Two Vanderbilt Players Found Guilty Of Rape And Are Facing A Potential 15-Years In Prison (Video)

Two 21-year-old Vanderbilt university students, Brandon Vandenburg and Cory Batey, were found guilty of rape, stemming from a 2013 incident. The former football players were convicted of raping Vandenburg's girlfriend and filming the ordeal. The men sent the graphic video to friends, none of whom reported the crime to police.

The video showed Vandenburg passing around his drunk, unconscious girlfriend to his teammates. She was thrown on the floor, then penetrated with fingers and penises and her anus violated with a water bottle, as Vandenburg chanted, "Squeeze that sh*t! Squeeze that sh*t! Vandenburg's girlfriend was found the next morning in the dorm corridor by a female friend. Shortly after it was discovered she had been raped. The two remaining suspects, Brandon Banks and Jaborian McKenzie, both age 20, will be tried at a later date.

Brandon Vandenburg

The defense attempted to blame the rape on binge drinking and promiscuity, which is a serious problem facing youth in society. However, the jury rejected the claim, insisting the young men be held responsible for their damaging conduct. The jury reached a quick verdict in four minutes, finding Vandenburg and Batey guilty.

The Judiciary Report has repeatedly warned against binge drinking and promiscuity. What can seem like a good time at first, can quickly spiral out of control and lead to terrible situations and lasting damage. People have been raped, assaulted, injured and contracted life altering STDs (sexually transmitted diseases) from being promiscuous and or drunk. If you choose to drink, be responsible and do not test your limits by getting drunk. It can endanger your safety and will damage your health.

Cory Batey

Pop culture, especially certain celebrities, encourage people to be promiscuous, labeling women prudes and men nerds, losers and wimps, for not having sex with as many people as possible. However, there is always a consequence for living in that manner. Take care of yourselves and realize in life, you can't trust everyone. Bad things can happen, even when you are not at fault. Therefore, be careful and avoid certain situations.

2 former Vanderbilt players are convicted of rape

January 27, 2015 - A jury convicted two former Vanderbilt players on Tuesday of raping an ex-student, rejecting claims they were too drunk to know what they were doing and that a college culture of binge drinking and promiscuous sex should be blamed for the attack. A jury convicted two former Vanderbilt players on Tuesday of raping an ex-student, rejecting claims they were too drunk to know what they were doing and that a college culture of binge drinking and promiscuous sex should be blamed for the attack.

The jury deliberated for three hours before announcing Tuesday that Brandon Vandenburg and Cory Batey, both 21, were guilty of aggravated rape and aggravated sexual battery. The victim, a 21-year-old neuroscience and economics major at the time of the June 2013 attack, cried as each guilty verdict was announced in Nashville, Tenn. The men face decades in prison when they are sentenced March 6.

The jury heard two weeks of testimony from a parade of witnesses, including police, former and current Vanderbilt students and the woman, who said she didn’t remember what happened that night, only that she woke up in a strange dormitory room. They also saw cellphone images from the night of the attack Vandenburg sent to friends as it was happening. Despite the photos and video, and witnesses seeing the woman unconscious and at least partially naked in a dorm hallway, no one reported it.

Jaborian “Tip” McKenzie, who is also charged in the case, testified he did not touch the woman himself but also took pictures. No trial date has been set for McKenzie and Brandon Banks, the fourth former player accused in the assault...

The Lawyer Representing Jameis Winston's Accuser Tries To Cast Negative Shadow Over Heisman Ceremony

Jameis Winston

Attorney Patricia Caroll, the aunt of Jameis Winston's accuser, Erica Kinsman, resurfaced yesterday via a publicity seeking press conference, after disappearing for much of this month. Prosecutors declined to charge Winston with the alleged rape of Kinsman, as the evidence is so shoddy and so is her story, which is full of holes and inconsistencies. After Caroll's press conference, the governor and state attorney's office in Florida released statements revealing they are declining to investigate the Tallahassee Police and the case is closed.

Caroll stated during the press conference, the Tallahassee Police did not include an item in the case, indicating Kinsman had a lumbar strain, listed in the medical report, after she went to the hospital. The fact of the matter is the public does not know how Kinsman developed the lumbar strain. It can happen in a number of ways. It is not a definitive indicator of rape or sexual assault.

Patricia Caroll at press conference she called yesterday

Caroll is stating authorities have questions to answer in this case. However, she and her niece are the ones who needs to answer some questions. Caroll needs to answer queries such as why photos of Jameis Winston and his side chick, her niece, Kinsman, wearing FSU gear, were deleted from her Facebook page according to students at the university. People connected to the team stated he and Kinsman secretly hooked up, but she became angry and offended when he wouldn't dump his out-of-state girlfriend for her (Breion Allen).

Caroll and Kinsman need to answer why social networking and several blogs are stating photos and hashtags that were on Twitter revealed, Kinsman was apart of the proudly self-proclaimed "Cleat Chasers" who got their stripes by having sex with Florida State football players (such as Winston).

Caroll and Kinsman need to answer why she and her niece did not follow up with the Tallahassee Police, having changed their minds about claims they'd made regarding Winston (also known as recanting). This failure to follow up brought the case to a screeching halt.

Caroll and her niece also need to answer why they wasted taxpayer money playing games, when a second man's DNA was discovered on her shorts, with Kinsman refusing to give his name. It cost the Florida taxpayers money when the government had to stop to investigate the men in Kinsman's life to ascertain the identity of the unnamed man/DNA, who turned out to be her boyfriend all the way in Ohio.

Jameis Winston and girlfriend Breion Allen

Kinsman could have easily given his name, saving the taxpayers money, but refused. She didn't want her boyfriend to find out she had cheated on him and with a football player. Rumors in Tallahassee allege, when her boyfriend finally found out about Winston, he attacked her. Is this where the lumbar strain came from.

For Caroll and Kinsman to be slamming the Tallahassee Police, when they failed to do their part in two notable incidents that greatly impeded the investigation at taxpayers' expense, lends a certain impression of hypocrisy regarding their criticism. The fact of the matter is there was a great lack of cooperation on Caroll and Kinsman's part, which would give any police force pause, like their time is being wasted.

It's quite telling that Caroll has resurfaced on the eve of the Heisman trophy being awarded, as it gives the impression she is trying mar the ceremony if Winston wins. Why now and not two weeks ago when the district attorney announced in a press conference there would be no charges against Winston, due to lack of evidence in the case and holes in Kinsman's story.

A man declines to make you his main chick, so you ruin his life with a lie. Next time put your big girl panties on and keep it moving. Many women have found out they are the side chick and moved on like grown women. You've wasted taxpayer money, press resources, stressed out a whole school and worst of all, made it that much harder for real rape victims to be heard.

President Obama Slams Kim Kardashian And Kanye West

Uncle Sam...doesn't want Kim and Kanye

President Obama's temper is growing short with his Hollywood Illuminati buddies. First he slammed rapper Jay-Z, over controversially going to Cuba, trying to pin the blame for the scandal it created on him, then making it doubly worse by releasing a disrespectful song called "Open Letter" mentioning the head of state's name in the same sentence with the word "impeached."

Now he's slammed Illuminati members Kanye West and Kim Kardashian as superficial and bad role models for America's youth. President Obama stated, "The American Dream involved some pretty basic stuff: a good job where you felt some security, a good education. ... People felt if they worked hard, they could get there. ... I don't think people went around saying to themselves, 'I need to have a 10,000-square-foot house' ...I think there has also been a shift in culture. We weren't exposed to the things we didn't have in the same way that kids these days are. There was not that window into the lifestyles of the rich and famous. Kids weren't monitoring every day what Kim Kardashian was wearing or where Kanye West was going on vacation and thinking that somehow that was the mark of success."

Neither are examples of success. Kanye West has been sued by so many people, famous, relatively known and unknown, for copyright infringement, over willfully stealing their preexisting copyrighted music he passed off as his own and collected big checks for. His career is based on theft. Copyright infringement is a domestic and international crime.

Kanye West and Kim Kardashian give kids nothing meaningful to aspire to in society

Kim Kardashian has no talent and became famous off the back of a sex tape. Kids and adults for that matter, should not aspire to be like them. Be the next lawyer, doctor, judge, tech giant, inventor. If you are going into entertainment, learn your craft, develop your talent and don't steal from others, as it always catches up to people and when they least expect it.

The government has not done enough to bring about a sense of equity and fairness in society. The mortgage crisis cost millions their homes mostly due to predatory lending and none of the executives responsible for the crisis have done a day in jail, though they broke the law. many of them retired rich. The bad guys won.

Companies based in fraud ripping off the public and smaller companies, made a fortune in doing so and were allowed to keep the proceeds without spending a day in prison. Meanwhile, due to the aforementioned fraud eroding the job market, kids are graduating from top notch schools and can't find employment.

What example is that to set for impressionable people. The message this has sent is hard work is no longer being rewarded and just because you work hard, don't expect to make it or succeed. The order has been reversed and it caused the financial crisis of 2008 that is still wreaking havoc today. Only cream should rise to the top...not the crap.

NCAA and University of Louisville basketball player, Kevin Ware, sustained a gruesome injury on the court this past weekend, which shocked the sports world. Ware landed badly on his right leg which snapped in two places. The horrible injury brought his coach, teammates and audiences to tears.

But ever the fighter, Ware, in pain, encouraged his team to victory and win they did in honor of their fallen teammate. Ware underwent a successful surgery last night to repair his damaged leg and is on the mend. The Judiciary Report wishes him a speed recovery.

FSU Wins Chick-Fil-A Bowl

FSU coach Jimbo Fisher getting dunked with ice and water (Photo credit: Atlanta Journal Constitution)

FSU won the Chick-Fil-A Bowl in Atlanta last night at the Georgia Dome, defeating South Carolina, who put in a good effort. It was a wonderful cap on a great year for Florida State. Congrats to them. On an interesting note, FSU's Greg Reid was handing out concussions last night. Ouch! I felt it through the TV screen (grin). Thankfully, everyone is okay.

Celluloid Film Review - Post Grad

Title: Post Grad

Year Of Release: 2010

Review Date: November 30, 2010

Rating: PG-13

Running time: 88 minutes

Box Office Gross: $6,405,245

Site Rating: 3 out of 10 stars

"Post Grad" starring Alexis Bledel was an abysmal flop at the box office. What was a good concept, with promise, descended into banality and boredom, once you got past the film's trailer and actually bought a ticket or rented the subsequent DVD. When I saw the trailer I thought "that looks good" but when I watched the movie I was like "Nooooo!"

Bledel stars as Ryden, a young university graduate, disturbed by her friends moving forward with their professional lives, while she can't find a job to reflect the hard work that went into her degree. She is hardworking, but somewhat flighty.

The acting in this film was not the problem. The script was and it let the film down. The movie was nonsensical and unnecessarily vulgar at certain points, while losing track of the theme of the film at other junctures (I've never seen a movie do that before). The idea for the film was poorly executed and dragged on too much, which says a lot considering it was only 88 minutes in duration.

Get The Gators They Did

Crocodile Dundee Gator Dundee

Commendable college teams, FSU and UF, fought to the bitter end, but only one was triumphant in clinching the title. You've heard of "Crocodile Dundee" - well, now there's Gator Dundee, as in the Seminoles (FSU). After years of being taunted by University of Florida (Gators) via a string of wins, Florida State University beat their longtime rivals 31 to 7.

During halftime, FSU Quarterback, Christian Ponder, did his rivals' Gator Chop as a warning, teasing the opposing team of impending defeat. At the end of the game, the Seminoles players celebrated, while holding up the head of a fake Gator. Congrats!

FBI Being Nosy In College Football

Cam Newton

Many FBI agents unwisely spend their evenings getting wasted at local sports bars, whilst watching sports games. So, it shouldn't be any surprise they are sticking their noses into the affairs of university football player, Cam Newton, asking out loud if athletes are being shopped. The FBI are also media whores, so any opportunity for some face time will be pursued.

The FBI is alleging someone took a $1 million dollar bribe in a college football scandal and they do not approve. That's funny, as for months the Judiciary Report has stated, FBI Director, Robert S. Mueller, took a $1 million dollar bribe from Madonna, to look the other way to her criminal misconduct. It's not okay when it happens in football, yet it is okay if the FBI director does it. Talk about a double standard.
