Hope Solo Receives 6-Month Ban From National Squad After Calling The Swedish Team Cowards At The Olympics

Hope Solo

Female soccer player, Hope Solo, has been given a 6-month ban from the U.S. national soccer team, after branding the Swedish side "cowards." The U.S. team lost to Sweden at the 2016 Olympics, leading Solo to publicly remark during an interview, "I think we played a bunch of cowards" and "the best team didn’t win" which was universally branded poor sportsmanship.

The interview caught the attention of the press and U.S. Soccer president, Sunil Gulati, who stated of Solo's comments during the 2016 Rio Olympics, "The comments by Hope Solo after the match against Sweden during the 2016 Olympics were unacceptable and do not meet the standard of conduct we require from our National Team players."

This is not the firs time Solo has gotten herself into trouble. Solo was arrested for domestic violence because she...wait for it...beat her boyfriend turned husband (LOL, but seriously, you shouldn't do that to him and vice versa).

Neymar And Brazil Win Historic Olympic Gold Medal In Football

Neymar

FC Barcelona footballer, Neymar, played a pivotal role in landing Brasil its first gold medal in football, in a decisive win over Germany. Neymar, in his role as captain of the squad, scored a goal during the match and another in the penalty shoot out. Neymar's goal was the deciding factor in Brazil's historic 5-4 win. The striker immediately began crying tears of joy at the amazing feat.

The football win capped off what was a very successful Olympics for Brasil in host city Rio. It was an achievement for Brasil as a nation and one they should be proud of in many ways. The sporting events were wonderful and people had a great time. It was definitely a memorable Olympics.

Ciara's 2-Year-Old Son Calls Stepdad Russell Wilson 'Papa' Instead Of Reserving That Title For His Biological Father Rapper Future (Video)

This month singer Ciara married NFL football player Russell Wilson. Ciara has a 2-year-old son Future, named after his rapper father, who has treated the singer disgracefully. The rapper has publicly insulted Ciara and Wilson in cruel ways, even threatening the football player online by using a gun emoji. Today, a video surfaced showing Ciara, baby Future and her husband, Wilson, getting ready for an event.

Ciara, her son Future and Russell Wilson

Russell Wilson and baby Future

In the video, Ciara saw her toddler and stated to him "kiss mama" and he did so. Then, her son said "papa kiss" to Wilson, who gave him a kiss on the cheek. It was very sweet, but sad at the same time. The rapper is going to be enraged when he sees the video, which is what makes it sad. However, if he spent more time with his son, rather than music industry groupies, the little boy would have a relationship with him.

Future

I feel sorry for the little boy. His biological father is not treating his mother well, neglecting his paternal duties and another man had to step in to become a father to him. Baby Future has seen Wilson more than his biological father. While it is great he has someone around for support, the rapper is really letting his child down.

Footballer Lionel Messi And His Dad Sentenced To 21-Months In Jail On Tax Fraud Conviction

Lionel Messi and dad Jorge Messi in court

The Guardian newspaper is reporting that Barcelona football superstar, Lionel Messi and his dad, Jorge Messi, have been sentenced to 21-months in jail on tax fraud charges in Catalonia, Spain. They were given a suspended sentence, which means it is highly unlikely they will have to do actual jail time. Messi has also been assessed a $2,500,000 fine and ordered to pay $6,000,000 in back taxes. Messi's dad has been issued a $2,000,000 fine. Messi pled ignorance stating he did not read what he was signing, regarding the shell companies housing money from his image rights, in offshore locations such as Belize and Uruguay.

In February, Messi's fellow Barcelona teammate, Neymar, was also prosecuted for tax fraud in his native Brazil (Brazilian Judge Orders Neymar's Private Jet, Yacht And Sports Cars Seized In Tax Evasion Case). It appears select members of the Barcelona squad were given bad tax advice from the same source.

Lionel Messi Sentenced To 21-Months In Prison

Barcelona's Argentinian soccer star Lionel Messi has been sentenced to 21 months in prison and fined 2 million euros ($2.2 million) after being found guilty of three counts of tax fraud, a court in the Spanish city said on Wednesday. The court handed the same jail sentence to the Argentine soccer player's father, Jorge, and fined him 1.5 million euros. However, in Spain it is customary that those sentenced to under two years for non-violent crimes do not serve time in jail.

Messi, 29, and his father were accused by the Spanish tax office of defrauding the government of 4.2 million euros ($4.7 million) in tax between 2007 and 2009. The court found that they had used a web of shell companies to evade taxes on income from the player's image rights. Messi, five-times World Player of the Year, said during the trial that he had no knowledge of the dealings and that his father had control over his financial affairs...

Johnny Manziel Could Learn From Jamie Vardy's Success As Family And Friends Fear For Former NFL Star

Johnny Manziel

The Judiciary Report first did a story on then NFL quarterback, Johnny Manziel, sounding the alarm on his partying (Partying Your Career Away). In the two years since the Judiciary Report article, Manziel has hit rock bottom this year. He has been dropped by the Cleveland Browns, his girlfriend dumped him after a domestic violence incident that left her deaf and he is currently under criminal indictment in connection with the aforementioned fight. Today, TMZ is reporting Manziel's family and friends are afraid he is going to die from his wild partying.

Manziel could learn from British Leicester City football player, Jamie Vardy. A couple years ago, Vardy began showing up to training drunk. The Leicester City staff decided to take a proactive approach with Vardy, who was receptive to their suggestions that he control his alcohol intake for the sake of his health and career. Leicester City was fighting off relegation last season. This month, Leicester City hit the news worldwide, as Vardy, its leading scorer and the squad made history in winning the Premier League. Vardy and the team are the success story of the season, as what they accomplished is unprecedented in football.

You have to make disciplined sacrifices in life to truly get the things you want. Some things money can buy. Others things it can't. You have to develop and protect your talents and gifts in life. Do not squander what God has given you. Make something of your life. Invest in yourself in getting clean and sober. Make an effort to get your life and career back on track.

Johnny Manziel Friends Concerned ... 'He's Gonna Die'

5/24/2016 1:00 AM PDT BY - Johnny Manziel's drinking and drug use is worse than ever -- but the QB refuses to seek help ... and now people close to him are convinced he's going to die unless something changes soon. Here's what we know ... Manziel has become even more reckless with his drug problem recently -- even blowing lines in front of people he barely knows. "He's in a horrible downward spiral," one source very close to the QB tells TMZ Sports.

There have been multiple serious attempts to help Johnny -- with one group of close friends recently sitting him down and "confronting" him about his situation. But, as one source put it, "He flipped out and would not hear it." "He's too much of a risk," one high-powered nightclub source tells us ... "He's a good guy, but he's a f***ing mess."...

Instead, he continues to party like a maniac -- L.A., Vegas, Miami, Coachella, Dallas -- and, as one source put it, "If he continues this way for much longer he will die.” His own father expressed grave concern about Johnny back in February -- saying if he doesn't get help, "he won't live to see his 24th birthday."

Johnny Manziel Turns Himself In On Arrest Warrant For Domestic Violence Against Ex-Girlfriend

Johnny Manziel

This is a follow up to the July 12. 2014 Judiciary Report article "Partying Your Career Away." Former star Cleveland Browns quarterback, Johnny Manziel, has fallen to another low, after being dropped from the team in March (Johnny Manziel Loses Contract With Cleveland Browns After Constant Drinking And Partying).

Johnny Manziel when he played for the Browns, refusing to discipline himself and getting cut from the team two years after his debut

Manziel turned himself in on assault charges, in relation to a January 2016 domestic violence incident. Party loving Manziel, is accused of striking his then girlfriend, Colleen Crowley, in a drunken rage. Crowley stated Manziel forced her into his car against her will, hit her in the head and slammed her head against the passenger side window in trying to stop her from leaving. Crowley is now deaf in one ear. Manziel posted bail regarding the misdemeanor assault charges and is free pending trial.

Manziel is also in other legal trouble. Manziel and members of his entourage trashed a rented California mansion while partying. They are now facing a significant bill and legal action. Manziel’s father is a millionaire and it has partially absolved the former football player of many responsibilities in life. This lack of responsibility has led to indiscipline conduct, costing Manziel his football career. Manziel is going to regret these days, due to the poor choices he keeps making in his personal and professional life. He is losing prime opportunities many athletes would love.

Jamie Vardy Family Not Coming To His Wedding Because Of His Fiancée

Jamie Vardy

The breakout star of this season’s Premier League in Britain, 29-year-old Leicester City footballer, Jamie Vardy. He is set to wed, 34-year-old Becky Nicholson, who is the mother of his toddler Sofia. Nicholson has two children from previous relationships. Not everyone is happy about engagement nor will all of Vardy's family be attending the wedding. Vardy’s father, Philip, blames Nicholson for coming between the footballer and his family. Vardy's father states Nicholson has caused a massive rift in the footballer's relationship with his mother Lisa.

Becky Nicholson and Sofia Vardy

Philip Vardy stated in an interview this week, "It's a real shame and very sad. I have given him 22 years of life to get him to the pinnacle of his career, and I can't enjoy it...it really upsets me." Vardy's grandfather Gerald Clewes referred to Nicholson as, "that woman" blaming her for coming between Jamie and his mother. The issue likely stems from the fact Nicholson already has two children and no prenuptial agreement appears to be in place. Some parents do not want that for their children who seek to get married, especially when their offspring is rich and famous with a lot to lose. However, it is their son's decision whom hew chooses to marry.

Jamie Vardy and Becky Nicholson

A girlfriend, fiancée or wife should not come between a man and his family. It is not a good idea. It is best to aim for a reconciliation between the family. They all need to work this out, especially for the sake of their child, who deserves to have her full family in her life. The little girl has grandparents and she should have them around.

Appeals Court Overturns Tom Brady's NFL Football Suspension Being Lifted By Fawning Judge

Tom Brady

The NFL scored a victory against one of its top football players, New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady, who has been convincingly accused of engaging inappropriate behavior that is tantamount to cheating on the grid iron. Brady was accused of having teammates and Patriots' staff deflate footballs, making them easier for him to handle, which gave him an undue advantage in play.

Tom Brady in court last year smiling after questionable judicial ruling

Brady was handed a four game suspension for this misconduct. Brady filed a lawsuit and a biased judge, Richard M. Berman ,questionably and mysteriously tossed the suspension. The NFL filed a case with the appeals court to have the improper judicial ruling overturned. Yesterday the appeals court sided with the NFL and reinstated Brady's suspension.

Tom Brady

This reallly was not a matter that should have been brought before the courts. Sports leagues around the world have internal systems athletes agree to abide by and process decisions through. For Brady to have taken it to a partial judge, who is a fan of the sports star was inappropriate and brought the judiciary into disrepute due to the corrupt, fawning decision that was issued.

Federal court has reinstated the NFL's four-game suspension of Tom Brady

11:54 a.m. EDT April 25, 2016 -Round 2 – unlike the first – goes to the NFL – and Tom Brady’s four-game suspension has been reinstated. A panel of three judges in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit has ruled in favor of the league in the ongoing Deflategate case against the Patriots quarterback and the NFL Players Association.

The court announced the decision on its website Monday to reverse the decision by a U.S. District Judge, and reinstate Brady’s four-game suspension. This comes as a drastic momentum swing in the case, after the players union secured a significant victory last September, when District Judge Richard M. Berman vacated Brady’s four-game suspension for his alleged role in intentionally deflating footballs prior to the 2015 AFC Championship Game against the Indianapolis Colts...

Married Basketball Player Lebron James In Trouble For Sending DM To Fellow Athlete's Girlfriend

Lebron James, Savannah James and their children

Cleveland Cavilers basketball star, Lebron James, is in trouble. James, who got married to Savannah James (nee Brinson) in 2014, logged into his official Instagram social networking account and sent a DM (direct message) to Rachel Bush, the girlfriend of Cleveland Brown's football player Jordan Poyer. James formerly played for the Miami Heat. Bush is a music and sports groupie from Miami, who posts revealing photos on Instagram. Poyer and Bush attended a Cavaliers game.

Rachel Bush

What James wasn't planning on is Bush making a screencap of his message to her and posting it to the internet, leading to speculation he was trying to cheat on his wife again, as he did with music industry mattress, Rihanna (Rumors Swirl That Lebron James Is Having An Extramarital Affair With Rihanna Due To Her Brazen Behavior Courtside And Outside The Cavaliers Locker Room Before And After Boarding His Private Jet).

Jordan Poyer

Rachel Bush's post on Instagram about watching the Cavaliers game with boyfriend Jordan Poyer courtside. James is featured in her photo.

Lebron James sent this private message to Rachel Bush

James should not have been sending Bush private messages. It doesn't look right. It's one thing if the direct message was regarding business. However, it was not so. James was trying to have sex with Bush. James is married and it dishonors his wife and children (their classmates are going to tease them about it). I feel bad for his family, as people in the industry keep talking about James cheating and I know it has to be getting back to his wife. James needs to appreciate what he has, lest he loses it.

Gary Neville Let Go As Coach Of Valencia FC Proving Being A Football Manager Is Not As Easy As It Looks

Gary Neville

Former Manchester United FC star, Gary Neville, has been let go as manager (coach) of La Liga side Valencia, after 4-months on the job. Neville, a former television football pundit, a career he embraced after his successful spell at Manchester United, realized firsthand it is not easy being a manager, after spending years criticizing coaches on TV. Neville is very passionate about football and this is where his criticism of managers emanated from in his scathing critiques.

Twitter teasing Neville about being let go from Valencia

Under Neville, Valencia lost several games at slipped to number 14 on the La Liga table. This recent development regarding Neville supports the March 3, 2016 Judiciary Report article "Football Great Zinedine Zidane Going Through Rough Patch As Manager Of Real Madrid (Do Legends Make The Best Coaches)." Top footballers often have a difficult time becoming successful managers.

Another of many posts on Twitter regarding people teasing Neville about his departure from Valencia

You have to have a coaching mind, not just a football one. It's part disciplinarian, captain and motivational speaker. It is a mentally and emotionally taxing job, but quite rewarding when you make a difference in a squad. You almost have to figuratively go into matches like you're waging war, planning football attacks with military precision.

Pele Sues Samsung For $30,000,000 Over Using His Image And Likeness Without Permission In Football Ad

Pele

Legendary Brazilian footballer, Pele, has filed a $30,000,000 lawsuit against tech giant Samsung for illegally using his image and likeness in a newspaper ad, by employing a look alike. Upon looking at the photo in the ad that ran in the New York Times, you immediately think it is Pele. This is made more apparent by the fact it is a football ad.

Samsung football ad deceives people into thinking that's football legend Pele and he has endorsed their product

Samsung was in negotiations with Pele to use his image in 2013, but the deal broke down. Pele's lawsuit reveals Samsung, "never obtained the right to use Pele's identity in any manner or format." It is unlawful to use someone's image as a means of misleading the public into thinking they have endorsed your product or event.

Pele: Soccer legend files $30m lawsuit against Samsung for 'improperly using his image'

The advertisment appeared in the 'New York Times' last year

Tuesday 29 March 2016 - He was the man who made the beautiful game even more beautiful. Now, the Brazilian soccer legend Pele is suing Samsung, claiming that the electronics firm improperly used his identity. The lawsuit has been filed by the former soccer star’s lawyer, Fred Sperling, and alleges that the firm used a Pele look-alike in an October advertisement for televisions in the New York Times newspaper.

While the advertisement did not name the 75-year-old, the elderly black man featured in “very closely resembles” Pele, the lawsuit says. The lawsuit says the ad will confuse consumers and hurt the value of his endorsement rights. It seeks $30m in damages, the Associated Press added. Pele has endorsement deals with other companies, including Volkswagen, Subway, Emirates and Procter and Gamble.

The lawsuit says the ad appeared after Samsung broke off negotiations to use Pele’s image in 2013. Specifically, the lawsuit said the South Korean firm pulled out of negotiations at the last minute “and never obtained the right to use Pele's identity in any manner or in any format”...

Johnny Manziel Loses Contract With Cleveland Browns After Constant Drinking And Partying Confirming Previous Site Claims (Video)

Johnny Manziel

This week, the Cleveland Browns have released 23-year-old quarterback, Johnny Manziel, after a string of self-induced troubles beset the talented U.S. football player. In the July 12, 2014 article "Partying Your Career Away" the Judiciary Report warned that Manziel was headed for disaster in what would damage his career. Now it has happened in Manziel being cut by the Browns.

TMZ captured photos of Manziel drinking in Miami

Manziel constantly partied and drank excessively to the point he began playing well below his potential in the professional league (NFL), then ended up in a domestic violence incident in October 2015 with girlfriend, Colleen Crowley. The couple were out partying and drinking. Manziel is accused of dragging Crowley out of his hotel room and into her car. She stated to police that she jumped out of the car in the parking lot, but Manziel stopped the vehicle, dragged her back into the car, then struck her on her head by her ear. Crowley is now deaf in one ear. The blow to the head made Crowley understandably angry. She began hitting Manziel, who threw her off him in the car, causing her to hit her head against the window.

An argument erupted as Manziel drove with Crowley in the car against her will. Manziel threatened to kill Crowley and himself during the violent argument. Sports Illustrated quoted an excerpt from the police report on the incident revealing, "During the drive to Fort Worth, I was crying and telling him ‘I hate you! Just leave me alone! I hate you!’ Respondent then told me he was going to drop me off, take my car and go kill himself. I thought maybe he was on drugs or having a psychotic break so to keep him calm I began telling him, ‘I love you. We can figure this out, we can talk.’ Respondent started laughing at this and I became really scared. I started crying even more and he told me "Shut up or I'll kill us both!" Then I started begging him not to kill me and he immediately responded, ‘I would never kill you. You don't deserve that. I would only kill myself!’ He was not making sense."

TMZ captures Manziel drinking at another event

Pedestrians witnessed Manziel driving erratically as the two fought in the car. As a result, the pedestrians called police. Though, Crowley declined to press charges and the incident was closed, public outcry over domestic violence later caused authorities to reopen the matter. In February 2016, police announced Manziel is under investigation over the incident.

Manziel drinking again

The couple were constantly partying, drinking and on vacation. This was not great for their health or his career. Manziel is responsible for the choices he made. Nonetheless, I have to question the conduct of some of the people in Manziel's life. Manziel's friends and love interests know he has a drinking issue. Yet, they continued to drink and party with him on a regular basis. The question is why. If you have a friend or love with an alcohol problem, in good conscience you should keep them away from it when you are around them.

Manziel drinking sizzurp (codeine and soda) while out with girlfriend Colleen Crowley

Manziel was also putting much of his partying and promiscuity on social networking, damaging his image and earning potential with sponsors/endorsers. The Judiciary Report has warned against this behavior online in past articles [Producer Teddy Riley Lays Down The Law On Soulja Boy Regarding His Daughter (The Dangers Of Putting Too Much Private Info On Social Networking) and Stars With Image Problems That Cost Them Millions Of Dollars and Partying Your Career Away]. Nearly two-years after the Judiciary Report's articles, Manziel's marketing agency LRMR dropped him as a client (January 2016). Manziel's agent also dropped him as a client (January 2016). Both companies' conduct confirms what the Judiciary Report wrote years prior in that coaches/managers/team, as well as endorsers, do not favor trouble prone athletes. It makes them nervous, as they have to protect their brand.

With Manziel, the potential is there, but the dedication is not. Manziel made the choice that partying was just as important as training and it is not. You have to sacrifice if you want to make it in sports. Sacrifice is a word commonly used by champions. One of the first things my dad, a former football (soccer) player then coach (cricket as well) of many years taught me is that athletes cannot constantly party and drink and reach the top of the sports field. Having fun in the off season to a minimal degree is one thing, but partying and with alcohol week in and week out will damage one's sports career. The body simply cannot handle it. When there's more alcohol in you than a good protein drink, you're gonna have problems.

Football Great Zinedine Zidane Going Through Rough Patch As Manager Of Real Madrid (Do Legends Make The Best Coaches)

Zinedine Zidane

Legendary French football player, Zinedine Zidane, is having a rough time as manager (coach) of the accomplished Real Madrid F.C. squad in Spain. The team’s top footballer is Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the world‘s leading goal scorers. Real Madrid has won La Liga in the past, but they are struggling this season. Real Madrid recently lost to rival Atletico Madrid. FC Barcelona have been dominating with the attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis “The Teeth” Suarez (Ok, his nickname is not the teeth, but Suarez is famous for using his LOL).

I would sometimes wonder why legendary football players have difficulty coaching teams. Then, there's the theory in reference to the topic that a footballer who is a legend due to his exemplary skill, becomes frustrated when athletes don't grasp the game and what is being taught, on the same level and manner as the top footballer turned manager.

By right, men like Pele and Bobby Charlton, should be among the best managers in the world. However, it has not happened. No one questions their skill, as they are the best, but truthfully, who has replicated the aforementioned athletes' abilities in younger players. That's because other factors come into play. Some athletes have better physical coordination (eye/foot as opposed to hand/eye in other sports) and control than others. Some athletes are naturally faster with better aim than others. This is why practice is essential in a bid to correct any deficiencies, in a bid to make your athletes the best they can be.

Pele, who is often hailed as the best ever, humorously stated in the Mirror newspaper of Manchester United and current coach Louis Van Gaal, "I told him, you know he is a very strong guy and they (Manchester United) should have courage because I am never going to be coach. I don't want to suffer." It's difficult being a manager, because when the team does not win, you will be blamed.

It's easy to take negative newspaper articles and chants at matches personally, when football fans yell for the firing of their favorite team's manager. However, that's when you have to redouble your efforts to bring out the best in the squad and make any necessary changes. Do not become overwhelmed, discouraged or dispirited. Look at it this way, erase the points deficit by digging your way out of that hole, one match at a time. Take it one match at a time.

Boxers And Brain Injuries

Boxer Muhammad Ali and his equally handsome grandson in a Louis Vuitton ad

The very nature of boxing often entails fighters trading punches and usually to the head. However, as with other contact sports such as American football, athletes have learned head injuries can have a long lasting impact on their health and life. The medical term Encephalopathy was coined to cover a spectrum of conditions that can be classified as brain disease.

A wave of American football players began suffering brain disorders that resembled Alzheimer's and Parkinsons due to constant blows to the head resulting in concussions. The symptoms include memory loss, tremors, diminished cognitive ability, confusion, difficulty concentration, seizures, mood swings, depression, dementia and suicidality.

Muhamad Ali and another beloved star, actor Michael J. Fox, both have Parkinsons. My theory is the constant blows to the head Ali sustained in his storied boxing career and an injury Fox sustained on the set of the "Back To The Future" film, where his head was caught in a prop, initiated Parkinsons in them (head injuries/brain injuries).

While the focus of the mental condition has largely been on American football players, boxers are also in danger of developing encephalopathy and need to be monitored and if necessary treated for the medical condition. A number of boxers have reported symptoms that carry some of the traits of encephalopathy.

While some boxers pride themselves on being able to take punishment in the ring, the style of hit and don't get hit is the better, healthier option. A shorter number of rounds, as opposed to 12, is also better (in the United Kingdom the standard fight has 8 rounds). On the whole, modern referees have become far more cautious and willing to stop fights when they are of the belief a fighter is in mortal danger or a serious health problem is about to occur. Some boxers do not like their fights being stopped over injuries they personally do not deem significant, but referees are erring on the side of caution.

For years boxer Frank Bruno had struggled with depression and related issues, after sustaining blows to the head during the course of his career. He became suicidal 13-years ago and was admitted to a hospital for mental health treatment. He retired from boxing at age 34. Bruno is now 54 and seeks to make a boxing comeback, which is inadvisable, as it could exacerbate his depression and any underlying medical conditions related to the brain. I have wondered if Bruno is struggling with the beginning stages of brain disease due to some of his symptoms. However, I hope not. Nonetheless, he must continue to stick to an appropriate and effective treatment plan for his depression.

As stated in the January 22, 2014 article How To Reap The Benefits Of Boxing While Avoiding The Pitfalls: "The brain is delicate. It is a part of the human body that does not easily withstand injury. I am of the belief head injuries sustained in combat, accidents and sports, as well as brain hemorrhages (aneurysm or stroke) greatly increases the risk of developing Parkinsons or Alzheimer’s. People with the aforementioned injuries are more prone to depression and regrettably suicide. It’s crucial that one recognizes the signs of depression early and seek medical treatment and therapy to ward off its effects.

Brain injury leads the body to release distress chemicals that triggers feelings of sadness, confusion, doubt and depression. Basically, it’s a distress signal. Your body telling you there’s a problem. Athletes in contact sports are more prone to depression. Head injuries some boxers sustain contribute to depression. This sometimes leads to drug use, such as cocaine, in failed attempts at feeling better. So, protect your head as best you can."

Luis Suarez Nearly Misses Airplane After Leaving Passport At Home En Route To London For Arsenal v Barcelona Champions League Match

Luis Suarez

Arsenal F.C. squares off today against Barcelona F.C. in London, England. Reports indicate Barcelona footballer Luis Suarez, forgot his passport at home and nearly missed his flight to London today. However, an overly efficient Barcelona staffer rushed to Suarez's house and quickly brought the passport to the airport, getting him on the plane on time, in defiance of my malevolent benevolent prayer days prior on Twitter that they be banned from Britain (you know God was in heaven like "No she didn't just ask Me to do that" LOL).

Alexis Sanchez is a former Barcelona player, who now plays for Arsenal. He could give Arsenal insight to Barcelona's methods and things of that nature.

You have to admit it though, Suarez leaving his passport at home is ironic and humorous, in light of what I have jokingly been tweeting on Twitter, asking God to ban him from Britain (where London is located) and his fellow top scorers Neymar and Lionel Messi. I've also jokingly been communicating my willingness to bribe someone in British immigration with a meal at Nandos in exchange for banning them (yet British immigration amazingly managed to let the entire Barcelona squad through the airport and probably wished them a great trip too LOL).

My tweets on my Twitter page on the match

Seriously, this has the potential to be one of the biggest matches of the year. These types of matches are good for football. It draws considerable public interest to the top sport in the world. Arsenal are considered the underdogs, as Messi. Neymar and Suarez are widely considered the top attacking trio in the world. However, Arsenal, who also has quality talent, is presented with the opportunity to rise to the challenge and give Barcelona a tough match (don't be intimidated by their stature, as they are mortals too). Hope it all goes well and everyone has a great time on both sides playing, "The Beautiful Game."

Suarez forgets his passport ahead of Barcelona's Champions League clash with Arsenal

22 Feb 2016 20:09:00 - A club official from Barca was forced to race back to the Uruguayan's home but the striker was able to make Monday's flight without delay. It’s the nightmare everyone potentially faces at an airport but for Luis Suarez, forgetting your passport is not the end of the world. The Spanish champions made their way to Barcelona airport on Monday morning ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League clash with Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday evening.

But instead of leaving Suarez to browse the duty-free bargains, Barcelona sent a club official racing back to the Uruguayan’s home to fetch his passport. Unfortunately for Arsenal, Suarez, who has already scored 41 goals in 37 games this season, was able to make the flight with his team-mates and took part in training on Monday night.

Former Chelsea Coach Jose Mourinho Hauled Into Court For Firing Doctor Eva Carneiro In A Case That Highlights How A Manager Can Lose The Confidence Of His Team

Eva Carneiro being yelled at by Jose Mourinho

This week in London, England, an employment tribunal case and separate legal proceedings commenced against Chelsea F.C. and its former manager (coach) Jose Mourinho, for dismissing the team’s lead doctor, Eva Carneiro. She has brought a “constructive dismissal” claim, meaning she was dismissed (see: fired, terminated) from her post, then demoted to a secondary medical team that do not occupy the bench on match day.

Carneiro’s removal from her position occurred after she and physio Jon Fearn rushed onto the pitch to treat injured footballer, Eden Hazard, during this season’s opening day match. After treating Hazard, they escorted him off the pitch. Mourinho became enraged that one of his main footballers was no longer in the match and the team was temporarily left with nine men on the pitch.

Mourinho was accused of yelling sexist slurs at Carneiro in front of rolling cameras covering the match. He later branded her “impulsive and naïve.” Carneiro’s dismissal from her position as lead doctor due to the demotion, meant she lost the coveted post on the first medical team, prompting her to leave Chelsea shortly after. In an ironic twist, Chelsea, who are the reigning champs of the Premier League, are having an awful season, prompting the club’s owner to fire Mourinho over the Christmas season. What goes around comes around. What Mourinho did to Carneiro has befallen him.

Jose Mourinho

ITV News is reporting, "Carneiro has also had backing from FIFA's medical chairman Michel D'Hooghe, who contacted the doctor to offer his support and that of the world governing body. He has backed Carneiro's insistence that she was simply doing her job." Social media comments by the public also reveal support for Carneiro.

In another ironic twist, after Mourinho’s sacking, the team began playing better. Some are accusing the Chelsea squad of being so unhappy working with Mourinho, that they deliberately played badly to get him fired. It is a difficult accusation to prove, as Mourinho has been very surly and verbally abusive with the squad, Careniro (and for all to see during his vitriolic outburst) and other Premier League managers, such as Arsenal’s Arsene Wenger. It can be argued the Chelsea squad became dispirited and played badly due to Mourinho’s conduct. Humility is important in life.

Mourinho is a very accomplished manager. However, he is having problems in his personal life and took it out on the squad and other Chelsea employees. As difficult as it may be, one must separate one’s personal problems from one’s business life. When the unprovoked insults are spiteful and cruel, they are deemed personal attacks. Football is fun and full of good-natured ribbing. Things should not reach the levels of animus Mourinho ventured into during his tenure at Chelsea.

On another note, Hazard was also billed as the next big footballer, but it has not materialized, indicating he needs more assistance in his development. This happens sometimes when great expectations are placed on athletes. Being a top athlete requires skill, mental grit and the ability to play under pressure. One must follow through on the initiative.

Being a football manager is not easy either. To be great at it you have to be a fair disciplinarian, planner, strategist, instructor and motivator in what will be a cycle of wins and losses. There’s nothing wrong with being a disciplinarian, regarding maintaining proper rules and codes of conduct for a team, but when it ventures into mean-spirited verbal abuse and venomous conduct, a manager will lose his audience that is the squad. When you break people's spirit, they are not going to give you their best. Correct them on what they did wrong, but compliment them on what they did right. There needs to be a balance. Be fair.

In closing, no manager is greater than the squad. No footballer is greater than the squad. To get the best results, the manager and squad must function as an equal whole.

Ex-Chelsea doctor Eva Carneiro set for constructive dismissal tribunal hearing

5 January 2016 at 4:19pm - Former Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro's constructive dismissal case against the club will have its first tribunal hearing on Wednesday. The preliminary hearing will take place at the London South Employment Tribunal in Croydon, and is expected to be in private before an employment judge.

The hearing will fix the timetable for the case, and deal with witness statements and disclosure of documents - including texts and emails - by each side, as well as any legal procedural disputes that current exist between the two parties...Chelsea filed their defence in the case last month. Carneiro also has a separate personal legal action against former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, who left the club in December, for alleged victimisation and discrimination.

The 42-year-old doctor was dropped from first-team duties after Mourinho criticised her and the first-team physio Jon Fearn for going onto the pitch to treat Eden Hazard on the opening day of the season. The action meant that Chelsea were temporarily down to nine men against Swansea, and afterwards Mourinho called Carneiro and Fearn ''impulsive and naive''. Carneiro did not appear on the bench again for first-team duties and later parted company with the club...

Rihanna's Sex Partner Footballer Karim Benzema Charged With Blackmail And Extortion, Implicated In Biggest Cocaine Trafficking Scandal In France's History And Dropped From French Team

Karim Benzema

As the phrase goes, "When it rains it pours." Real Madrid football player, Karim Benzema, has gotten himself into a world of trouble that is damaging his name, freedom and football career. Benzema was held in jail overnight until he made bail, but he was officially charged today with blackmailing and extorting French national football teammate, Mathieu Valbuena, over a secret sextape. This past July, Valbuena lodged a formal police complaint about Benzema and his cohorts' criminal conduct.

Reports indicate police began investigating Benzema and placed a lawful wiretap on his phone line. Mainstream European outlets are reporting in reference to Valbuena, police overheard Benzema state to a childhood friend, who is a criminal, "Do not worry. He has no choice. I'll make him understand. He'll pay." For his part, Benzema is denying the charges. However, the mere fact Valbuena went to police, it is being stated wiretap information incriminated Benzema and the fact he has indeed been charged with a crime, indicates there exists a reasonable suspicion of guilt.

To make matters worse, Benzema was today linked to a cocaine trafficking scandal in France. Le Point has stated Benzema is implicated in the biggest cocaine trafficking case in French history, known as "Air Cocaine." Benzema is listed as a reason two major drug traffickers were identified and arrested by police, as his ties to the drug dealers led authorities right to them. Benzema, like his sex partner in June of this year, Rihanna, has a penchant for cocaine. He stands accused of financially underwriting the drug operation.

La Liga's Real Madrid is a superb football club. It is one of the best in the world. Benzema was presented with the opportunity of a lifetime to play football for a team most people only dream of being apart of and has been well compensated. He should not have jeopardized it. Poor decision making is destroying the great opportunities in his life.

Mathieu Valbuena and Karim Benzema

Another lesson to be learned in this saga is one the Judiciary Report has consistently written about for years - bad friends bring people down. I've seen so many entertainers and athletes get into serious trouble, due to the terrible things toxic, lecherous friends encouraged and egged them on into doing. No one needs friends like that. If you are not smart enough in life to recognize that, you are headed for some very painful and costly lessons.

Benzema dropped from the France squad

11/05/2015 - Didier Deschamps has not called up Karim Benzema or Mathieu Valbuena for France's upcoming friendlies against Germany and England, although he explained that the Real Madrid man was left out because of injury. "I decided not to name him in the squad after speaking with him on Monday. He hasn't recovered from his injury. With regards to the court case, I've not heard anything. Let's allow the law do its job", said Deschamps. Regarding Valbuena's absence, he said: "You'll understand that he isn't in the best mental state right now because of this case"...

If found guilty, he could face a maximum prison sentence of five years...

After presenting himself at the police station in Versailles on Wednesday, Benzema remained in custody overnight after being questioned as part of the investigation into the blackmail case over a sex tape involving his international team-mate...The case has been under investigation since earlier this year when Valbuena took legal action after being contacted by someone claiming to be in possession of an sex tape.

Karim Benzema recorded on a wiretap saying Mathieu Valbuena ‘will pay’ for the sextape [M6]

November 5, 2015 - More details are coming out in the Karim Benzema-Mathieu Valbuena sextape blackmail case, and the details are salacious. To recap, after going into custody on Wednesday, the 28-year-old Real Madrid star was kept in jail overnight, and on Thursday he was charged with involvement in the blackmail saga.

As reported by Eurosport via the AFP, one source has made the following claims to the news agency:  Karim Benzema has recognised that he intervened with Valbuena at the request of a childhood friend approached by three crooks who had a sextape in their possession. He said that he agreed with a childhood friend about what he would say in order that his team-mate would negotiate exclusively with him.

Benzema also stands accused of having discussed the matter with his international teammate Valbuena in October when France met up for matches against Armenia and Denmark. Now French news outlet M6 (as reported by Get French Football News) are reporting that there is evidence to back up those allegations. Benzema has reportedly been recorded on a phone call talking directly about the Valbuena sextape. The Los Blancos forward apparently said: Do not worry. He has no choice. I’ll make him understand. He’ll pay...

After the Valbuena sextape blackmail, Karim Benzema is linked to a cocaine trafficking scandal [Le Point]

November 5, 2015 - Karim Benzema’s life appears to be crumbling in every direction. The Real Madrid striker is facing a five year jail term after he was today charged with blackmail in the Mathieu Valbuena sextape scandal. As if it couldn’t get any worse for the 28-year-old striker, French news outlet Le Point are now raising the possibility that Benzema could be facing a secondary charge in respect of a completely unrelated cocaine trafficking case. Unbelievable!

Away from the world of football, one of the biggest stories gripping France right now is the “Air Cocaine” scandal. Two French pilots were recently sentenced to 20 years in prison for possession of cocaine with intent to traffic. They were arrested on the tarmac at Dominican Republic’s Punta Cana airport in 2013. The French duo have always pleaded their innocence, while, in a twist out of a movie, the pilots managed to leave the Dominican Republic in what appeared to be a well-planned escape by speedboat...

As explained by the excellent Get French Football News, translating the article from Le Point: Le Point have revealed that the number one suspect in the Air Cocaine case, an individual who is accused of having paid for and sponsored transatlantic flights to the Dominican Republic and Ecuador from France, was identified through his links with Karim Benzema.

The judge in charge of the case Christine Ruellan-Saunier has struggled so far to understand who had the financial capacity to pay for several transatlantic flights costing hundreds of thousands of euros. Who could have access to 700kg of drugs in the Andean market to then allow for them to flow to Europe making millions of euros in the process?

The alleged organisers of the flights, Frank Colin, and Nicolas Pisapia, a passenger who was arrested in Punta Cana in March 2013, have both always claimed that the real mastermind behind these transatlantic flights was a man known as “Daryan” or “Rayan”, a football agent and a big football fan.

It was allegedly he who paid for the use of these airliners. According to several people who met this individual, who have now testified before the investigators, “Rayan” appeared to live in Spain or Italy, each time in close proximity to Karim Benzema. Frank Colin has never revealed the true identity of “Rayan”, perhaps because he simply does not know, or perhaps out of fear...
