NBA Commissioner Adam Silver Bans Los Angeles Clippers Owner Donald Sterling From The NBA For Life Over Racist Discriminatory Remarks (Video)

Newly appointed NBA commissioner Adam Silver has thrown the book at Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling, over racist remarks he made during a telephone call to his girlfriend Vanessa Stiviano. Sterling engaged in discrimination by demanding that Stiviano not bring black people to his Los Angeles Clippers games. TMZ aired the tape on its website and show. Sterling‘s comments left many appalled.

As the NBA is a group of teams that comprise a franchise, the regulatory commission is able to assess penalties and fines for inappropriate behavior that brings disrepute on any or all of its teams by default. Team owners sign binding contracts pledging to abide by league rules.

Sterling has been banned for life from the NBA and slapped with a $2,500,000 fine. Silver also stated he will do his best to impress upon other team owners in the league the necessity to compel Sterling to sell the Los Angeles Clippers. This is the correct course of action. It is in the best interest of the NBA.

Sterling’s comments have upset millions of people, who don’t want a side order of racism with their basketball. The NBA has treated black people very well, which is why Sterling’s comments floored so many members of the public. However, his comments are his own and the league should work to move on and rebound from his scandal (and it can).

Rihanna Sued By Bodyguard For Defamation

Rihanna

Rihanna has been sued in Ireland by her former bodyguard, Geoffrey Keating, who was head of security for the drug addled, alcoholic star between 2012-2013. He filed suit against Rihanna for defamation of character, in defaming him to his family, friends and business associates via, email and via telephone. He contends it has damaged his reputation.

Rihanna was recently slammed in court documents for defaming accounting firm Berdon LLP, falsely accusing them of giving her bad advice in stating buy a home, as she contends she couldn’t afford it. However, the bank is the entity that makes that determination and clearly they deemed her financially fit enough to purchase the home, based on her income and debt ratio.

Rihanna damaged the firm’s name with her highly publicized claims, much like she is being accused in legal documents of ruining the name of her former bodyguard, who is seeking legal redress. Rihanna, the self-professed “bad gal” is going to be the “broke gal” if she keeps it up.

The Obama Administration's Hand In The Arab World Uprisings

Barack Obama

U.S. President Barack Obama is still stumbling in his reaction to the widespread violence that has erupted in the Middle East. Ironically, word in the international community from a very credible source, indicates President Obama placed some incendiary, instigative phone calls to the region, prior to the uprising in Egypt, which has spread to other nations in the Arab World, such as Bahrain, Yemen and Libya.

While the Middle East riots, Obama pushes his technology agenda

In doing so, the Obama Administration stirred up a hornet's nest, it has not been able to control, which has resulted in hundreds of civilian casualties. The Middle East is now destabilized, Libya has become volatile and violent, oil prices are rising to record levels and the door is open for all sorts of militants to set up shop in the stead of falling regimes.

Video: How Libya unrest impacts the global economy

This is a troubling time in world history, where drudges are being formed and who knows what they will turn into later. The President is messing with regimes comprised of men, who have very long memories and very short tempers. As history has shown, it will come back to bite America in the butt.

Video: Libya teeters on the brink

It would be wonderful if the aforementioned nations would embrace democracy, but in trying to bring this about, what seeds are being sown, who will reap the end result and will it be good or bad.

AT&T Voted The Worst Carrier In America

This is a follow up to the article November 26, 2010 "AT&T's U-Verse Hacked" where the Judiciary Report complained of issues with AT&T. Well, wouldn't you know it, one week later, Consumer Reports, ranked AT&T the worst carrier in America. No argument from this corner.

I have been hacked (internet and cable) and illegally wiretapped, like the victims in the Anthony Pellicano case, in conduct that is ongoing, due to the perpetrators having switched to a new crooked private investigator to do their dirty work, with full knowledge of the crimes being committed.

I.G. Confirms FBI Broke The Law

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

The U.S. Inspector General confirmed today in his 306 page report, the FBI has broken the law in illegally collecting telephone records in a manner not allowed via existing tools, such as "exigent letters" by inventing fake emergencies that did not exist.

The FBI lied today stating they violated the privacy of many innocent Americans to prevent acts of terrorism, but as the world knows, Fort Hood happened, as did the attempted bombing of a Christmas Day NWA flight in Detroit, which left a few passengers with second and third degree burns. The only thing the FBI has prevented is people from having privacy.

FBI Invoked ‘Emergencies’ To Gather U.S. Phone Records

According to the Post, among those who raised concerns internally was FBI Special Agent Bassem Youssef, supervisor of the communications analysis unit that dealt with the records. Youssef brought the matter to the attention of his superiors in 2005, after he received complaints from phone companies about the FBI’s failure to provide documentation showing the searches were legal, the newspaper said.

Youssef earlier had “fallen out of favor with FBI management” because he filed a whistleblower claim alleging he had been denied promotion and retaliated against because of his ethnicity, the Post reported.

FBI Collected Thousands Of Phone Records Illegally

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

Never let it be said the FBI let a little thing like the law get in their way of violating scores of people's rights. Based on reports today, the FBI collected thousands of people's phone records by flat out lying about exigent circumstances that never existed, to use the dubious national security letters to spy on Americans. FBI Director Robert S. Mueller claims he knew nothing of what many FBI agents did in this regard. However, Mueller knew. He orchestrated it. He is a disgraceful liar.

When I broke the story in December 2006, which was confirmed by the Inspector General's report in March 2007, based on what was relayed to me by a very credible source in 2006, I was informed FBI Director Robert S. Mueller was illegally spying on select people and passing the contents around among his cronies and other officials in government.

Targets selected for surveillance, such as specific scientists, political scientists, inventors, journalists, political bloggers, activists and politicians to name a few, had their privacy thoroughly violated by Mueller and FBI HQ, via the FBI employees he instructed to do so.

Granted, some FBI agents of their own accord, abused this privilege to pry into the lives of wives and girlfriends, even women they wanted to pursue sexually. However, the illegal activity was largely directed by Mueller and HQ and consigned to select surveillance targets, who hadn't done anything wrong. It has been a vile invasion of privacy, which is something sacred.

Said surveillance included wiretap transcripts (phone and cell phone), emails, text messages, internet searches, computer documents (FBI's CIPAV trojan), GPS, roving bugs, credit card purchases (itemized), travel records, library records, credit reports, banking activity and medical records, illegally accessed and copied, then all bundled up and sent to Mueller and others at FBI hq upon request.

Mueller is also a nasty old pervert, who is power mad. When he was not misusing this vital congressional tool in spying on the aforementioned, who did nothing wrong, he was prying into the lives of younger women.

When the agency gets into trouble for certain misdeeds, Mueller tries to dupe the FBI agents into destroying incriminating files, which is very illegal, by telling them they are "doing it for your country" under the guise of "American Pride." It's the same reason the FBI keeps hiding the real Martin Luther King Jr. files - they don't want the public to know the terrible things the FBI has done.

Mueller is a criminal. Full stop. He deserves to be called out for what he truly is and what he is doing to this nation and other people in the world he has spied on as well, in egregious acts, with no mandate under federal law to do so. Someone should violate you and your family like that and see how you like it, you dirty old man.

Report: FBI Illegally Collected Phone Records

Published: January 19, 2010 - WASHINGTON (AP) -- The FBI violated the law in collecting thousands of U.S. telephone records during the Bush administration, The Washington Post reported Monday.

Citing internal memos and interviews, the Post said the FBI invoked nonexistent terrorism emergencies or persuaded phone companies to provide information as it illegally gathered more than 2,000 records between 2002 and 2006.

The bureau said in 2007 that it had improperly obtained some phone records, and the Justice Department inspector general is expected to release a report this month detailing the extent of the problem...

Documents obtained by the Post show that FBI managers as high as the assistant director level approved the emergency requests. Caproni said FBI Director Robert Mueller did not know about the requests until late 2006 or early 2007, after the inspector general's investigation had begun...
