Protests Erupt As Police Officer Not Charged For Shooting Unarmed Mentally Ill Black Man 14 Times For Sleeping In A Park

Dontre Hamilton

31-year-old Dontre Hamilton was beaten, shot and killed by police officer, Christopher Manney, in acts that prompted many protests in Milwaukee, Wisconsin this past weekend. Activists were also arrested for shutting down a major highway. Manney beat, then shot Hamilton 14 times, after receiving a call stating he was sleeping in a public park. However, two other officers had already checked on Hamilton twice and stated he was not engaging in any wrongdoing.

Many have deemed Hamilton's shooting death excessive force and correctly so. No one should be shot to death for sleeping in a public park. This is unreasonable and irrational. Hamilton has a documented history of mental illness, which led to him sleeping in the park. The Milwaukee Police Department stated in a formal review that Manney violated established rules in frisking a mentally ill individual, which agitated Hamilton. Manny has since been fired from the Milwaukee Police Department for deliberately ignoring orders that Hamilton was mentally ill and using the inappropriate course of action in approaching him.

Christopher Manney

The District Attorney, John Chisholm stated, "This was a tragic incident for the Hamilton family and for the community. But, based on all the evidence and analysis presented in this report, I come to the conclusion that Officer Manney's use of force in this incident was justified self-defense and that defense cannot be reasonably overcome to establish a basis to charge Officer Manney with a crime."

In response to the decision, the ACLU stated, "If Officer Christopher Manney did not violate the law, then is anyone legally responsible for Mr. Hamilton's death? Does the criminal law protect individuals like Mr. Hamilton from deadly force exercised by police officers? Are police officers above the law"

No charges for Milwaukee officer who shot man 14 times

A former Milwaukee police officer will not be charged with a crime for the shooting death of a 31-year-old man with a history of mental illness that has spurred protests, the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office announced Monday. The April 30 shooting of Dontre Hamilton in a downtown park by Officer Christopher Manney inspired a series of protests in Milwaukee, including one over the weekend that led to dozens of activists being arrested after shutting down I-43. Manney shot Hamilton 14 times during an incident that occurred after workers at a nearby Starbucks called police to complain about him sleeping in Milwaukee's Red Arrow Park...

'Love And Hip Hop Atlanta' Reality Star's Stabbing And Beating Done By Co-Star's Sister

When Reality TV Becomes Too Real

Bambi and Lil Scrappy

Bambi Johnson of the VH1 reality show "Love And Hip Hop Atlanta" stated her sister, Stephanie Harp, is the individual behind the bathroom stabbing and beating of co-star, Erica Pinkett. Erica's arm was sliced open with a razor. She was also punched in the face and knocked to the ground during the attack. Bambi also stated she did not order the attack on her rival Pinkett.

Erica Pinkett

The problem is most people will not believe Bambi did not have something to do with the vicious attack, as Erica has been having a sexual relationship with her boyfriend, rapper Lil Scrappy. Bambi has been jealous of Erica for this reason and made statements that caused her sister to attack Pinkett in a violent manner that resulted in her arrest in Atlanta.

Man Arrested For Beating Up V. Stiviano And Calling Her 'A F****** N*gger' Over Donald Sterling Losing The Los Angeles Clippers (Photo)

Donald Sterling

Police arrested Dominick Diorio in New York, for issuing racial slurs and beating up, V. Stiviano, the mistress of former Los Angeles Clippers owner, Donald Sterling. Diorio and an unnamed male attacked Stiviano after she dined at restaurant in a New York hotel, days before a CNN television interview.

Dominick Diorio

Stiviano, who is black and Hispanic (Mexican), blew the whistle on Sterling's racist conduct in demanding she not bring black people to his team's basketball games. She released secretly made audiotape recordings of Sterling's hateful, racist demands. It created a big scandal that led to the NBA kicking him out of the league and forcing the sale of the team.

V. Stiviano

Diorio issuing racial slurs during the assault will upgrade the charges to a hate crime. If convinced of said crimes in a court of law, Diorio faces more time behind bars, as racially fueled attacks carry greater legal penalties. Stiviano sought a doctor for her injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.

Jay Z's Sister-In-Law Solange Beats Him Up In Elevator While Wife Beyonce Stands By Watching With A Smile

Website TMZ bribed an employee of the Standard Hotel in New York (or hacked them) for video footage of singer Solange Knowles, beating up brother-in-law Jay-Z, while his wife Beyonce stood by smiling watching the whole thing unfold. Beyonce's bodyguard tried to restrain Solange, but she broke free twice, with the strength of twelve MMA fighters.

Solange attacked Jay-Z three times in the elevator with kicks and punches, while furiously telling him off. Solange even spat on Jay-Z, showing nothing but contempt for the rapper. Jay-Z, who has been cheating on Beyonce with Rihanna, Rita Ora and other women, was stunned at the butt kicking.

Beyonce, Jay-Z and Solange leaving the elevator after the fight. Solange walked out of the elevator like nothing happened and Beyonce smiled. However, Jay-Z looks panicked and shook up, like Solange slapped the taste out of his mouth.

This scene/sight of Jay-Z and longtime mistress Rihanna which occurred earlier at the event could not have helped things

A few years ago, Jay-Z was caught on film beating up a female fan backstage. On another occasion a British journalist reported seeing Jay-Z punch Beyonce in the arm very hard. However, Jay-Z is obviously scared of Solange Mayweather, who fired off a flurry of punches in the elevator that even Mike Tyson would admire. Jay-Z will never live it down. Solange hit him with the Mayweather (LOL).

Shamichael's mother, Olevia Henderson, has reported the incident to the girls' high school, who've stated they can do nothing about the fight, as it did not occur on school property. However, police are investigating the assault and may bring charges against Sharkeisha, a young woman who is filled with rage.

Video of Sharkeisha beating girl

Some of Sharkeisha's anger may be due to her unusual name which has unquestionably been the butt of jokes for years, as the moment the video was released, people began making wise cracks about it. Sharkeisha needs help, because one day that rage could erupt and kill someone or lead to someone killing her. Let those ways go.

The Man Who Murdered Adrian Peterson's Son Has A History Of Violence Against Women And Children

Adrian Peterson

Ty Doohen, the 2-year-old son of NFL football player, Adrian Peterson, who plays for the Minnesota Vikings, was beaten to death by Joseph Patterson, the boyfriend of Ann "Ashley" Doohen, the mother of the deceased toddler. The story has made headlines in several countries.

Joseph Patterson

Doohen and Peterson briefly dated and she fell pregnant. She did not inform Peterson of the pregnancy, believing the child to be the son of another man. However, when Doohen filed a paternity case regarding Ty, she discovered the man in question was not the father of the tot and that Peterson had sired her child.

Ashley Doohen

Peterson met Ty for the first time as he lay dying in the hospital on Thursday. Patterson initially phoned emergency services reporting Ty had choked on candy. However, medical staff at the hospital inspected the child and formally stated he has injuries "consistent with abuse." Patterson was arrested on assault charges. However, on Friday, little Ty died and the charges are expected to be upgraded to murder.

Ty Doohen

Doohen left Ty with Patterson while she went shopping, when the deadly incident occurred. Just days prior to this story, the Judiciary Report wrote, "Women also need to be careful regarding leaving their sons with male or female strangers" (Heavy Public Criticism And Concern Over Chris Brown Stating He Lost His Virginity At Age 8). The death of Ty Doohen is another example of this. There are some great, decent people out there, but there are unethical ones as well. Sometimes you don't know who you're dealing with until something bad happens.

Ty Doohen

It has since emerged, Patterson was accused of violently beating the child of an ex-girlfriend to the point the mother stated she had to use ice to bring down the swelling and welts on the child’s buttocks. The unnamed woman obtained a restraining order against Patterson to protect herself and her child. Patterson was also accused of domestic violence in another case.

Rihanna And Chris Brown Hit The Town Looking Glum After 'Law And Order SVU' Episode Characterizes Them In Negative Light

Actress depicts singer Rihanna after her domestic violence fight with boyfriend Chris Brown

Singers Chris Brown and Rihanna, who have officially gotten back together, were spotted going out to dinner in Los Angeles, California, looking glum and depressed. Last week Rihanna was ecstatic about seeing Brown again for her birthday. Yesterday, after the "Law And Order SVU" television program aired thinly veiled episode taking digs at their violent relationship, the couple were spotted out looking depressed.

Rihanna and Chris Brown out to dinner with both looking glum

The embarrassing episode is the talk of the blogosphere, giving the show's producers exactly what they wanted. However, it has put a damper on the couple's reunion and made Rihanna's mentor Jay-Z look like a weak "old man" who's about to get shot by a younger rival with no respect for him. Not good for Jay-Z's street cred. The question is will any of the parties depicted in the episode address the humiliating characterizations.

Rihanna held her head down as she went to dinner with Chris Brown last night

The irony is as much as the television episode was inaccurate in a few matters regarding the incident and the couple's volatile relationship, it wasn't that far off in other matters concerning them. The question is will the public be able to separate fact from fiction and will the show serve as warning or self-fulfilling prophecy to the couple. At the rate Rihanna is going, she is more likely to die of a drug overdose.

Public Divided On Law And Order SVU Episode Slamming Chris Brown And Rihanna’s Domestic Violence Issues

Yesterday’s incendiary episode of "Law And Order" featuring a take off of the troubled and violent relationship of singers Rihanna and Chris Brown was met with public approval and insults. Brown’s fans, Team Breezy, are upset, as the show painted him as an arrogant, cheating, violent, murderous man who only cares about himself. The show portrayed Rihanna as a deluded doormat committing perjury in defending a man who does not love her.

Domestic violence groups and many other members of the public were in favor of the show, taking one simple message from it - if Rihanna stays with Chris Brown, under the level of violence he has exhibited towards her thus far, particularly almost choking her to death, he will eventually murder her. Something for both of them to think about…and whether the relationship is worth it.

Chris Brown Says Rihanna Has Forgiven Him For Beating Her But The Public Has Not

Rihanna and Chris Brown

R&B singer and felon, Chris Brown, did an interview with the Mirror newspaper in the UK, where he spoke of the 2009 domestic violence incident between himself and girlfriend, music model, Rihanna. Brown is still on probation over the case and faces a violation hearing regarding it.

This week, Brown stated of the fight, "It was the deepest regret of my life, the biggest mistake...Sometimes you row, you fight, with the one you love and things get said, stuff spirals. But she loves me -- what can I say? I’m forgiven ... but, yes, I worked hard for it...People attack me and criticise me, it happens all the time ... But they don’t know me, and they don’t know us. It doesn’t bother me any more ... Other people can judge us but they don’t know anything."

Kris Jenner Accused By Husband Of Beating And Kicking Kim Kardashian As A Child

Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner, also known as Mommy Dearest

The late attorney, Robert Kardashian, father of reality star, Kim Kardashian, accused his ex-wife, Kris Jenner of beating and kicking their daughter as a child. His explosive claims have been made public via his diary.  An August 24, 1989 entry to his diary stated, "Kris was kicking and beating her and said she was going to kill her! Kim was hysterical. Kris then got on the phone and said, ‘Kim if you don’t get up here right now you are dead!"

"Mommy Dearest" movie still

That's definitely abuse. Kardashian's behavior from growing up in a dysfunctional household, where her mom beat her and cheated on her dad, certainly did damage to her mind. She has since slept with half the entertainment industry and made many other poor choices.

Justin Bieber Sued By Former Bodyguard For Beating Him And Withholding Back Pay

Justin Bieber (whoever put you in those pants is who deserves the beating - kidding)

There must be something in the water in Hollywood, because stars are swinging on people, who can put a serious beat down on them. First Gabriel Aubry swings on Halle Berry's fiancé, former professional boxer, Olivier Martinez and catches the beat down of his life.

Now a lawsuit alleges 18-year-old pop star, Justin Bieber, began beating on his former bodyguard, Moshe Benabou, who the star previously said was like a brother to him. Benabou stated he did not fight back, as he did not wish to hurt Bieber (that's the understatement of the century, because Bieber would have lost that fight). The lawsuit contends Bieber also withheld back pay.

Before you say it didn't happen, one can't help but think about the fact Bieber beat up a paparazzo last year and in the process lost his shoe (boo boo, we're gonna get you some Ritalin, because you have got to calm down). The case was referred to district attorney, but no charges have been filed.

The teen star has been having a rough 2013 and it's only January. First his girlfriend Selena Gomez dumped him, a paparazzo outed him on smoking marijuana, said photog was then run over and killed by a car, then the marijuana pics surfaced and now this lawsuit for being a bodyguard beater. Either way, they need to make peace with each other, as they used to be friends.

Brutal Rape And Beating Death Of Medical Student In India Leads To Protests (Video)

The government in India has indicted 5 men in the brutal rape, beating and death of a 23-year-old medical student, after the woman and her boyfriend were lured onto a public bus and attacked. The couple were on their way home after a movie, when the bus stopped to pick them up. The 5 men unleashed a furious and vicious attacked raping and beating the young woman, even violating her with an iron bar.

When the attack was over, they threw the couple off the bus, then attempted to run over her, which prompted her injured boyfriend to pull her out of the way. However, her injuries were too severe and two weeks later she died from organ failure. This incident has sparked protests in India with the government vowing to address the people's concerns. It can be difficult being a woman in this world. Human rights for women need to be improved globally.

Def Jam Records Rapper Lil Reese Seen Brutally Beating Woman On Video

Warning: Video contains violence and profane language

This terrible trend of violence against women has got to stop. It is not funny or cute. Chicago gang member Lil Reese, who has been signed to a record deal with Def Jam and Interscope (the latter is the distributor for Glory Boys Entertainment), is the subject of a viral video that exposes the rapper as a woman beater. Lil Reese is seen attacking and brutally beating a young woman. As the unprovoked attack escalates, he begins stomping on her head, in conduct that is positively criminal.

Reese has since apologized on Twitter, after initially trying to excuse his conduct, which is very troubling, "'Everybdy makes mistakes. I was out of charcter & ive grown sense then Dont judge me for my past i can admit my wrongs and I apologize.#3hunna.” Reese originally stated, "'The haters tryna see a mf Dwn lol Dey gotta b broke and bored wanna upload sum s--- from years ago damnn we winnin it’s 2 late...#3hunna.'”

Lil Reese

It's ironic that he can't see that based on the violent video, he is the hater. The Chicago Sun Times also reported regarding Lil Reese, "He was harshly criticized last month when a Tweet on his account mocked the Englewood slaying of rival rapper Joseph 'Lil JoJo' Coleman, 18."

Def Jam and Interscope have become two of the sewers of the music industry, signing thieving, profane, vicious people to record deals, who have no business being on television or radio with that mindset. Their impact on the public, especially pop culture, is repulsive and regrettable, but as long as the label makes money, they simply do not care. It's a sad indictment of the music industry and Hollywood by extension, where these artists inevitable end up and are embraced for not listening to their conscience and routinely doing the unthinkable.

Another Woman Beaten On A Public Bus Signaling A Regrettable Trend That Must Stop

19-year-old Ernestine Parker says she was attacked and beaten for 8 city blocks by two men on a public bus in Maryland. Parker stated no one on the bus would help her and the driver kept going without stopping during the incident.

This marks the second high profile beating of a public bus patron, as Shidea Lane was beaten by a city bus driver after she allegedly hit him. The Judiciary Report hopes this alarming trend of violence on bus transport in America will stop, as it is unnecessary, dangerous, a safety hazard and will breed costly lawsuits that can be avoided.

Rihanna Tweeting Chris Brown Pandering To Her Cheating Woman Beating Abuser

Rihanna and Chris Brown kissing at the VMA's

According to reports, pop model, Rihanna tweeted boyfriend, R&B singer and pop locker, Chris Brown, to wish him well at his probation hearing in court, regarding the 2009 domestic violence incident that involved him nearly beating her into unconsciousness.

Brown has been messing up on probation, blowing off the terms the judge set for him to adhere to, in order to avoid jail on felony charges. Brown simply doesn't care about Rihanna or the court, as his top priority is himself and how many women he can have sex with and how much drugs he can take.

Chris Brown

He is a walking disaster that refuses to change. Yet, here you have it, Rihanna is cooing over Brown online, calling him baby, making a fool of herself for a dude that not only beat her so badly her face looked like she was in a boxing match and lost, he is sleeping with other women, who are laughing at her behind her back to other people.

There's one word for that - weak! No wonder he doesn't respect her. Brown knows he can do anything he wants, no matter how terrible and Rihanna will let him get away with it. Once again, I reiterate what I stated on the site earlier in the week, how long before he starts beating her up again.

Is It Right For Stars Like Justin Bieber And Brian Austin Green To Beat Up The Paparazzi

Justin Bieber

Recently, Megan Fox's husband, actor Brian Austin Green and pop star, Justin Bieber, got into legal hot water for beating up paparazzi that tried to take their pictures, during separate incidents gone bad. All three stars have been hit with lawsuits, demanding financial compensation for the melees.

Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green

It begs the question, is it right for stars to initiate physical altercations with photographers. The answer is no, as people have the right peace and safety, without fear of being attacked. However, anti-stalking laws need to be applied to aggressive paparazzi, who routinely stalk others and try to create uncomfortable and humiliating situations in which to obtain photos for cash. The general rule of thumb should be keep your distance and keep your hands to yourself.
