Rihanna Slammed For Holding The World Cup Trophy In Violation Of FIFA Rules

Rihanna

Attention seeking singer never knows when to quit and the 2014 World Cup proved that once again regarding her behavior that is constantly devoid of class and decorum. According to reports, after flashing her bra at the cameras and making lewd sexual gestures during respectable viewing hours, the drug and alcohol addicted singer did a no-no in holding the World Cup trophy, a violation of FIFA rules, as she is not a member of any football squad, their staff or a FIFA official.

Rihanna's behavior was inappropriate. So much so, the public slammed her all over the internet, particularly on social networking, for the attention seeking faux pas. Rihanna is so desperate for attention and behaves as though her parents did not raise her well.

Rihanna Causes an Uproar by Touching the World Cup

Monday, July 14, 2014 - Rihanna causes an international incident after she was photographed holding the World Cup trophy after Germany's dramatic win over Argentina… After the World Cup final match on Sunday Rihanna posted several selfies online celebrating with the German team while clutching the World Cup trophy.

The problem is the Fédération Internationale de Football Association [FIFA] guidelines state only winners of the tournament and heads of state are allowed to handle the official World Cup Trophy and Bad Gal RiRi is
neither. After fans around the world lit into Rihanna for her faux pax she fired back unbothered.

Football Player Neymar Sends Tearful Message After 2014 World Cup Injury As FIFA Investigates Challenge That Broke His Back (Video)

A tearful but optimistic Neymar, sent a touching message to his fellow Brazilians and global fans, regarding a serious back injury he sustained, when Juan Camillo Zuniga, deliberately kneed him in the back, effectively ending his 2014 World Cup.

Zuniga is currently facing a FIFA investigation into his conduct. In my view, as stated previously, it was deliberate [Brazilian Football Player Neymar Sustains Broken Vertebrae During The 2014 World Cup (Video)]. The day after the Judiciary Report stated Zuniga could have paralyzed Neymar, the Brazilian team doctor confirmed, had Zuniga kneed Neymar in the back 1 inch higher, he would be in a wheel chair.

My dad, a former football player and coach, who loves and respects the sport is offended by what transpired against Neymar and referred to the violent challenge as completely inappropriate. He pointed out the ball wasn't even in the air in a manner Zuniga could have done a header. He hopped on Neymar's back and kneed him in a violent manner.

This goes way beyond football. This someone's life and health. For his part, Zuniga has apologized, but what does not look well for him is the fact he stated members of the Brazilian squad roughed up Colombia star Rodriguez on the pitch, giving the impression the injury on Brazil's star Neymar, was retaliation and revenge.

My dad also stated something very relevant in that the nature of the injury and how it transpired will make Neymar play differently in that he will be more guarded about his back. Sports in general is about hand eye coordination and instinct. Neymar can't let this interfere with his style and game. Get well soon Neymar.

Brazilian Football Player Neymar Sustains Broken Vertebrae During The 2014 World Cup (Video)

Dynamic 22-year-old Brazilian football player, Neymar, sustained a broken vertebrae during a bad challenge that has resulted in the suspension of opposing player, Camilo Zuniga. The versatile forward was wheeled off the pitch crying in pain from the serious injury and immediately rushed to the hospital.

An injured Neymar

As a result of his injury, Neymar is slated to miss the rest of the World Cup. A broken vertebra requires 3-4 weeks to heal. Serious back injuries require extensive rehabilitation and can have lasting effects. Neymar could have ended up paralyzed from that type of challenge and it is one that need not be repeated in football. His spine could have snapped. Some injuries end careers and everyone needs to be mindful of that.

Neymar as a teen

Last week my dad, a former football player and coach, kept stating someone is going to seriously batter Neymar during play, as he has been doing so many jobs and so well on the pitch during his World Cup matches, that someone would think if he was somehow neutralized, it would scupper Brazil's chances of winning the World Cup. The rest of the team is going to have to step up. Best wishes and a speedy and full recovery to Neymar. May you come back better than ever.

Luis Suarez Receives A 9-Match Ban And $112,000 Fine For Biting Opponent At The 2014 World Cup

Giorgio Chiellini (left) bitten by Luis Suarez (right)

The ongoing 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil has been wonderful. It's so nice to see some of the best football players in the world all gathered in one place. It is a joy to watch them play and has been a real treat for global audiences. Ratings are through the roof and the competition has been enjoyably fierce. Well done to Brazil and all who have been participating in the World Cup.

Painful bite marks on Giorgio Chiellini's shoulder

However, the World Cup has not been without controversy. Uruguayan footballer, Luis Suarez, bit Italy's Giorgio Chiellini, then did a dive in an attempt at obtaining a (penalty) free kick (diving is why Suarez has so many goals to his name). The game was 0-0 and Suarez became so desperate he bit Chiellini with his famous buck teeth. Chiellini understandably recoiled in pain, dropping to the ground. This marks the third time Suarez has bitten someone on the pitch in what is undoubtedly unsportsmanlike conduct.

Luis Suarez

Suarez denied the claim, but his actions were so brazen and video footage of the incident so clear, there was no doubt for audiences that he engaged in biting (again). FIFA has assessed a 9 match ban against Suarez, effectively kicking him out of the World Cup. Suarez is also banned from playing for the first 4-months of the new season and was issued a $112,000 fine. Suarez plays for Liverpool in the top rated Premier League. He has flown to Barca (FC Barcelona) in Spain's La Liga, hoping to sign with them in the region of $100,000,000. However, Barca beware. Suarez is a loose cannon that poses a liability to the team. Some have blamed the Uruguay national team and Liverpool, but this is a Suarez issue and he alone should bear the blame for this misbehavior.

Best Twitter meme on Suarez biting, shows popular footballers in the World Cup as children. Take a look at Suarez's photo at the bottom right (haha)

Side Bar: My dad, a former football player for the Jamaican national team is stunned at Suarez's conduct. He stated to me over the phone that he's seen football players kick and push other footballers, "But what is this dog football where there's biting?" Haha!

Usain Bolt Asked To Join National Football Team

Usain Bolt

The new coach of the Jamaican national football team, Winfried Schäfer, has expressed an interest in gold medal winning sprint star, Usain Bolt, joining the squad for the 2018 World Cup. For years Bolt has stated he would love to play football, especially for his favorite team Manchester United (being the Arsenal fan I am, I’m gagging right now LOL).

Usain Bolt at Manchester United's Old Trafford grounds

My dad was one of the youngest players ever to play for the Jamaican national team and it is one of his fondest memories. Two years ago, my dad stated he saw Bolt play football and he scored "a solid goal" but was concerned possible injury would negatively impact his sprinting career. He was also one of the charity organizers of a football game Bolt participated in a year ago. He's seen him play and thinks he has potential. My dad, who also coached football and cricket in Jamaica, is longtime friends with Bolt's coach Glen Mills and expressed his hope to him during a conversation that Bolt would dedicate his time to smashing every sprint record he can, as he is fully capable of doing so. That should come first.

However, this new offer issued by Schäfer this month is for the 2018 World Cup. Bolt has stated he plans to compete in the 2016 Rio Olympic games, after experiencing great gold medal success in Beijing (2008) and London (2012). If training with the Jamaican national squad for the 2018 World Cup comes after and will not interfere with Rio 2016, Bolt should definitely go for it, as it would be a wonderful experience and set a record. Continued success to Bolt.

Schäfer wants Bolt to be Reggae Boy

Published: Sunday | March 2, 2014 - IMAGINE Jamaica tackling Mexico, Honduras, the United States, or any other football team for that matter. The team is pushed back into defence, then wins the ball and launches a counter attack. On the end of that play is Usain Bolt. Winfried Schäfer wants that to be a reality.

The German, who officially signed on as head coach of the Reggae Boyz for the 2018 World Cup campaign, is ready to provide the world's fastest man an opportunity to utilise his much-stated football ambition, only this time in the national team. "In the German newspaper, I read about Usain Bolt saying he wants to play football and he wants to play in Manchester. He's a Jamaican and I want him to be on our team," Schäfer told The Sunday Gleaner, while conducting duties as guest editor for the company's World Cup project, which will be launched on Tuesday.

The sprint icon has openly stated his love for football with English Premier League team Manchester United being his international team of choice. He has even been there for training, having gotten an invitation from legendary coach Sir Alex Ferguson. He has also played a number of charity games locally, displaying good skills and a hard left-footed kick, oftentimes scoring. While in his homeland for Christmas holidays, Schäfer said he received more encouraging news about Bolt's footballing skills, which spiked his interest.

"I heard from Puma, the Puma boss, (Bjorn Gulden, CEO). He said he (Bolt) played many times on the small team and he's not bad. "But we can make him better," Schäfer remarked. "When he has good training with our team here in Jamaica, we can make him a very good player. He's very fast, that's clear, but when he learns with the ball then he'll be one of the best players.

Jamaican hero

"This is our goal," the Reggae Boyz coach insisted. "Maybe after the Olympics in Brazil (2016), I want to see him here in our training, that is what I want to tell him...

Paris Hilton Upset By Claims She Smuggled Drugs In Her Vagina

Paris Hilton drunk at the club

Spoiled socialite, Paris Hilton, is angry at allegations, she smuggled drugs inside her vagina, so as not to be detected by airport authorities. Hilton, a full fledged drug addict and alcoholic, was arrested in Las Vegas last month on cocaine charges. Three months prior, she was arrested in South Africa, during the World Cup, for marijuana possession. Hilton is clearly traveling with drugs.

The smuggling allegation was recently made in a forthcoming book, by a former cameraman of Joe Fracis' Girl Gone Wild company. In the book, Ryan Simkin states, Francis sent friend Hilton illegal drugs for personal use.

When Simkin questioned how Hilton would get the illegal narcotics through airport security, she illustrated she would insert the Joe Camel cigarette box of cocaine, into her vagina and smuggle it to her next destination. A whole cigarette box! See Paris Hilton's expression in that picture up top, well, that's probably most people's stunned expression now at the cigarette box story.

Interpol Judiciary Report note to airport security: Paris Hilton needs full cavity searches when she rolls through. Er, medically speaking, tell her to cough and see what happens.

Is there any wonder her grandfather disinherited the family. Is such conduct really necessary, Paris. Most people that smuggle drugs, do so due to financial lack. Hilton did so to get high and continues to drag her family's name through the mud.

Paris Hilton Charged With Drug Possession

Paris Hilton's mug shot

The Las Vegas Police have filed an indictment against socialite, Paris Hilton, charging her with cocaine possession. Hilton was arrested Friday, August 28, 2010, after a routine traffic stop in front of the Wynn Hotel, in Las Vegas, led to cocaine falling out of her purse. The driver of the vehicle, her boyfriend, Cy Waits, tested positive for cocaine.

Hilton initially told police the purse does not belong to her. As mentioned previously, she did the same thing in South Africa, during the 2010 World Cup, when she was arrested for marijuana possession. However, Hilton has changed her story this week to state the purse is hers, as she had supposedly loaned it to a friend, diverging from the statement she gave police last Friday. This ever-changing story has damaged her already tattered credibility.

Hilton's lawyer, David Chernoff, has asked the public and press not to rush to judgment, which is a tall order, considering there are a number of photos online of his client doing drugs or being photographed with illegal substances (cocaine). Hilton faces 1-4 years in prison and a fine. After Hilton was released from jail, her boyfriend, was not, as the story was, Cy Waits in jail. He later made bail.

Paris Hilton Arrested For Cocaine Possession

Paris Hilton

Once again, Kabbalah member Paris Hilton, has found herself on the wrong side of the law. The blight of the Hilton family, was arrested in Las Vegas last night, with cocaine in her purse. Police pulled over the car she was a passenger in, as the driver, her boyfriend, Cy Waits, was under the influence of drugs. A search of the vehicle revealed cocaine in Paris' purse.

Coincidentally, Hilton was arrested in South Africa during the World Cup on charges of weed possession. Then, like now, Hilton claimed the drugs and the purses they were carried in, are not hers, in pathetic legal bids to avoid jail.

Hilton had stayed out of trouble for three years, after being incarcerated for repeat DUIs in Los Angeles, but apparently another stint in jail is required to refresh her memory on the dangers of illegal conduct and running afoul of the law.

Her grandfather, Conrad Hilton, has basically disinherited Paris and much of the family, opting to leave the bulk of his estate to charity. At least the money may go to some good, rather than in a drug dealer's pocket or for more plastic on Paris's mother Kathy Hilton.

It must be disappointing to work one's life to build something, then watch one's offspring and their children, begin squander it all as lay-abouts that destroy the family's name.

Shakira & Sony Stole Music From African Artists

Shakira: do they really think I'm gonna pay them!

Sony Music singer, Shakira has been sued for stealing music from an African music group. Cameroon singing group, Golden Sounds (Zangalewa), filed the lawsuit regarding Shaira's 2010 World Cup song, "Waka Waka."

They allege Shakira and her label Sony, have stolen music and lyrics from their preexisting 1980's song “Zangalewa.” The group found out about the song theft the hard way, like most copyright holders whose works are infringed, receiving a nasty shock whilst listening to the radio one day.

Another African artist in Cameroon, Kéké Kassiry, spotted elements of his preexisting copyrighted works in "Waka Waka" as well. He has joined with Golden Sounds and have initiated litigation against Shakira and Sony. Really, at the end of the day, what does Shakira or Sony known about African music.

It is not uncommon in Hollywood for multiple artists' preexisting works to be infringed for the same derivative song. During a legal case against chronic copyright thief, Mariah Carey, a recording studio worktape revealed the singer stealing an indie artist's copyrighted song.

Carey was heard on the official studio worktape, talking about items to pilfer from the unknown's song and pairing it with other elements she was taking from a preexisting, released, George Michael track, all without permission or payment, for the same tune she was recording.

African artistes accuse Shakira

Posted on Thursday 15 July 2010 - 15:42 - FIFA World Cup 2010 song Waka Waka (This Time for Africa) written and performed by Colombian-born singer Shakira is stirring copyright controversies. Initially, it aroused some consternation among some Africans, especially those in the music world, why an African artiste was not chosen to do a song destined for a World Cup hosted in Africa.

But now, it’s getting deeper as some African musicians have begun to accuse Shakira of plagiarizing the rhythm and lyrics of Waka Waka, and are demanding compensation for copyright infringement.

First, the Cameroonian mid-80s musical group Golden Sounds (now called Zangalewa) publicly accused Shakira of using without permission their 1985 title “Zangalewa”, which now sounds “Saminamina” in Shakira’s remix...

Immediately after Golden Sounds’ proclamation, another African singer this time from Cote D’Ivoire - Kéké Kassiry – said Waka Waka belonged to him originally. In an interview with Ivorian newspaper Notre Voie, Kassiry declared that he recorded his version in 1986 and duly registered its right with a copyright society in France...
