For weeks reports abounded that singer Mariah Carey, 45 and her husband, comedian Nick Cannon, 33, are headed for divorce after 6-years of marriage. This week Nick Cannon confirmed it by stating, "There is trouble in paradise. We have been living in separate house for a few months." The couple have been living apart and Cannon is being blamed. Cannon is being accused of infidelity, which he denies.
However, according to reports, what torpedoed his marriage was Cannon running his mouth in an interview, regarding his past sexual conquests, such as Christina Milian, Nicole Scherzinger, Selita Ebanks and Kim Kardashian (among others) which "humiliated his wife." Carey is said to be appalled at Cannon's foolish statements during an interview, arrogantly bragging he has bedded many women. Cannon stated during the interview with debauched shock jock Howard Stern, "Are you kidding me this is L.A.? That's the whole purpose of it, you have sex with actresses, singers, models."
Things have not been going well for Carey this year either. Carey’s latest CD entitled, "Me. I Am Mariah. The Elusive Chanteuse" (LOL what a haughty and pretentious name for a CD) bombed as well, becoming the worst selling CD of her career, after the Judiciary Report enacted a boycott against it. Some hateful, unbalanced Mariah Carey fans known as “lambs” crazily attacked me on Twitter, spamming me with threats, for asking a simple question in an article about claims by singer Kelly Price that Carey's voice is very damaged and others are helping her sing on CDs.

Carey encourages this craziness from her "lambs" knowing full well they are going around the internet attacking people engaging in the right to free speech, who state anything less than glowing about her. On September 6, 2013, I warned them to stop clogging up my notifications on Twitter with their madness or I'd write a string of articles about her that would create a sales decline for her then forthcoming CD "Me. I Am Mariah. The Elusive Chanteuse."
On September 6, 2013 I wrote on the Judiciary Report, "I promised on Twitter as long as the spam continues, so will articles on Carey and I will stick to my word (and trust she won't thank them for it). Carey encourages this unbalanced fanaticism in the 'lambs' - who routinely parlay it into attacking different people online that criticize her. They break the law with threats of violence and death. The last singer I went on a writing spree about, with exclusives, saw a major, sustained sales decline. Her name is Madonna. I also asked the public to boycott Warner's stock over her and their copyright thefts and during that time said stock price dropped from $27 to $5 per share. My sites reach 5 million readers through main pages, blogs and feeds...".
One year later after the boycott warning, Carey's new CD has bombed in a major way, selling only 103,000 copies after nearly two months of release, which is very bad for a major label artist. I don’t know why anyone in their right mind would think provoking unflattering coverage on a website or blog read by millions would help them or their cause in the sales department.

Kelly Price Says She Was Cursed At By The Production Crew Of 'R&B Divas LA'

Singer turned reality star Kelly Price has been the subject of a public backlash for her Mean Girl image on the show "R&B Divas LA." Most thought the backlash came solely from the public, but as it turns out, the production crew of the reality show "R&B Divas LA" didn't like Kelly either. Oh, that's not good.
Price stated in an interview this week, "I think the biggest misconception is that I was combative with the ladies. That didn't happen. I've been disrespected. I've been cursed at by some of the production people on the set.. a lot of things that happened that the public will never know about that I have well documented if I need to produce otherwise."
The question is why is everyone angry with Kelly. Apart of the problem is she is walking around with a chip on her shoulder feeling everyone is disrespecting her, when that's not the case. There is a difference between respect and hero worship.

On the show Price demanded her other cast-mates must respect her, but her definition thereof is obedience in doing exactly what she says when she says it how she says it. Others will interpret that as being ordered or bossed around, infringing upon their personal rights and free will.
Price has expressed that she is reluctant to do a second season of the reality show, due to how she felt she was mistreated, but she needs to clear up the negative cloud surrounding her name via a return to the show.
Price is blaming the show's editing for making her look bad. However, people must take responsibility for
their deeds. Price missed a charity show appearance held in her honor, skipped out on rehearsals that wasted other people's time, then became angry when the show progressed in her absence, resorting to bully tactics when she did not get her way. If you commit to a project, you should stick with it and see it through to completion.

For example, Price could have handled her interactions with stage director Fred differently, rather than being unkind and disrespectful to him, essentially humiliating a competent man on national television, who went on to produce a top notch monologue. Price was very confrontational and embarrassed him on camera. It was cringe worthy. I felt bad for the man.
She also did not have to bring props to a rehearsal that symbolize violence and street fighting, which was interpreted as a message to fellow singer Chante Moore to fall in line, after attempting to get the production moving in Price's absence.
Price could have refrained from being verbally abusive and cold with singer Lil Mo, attempting to sic her husband on the vocalist during what was a simple conversation. Price states she was "ambushed" as she was expecting ally Dawn Robinson, but was presented with Lil Mo.
In closing, if you sign on to a reality show, rule number one, don't act up for the cameras in an effort to draw ratings if you can't take the heat that will come from your on camera displays. It can backfire and turn into something you did not plan on.

The surprise villain on the reality show "R&B Divas LA" turned out to be none other than singer Kelly Price. During the first episode Price came across as mother hen, but then, turned into Cruela Deville, about to slap the spots off of a bunch of unsuspecting Dalmatians.

Price became the resident villain, which they say every story needs, but when it’s reality TV, this will spill over into real life, as one is not playing a character, but one’s self (for the world to see). Price is paying a price for her Mean Girl antics on the show, via public backlash. Each time the show aired after Price flipped out, she became one of the top trending items on Twitter. Price's counterpart on "R&B Divas Atlanta" Nicki Gilbert has also been hit with public criticism for her conduct on the show.

To be popular on a reality show, one does not have to be a villain. One can be smart, funny and candid. Nonetheless, one takes a risk signing on to a reality show one does not own or produce (and even then it can backfire). I was sent an email from a production company asking me to come in an audition for a reality show. My columns are candid and comedic, leading to them thinking I would be a good choice.

But then I'd turn on the TV and see some reality shows and balk at how people come across, who were on television going for broke for ratings. It wasn't until Braxton Family Values, Duck Dynasty (my fave) and Bullock Family Ranch that people on reality shows came across with civility, sanity and depth.

During part two of the "R&B Divas LA" reunion show, singer Kelly Price announced there would be a tour featuring the ladies on the show as well as some of the singers featured on "R&B Divas Atlanta." However, castmate, Chante Moore disagrees. Moore referred to Price's announcement as premature and stated in an interview that nothing has been finalized.

I didn't know that she's going to make that announcement on the show, but I thought that I should let it go at that time because the reunion was tapes a couple of weeks ago; because I thought by now, it would be cleared up or settled - that it would happen or be for sure, or either way I thought something would be settled and at this moment, nothing is happening. They postponed of cancelled - definitely postponed - I don't know if it's ever going to get picked up. Period."

'R&B Divas LA Reunion Show Part 2' Brought Out More Secrets

Part 2 of the "R&B Divas LA" reunion show brought to light more secrets concerning cast members. For example, singer Michel'le revealed her ex-fiancé, rapper/producer, Dr. Dre used to beat her so badly that she had to cover the black eyes with make-up. Not cool Dre!
Kelly Price revealed she was repeatedly molested at age three by a female cousin, which is terrible. This maybe where some of Price's anger, bitterness and bullying stems from, as she has been mean to the other women on the show, gaining herself a bad reputation with the public.
The reality TV money is not worth the negative image Price is now owner of, which has put off the public. As much as I know about industry folks, I never realized Price was like this. It's a shame someone didn't talk to her early in the show's taping and tell her to pull that back, but this is who she is and it has not helped her.
Lil Mo, Chante Moore, Claudette Ortiz and Michel'le have gained so much from this reality show, including new fans, career opportunities and regenerated names. The Judiciary Report is happy for them as they are talented, beautiful women who have been through much and deserve good breaks.

However, seemingly overnight Kelly Price has destroyed a name she took twenty-years to build. Price wasn't broke when she did the show, due to songwriting royalties, but her name was not in the mainstream as it had been in the past during her time with Badboy Entertainment. This was not the best comeback.
Former En Vogue singer Dawn Robinson didn't fare as badly, but this show damaged her name as well, due to following Price and reportedly being kicked off the show for lying about her ex-husband, producer Dre Allen (Girl, you nearly got me and several other people sued). Reunion show host, Wendy Williams seemed to imply Robinson would not be returning for season two of the show.

However, the ladies are going on tour. Kelly Price, KeKe Wyatt and a few others are hitting the road. For the tour to be a hit, it will need Moore, Claudette Ortiz, Lil Mo, Michel'le, Faith and Angie Stone as well. "R&B Divas LA" is more popular than "R&B Divas Atlanta" so to have the tour mostly comprised of the latter won't bring the biggest financial return.

One of my credible sources responsible for some of my exclusives, all of which later proved true, informed me that comedian Nick Cannon, the husband of singer and chronic copyright infringer, Mariah Carey, 43, has homosexual tendencies that aided his career. My source informed me that Nick "Let men touch him for career favors in Hollywood."
Nick let men touch the Cannon for career advancement in becoming a star. How ironic, as Carey became famous via the same thing, cheating with then married Sony Music CEO Tommy Mottola, who left his heartbroken wife and kids for the singer, who is half his age.
Carey used Motolla and behaved very badly during her time at Sony, which employees still complain about to this day. Other Sony artists weren't too pleased with her either, as she was given preferential treatment for having sex with Mottola and usurping chunks of the label's budget.
But Mottola was no fool. Mottola, who bragged about his connections to the mafia, knew she didn't love him and was using him to become famous. Right away, Mottola began taking significant sums of her royalties. In the end, she didn't walk away with what people thought.
Carey does not have as much money as people think. She is certainly not poor, but missing roughly $100,000,000 that went with Mottola. He wasn't as dumb as she thought. It's not kind to marry someone one does not love in order to use them for what they have in the bank and their connections.
Side Bar: this truthful article is dedicated to the roughly 50 crazy Mariah Carey fans AKA "lambs" on Twitter, who began spamming me over an article I wrote, regarding comments Wendy Williams stated Kelly Price made about the singer and her noticeably damaged voice (Did Kelly Price Sign A Confidentiality Agreement With Mariah Carey And Sony Regarding Her Vocal Work For The Singer). I promised them the articles would continue if their spam did and like Pavlov's dogs, they will learn (regarding the torrent of exposés like the one posted above, that I will keep posting until the spam stops).
Said "lambs" are under the misguided impression that if they act like bullies and beasts to people such as myself, Nicki Minaj and Kelly Price, from behind the safety of their computers, issuing death threats and threats of violence, they can somehow silence others. Wrong!
They are free to state whatever they like under free speech laws, provided it is not illegal (i.e. death threats, assault threats) but unlawfully spamming me, with the same folks firing off several threat laden tweets in seconds, clouding out the tweets to me I actually want to read, is inexcusable. Like Pavlov's dogs, they will learn.

notorious for saying his mind. However, the hitmaker and
"coach" on the show sparked social media debate tonight
following controversial comments made about diva Mariah Carey while
praising favourite-to-win Leah McFall.

Rumors have been spreading that Mariah Carey may be undergoing a risky
surgery. It's not a cosmetic surgery, as many would think, but instead
an operation that would help salvage her golden pipes. Ever since her
1990 debut, the pop diva has been working at a non-stop pace, putting
out an album every year and touring every other year. This has caused
Carey to form vocal nodules, which have damaged her voice due to its
overuse.
Normal vocal cords have smooth, white mucosal surfaces without any
irregularities on the vibrating borders. Excessive tension or force
used when singing or speaking often "overloads" the vibration
of the vocal cords, resulting in too much friction. A bruise on the
vibrating edge develops, generally occurring at the anterior one-third
of the vocal cord, which is the point of maximal contact during
phonation. Later, fibrous tissue replaces the hematoma, becomes larger,
and eventually appears as a soft or hard white nodule.
Such nodules have caused problems with Carey's vocal production and her
condition has developed for the worst in the past few years. Repeated
hoarseness, breathy and husky tones and the need to use
greater-than-normal breath pressure to sustain the voice (thereby
increasing the overall effort of singing) are danger signals that Carey
has experienced since 1998 and many others have noticed, as well.
Usually, nodules can be cured and prevented with proper vocal technique
and a sensible lifestyle, which includes necessary rest and relaxation,
aerobic exercise, and a healthy diet. In fact, recent studies of the
laryngeal biomechanics of singers at the Center For Voice Disorders
have shown that excessive muscle tension patterns in the larynx are
greatly reduced in singers with vocal training, as compared to singers
who have never studied voice.
Carey has taken note of that, too. Since her emotional breakdown last
summer, the singer has taken more time to relax her voice and has been
seeing a vocal coach at the advice of her mother. Although this has
greatly improved Carey's voice and has it sounded like it did before
her hoarseness took over, an ever-perfectionist, Carey is looking to
surgery to restore her voice to it's full capacity - as it sounded in
1990…"

Even Carey has admitted her voice does not sound the same and fills her bedroom and hotel suites with several humidifiers. She is known for this. Carey has done interviews speaking about a change in her voice that occurred in the mid-nineties. During the video interview Carey stated she believes it was due to emotional trauma.
In a teaching capacity, my mother has worked with disabled people who sustained serious emotional trauma, which led to vocal changes. One disabled student stopped speaking after witnessing the murder of one of her parents. There are noted medical cases of people permanently changing accents and vocal pitch after emotional trauma. Therefore, emotional trauma can cause vocal changes, but regarding Carey that does not seem to be the case.

Regarding Price’s claims, Carey would not be the first to do such a thing. Paula Abdul was sued by her credited background singer, Yvette Marine, for using too much of her voice as the basis for the singer’s lead vocals. The Los Angeles Times reported, "Marine--who claims a lead vocal track that she sang was electronically combined with Abdul's voice on at least two of the album's songs--is seeking proper credit and compensation for what her lawyer calls ‘co-lead or supporting vocal’ contributions." First of all, a background singer is not supposed to be singing the entire lead vocal in a studio session (with the exception of choral pieces). That’s a red flag.
Marine lost the lawsuit, but with the way Hollywood corrupts the court system, having been caught red-handed issuing stocks as bribes for favorable judicial decisions that’s not a victory for Abdul , who really can’t sing live. The FBI is currently formally investigating judges for accepting donations and or bribes from people in the entertainment industry to corrupt court cases.

Madonna is also known in the industry for using background vocalist to sing lead vocals under her main tracks to cover the significant deficiencies in her voice. However, no one has sued thus far for this, because really, who would want to take credit for that voice. She’s no Whitney Houston. Having a great singing voice truly is a gift. All of the women on "R&B Divas LA" can sing well. They should feel good about that.

Part one of the "R&B Divas LA" reunion show
aimed to clear up rumors surrounding its stars Chante Moore, Kelly Price, Lil
Mo, Claudette Ortiz, Michel’le and Dawn Robinson. The latter was absent, which
upset the other five cast members of the hit reality show. The reunion show was
hosted by talk show host Wendy Williams, who didn‘t hold back.
There were a lot of questions about Kelly Price’s conduct
towards the other cast members. Williams stated, "Kelly, I had no idea you
were such a mean bully" and "Kelly is a mean girl!" Regrettably, Price
portrayed herself in this manner. She blames her negative image on editing, but
the Judiciary Report disagrees. Yes, editing can stitch people up, but not to
this degree. Girl, that was you.
Moore exposed Price as a liar again, stating the idea for
the monologues show, was not Kelly's but that of the producers and managers
behind the reality show. Moore stated they'd met at the Savoy in Los Angeles
and discussed it, "We had a meeting with management and producers"
and they stated "Hey, this is our idea. Kelly we want you to be the helm
of this." This is an item of note, as Price portrayed herself as the
victim, whose idea Moore stole and hired a producer to put together, after
Kelly kept missing rehearsals.
In the Judiciary Report article "Kelly Price'Heartbroken' Stating R&B Divas LA Edited To Make Her Look Like The Bad Guy" the site stated, "Everyone's time is valuable. To bring together
five women with family and careers of their own, then repeatedly miss rehearsal
as the project manager, is to waste their time and no one feels good when that
happens to them." On the reunion show last night Price stated, "I did
not take the ladies time for granted and never not show up some place."
However, she did and owes them an apology.
Price stated her antics on the show, including bringing
Timberlands, a straight edge razor and Vaseline to a rehearsal, symbols of an
imminent fight in the hood, was done by her to create drama. Price stated the
producers told her, "Turn it up or this gets shut down" so she
brought drama to the show. However, the other cast members insist "no
acting was involved." Lil Mo even offered, "Violence was
unacceptable."
Williams put it all out there, basically telling Ortiz she
is too pretty to have been almost homeless (there are pretty homeless people).
However, she married for love. She could have married a rich industry
millionaire she didn't love, but no one respects that. Ortiz's ex-husband
didn't manage the money he made well and that was the problem.
Williams brought up the topic of rumors that Moore's
ex-husband, singer Kenny Lattimore is gay. I've read that several times on
other sites. Moore refused to answer stating "You should ask him."
I'll take that as a yes. Why do some men marry women when they know they have
sugar in their gas tank.
Side Bar: Someone on Twitter claiming to be Dawn Robinson's
ex-husband, R&B singer/songwriter Dre Allen, used some of his few tweets to
tweet me stating he is going to sue Robinson, TV One and me. Yea, I don‘t even
know how I got dragged into this. All I did was write an article about him
based on what Robinson accused him of on the show, broadcast by TV One and what
Media Take Out wrote (Dawn Robinson Of EnVogue And R&B Divas LA Was AbusedBy Husband Who Was Bisexual). A number of other sites wrote far worse things
than I did regarding him, yet I get singled out. Seems kind of personal (but I
don't know him).
Robinson accused Allen of beating and cheating on her,
siring three children outside of the marriage. Due to the fact I wrote about it
based on Robinson’s words and a report on Media Take Out, in a Judiciary Report
article sympathetic to Robinson, he wants to sue me as well. However, it’s not
my story and under case law I’m indemnified from legal action for re-reporting
something that was broadcast or published elsewhere. I will sue for damages if
anyone takes me to court with no legitimate legal basis for doing so. I don’t
joke around with that.

R&B singer Kelly Price is really going after everyone.
On part one of the "R&B Divas LA" reunion show, host Wendy
Williams confronted her about comments she made on social networking site
Twitter, stating Mariah Carey can't sing. Price used to be Carey's back up
singer and left before the singer wanted her to do so.
Williams, who called Price a "mean bully" read her
tweet about Carey, "I’m looking at a concert on TV right now of a certain
singer and asking myself what happened to your voice. Sometimes the gimmick
goes too far. One day you go to sing and realize it ain’t happening. This is
making my voice hurt."
I'm not a fan of how Mariah Carey got her record deal
(having sex with Sony Music president Tommy Mottola while he was married with
small kids, breaking up his marriage, then marrying and using him for
preferential treatment at the label). Not a fan of Carey repeatedly stealing
copyrighted music from stars such as Earth, Wind and Fire and the Emotions (for
which she was sued) as well as ripping off lesser known songwriters (who also
sued her).
However, when Carey began in the early 1990s, it did appear
she could sing very well. Price is attributing it to a studio gimmick. But
seriously, if you could do that in a studio then Rihanna and Britney Spears
would sound like Whitney Houston. There is a physical change regarding the
sound of Carey's vocals around the time of her third CD "Music Box"
when her voice began to deteriorate. You can hear the deterioration on
"Music Box" as compared to her self-titled debut CD.

Other singers have experienced similar things, but Carey's
is one of the most notable vocal declines in pop music history. Her former
labelmate Celine Dion stated she had lost her voice for a few weeks, but it
came back. Dion still sounds the same today, with no decline.
However, I always wondered what happened to Carey, as
singers' voices usually don't change/decline until they are in their sixties
(some singers experience no negative change at all, such as Patti Labelle). I've
heard singers in their eighties and their voices didn't change the way Carey's
did, especially over the course of a couple years.
Drugs and alcohol can cause audible damage to one's voice
prior to one's sixties, but with Carey, something distinctly physiological
occurred. Would be a good case study. I know music theory and history form a
musicological standpoint and can attest, something strange happened with Carey.
I wondered if it was years of singing in the whistle register that depleted her
voice, but Minnie Ripperton and countless opera singers have done the same and
their voices did not diminish in the manner Carey's did and so rapidly.
There is another theory and it appears to be what Price is
implying - someone else was singing with Carey in the studio, proving the
backbone of her musical sound. Look at what she stated again about Carey,
"I’m looking at a concert on TV right now of a certain singer and asking
myself what happened to your voice. Sometimes the gimmick goes too far. One day
you go to sing and realize it ain’t happening. This is making my voice
hurt." Why would her voice hurt unless she was singing...
Price may be implying it was her propping up Carey's sound
on her first CDs, as she was her background singer. Another issue that does not
help matters, it is well noted that for years Mottola refused to let Carey
tour, which would have meant singing live. It wasn't until her voice (on
record) began to deteriorate that she started singing live. By that time the
deteriorated vocals matched up (recorded and live). Makes you wonder.

Resident "R&B Divas LA" villain Kelly Price, has slammed the producers of the reality show over alleged selective editing that made her look like a "crazy bully." Price stated during an interview, "After the trailer came out. I was disgusted. I reached out to production. I asked them like what the heck is going on? Y'all can't put this out there like I threatened her with a knife and you've taken the Vaseline and Timberland's out of context..."

"I was told 'It's just the trailer. We gotta make the trailer hot so people will wanna watch the show. Trust the process. You're trying to depict me as somebody who is crazy. Somebody that likes to fight and somebody that bullies other people and that's not cool. I did fight as a kid. That was a survival mechanism. I don't need to fight at 40 years old. I don't live in the projects anymore... Ask any person that lives in the hood. They don't announce they are going to beat somebody up. They do it."

Was Kelly Price And Dawn Robinson’s Monologue Better Than The Rest Of 'R&B Diva’s LA' Cast

The season finale of the reality show "R&B Divas LA" featured a monologue show held at a concert hall in Los Angeles, starring singers Chante Moore, Michel'le, Lil Mo and Claudette Ortiz. The ladies did a very good job in telling their stories and singing compelling songs.
Noticeably absent from the monologue was singers Kelly Price and Dawn Robinson of En Vogue. Price caused a significant amount of friction on the show, after she repeatedly stood up the ladies at rehearsals and social events, such as a charity where she was the guest of honor.

Price was upset that after waiting around for her, the other four ladies took the initiative and hired their own director and production staff to start the monologue, whilst still working her into the show. Price left and did her own monologue with Robinson, which did not have good production values. The content was good, but the production needed work.

This is often a problem in girl groups. Someone always wants to be the center of attention, rather than working as a group and it causes massive problems and splits. In a group setting egos must be checked at the door or things will not work. Even as a solo artist, showing up with one's ego turned all the way up leaves a negative impression.
