Morgan Carey, 51, the brother of singer, Mariah Carey, 45, has slammed her as an "evil witch" for refusing to help her HIV positive sister, Alison Carey, 54, who is dying. Alison, a prostitute, contracted HIV years ago. Alison's health condition has worsened, necessitating brain and spine surgery. Mariah is refusing to financially help Alison with the cost of surgery nor will she speak to her. Morgan stated, "Your sister is dying and she's struggling and where are you? You think you are so fabulous, but you are a witch."

Alison's prostitution fed and clothed the family, including Mariah before she became famous. It also paid for studio time during the early part of Mariah's career, aiding in the singer making a demo tape she later gave to married music mogul, Tommy Mottola. Mariah broke up Mottola's marriage of 20-years, via an adulterous relationship. Mariah then wed Mottola, 20-years her senior, in a marriage that did not last long.

Mariah is being a real sanctimonious hypocrite with her sister, when what she did with Mottola is basically the same thing - whoring out one's self to a man one does not love for financial advancement (Mottola gave Carey a record deal and sizable advance due to their affair). Mariah needs to get off her high horse and help her sister. Scorning people with HIV is not cute. It is downright ugly.

29-year-old Krystal Ortiz is suing Uber and one of its drivers, after she was attacked and left with a broken jaw and bruises on her face and legs. Photos show graphic injuries of a painful order. Ortiz underwent reconstructive surgery to repair her face. Ortiz's Uber driver “Michael“ is accused of physically attacking her after an argument on New Years Eve. Ortiz’s lawyer states the argument erupted after Ortiz asked to use a car phone charger to play music.

The driver then asked her to leave the vehicle. Ortiz questioned why, while secretly recording the argument. It then escalated as the driver knocks the phone out of her hand (which shuts down the recording) and begins punching her in the face. Ortiz stated he knocked her to the ground and kicked her out of the car in an area she was unfamiliar with. A complaint was filed with police and then a lawsuit regarding the alleged battery. The driver has been barred from Uber.

This case marks another example of Uber being unable to assure the public of the safety of its service. Passengers have complained of being assaulted, battered, raped and threatened.
Anyone with a license can sign up to be an Uber driver. It has been discovered that some Uber drivers are uninsured and have criminal records, as no background checks were done. Cab drivers all over the world are complaining about Uber stating they are undercutting their business, not following government regulations and are uninsured.

In some cases, side effects from butt enhancement surgery led to infection and death. 47-year-old Jane Kiiza of London, England, died days after liposuction and a butt enhancement procedure, due to infection. Kiiza's doctor removed fat from her stomach, thighs and back, then inserted it into the cheeks of her behind for a fuller rear end. The goal of the procedure was to rearrange the fat in the body removing it from the areas the patient felt were too big and placing it in the desired region they want enhanced via enlargement. Based on reports, Kiiza's surgery was done correctly, but was high risk due to what the procedure entails.

 In other cases, some have been left with permanent damage from having butt implants. Case in point, Argentinian model, Silvina Luna, who underwent butt enhancement surgery. The procedure entailed, "injecting small acrylic beads suspended in a biological fluid that includes fat from other parts of the body, under the skin of her bum." She ended up with excruciating post-surgical pain and infertile.

It is understandable that people want to have plastic surgery to look their best. However, sometimes it can become excessive and in other cases flat out risky. Some people's hearts can't take it. A small percentage of plastic surgery patients have experienced heart attacks on the operating table, which negatively impacted the brain. In some cases it resulted in fatalities. At the end of the day, realize that surgery has risks. Complications can arise. Pick a reputable, licensed doctor and don't overdo it.

But it triggered a cascade of infection that tore through her body, killing her when she returned to hospital just four days after the procedure.

The IT consultant from Hampstead in North London is the first British casualty to die from the increasingly popular ‘curve enhancing’ cosmetic operation known as a Brazilian lift. Although no official statistics exist, the procedure is said to claim lives annually in the US and South America, where it is highly demanded by women hoping to emulate the hour-glass figures of celebrities such as singer Jennifer Lopez and reality TV star Kim Kardashian.

Named after the famous beach-loving country where it became popular, it involves removing fat from the abdomen and re-injecting some of it into the buttock area. It is a serious but relatively routine procedure. Tests found no traces of the bacteria in the privately-run theatre or iodine supplies at the Clementine Churchill Hospital in Harrow. Senior Coroner Andrew Walker ruled Ms Kiiza's death was a result of complications from the operation...

This is a follow up to the Judiciary Report article "Singers, Take Care Of Your Voices." Legendary award winning singer/actress, Julie Andrews, famous for the 1965 classic musical film "The Sound Of Music" became a household name for her golden voice and compelling acting abilities. The soprano began to experience vocal trouble for which she sought medical treatment.

When basic treatment options did not correct the problem, in 1997 Andrews underwent surgery at Mount Sinai in New York, with the hope of halting the damage to her voice. However, Andrews contends the surgery destroyed her already damaged voice. Andrews sued and the case was settled out of court.

Mariah Carey's vocal cords have been repeatedly bleeding at regular intervals for two decades, due to releasing many albums back to back in her favored melismatic style, with little and sometimes no rest between projects. Coupled with drug and alcohol use, Carey's voice is damaged.

Soprano singers such as Mariah Carey belt out notes full throttle to impress audiences and critics, which creates vocal cord damage. Over time it begins to deplete the voice (as does alcoholism and drug use - two other issues Carey struggles with). Doctors have done examinations of singers' throats after such vocally taxing sessions and performances, only to find bleeding vocal cords. If left untreated, over time it leads to permanent damage and the loss of vocal ability (especially upper octave notes).

Athletes don't perform at sporting event after sporting event with injuries, as they will become permanent if left untreated and not given the chance to heal. Neither should singers sing day after day with damaged vocal cords. The voice needs rest to repair itself as best it can. Illegal drugs and hard liquor should also be avoided. Singers need to evaluate their studio practices and performances very carefully to determine if they are damaging their voices. At the end of the day, your voice is irreplaceable. It is your stock in trade. Take care of it and make wise decisions that will allow your voice to last as long as possible.

Two fans have initiated a $5,000,000 class action lawsuit in Las Vegas, Nevada against boxing star, Manny Pacquiao, over a shoulder injury he sustained in preparation for his fight against Floyd Mayweather, who was awarded the win in a unanimous decision. The two men claim Pacquiao hid the injury and they and others were somehow defrauded. Within hours, a few more fans filed a second lawsuit alleging the same. These lawsuits can be deemed frivolous.

Pacquiao team did disclose the injury to the boxing commission the day of the fight. They requested an anti-inflammatory, but were denied, fearing it would give him an undue advantage during the bout against Mayweather. The injury occurred three weeks prior to the fight. As most people in the sports industry know, injuries happen.

My question is what was Pacquiao supposed to do? Cancel the fight after people paid millions to see him box Mayweather. Many millions would have been lost in fees and additional costs to reset the fight date. Such a delay could have meant Mayweather changing his mind about the bout, due to his impending retirement. Furthermore, Mayweather stated he fought injured as well.

As someone who sustained a torn rotator cuff in the right arm/shoulder that was diagnosed at the University of Miami last year, I can tell you it is painful and makes you cautious about using the arm. One doctor stated I should lift light weights to recuperate/rehabilitate the arm/shoulder (I've seen some improvement but the problem is still there) while my main doctor stated the arm needs surgery and this contraption for 8-weeks (oh that is not cute LOL):

Carson stated, "Certainly I’m a strong proponent of privacy of health care information, but you can certainly reveal that a patient has been tested and is negative to allay hysteria because when you have a situation where you're acting if a secretive manner, people have a tendency to assume the worst. So you have to be smart enough to weigh one thing against the other. You can't just sort of have blinders on and say ‘privacy, privacy, privacy’ and there's a riot going on outside. So, that's where wisdom comes in."

Carson also criticized Obamacare labeling it, "The worst thing since slavery." Carson further stated, "It is slavery because it aims to make all of us subservient to the government. It was never about health care. It was all about control." 

As the Judiciary Report has repeatedly stated in articles, America needs a health care program, but Obamacare has significant problems and they are not being address. Doctors all over America are complaining about Obamacare and turning patients away. Obamacare has a significant amount of paperwork attached to it for medical offices and if the documents are not completed or done correctly, the patient will not be allowed to see a doctor, as the physician will not be paid. There are also too many kickbacks and clauses in Obamacare and it will impact the national debt.

The President would do well to start listening to medical professionals like Ben Carson rather than insisting on his own way all the time when it comes to health care. President Obama is not a doctor nor is he a scientist. He is a lawyer.

When I was a kid Carson spoke at a school I attended, telling students about his life, the troubles he encountered from peer pressure and working his way to success. It was very inspiring. Over a decade after that speech, Carson, a skilled, innovative surgeon, also performed surgery on one of my family friends when she was a preteen (her initials are A.B.).

My friend felt ill and doctors discovered a growth in her brain, bordering the stem. Doctors in Miami stated there would be a 90 percent chance she would die on the operating table if she underwent surgery, as the growth was so embedded and in a very sensitive region of the brain.

Carson, who was out of state, heard about the medical emergency and was touched by the case. He offered to perform the risky surgery and for free. Last rites were administered before the surgery (that should let you know how bad her prognosis was at the time), as family and friends also prayed she would make it through the complicated surgery. I'm happy to report, over a decade later, my friend is alive and well and just graduated from law school. God still performs miracles.

Judge Blocks Hospital From Switching Off Life Support On Brain Dead Girl Jahi McMath For One Week (Video)

Hospital Refuses To Perform Surgery On Brain Dead Teen To Prepare Her For Nursing Home

Today, a California judge granted a last minute reprieve to the family of Jahi McMath, a 13-year-old girl, who was to be switched off life support this evening. A time extension has been granted to January 7, 2014. The Children's Hospital Oakland botched a tonsillectomy on McMath, who then began hemorrhaging and experiencing cardiac arrest.

Last week, the hospital had a local court declare McMath brain dead and petitioned for permission to switch off life support. The court granted their legal request, issuing a court order to that effect. This week, the hospital is refusing to perform a tracheotomy and the surgical insertion of a feeding tube on McMath, a prerequisite for long term care homes to accept the minor child. The hospital has stated they do not perform such procedures on patients they deem dead.

As a result, two long term care nursing homes in California reneged on their offer to accept McMath as a patient to their facility. The family has since found another nursing home in New York. However, it is still contingent on a tracheotomy being performed and feeding tube insertion.

The hospital is now stating the family needs to find a physician willing to perform the necessary surgeries to prepare McMath for a nursing home. The family has raised $27,000 on GoFundMe.com to move McMath to a nursing home.

 The Judiciary Report is of the belief, the Children's Hospital Oakland needs to perform the tracheotomy and feeding tube insertion for free, as their surgeon put McMath in this unresponsive medial state. It's the least the hospital could do, as a routine tonsillectomy should not have ended in hemorrhaging, cardiac arrest and brain death. And let's not forget, you are dealing with a child. A significant amount of sensitivity to a terrible situation needs to be utilized.

A California court has given the order to remove lovely 13-year-old girl Jahi McMath from life support after a tonsil surery went awry at the Children's Hospital Oakland in California. McMath began to bleed after surgery and went into cardiac arrest. Shortly after, the minor was declared brain dead by the hospital and now the court as well.

A nursing home had agred to provide long term care for McMath, but reneged at the last minute. However, McMath's mother, who appeared on television heartbroken over her daughter's medical state, has found another undisclosed nursing home that will accept McMath.

The Children's Hospital Oakland is expected to be sued for negligence and the doctor who performed the tonsillectomy surgery, brought into civil court for malpractice. Much of the details surrounding the medical aspect of what transpired has not been released to the public, due to the hospital citing HIPAA laws, regarding patient privacy.

NCAA and University of Louisville basketball player, Kevin Ware, sustained a gruesome injury on the court this past weekend, which shocked the sports world. Ware landed badly on his right leg which snapped in two places. The horrible injury brought his coach, teammates and audiences to tears.

A Second Person's Face Catches Fire During Surgery

Another person's face has caught fire during surgery, the second in less than a week. Tommy Beams was undergoing an operation at Grays Hospital in Seattle Washington, when his face was accidentally set on fire by the surgical team. He was transported to Harborview Medical Center with second degree burns. Beams recounted his traumatic experience on television, speaking of looking at himself in the mirror for the first time with extensive burns and becoming distressed. He also stated, "The physical pain is tremendous."

It is widely accepted the presence of a cauterizing tool (heat/flame), isopropyl alcohol on the patient's skin sterilization and oxygen, via the mask or tube, is responsible for the fire. Is the isopropyl alcohol not dried into the skin properly before surgery. Are oxygen tubes less likely to cause fires in said environment than oxygen masks, which create a vacuum over the nose and mouth (or vice versa). Statistics indicate 600 fires occur during surgery each year, but detailed data has not been released for full comparison and hypothesis (some of the information may violate patient privacy).

During a routine operation to remove cysts at Florida's Crestview Surgery Center, a subsidiary of North Okaloosa Medical Center, 29-year-old Kim Grice's face was accidentally set on fire by the operating theater's staff, leaving the young mother with second degree burns and emotional trauma. They just flambéd her face. Grice awoke in her hospital room to find her panicked family surrounding her, reluctant to tell her what had happened.

Wow that poor lady. She has a long road ahead of her, but at least she is alive. The hospital has apologized, but it is safe to assume, her lawyer is currently searching for a new Florida mansion to purchase. However, it is better to have one's health, with the incident never having occurred, than the money.

What is going on in Florida. A fake doctor is putting cement in people's faces and butts, while a real doctor accidentally sets a patient's face on fire. This has not been a good month for the medical community in Florida. It's a shame, because there are good doctors in the state.
