Stabbing At Chris Brown Club Event Is The Latest Tragedy Bringing Trouble To The Singer's Life

Chris Brown

Just as singer Chris Brown begins to get his life and career back on track, trouble strikes again. Beleaguered Brown recently hosted a party at a Los Angeles night club Supperclub and things went wrong. A fight broke out between people in Brown’s entourage and others in attendance, who came there looking for trouble, leading to one man being stabbed. Police are investigating.

This incident occurred one month after witnesses in another night club, 1OAK, reported Chris Brown was the intended target of a drive by shooting, similar to the ones that killed rappers Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G. at the height of their fame. Brown escaped last month’s night club shooting unharmed, as well as the incident that transpired this past weekend.

However, former rap music mogul, Suge Knight, who was in close proximity to Brown during the first club melee last month, was sent to the hospital with six gunshot wounds, stemming from the incident. Knight is expected to make a full recovery, but is refusing to talk to police, refusing to ID the shooter that has been caught on camera. No one that attended the club event Brown hosted last month has been willing to identify the shooter to the police or press.

Brown recently pled guilty to a Washington, DC assault charge, regarding local man, Parker Adams, in a bid at avoiding returning to jail. Brown apologized to the court but did not admit liability. Adams filed a $3,000,000 lawsuit against Brown and his bodyguard Chris Hollosy.

Yesterday, Brown’s new CD “X” debuted at #2 on the Billboard charts, with 143,000 copies sold in its first week of release. The numbers are moderate and indicate the album will go gold in America. "X" also debuted in the top ten of numerous world charts. Brown's hit single released this past summer, entitled “Loyal” has sold an estimated 2,000,000 copies worldwide.

The CD "X" had a number of scrapped release dates over the past several months, due to Brown's legal problems and issues with his former manager illegally withholding his master recordings needed for the project. Brown also unfollowed a number of his fans, some of whom vowed not to buy "X" as a result. These issues definitely affected sales.

Case in point, in August 1994, Brown's label, Sony, had a huge hit with the song "Here Comes The Hot Stepper" by Ini Kamoze. However, Sony waited several months to put together a CD to capitalize on the song's worldwide success. By the time they finally released the accompanying album of the same name, it was January 1995. So much time had past, the lead single had already hit its peak and the full length album did not sell well as a result. By right, with the way sales works, that should not have happened.

Brown and his ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, who were involved in a highly publicized domestic violence dispute in 2009, have made peace with each other (yet her fans calling themselves "The Rihanna Navy" keep attacking him, his girlfriend, Karrueche Tran and anyone who writes anything remotely normal about the couple on social networking). Brown stated of Rihanna, “Me and her are friends. We have a great understanding, there's no issues. We've been friends for almost 10 years and I don't think that's ever gonna change.”

Brown has also made peace with former rival, Drake, who also dated Rihanna, who initiated a club fight between the two men, "I think for me it was more of a mature thing. What I portray in my music is all positivity and who I am as an artist is all positivity because in the world there is so much negativity on a day to day basis. I just feel like it was necessary to put all the old b******t behind us."

Things seem to be turning around for the singer…then this latest stabbing at a night club involving members of his crew occurred. Brown has made enemies in the music industry for rebelling against the system. He also has enemies such as nefarious rapper Jay Z, who does not mean him well. Rihanna's love for Brown has caused this jealously from Jay Z, who she has been having sex with for several years in exchange for career favors, despite the fact he is married to singer Beyonce.

At the end of the day, Brown needs to stop hanging out with gang members he went to for protection against certain music industry criminals, as they have FBI files and so will he in relation to them, if it continues. Brown also needs to stop hanging out with certain music industry bigwigs, because it is attracting trouble. Brown needs to lay low if he wants to survive.

At the end of the day, the music industry can be quite negative. People have been killed in regrettably incidents that should not have occurred. There is a criminal element running through the industry that should not be there, as it has nothing to do with entertainment and everything to do with greed for power, fame and money not their own.

Chris Brown Rejects Plea Deal In Washington Assault Case And Prepares For Trial In September

Chris Brown

TMZ is reporting Chris Brown by way of his attorney, has rejected a plea deal in the Washington assault case against him, regarding local man, Parker Adams, who targeted the singer. It resulted in a confrontation between Adams and Brown and his bodyguard. Adams photobomed Brown, was excessively rude to him and engaged in inappropriate contact, as it was without permission, in trying to come on to the heterosexual crooner.

TMZ states there was a failure to agree on the statement of facts Brown would have to cop a plea to in order to avoid jail in the Washington case. Brown has consistently stated he is not guilty of the charges that have been brought against him. As desperate as Brown is to avoid going back to jail, if he cops a plea in this case and the statement in essence reads he did attack Adams, rather than protecting himself and property (tour bus), it could trigger a probation violation in the Rihanna domestic violence case and send him back to jail in Los Angeles.

Chris Brown Working On A Plea Deal To Avoid Going Back To Jail

R&B singer Chris Brown, through his attorney, is working on striking a plea deal in a bid to not be incarcerated again. Brown recently spent months in a Los Angeles jail on a "probation violation" stemming from the 2009 Rihanna domestic violence dispute, regarding his ex-girlfriend, who now wants him back again.

After his release this month, prosecutors in a separate case in Washington, DC, regarding a matter in which Brown was charged with assault, over a man who followed and photobombed him, pushed for the trial date to be moved up, not happy with the fact Brown was released from the Los Angeles jail earlier than they anticipated, half way into a one year sentence.

Brown and his bodyguard contend local man Parker Adams photobombed the singer, then tried to unlawfully board his tour bus without permission. Pieces of the story are missing, as Adams told authorities when he asked Brown for a photo he stated "I'm not with that gay s***" and punched him, but the singer has taken photos with men before, who posted the images online.

There's more to this story than meets the eye. However, Brown, distressed after spending months in jail, does not want to return to incarceration again and is looking to the plea deal.

Chris Brown Sentenced To 1-Year In Jail For Probation Violation

Chris Brown

R&B singer Chris Brown has been sentenced to 1 year in jail for violating his probation in the Rihanna domestic violence case. Brown had to face Los Angeles Judge James Brandlein on two issues - violating rules set specifically for him in rehab, via touching an employees elbow and arm, when he was ordered to stay two feet away from all female staff and refusing to take a drug test for hours upon his return to the Malibu facility. He passed the subsequent drug test.

Brown has already served 7-weeks in jail. To get a reduced sentence, Brown had to agree that he violated his probation in Washington, via getting into a fight with local man Parker Adams, who stalked and photobombed the beleaguered singer. Otherwise, Brown faced up to 4-years in jail. Brown took the plea deal his lawyer Mark Geragos negotiated. With credit for time served, coupled with significant overcrowding in Los Angeles jails, Brown could be released shortly.

Brown has been depressed and confused over his current legal woes, not fully understanding the legal process regarding what has happened. The judge gave Brown a break and he should take advantage of it upon his release, to make some changes in his life and do his best to avoid certain situations where his security is compromised.

Photos have been released in the Washington assault trial of singer Chris Brown, who sits in jail on a probation violation. Brown's trial has been temporarily delayed. Photos revealed a bloody accuser, Parker Adams, a local man who followed the singer to his tour bus and tried to board it without permission.

Adams summoned police and complained Brown's bodyguard punched him in the face. However, the singer's lawyer Mark Geragos stated Adams changed his story to state millionaire Brown punched him in the face, breaking his nose. This laid the groundwork for a $3,000,000 lawsuit Brown is also fighting. Geragos maintains Adams stated to his office that Brown did not hit him. However, the prosecution in Washington is not taking it into consideration.

Chris Brown Appears In Court Looking Depressed As Judge Sentences Him To More Jail Time

Chris Brown

R&B singer Chris Brown arrived in Los Angeles yesterday after spending days shackled on Con Air, the justice system's airline service for inmates who are extradited to other jurisdictions in America. He has been jailed for the past six weeks due to a probation violation. The singer has gained a little weight, giving him a healthier look. However, Brown looked troubled and depressed during his court hearing, as Judge James Brandlin order the singer to spend another week in jail, while his lawyer negotiates a plea deal over his probation violation.

This means Brown will spend his upcoming birthday in jail. Brown turns 25 on May 5th, 2014, also known as Cinco De Mayo. The star also spent Easter in jail, regarding a Washington assault case involving local, Parker Adams. Brown's trial has been delayed while the singer's bodyguard, who was also charged in the incident, appeals his conviction in the aforementioned matter. The circumstances surrounding the case are not working in Brown's favor.

CNN is reporting, "The prosecutor said last week that she would "strenuously object" to Brown being released because it appears likely Brown will be found guilty of the assault charge in Washington. Assistant District Attorney Mary Murray argued the only change since Brown was jailed in March is that his case has "gotten worse." The Washington judge who found his bodyguard guilty in the assault case also concluded that Brown was "the initial aggressor" in the incident, Murray said."

KTLA also reported, "The prosecutors cited Hollosy’s refusal to talk to them about his testimony as a major reason for the decision not to grant immunity. Their motion also said they suspected he might lie in his testimony to help Brown."

Chris Brown Could Be Locked Up In Jail For A Year Pending Trial In Washington Assault Case

Chris Brown

R&B singer Chris Brown was handed a legal blow this week. Due to his bodyguard, Chris Hollosy, being found guilty of assault in an incident where he punched a man, Parker Adams, to prevent him from boarding his tour bus and was found guilty, the star's trial is being delayed. The delay is due Hollosy appealing his conviction (both men are being tried separately for the same incident).

The case would proceed at a faster pace if Hollosy would testify in Brown's case, but as prosecutors refuse to grant him immunity, the bodyguard has declined. The prosecutors are making their point clear, they want Brown locked up as long as possible between before, between and after trial.

Chris Brown's girlfriend Karrueche Tran

One of Brown's lawyers stated the trial process could end up taking 6-months, while prosecutors are estimating 1-year. In short, they want Brown locked up for a while. The Huffington Post stated, "A lawyer for Brown said in court Wednesday that could take at least six months. Prosecutors have said it could take a year. No new trial date for Brown was set."

Brown is due back in Los Angeles for a probation violation hearing in the Rihanna domestic violence case, via a long 4-5 day plane ride on Con Air, the airplane service operated by the government, used to transport inmates to various courts around the country to stand trial. Brown will once again be shackled/chained for the duration of the trip.

Brown's family and girlfriend Karrueche Tran have been supporting him during the trial, walking into the courthouse looking very somber, realizing he could be locked away for 1-4 years. Brown is also not doing well in jail. A settlement would have been the better outcome, but Adams and his lawyer want millions of dollars.
