The Obama Administration has been touting the allegedly low unemployment rate, while glossing over the fact over 94,000,000 Americans have been removed from employment rolls, as they’ve given up trying to find a job. A new report reveals 1 in 6 able bodied American men is unemployed, having given up searching for a job because they simply can’t find one.

The record spending Obama has done to the tune of trillions of dollars, including giving himself and his family of four $70,000,000 worth of vacations since taking office in 2009, has made the U.S. economy infinitely weaker (The Obamas Cost American Taxpayers $70,000,000 In Luxury Vacations And Fought To Hide The Bills Showing The Lavish Spending). During this time, China, the world’s top supplier of goods, has surpassed the U.S. economy as the biggest in the world. The U.S. government continues to proclaim America the richest nation on earth, but it is debatable at this point in world history.

What is on track to happen due to Obama’s wild spending is America heading for bankruptcy. The treasury is going to run out of money at this rate. A time is coming when the federal government will no longer be able to afford to financially stay afloat. Obama simply spent too much money, more than the second biggest spender in American history, former president, George W. Bush. Austerity (for a time) is not a bad thing. Austerity is not a bad word. Throughout history it has saved global economies.

Recently, Florida governor, Rick Scott, was on the receiving end of a profane tirade in Gainsville, Florida. A woman slammed Scott in a Starbucks over budget cuts he has made in office regarding women's health care . It is understandable the government would seek to balance the budget. However, cutting funds to the disabled, pregnant women and poor in any society, while government officials have luxury chauffeured cars, credit cards and big expense accounts, is unethical and inhumane.

 

The Obama Administration has cut funding for the disabled (both children and adults) on a federal level, which puts undue pressure on states, while people in the president's cabinet live the high life off the American taxpayers, via first class travel accommodations, padded expense accounts and big pay packets that are undeserved and inappropriate. Obama also gives billions of dollars in U.S. taxpayer money to his pet projects, such as solar projects, which have now failed.

 

It's amazing how the government can make sweeping cuts to programs for children, the disabled, disadvantaged and financially impoverished, but as the Tupac lyric states, "They've got money for wars but can't feed the poor." The government spends trillions on wars, but makes massive cuts to programs to help the needy.

 

A partially blind old lady asked me to read to her a letter addressed to her from the disability office in Florida, regarding how much assistance she would be getting and it stated $379.00 per month and that they had begun to reduce the previous figure by $79.00 monthly. I thought to myself, how can she live on that. The most basic one bedroom apartment in Miami, Florida is approximately $700.00 per month. Yet government officials in Florida and Washington, D.C. are being chauffeured around in $80,000 luxury cars on the taxpayer's dime, when they can afford to buy their own cars out of their paychecks.

I know several people who work with the disabled in the State of Florida. It is a rewarding field. However, the government makes it difficult for those who take care of the disabled, due to budget cuts, excessive amounts of paperwork and highly stressful file reviews. This also becomes burdensome for the disabled having to deal with the massive amounts of paperwork. People are sick and the government is demanding the disabled fill out enough paperwork to fill up a book.

 

Government disability offices in Florida are also questionably run. They tell the disabled to come in for reviews and monitoring, like it's parole, then hours before closing send people with impairments home, with instructions to come back the next day, as they are not of the belief they can see them on that day. So why tell people to come in. It is highly unprofessional and callous.

 

When you realize how much people with physical impairments go through to get up out of bed, bathe, get dressed and take transportation, then to be told come back the next day, hours (not minutes) before a disability office closes, it is disgraceful, vile and nonsensical. You can always tell a lot about an administration by the way it treats the poor and disabled.

This is a follow up to the January 28, 2016 Judiciary Report article “Congress Needs To Intervene In Flint, Michigan With An Emergency Clean Water Bill.” On February 25, 2016 the U.S. Congress tentatively pledged to allocate $250,000,000 to Flint, Michigan regarding the lead poison water crisis that has sickened and kill residents.

Extensive medical and science research needs to be done to assess the full scope of human damage in the crisis. One of the issues worrying me most about the crisis is pregnant women in Flint drank and bathed in the lead poison laden water for a prolonged period of time. Unborn babies consuming lead and at a steady rate during pregnancy will cause adverse health effects to mother and child. Toddlers and other underage children consumed and bathed in the tainted water as well.

There are medicines that aide in halting and reversing some of the effects of lead poisoning. A doctor supervised detox program can be beneficial as well. However, chronic exposure to lead means there is some permanent damage done (cellular, neurological). Consuming foods rich in anti-oxidants, such as green tea and oranges, helps to keep people health (but it won't fix the problem).

Something should have been done to stop the pollutants sooner, as the negative health effects on an sizable city is a human tragedy. Consuming lead can do an enormous amount of short term and long term damage to the human body. It was "pennywise and pound foolish" and a case of false economy in trying to save money via what was/is a tainted water source, as Medicaid and Medicare health bills will mount, as will massive lawsuits the State and federal government will face, due to their criminal negligence and years of inaction.

Where was the EPA while all of this was happening. Why did it take the Virginia Tech, a non-government entity, to go to Flint, test the water and sound the alarm. Brown water pouring out of people's taps in a city of 99,000, sickening and killing people and the government mysteriously thought the problem would just magically go away and fix itself. I don't believe in magic. Neither should the government. Real problems need real solutions.

Flint City Officials Ask Congress for $55 Million to Replace Pipes

Feb. 11, 2016 - City officials from Flint, Michigan asked Democratic members of congress to find the $55 million to fund a plan to replace the city’s lead pipes. On Tuesday, Flint mayor Karen Weaver unveiled the plan to begin replacing the city’s lead pipes next month, the Guardian reports. Weaver and a number of other Flint authorities testified in Washington, D.C. the next day before the House Democratic Steering and Policy committee, led by Representative Nancy Pelosi. 

“I implore you, on behalf of the city of Flint, to help us restore our city,” Weaver said. “I submit to you that we are not disposable people.” Many have called for pipe replacements since the current system became contaminated with lead when the water supply switched from Lake Huron to the Flint River to save money.

Michigan governor Rick Snyder declined an invitation to attend the meeting in D.C. He presented his proposed budget on Wednesday, however, dedicating $37 million to the city for 2017, the Detroit Free Press reports. “My students cannot even walk to the nearest fountain to quench their thirst,” KMVT reports school superintendent Bilal Tawaab said at the hearing. “This has become their new normal.”

Chicago’s BBG gang is being named by locals as the set that murdered 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee, in retaliation for his father’s alleged involvement in the killing of two adult gang members and wounding one of their mothers. Tyshawn was lured to an alleyway and shot in the head and chest execution style.

In a similar incident in 2008, the 7-year-old nephew, 29-year-old brother and 57-year-old mother of singer Jennifer Hudson were brutally shot to death (in the head) by Chicago gang member, William Balfour (who joined a gang in his teens, began selling drugs and engaging in other acts of violence). It’s very alarming that children are being killed by gangs with no regard for their age or innocence.

The federal government needs to do more regarding Chicago’s gang problem, as it has surpassed that of Los Angeles, where such sets originated with the Bloods and the Crips. The U.S. government needs a dedicated anti-gang violence unit in Chicago, as citizens are afraid to walk in their neighborhoods for fear of being assaulted or killed. The U.S. government also needs a dedicated anti-terrorism unit in Michigan.

11.10.151:08 AM ET - The Monsters Who Executed a Chicago Fourth-Grader. One gang member took a bullet to the gut. Next a rival’s female friend was shot in the head and killed. Then, somehow, the violence spread to a 9-year-old holding a basketball. Chicago police say 9-year-old Tyshawn Lee was lured into the alley and executed as he returned from school.

His uncle, Christopher Smith, says Tyshawn had already come home to his grandmother’s house and then taken his basketball into the alley, where there is a hoop over a garage. A pair of gunmen then appeared. “They been doing their homework on him,” the uncle says. The boy’s father, Pierre Stokes—known as Woodie and also as Wooh Gotti—is said to be a member of the New Money Renegade faction of the Killaward gang, which is itself a faction of the much larger Gangster Disciples gang.

New Money is said to be in a two-year war with the nearby Bang Bang Gang (BBG), a faction of the Terror Dome gang, which is itself a faction of the much bigger Black P Stone Nation gang. The more recent fatalities include BBG member Tracey Morgan, known as T-Time. He had a brother with Killaward, but with the Kutthroat faction. That apparently earned him no special consideration from the New Money faction of Killaward.

Never mind your blood ties. Faction affiliation—and therefore life and death—is decided by what block you happen to be raised on. BBG was BBG. New Money was New Money. “BBG and New Money, that’s the war right now,” Morgan’s brother told The Daily Beast. On the night of Oct. 13, Morgan’s mother had just picked him up from a parolee “call-in,” where police and federal officials join with social services providers in offering gang members help if they renounce violence, and misery if they do not. The program has had considerable success, but there would be no determining its ultimate effect on Morgan. He and his mother were on their way back to his home turf when gunfire erupted from another car. He suffered a fatal wound to his abdomen. His mother was shot in the arm, but she seemed to forget her wound as she screamed, “My son is dying! My son is dying!”

Five days later, a New Money associate was wounded as he drove with a 19-year-old named Brianna Jenkins. The young woman was hit in the head and killed. But the police believe that BBG remained thirsty for more blood. And BBG could have found any number of targets on New Money’s home turf at West 80th Street and Marshfield Avenue. “That’s all anybody got out there,” Smith said. “The more shells, the merrier.” “We be out here every day,” Tyshawn’s uncle, Smith, later noted on Twitter.

The problem for BBG was that those New Money targets shoot back. BBG was apparently anxious not to suffer any further losses. Little Tyshawn was not going to be packing anything more deadly than the basketball he always toted to Scott Joplin Elementary School. And, since he lived with his maternal grandmother in BBG territory, BBG would not have to fret about encountering rival gunmen. “Yall super scary ass scared to come on 80th Marshfield,” Tyshawn’s uncle later remarked on Twitter. “Grown clown a** n***as from bbg chassed dat lil boy down da alley and killed him.”...

Congress Needs To Enact Legislative Guidelines Regarding Police Brutality

The way to solve the current problems is via Congress and the federal government addressing the police brutality occurring in America, by establishing new, clear-cut federal guidelines/laws, that provide stiff penalties for officers who cross the line. For example, the 16-year-old girl, who was battered by a cop for not getting out of her seat at school, could have been removed from class via the officer using his right arm to lift her up by her left arm, then escorted her out of the classroom [South Carolina Police Officer With History Of Abuse Chokes, Slams And Throws 16-Year-Old Black Girl Across Classroom Committing Assault On A Minor (Video)]. Putting a child in a chokehold, slamming her to the ground, then tossing her across the room, before jumping on her back and cuffing her, was assault (South Carolina Cop Who Choked, Body Slammed And Threw 16-Year-Old School Girl Fired From His Job).

In cases where subjects of petty crime are fleeing, an officer should not have the right to run after and shoot the person in the head or back/torso, as it often results in death. Unless you are trying to catch a very dangerous serial killer or mass murderer, who poses an imminent danger to the public, you should not be shooting at the person several times as they run away. The average person cannot recover from being shot several times. Once again, if you shoot someone several times, you are likely going to kill them.      

If you cannot successful shoot the individual in the leg once to slow them down or stop them (avoiding the femoral artery which can lead to rapid exsanguination and death), you should not aim for the head or torso. Case in point, African-American man, Walter Scott, was shot in the back several times and died, after running away from a cop over a minor traffic stop (Michael Slager Indicted For Shooting Unarmed Black Man Walter Scott 8 Times In The Back As He Ran Away).

Scott ran away (not towards) officer, Michael Slager, who began running after him. Slager shot Scott in the back 8 times, then tried to plant a gun next to his body (to set up the lie Scott had grabbed his gun and attacked him when he had not). The officer even pushed mortally wounded Scott's face into the ground to impede breathing, lessening his chance of survival. Scott had committed no major crime. He did not deserve to die over a broken taillight on his car. It is insulting and ridiculous that he died for such a minor offense. 

Another issue that has resulted in preventable injuries is police officers beating or shooting suspects after they have been cuffed and subdued (Deputy Sheriff Charged With Manslaughter In The Shooting Death Of Black Man Who Was Already Handcuffed On The Ground). This is not appropriate and constitutes assault. Videos online show some police officers kicking and punching people already in handcuffs and subdued. Other incidents include driving police vehicles erratically causing injury to occupants who are handcuffed (referred to as "waffling").

I also have it on good authority Madonna has been issuing nasty, vicious threats about Drake in the entertainment industry, after he accidentally embarrassed her when she kissed him on stage without permission, triggering his involuntary gag reflex (Madonna Mocked On Social Networking For French Kissing Drake Causing Him To Gag And Wipe His Mouth In Disgust). Riots Erupt In Baltimore Over Freddie Gray Killing By Cops Reiterating The Need For A Federal Law Regarding Police Brutality (Video)

 

Today was the funeral of Freddie Gray, a man in Baltimore, Maryland, who was the subject of deadly police brutality and excessive force, simply for running in fear from several police officers. Gray had committed no crime, but became afraid when he saw several police officers staring at him.

Gray ran away and was caught and beaten. Gray was dragged into an ambulance and hours later pronounced dead at the hospital. His spine was snapped and ribs crushed, all while in police custody. No one is saying what truly happened to Gray, which has resulted in rage from people in Baltimore. This rage turned into violence as riots erupted. 

The people of Baltimore have every right to be angry at the violence being directed at black people. However, rioting and looting is not the answer. Peaceful protests would be better. Gray's death is the latest of many at the hands of select police officers in America, who have used an extraordinary amount of force against black people. 

It is painfully clear there needs to be a federal law enacted at a congressional level to address police brutality. Clear lines need to be drawn in the proverbial sand, regarding what is acceptable and unacceptable conduct from police officers. There should be stiff penalties to any officer who engages in police brutality and excessive force.

Serial Copyright Thieves Beyonce And Jay Z Sued For Stealing 'Drunk In Love' And Even Including A Clip Of The Original Artist's Voice On The Track

Chronic copyright infringers, Beyonce and Jay Z, have been sued by a Hungarian singer named Monika Miczura for stealing her preexisting, traditional Roma folk song "Bajba Bajba Pelem" for illegal use on their 2013 song "Drunk In Love." The theft of copyright is so brazen, the mentally deficient couple, Jay Z and Beyonce, even clumsily included a small clip of Miczura's actual singing voice on "Drunk In Love" while trying to plagiarize elements of her preexisting tune.

As many of you know, Jay Z and Beyonce, have been repeatedly sued for copyright infringement and financial fraud in stealing people's copyrights, money and or goods. Many people have dragged them into court over stealing preexisting copyrights. Previously, in a similar case, Jay Z was sued for using singer Demme Ulloa's vocals on his track "H To The Izzo" and never paying her. Jay Z was also sued for stealing Egyptian vocalist Abdel Halim Hafez's song "Khosara Khosara" for use on his profane song "Big Pimpin'."

Recently, Beyonce was hit with credible claims she stole the "7/11" music video from the preexisting video of indie artist, OG Maco titled "You Guessed It." Upon viewing both videos, the theft is blatantly apparent. Beyonce also stole the music video for "Countdown" from Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker's "Rosas Danst Rosas. "Single Ladies" was stolen from Bob Fosse's "Mexican Breakfast." "Get Me Bodied" is stolen from Bob Fosse's "Sweet Charity." "Love On Top" is a brazen theft of New Edition's hit video "If It Isn't Love."

There are many more copyright infringement claims against the disgraceful couple. Everything they do is stolen. They've made millions from criminal copyright infringement in acts that make a mockery of the law and decency. Is there any wonder some people on the internet constantly mock Beyonce and Jay Z as "swagger jackers" (see: thieves).

However, thanks to thieves like Jay Z, Beyonce, Madonna, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Coldplay and Simon Cowell, the federal court system is so utterly and thoroughly corrupt, copyright infringement cases never make it to trial due to bribery (stocks, assets, cash and or checks issued in the judges' names or that of their family members or business associates). I have checked many credible copyright cases filed in the federal court system, where the copying/infringements are absolutely blaring and not a single one made it to trial. A small percentage of them were settled, but 90% of the cases were all dismissed by corrupt federal judges based on opinion and not the law.

It's not like state court, where unethical judges can be voted out for corruption, simply by notifying the public of their bad behavior. Federal judges are appointed and well paid for life on the taxpayers' dime and a number of said jurists behave very badly as a result. There are federal judges illegally playing character witnesses for thieving stars in glowing dismissal rulings, via conduct that is an absolute disgrace to the legal system. It is an alarming trend that has led American and international litigants to forgo suing in America, in favor of courts in Britain and Europe. However, Hollywood has no shame or they would comprehend the disgrace and what it means to actually bring an entire court system into domestic and international disrepute. If Congress does not act on this matter, the federal court system's name will never recover.

“Real Housewives Of Atlanta” reality star Apollo Nida was recently sentenced to 8-years in prison for fraud, via an elaborate scheme that ripped off many unsuspecting people. Nida's his wife, Phaedra Parks, who is one of co-stars on the reality show, has decided to end their marriage. Reports indicate she is dating already. However, this has not been confirmed by the couple.

Granted what Nida did was unwise, he will most likely serve half of the sentence, which translates to 4-years in prison, with good behavior. Four years will fly by in no time. Parks should wait for him. He is the father of her two children. Nida’s behavior wasn’t the best, but he is paying for his sins, after having ripped off elderly people, stealing their pension checks. Nida was also ordered to pay $2,000,000 in restitution to his victims and via reimbursement to the states and corporations that had to replace the stolen check funds.

Rihanna and her mentors Jay Z and Madonna are known copyright thieves. Their entire careers are based on it. Madonna has bribed U.S. federal court judges in incidents the Judiciary Report has covered over the past several years. This bribery and corruption has led to Americans and foreigners shunning the U.S. federal courts, opting to file copyright lawsuits in other nations when their work is infringed by Hollywood.

Rihanna has been sued again in another foreign court, this time France, for copyright infringement. The disgraceful thief has been sued by artist, James Clar, over her music video “Rockstar 101.” Clar's attorney stated, "French laws on plagiarism are more favorable in France than in the US." This is true. 

Copyright infringement cases don't see the light of day in U.S. courts thanks to judicial corruption, as Hollywood illegally gives corporate stock and cash to federal judges to throw out cases, in disgraceful acts that is becoming common knowledge in America and around the world. Hollywood is not worth the court system's name, but it is the government's fault for looking the other way to the corruption and it has come at a heavy price - social disgrace and decline in federal court revenues.

Artist Is Suing Rihanna For Plagiarizing Her "ROCKSTAR 101" Music Video

Even though this image appears before the beat drops and RiRi belts out "I told ya," artist James Clar, who often works in neon lights, is suing the pop star for plagiarizing this part of her music video. Rihanna's neon sculpture looks a lot like Clar's 2006 work You & Me. Clar's piece also uses neon letters hanging from other letters, but instead of "ROCK/STAR," his work spells "YOU/ME": 

Clar is asking for $6.64 million in damages and has submitted his complaint to Paris’ Grand Instance Court. According to Clar's lawyer, who is arguing that his client's unique art piece has been reproduced without the artist's permission, “French laws on plagiarism are more favorable in France than in the US.” ...

The Film 'Scarface' Shows What The Drug Trade Is All About

I saw the 1983 film "Scarface" again on AMC last week (the edited, clean version). The movie, filmed in Miami, Florida and Santa Barbara, California, chronicled what was transpiring in Miami at the time during the violent drug trade. The lead character in the film "Tony Montana" was an immigrant to Miami, who wanted to become rich very fast and saw selling cocaine as the answer to his poverty problems.

"Scarface" is often glorified by rappers, who completely miss the message of the film, which is to avoid the drug trade. Director Brian DePalma and writer/director Oliver Stone showed the dangerous, depraved, paranoid and unhappy life that goes with being a drug dealer. However, rappers quote sayings from the film putting a positive spin on what is a very negative and harmful lifestyle.

Rappers promote the drug trade via music, rapping positively about what is destructive behavior. This negatively influences impressionable audiences, who quickly want the homes, cars, jewelry, clothes and women, then get into the drug trade trying to live like rappers (many of whom are just pretending for the cameras, living on credit and rented luxury items). 

The terrible consequences of drug dealing is far more real than what rappers are showing you. Miami had quite a few Tony Montanas running around in the 190s, who wreaked havoc on the city. They bought up luxury homes, cars, jewelry and designer clothes. Some drug dealers were buying several homes and businesses in cash to launder the money. Their was so much money laundering going on in Miami from the drug trade the federal government had to make new rules for how much money one can deposit without it being flagged and sent to the government for inspection ($5,000). If you buy a house or car cash, the sale is sent to the government for inspection to verify it did not come from the drug trade or any other illegal sources. 

While the drug trade did not personally touch my life, I know someone who was profoundly affected by it. When I moved to Miami in the 1980s as a kid, the drug trade was in full swing. I didn't fully understand it, as I was a child, I just knew it was something negative from what I was told and watched on the news with my mom. 

At the time my mom's friend's daughter was dating a man a few had assumed to be a drug dealer shifting cocaine. He bought a house, a Porsche and BMW. He wore a massive gold rope chain and designer clothes. A young man with no job in possession of said assets and no explanation as to how he acquired them, will draw attention. He got my mom's friend's daughter pregnant. They were both in their early twenties and living in luxury from the drug trade. However, she and her mom were told his money came from his dad's business. It wasn't until the police arrested him and all the material possessions were taken away that it came home to everyone he was a cocaine dealer. He was sentenced to many years in prison and missed his daughter growing up. 

As the saying goes, drug dealers end up dead or in jail, if they refuse to leave the drug trade. Some were caught early by police as small time hustlers and gave up on the trade, not realizing it saved their lives and futures. Some leave the trade when something terribly violent happens. I saw an interview with a former drug dealer, who stated the very expensive watch he was wearing, saved his life. A rival drug dealer opened fire on his vehicle, but the bullet hit the watch, damaging his hand that was covering his chest, but did not go through to his heart. He gave his life to God after that and became a pastor.

A few years of living in luxury is not worth one's life or a long stretch in jail. Leave the drug trade alone. If you're not in it, don't get in it. If you're in it, get out now. Turn your life around and do something honest with it.

U.S. Government Shutdown Ends But Skepticism Continues Among Workers And Political Pundits (Video)

The U.S. Congress has finally reached a deal to end the federal government shutdown plaguing the nation. Many employees of the federal government were placed on furlough and have not been paid this month, anxiously sitting at home wondering when they will be able to return to work.

It is being reported federal workers will be paid by October 29, 2013, which is good, as they will be able to catch up on any delinquent bills that occurred due the shutdown. The whole fiasco created economic damage to the United States and caused international creditors to publicly question whether the government would be able to meet its financial obligations at home and abroad.

What is concerning many is the latest deal is only a temporary fix to fund the government for the next three months. The deal brokered in Congress also raises the debt ceiling for the next 4-months. This has created skepticism, as it means another shutdown could happen. However, let's hope the horrible publicity Congress received along with a sound bashing in the polls, will serve as incentive for lawmakers to strike a balanced, lasting deal that will stop this from transpiring again in the New Year.

Diddy Accused Of Having Sex With Underage Boys In Government Investigation

Bisexual rapper and music mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs, is the recipient of some very serious, strong molestation allegations this week, as a document on the Smoking Gun website reveals the U.S. federal government is investigating him for allegedly having sex with underage boys.

The subject came up during an interrogation of of music manager and cocaine kingpin, James Rosemond, who is under indictment. This isn't some small weed dealing. Rosemond unrepentantly shifted large quantities of the deadly narcotic cocaine in America and used some of the proceeds to fund his music company. Rosemond worked with Diddy on different occasions. 

Federal investigators asked Rosemond about Diddy "having sexual relationships with under age boys.” Some of you may remember an interview regarding Diddy and his protégé Usher Raymond, where it was revealed, when Diddy was in his late 20s, he and a then 15-year-old Usher used to sleep in the same bed at night.

Usher also revealed he and Diddy would attend sexual orgies when Usher was 15, which is a crime in the United States (and most nations with laws concerning minors).

Rosemond, who is facing life in prison for drug trafficking with allegations being tossed around that he had a hand in homicides, due to statements he'd made previously, refused to answer the government's questions on Diddy.

Side Bar: As stated previously in the column, an acquaintance of mine who is a songwriter tried to give me Diddy's phone number after speaking to him about me and my musical abilities and I politely declined the offer, due to Diddy being apart of Hollywood's "Illuminati." I've stated this in the column repeatedly - the federal government is watching the Hollywood "Illuminati" and has them under investigation. The signs are there, but they are too blinded by their own fame to notice.

Druglord Claims Feds Quizzed Him About Sex Life Of Sean "Diddy" Combs

October 15, 2013 - During a debriefing session with federal investigators, James Rosemond, the music manager-turned-cocaine kingpin, was reportedly questioned about the sexual preferences of entertainers, including whether Sean “Diddy” Combs was “having sexual relationships with under age boys,” according to a U.S. District Court filing...

The purpose of the meetings was to allow federal investigators to question Rosemond, 48, about his criminal activities and evaluate whether he should be offered a cooperation agreement in advance of his narcotics trafficking trial. Facing overwhelming evidence of his guilt, Rosemond’s best chance of avoiding life in prison was to strike a deal with Department of Justice lawyers.

However, investigators eventually declined to cut a deal with Rosemond, who was subsequently convicted at trial of running a drug ring that sold millions of dollars’s worth of cocaine. Rosemond, who is nicknamed “Jimmy Henchman,” faces a mandatory term of life in prison when sentenced October 25 in Brooklyn federal court.

In advance of Rosemond’s first proffer session, defense lawyers provided investigators with the names of eight of his cocaine suppliers, according to court filings. During the proffers that followed, Rosemond implicated himself in a pair of homicide plots, described his drug distribution network, and copped to other crimes...

Van Driessche recalled that Rosemond was also asked about Combs since, “We had information through other witnesses that the defendant may have made an admission to Sean Combs.” The nature of this purported admission was not the subject of further testimony. Van Driessche added that Rosemond described having business dealings years earlier with Combs, and that they had a “cordial relationship.”

In his September 6 affidavit, Rosemond (seen at left) contended that he reluctantly agreed to the proffer sessions arranged by Gerald Shargel, his former lawyer. Rosemond added that investigators sought to get him to confess to crimes for which he had no involvement. “When the defendant said he didn’t know about a certain event…they accused him of lying,” Rosemond claimed.

The confrontational sessions turned “awkward,” Rosemond stated, when an investigator showed him “naked pictures” of different women. The purpose of this purported investigative technique is not revealed in Rosemond’s affidavit. A prosecutor, Rosemond continued, then “asked about entertainers sexual preferences, including, but not only, Sean Combs having sexual relationships with under age boys.” Again, Rosemond provided no context for these alleged queries...

Congress In Trouble As 60% Of Americans Want Them Voted Out And Fired Over Government Shutdown

An NBC poll reveals 60% of Americans want every member of Congress voted out, fired for the current federal government shutdown. Their inability to address national debt, budget deficits and ObamaCare, among other things, all while consistently voting for and approving salary increases for themselves, is not sitting well with the public.

Once again, they need to end the shutdown. Government workers who are currently not being paid have mortgages, car payments, gas, utility and food costs to pay for and need their money. Non-payment of bills such as mortgages and car payments will also damage their credit reports and put them in danger of default (foreclosure, repossession). This is not the time for politicians to be playing chicken.

Throw the bums out. That’s the message 60 percent of Americans are sending to Washington in a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll, saying if they had the chance to vote to defeat and replace every single member of Congress, including their own representative, they would. Just 35 percent say they would not.

According to the latest NBC/WSJ poll, the shutdown has been a political disaster. One in three say the shutdown has directly impacted their lives, and 65 percent say the shutdown is doing quite a bit of harm to the economy. NBC's Chuck Todd reports.

Congress And Obama’s Approval Ratings Sink To New Lows Due To Government Shutdown

The current U.S. government shutdown has greatly displeased the American people, so much so President Obama’s approval ratings have dropped 10 points to 37% and Congress took the biggest hit, falling to 5%. Congressional fights over ObamaCare, President Obama's health care program that began a rollout this month, is the center of the debate.

Can’t blame people for being upset with the government, can you. The shutdown never should have happened. The massive number of furloughed government workers during tough financial times is inexcusable. The government is playing with people’s pay and to very adverse effects, in conduct that needs to stop. It is punishing the people because both sides can't agree.

Shutdown Fallout: Obama Approval Rating Slides to 37 Percent

Oct 09, 2013 - A senior White House official told the Wall Street Journal that the administration doesn't really care when the shutdown ends because they're "winning" the PR fight against the GOP. While it's true that Republicans are absorbing more blame than Democrats for the dysfunction, the gap isn't especially wide, especially compared to the 1995 rout. Plus, voters are heaping opprobrium upon all parties involved in the squabble; most people are insisting on compromise -- which isn't helpful to Obama's "no negotiations" stance. The White House must ask itself if the president may be"winning" in relative terms, but losing in absolute terms.

A new Associated Press poll shows Congressional approval at five (!) percent, which is almost within the margin of error. The American people, needless to say, are disgusted by the spectacle playing out on Capitol Hill. Despite his efforts to play the role of an above-the-fray, frustrated bystander, Obama is also taking a hit from this mess. As well he should. Between his atrocious leadership on shutdown talks, which he's single-handedly blocked, and the ongoing Obamacare meltdown, Obama's overall job approval has sunk to 37 percent. For perspective, as he prepared to leave office in January of 2009, President Bush's approval rating was 34 percent. This ain't pretty...

WIC Funding For Baby Food For The Poor Yanked During Federal Government Shutdown Over ObamaCare

Financial programs such as WIC, which provides funding for costly infant food formulas, free of cost to mothers who qualify, has been yanked under the current U.S. federal government shutdown. Some states have offered to foot the bill during the shutdown to keep WIC going to the 9,000,000 families who rely on it.

However, it is unclear if, how and when they will be reimbursed by the federal government and what impact this benevolent, but costly decision will have on local budgets around America. The federal government needs to reimburse the states.

WIC is a good program, as it helps children and they are after all the future of America. Basic proper nutrition is essential to the mental and physical development of growing babies and toddlers. WIC is not a frivolity and should have been granted an exemption/waiver to exclude the vital program from the shutdown.

A recent report in Wired indicates, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, criminally broke the law in giving components of the Obama Administration clearance to illegally investigate and keep files on any American they feel like. This order breached U.S. law in a manner worthy of prosecution, as it trampled the Constitution and U.S. Code. The order is being abused by members of the administration to violate the privacy of innocent Americans for political, personal and financial gain.

Banks completed nearly 60,000 foreclosures in November 2012, which will negatively impact the economy in a number of ways. The government has not done enough to help homeowners, who are being trampled in the court system.
