone camera to secretly record her naked in the room, then uploaded it to the internet like a real degenerate.

Nick Denton

Denton and his company Gawker were hit with a $140,000,000 court judgment. Denton is liable for a portion of the judgment. Hence, Denton preparing to file personal bankruptcy. However, if other cases serve as an example, it will not benefit Denton much in a personal filing. Here's why. Barrett was hit with a $27,000,000 judgment from the Andrews civil case. The bankruptcy court has already ruled Barrett cannot discharge the court debt under his filing.

Erin Andrews

Therefore, Barrett is still indebted to Andrews, who can garnish his wages until every dime is paid ($27,000,000). Barrett complained it is difficult obtaining work being a felon, as he served time for the criminal offense. However, Barrett created the situation he is currently in via his illegal conduct. Other felons have found work and so can he. Every time his paycheck is docked to pay Andrews, he can remember how he destroyed her life, as she has to live with what he did in violating her privacy in a very sick way.

Michael Barrett

In closing, all voyeurs should face prison time and hefty fines. It is a sick crime perpetrated by sexual predators and sex offenders. It is extremely sick and deranged to secretly watch someone in their home, hotel room, toilets or anywhere else privacy is to be expected. It is a sign of serious mental illness that is a danger to the public.

Bankruptcy Judge Denies Gawker's Efforts to Shield Nick Denton from Hulk Hogan

July 19, 2016 3:07pm PT - A rejected injunction motion likely means personal bankruptcy for the Gawker founder. A rejected injunction motion likely means personal bankruptcy for the Gawker founder. Gawker founder Nick Denton appears headed for personal bankruptcy after a bankruptcy judge on Tuesday refused to stop Hulk Hogan's collection pursuits. Denton had hoped that Gawker's Chapter 11 bankruptcy filed on June 10 would give him temporary relief from his portion of a $140 million judgment in favor of Hogan, who prevailed in an invasion-of-privacy lawsuit over the posting of a sex tape...

Denton, who has gotten a $200,000 loan and has at least prepared bankruptcy papers, may now move quickly to file for personal bankruptcy so as to take advantage of an automatic stay that will result in pausing Hogan's collection pursuits. Denton has testified that his main assets are Gawker stock holdings and his New York City apartment, which he recently listed for sale...

Erin Andrews’s Stalker Must Pay $28 Million From Lawsuit Despite Bankruptcy, Judge Rules

July 12, 2016 - The man who secretly filmed Erin Andrews in a Nashville hotel room through a peephole in 2008 must pay the $28 million awarded to Andrews by a jury despite the fact that he is bankrupt, PEOPLE confirms. Judge Trish Brown of the U.S. Bankruptcy court in Oregon ruled that the damages owed by Michael David Barrett are “non-dischargeable,” according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. Barrett was ordered to pay 51 percent of the $55 million awarded to Andrews in damages in March. Barrett filed for bankruptcy in Oregon, where he lives, in 2012. Previously, he had served two years in prison after pleading guilty to interstate stalking of Andrews in 2009...

Jury Awards Wrestler Hulk Hogan $115,000,000 Over Sex Tape Leaked Online By Gawker Website

Hulk Hogan

This is a follow up to the March 8, 2016 Judiciary Report article "Hulk Hogan Takes The Stand In $100,000,000 Leaked Sextape Lawsuit Against Gawker Website" where the site slammed the behavior of the website for engaging in unlawful behavior that perversely invaded Hogan's privacy in a very sick way.

A week and a half later, on Friday, March 18, 2016, a jury awarded wrestler Hulk Hogan $115,000,000 in damages against website Gawker and its founder, Nick Denton, for leaking to the internet, the illegally made, secret sex tape between the star and the wife of his former best friend. This figure is $15,000,000 more than Hogan requested in the civil lawsuit, but fair under the circumstances, as this case is sick and a gross invasion of privacy. Gawker intends to file an appeal. However, Gawker and company should be made to financially pay for their conduct. A prison sentence would have been appropriate as well in criminal court.

Bubba The Love Sponge Clem and wife Heather

Gawker was arrogant to publish the secretly made sex tape. Hogan and his sex partner, Heather, maintain they did not know they were being filmed by the latter’s husband, Bubba The Love Sponge Clem, who had secretly set up a camera in the closet, to film his wife's activities in their open marriage. The tape was then offered to Gawker, who illegally published it online and made $15,000,000 in advertising from the misconduct. Gawker knew they did not have Hogan or Heather's written permission to do so. They are playing dumb and twisting the law to suit their vile narrative in violating others.

Society is going in a sick direction when third parties are of the deranged and misguided belief, they have the right to secretly watch and or film others in situations privacy is to be expected. As stated in the column previously, psychologists classify voyeurism as a mental disorder. It is not something to be championed or praised. It is mental illness to secretly watch people in their homes, hotel rooms, business or toilets in public establishments, without their consent.

Nick Denton and his boyfriend/civil partner

Recently, sportscaster, Erin Andrews was awarded $55,000,000 due to a stalker secretly filming her naked in her hotel room and uploading the mobile phone video to the internet. Rapper 50 Cent was slapped with a $5,000,000 court judgment for arrogantly uploading a video of Lastonia Leviston, the ex-girlfriend of rival rapper, Rick Ross, to his website, without her consent. Leviston is the mother of Ross' minor child. She became suicidal after 50 Cent posted the tape to the world without her consent and mocked her to boot. It was a nasty, traumatizing event in her life.

The aforementioned individuals that illegally recorded and or published secret sex tapes should be in prison for these sick, perverted offenses and hit with massive criminal fines. What people do in their own bedrooms, hotels, private offices and public toilets is their own business. It is nasty and sick for third parties to think they should be secretly watching. You are sex offenders and sexual predators dragging society right into the gutter. People have a right to privacy. Stop violating it.

Rapper Lil Wayne Sued Again For Not Paying $96,000 Fireworks Bill

Lil Wayne

New Orleans rapper, Lil Wayne, who now lives in Miami, has been sued for the umpteenth time, regarding non-payment of bills. A year ago, Wayne was sued for owing over $1,000,000 plus $800,000 in damages and legal fees regarding non-payment of a private jet he had customized and used for a year, as well as defrauding entertainment industry talent out of music royalties and engaging in copyright infringement.

Due to the private jet lawsuit and his non-payment of $200,000 in legal fees his attorney is owed for defending it (albeit they lost the case but understandably so LOL) $2,000,000 of Wayne's $30,000,000 in art was seized this month by the Miami Dade's Sheriff Office, who raided his home under court order (the financial judgment). If Wayne wants his art back, he has to cough up the $2,000,000 he owes to his creditors.

Wayne has now been sued by Pyrotek Special Effects regarding his 2013 concert tour, for failure to pay for fireworks displays used in his music shows. The company has obtained a court judgment for $96,000, as they had previously struck a settlement with Wayne to pay a financial figure, but he failed to do so. If Wayne does not pay, the sheriff's office could end up knocking the locks off his front door again and seizing more of his property.

People deserve to be paid for their work. I don't know why some in Hollywood, particularly the so-called, self-proclaimed "Illuminati" have the mentality that people's time, hard work and property are free for them to exploit for undue enrichment. You can afford to pay people what you owe them. Stop ripping people off.

Lil Wayne Has $30,000,000 In Art, A $10,000,000 Home And 6,000,000 In Jewelry But Refuses To Pay Young Money Artists, Producers And Companies He Owes Money

Lil Wayne

Young Money Records owner, Lil Wayne, recently lost a debt related case in court, regarding the leasing and customization of a private jet, to the tune of $1,000,000. Wayne took possession of the jet and made no payments for an entire year to aircraft company Signature Group sued and won a $1,800,000 judgment. To make matters worse, Wayne didn't even pay the attorney who represented him in the case, who is owed $200,000, which sent the judgment up to $2,000,000.

As a result of the non-payment of the debt, Wayne's house was raided by the Miami Dade Sheriff's department and items from his art collection, as well as his gold and platinum Recording Industry Association Of America sales plaques, were seized by police. Wayne must now pay $2,000,000 for the return of the seized items.

Lil Wayne's Miami mansion

TMZ mentioned that Wayne's art collection is worth $30,000,000. It is rather disgraceful considering he has grossly shortchanged and in many instances not paid so many people in the entertainment industry what they are owed. Wayne and his Cash Money boss Brian "Baby" Williams have ripped off Young Money artists like Drake and Nicki Minaj. They have also refused to pay songwriters and producers such as David Banner, for songs they produced for the company that grossed millions of dollars. Wayne, Young Money and Cash Money are also the subject of many copyright infringement lawsuits by music industry legends, as well as newer talent.

Wayne's entire art collection needs to be seized and sold to pay off his debts and to repay those he has defrauded in the entertainment industry. Wayne is stealing and defrauding people for undue financial gain. That type of money will do a person no good in life. God does not bless that type of conduct. It always comes with sorrow ("The blessing of the Lord makes a person rich and He adds no sorrow" Proverbs 10:22). Dirty money always comes at a high price.

Lil Wayne's Mansion In Miami Raided By Police Who Seize His Assets

Lil Wayne

The $10,000,000 Miami mansion owned by Young Money rapper and drug addict, Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter, was just raided by police. The authorities are in the process of seizing everything they can in the house, to satisfy a $2,000,000 court judgment against the rapper, resulting from a lawsuit brought by private jet company Signature Group in Miami. Lil Wayne leased a jet from the company he instructed them to customize to his specifications, but then failed to make any payments for over a year. This resulted in a lawsuit Wayne lost. Wayne has also failed to pay his layer $200,000 in legal fees for representing him in the case he lost.

Lil Wayne and fellow thief Birdman

Police deputies arrived at the property on La Gorce island, but were denied entry by Wayne's security guard. The police utilized the court order in their possession to raid the mansion and seize Wayne's assets which will be given to Signature Group to help satisfy the court judgment. The company will likely hold an auction to liquidate the seized assets, while select items will be sold to private companies who specializes in such purchases.

Lil Wayne could have filed bankruptcy, which would have granted him protection for at least 6-months and given him the ability to rearrange his debts and repay creditors under a plan. Some debts could have also been wiped out. However, he was too busy partying at a strip club in Los Angeles and Miami sheriffs raided his property.

Lil Wayne, a prodigious copyright thief, also owes the city of Miami over $200,000 in unpaid taxes, as previously reported on the site. The city is allowed to foreclosure on the home after 2-years of tax non-payment. The contemporary mansion still has a mortgage on it. Wayne has been making payments on the home for the past 4-years and in that time, there has been an uptick in home prices in Miami. However, Wayne did overpay for the mansion when it was purchased. Therefore, there may not be much equity in it.

At the end of the day, Wayne was living a lifestyle he is not financially entitled to in any measure. Wayne is a prodigious copyright thief, who has been sued by veteran musicians, as well as newer songwriters and producers, for willfully stealing their copyrighted work, for undue financial gain. Wayne is also not paying his Young Money artists their correct royalties. They have sold millions of singles and albums and have not been paid even 20% of what they are owed under existing contracts. Their artists are struggling to buy homes and cars, opting to lease to keep up appearances.

Young Money's parent company, Cash Money, is even worse, ripping off artists, songwriters, producers and musicians, to the tune of millions, to allow its owner Brian Williams ("Birdman") to live in absolute luxury. Any way you slice it, this type of unethical behavior from Young Money and Cash Money constitutes copyright infringement (thefts of copyrights), fraud and grand theft larceny. Once again, Hollywood is an industry of thieves. If Congress properly regulated Hollywood, these disgraceful financial crimes would not be happening and damaging so many people.

Lil Wayne Loses Private Jet Lawsuit And Is Ordered To Pay $1,800,000

Lil Wayne and Birdman

Young Money rapper, Lil Wayne, real name Dwayne Carter, was sued this year by an aviation company in Miami, for ordering the $1,000,000 customization of a Gulfstream private jet, accepting it under leasing terms and failing to pay the bill. The private jet, which costs $55,000 per month to run, was used by Lil Wayne, but the company did not receive payment in accordance with the terms of the leasing deal. A verdict has been reached in the case and Lil Wayne was hit with a $1,800,000 court judgment.

Lil Wayne's money troubles are piling up. He is attempting to sell his $10,000,000 Miami mansion that he should not have bought, as he could not afford it (he has been delinquent in not paying the $220,000 property tax bill for 2014). Lil Wayne is also facing many lawsuits for copyright infringement, defrauding songwriters and producers out of royalties he is contractually obligated to pay and non-payment of other bills. This behavior is typical of Hollywood, where they all want to live the high life that many of them are not entitled to, so they rob others to fund their lifestyles and run up bills, then don't want to pay them.

Rapper 50 Cent Lost $50 Million Dollars On G-Unit

50 Cent

The federal court bankruptcy case of rapper 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, continues to expose the fact the star is not a good businessman. Court papers reveal 50 Cent lost $50,000,000 on rap label and merchandising line G-Unit over the past three years. An astute businessman would have disbanded the label and line after the first year of massive losses. However, 50 Cent kept the company open and continued lavish spending and other risky choices in his life that blew his fortune.

Social networking making jokes about 50 Cent's bankruptcy

Though 50 Cent is hiding money, he did spend significant portions of his fortune on lavish living. The purchase of Mike Tyson's former mansion in Farmington, Connecticut is costing the rapper $18,000 per month in mortgage payments and $20,000 in upkeep. 50 Cent's gardening bill is $5,000 per month. For that price, I'd just buy a sheep and tell the little fella, "Look, a buffet just for you" and let him be the lawnmower.

50 Cent's mansion in Connecticut

50 Cent certainly is not broke, as his mansion is worth millions and almost paid for and he has $2,700,000 in the bank. However, he was sued and lost two big lawsuits. 50 Cent now owes $22,700,000 in  court judgments, which threatens to wipe out much of his assets. As a result, the Judiciary Report has been informed 50 Cent has become suicidal at the thought of having to pay those court judgments. This is ironic as he made Lastonia Leviston suicidal in leaking a sex tape she made with her boyfriend, which led a jury to slap 50 Cent with a $5,000,000 judgment.

Is 50 Cent Abusing The Bankruptcy Court After Filing Then Going To The Strip Club Throwing Money At Strippers

50 Cent

Rapper, 50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, has been the butt of many jokes on social networking this week, for previously making fun of many rappers he referred to as broke, only to file bankruptcy for himself and his boxing company SMS. The rapper is not happy with the jokes and sent out a warning that he is keeping track of people who are making fun of his financial predicament. However, he did this to other entertainers when they were having money issues. What goes around comes around.

50 Cent has filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, which is to reorganize his debts, provide 6-months of protection from creditors and to have portions of his debt wiped out via court order. When one petitions the bankruptcy court, one must be honest and forthcoming about the state of one's finances. So it came as no surprise when social networking questioned the fact 50 Cent filed bankruptcy, then days later went to the strip club throwing money at ho..., uh, I mean strippers. It's not a matter of how much money he spent at the strip club, but the fact he filed bankruptcy then did this, disrespects the court. It's the principle of it. If he's not careful, the bankruptcy trustee is going to heavily scrutinize his filing and could deny him protection.

Lastonia Leviston

The main items 50 Cent is trying to dodge are the two lawsuits he lost in court, after juries sided with the Plaintiffs in each legal action. In the case Sleek Audio v. Jackson (50 Cent), he was slapped with a $17,200,000 judgment for stealing the company's headphones after they were pitched to him and renamed it SMS Audio. In the case Leviston v. Jackson (50 Cent), the rapper was ordered to pay, Lastonia Leviston, who is the mother of Rick Ross' child, $5,000,000 for posting to his site a private sex tape she made with her boyfriend. Based on reports, 50 Cent also maliciously added inappropriate comments to the video.

The whole thing was aimed at hurting Ross. However, Leviston has a child, who will have to deal with the fact an illegally released sex tape of his mom is on the internet. Not to mention the trauma she went through when she realized 50 Cent uploaded the video to the internet without her consent. 50 Cent deserved to be slapped with the $5,000,000 judgment, if not for Leviston, for her child.

Side Bar: When singer, Toni Braxton, filed for bankruptcy (twice), it was after she legitimately earned her money, but overspent on the first go around. The second time she had taken on a big debt load, seeking to pay for it with a very lucrative residency in Las Vegas, but fell ill. Each time the bankruptcy court seized some of Braxton's belongings and sold them to pay her creditors. 50 Cent should not be treated differently, as he caused other people financial and emotional injury via unlawful behavior, leading to lawsuits and verdicts against him.

Rapper 50 Cent Files For Bankruptcy After Making Over $100,000,000

50 Cent

50 Cent, real name Curtis Jackson, who once called fellow rapper Nelly a fool for buying $5,000,000 in jewelry, has filed for bankruptcy. The drug dealer and shooter, turned rap star and alleged actor, filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy in U.S. federal court, to protect himself from creditors he is unable to fully repay.

It is estimated the 40-year old rapper earned approximately $100,000,000 during his 12-year rap career (though rich lists estimated it incorrectly in stating he was worth $270,000,000). The question is where did that money go. For years Jackson has been spending money in an excessive manner. He bought a massive mansion in Connecticut from boxer Mike Tyson and extensively remodeled it. Jackson has also purchased many luxury vehicles, a fortune in jewelry and designer clothes.

50 Cent and his stolen SMS audio brand that landed him in court and on the losing side

After two albums "Get Rich Or Die Trying" and "The Massacre" 50 Cent's rap career fell. 50 Cent has appeared in a few films, but he is not a natural when it comes to acting and did not make large sums of money via the movie industry. Jackson pays child support to two women, Shaniqua Tompkins and Daphne Joy. The latter is living very lavishly in Los Angeles, California on his dime. 50 Cent has been abusive towards both women, accused of burning one out of the home he housed her and his son in, as well as beating Daphne Joy and destroying furniture in the condo he bought her.

50 Cent also got into boxing, which is not an easy sport to navigate, as the Judiciary Report has repeatedly warned. However, rappers such as 50 Cent and Jay Z have gotten into boxing, not knowing what they are doing and losing money. Not long after his foray into boxing, 50 Cent's promotions company SMS filed for bankruptcy. 50 Cent has also engaged in copyright infringement in the entertainment industry regarding songs and music videos he willfully and brazenly stole in tandem with Dr. Dre and Eminem.

50 Cent also ripped off the business copyrights and trademarks of electronics company, Sleek Audio, who obtained a $17,200,000 judgment against him in court (which largely fuelled this bankruptcy). Last week, Lastonia Leviston, an ex-girlfriend of date rape advocate and rapper, Rick Ross, won a $5,000,000 judgment against 50 Cent him for invasion of privacy, in posting to the internet a sex tape featuring her without her consent.

Canelo Alvarez, 50 Cent and his boxer James Kirkland

That's $22,200,000 in court judgments against 50 Cent, in addition to a collapsed rap career, a mediocre movie career and a failed boxing company. He was in no position to be telling people how to get money, when much of what he obtained was done through copyright infringement, trademark infringement and turning that cash over into what became failed business ventures. He is also not wise enough to watch what he says and does, as well as respect the law as it pertains to others rights, via engaging in criminal invasion of privacy.

In the bankruptcy filing, 50 Cent's lawyer stated his debts and assets are between $10,000,000 to $50,000,000. For what he obtained (albeit illegally) that is a colossal financial fall from grace. The fact of the matter is 50 Cent never should have reached the point he needed to file bankruptcy. Actually, he should not have reached the point he amassed millions of dollars in ill-gotten wealth. Greed, thievery, covetousness and wild spending led to the rapper's current predicament.

Judge Slaps Woman With $10,000 Fine For Lying In Stating Michael Jordan Is The Father Of Her Son

Michael Jordan

Well, this case got ugly really fast. A judge just slapped sex instructor, Pamela Smith, with a $10,000 fine for "lying" regarding the paternity of her son, Taj, via claiming in court papers his dad is basketball legend Michael Jordan. Smith sued Jordan for paternity. However, years ago paternity was established with Smith's ex-husband named as the father on the young man's birth certificate. Smith withdrew the lawsuit, then the judge dismissed it without prejudice, meaning it can be filed again.

Pamela Smith failed to compel the court to order Jordan to take a paternity test, as she hired a publicist, before a lawyer, which didn't look right.

Jordan strenuously denied the claims and hired an attorney to counter them in court. When it was revealed Smith recently tried to remove her ex-husband's name from 27-year-old Taj's birth certificate, Jordan's lawyers entered the evidence into the court record. This resulted in the judge hitting her with a $10,000 fine to cover Jordan's legal fees and labeling her a liar for hiring a publicist before an attorney.

Taj changed his last name to Jordan

It is not currently known if Smith was paid by any publications for her story, as a number of bloggers reported turning her down when she sought to drum up press for it. Therefore, if she wasn't paid a tell-all fee and now has to pay $10,000 in legal fees to Jordan, she is up a creek.

Pamela Smith and Michael Jordan

I don't understand why any woman would point the finger at the wrong man regarding paternity. Though I do not live that way, in my estimation, it would be embarrassing enough to publicly admit one does not even know who the father of one's child is, due to the number of people in one's bed, but to guess and guess wrong...oh dear. That's embarrassing.

Taj Jordan and Michael Jordan

Most women don't want to be publicly disgraced like that - sexing so many people you don't know who the daddy is, isn't something to be proud of or "shout from the rooftops" as the phrase goes. Once again, as the Judiciary Report has repeatedly stated in the past, all publicity is not good publicity.

Ralph Hall

Side Bar:
while we're on the subject, I'd just like to announce I've been dating 90-year-old Texas congressman Ralph Hall and I am going to have his baby (never mind I'm not pregnant). I'm his Anna Nicole Smith, but you know, black. You rocked my world sweet thing and I want the whole country to know it. What happens in Vegas Washington, doesn't stay in Washington. Just kidding (no disrespect intended to the congressman). But see, anybody can make up a story about anyone. Proving it is another story.
