Jose Mourinho Moaning About Life At Manchester United Without His Family And With A String Of Football Losses On The Pitch

Jose Mourinho

Last year, former football player turned Chelsea FC football manager, Jose Mourinho, 53, was unceremoniously fired from the team after a string of losses and arguments. Mourinho repeatedly maintained he left the then reigning champions and was not terminated from his post, but the Judiciary Report stated back on January 9, 2016 that he was fired (Former Chelsea Coach Jose Mourinho Hauled Into Court For Firing Doctor Eva Carneiro In A Case That Highlights How A Manager Can Lose The Confidence Of His Team).

This month, Mourinho slipped up and admitted he was fired. Mourinho stated of Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich, who fired him, "He was never my friend. We always had the relationship of owner-manager. Very respectful relationship. We were never friends. We were never close to each other. When some managers leave clubs, they like to, I don’t know the right saying, but in Portuguese it is ‘wash the dirty clothes.’ Go back and speak and speak and speak. I leave clubs with a very good feeling, the feeling of doing everything to succeed. I gave everything to the club. I don’t like to go back and speak specially about the bad things. I want to keep the good things – and at Chelsea I had so many good things, in terms of results, friends I have for life, an amazing empathy with the supporters. The supporters didn’t change their relationship with me because of last season and a couple of months of bad results."

Mourinho has coached impressive teams and did well throughout his managerial career, but his temper and disposition got him into trouble. Mourinho has clashed with other managers and staff of teams he managed. His dismissal at Chelsea FC was due to these patterns of behavior. He's not gotten off to the best start in his new post as manager of Manchester United FC.

Mourinho signed with Manchester United 3-months ago, hoping to follow in the footsteps of a man he admires, coaching legend, Sir Alex Fergusson. However, Mourinho has been moaning to the press about life in Manchester, England and that his family has not moved with him, opting to remain in glitzy London, England. It's a bit perplexing that Mourinho's wife, son and daughter have opted not to join him in Manchester. Mourinho stated to the press that he is "miserable."

London is the top city in Britain. It's a very popular place, but Manchester is nice as well. Mourinho has moved into a hotel in Manchester, rather than purchasing a house or flat (condo). It's not like he's broke. Mourinho has made millions from coaching football. Mourinho also owns a mansion in London. Living in a hotel is not the best situation for someone in his position. The standard when a person of means joins Manchester United is they usually purchase a home in Cheshire. The preferred place among Manchester United stars and staff is idyllic Alderley Edge. Mourinho's unwillingness to move into a house or flat in Manchester lends the impression he does not see the move as a something long term.

Mourinho's controversial signing of 23-year-old footballer, Paul Pogba, was very risky. Mourinho signed Pogba for £89,000,000. What's ironic is in 2012 Manchester United had sold Pogba to Juventus for £1,500,000. To buy him back at £89,000,000 is very poor football economics for two reasons. That's Messi money, meaning a goal scorer firing off goals like Lionel Messi and with high shirt sales that can justify that type of expenditure. Pogba is a good player and he is not playing badly, but he's not really scoring many goals. He's only scored one goal in three months.

Tweet on my Twitter page from 3-months ago regarding overspending on the Paul Pogba transfer

Mourinho has over spent on the current squad, spending £156,000,000 upon landing at Manchester United. Mourinho also seeks to spend millions more on new talent. The team is currently number seven on the Premier League table. There are teams who have spent far less money that are ahead of Manchester United on the table.

Last week Mourinho referenced his Manchester United move as "a disaster." At this point is has been a disaster. Manchester United are not getting good results on the football pitch. The team has been intrinsically broken since Ferguson's departure. Mourinho is Manchester United's third manager struggling after Ferguson's winning ways (David Moyes and Louis Van Gaal preceded Mourinho).

Mourinho admits he was fired, not ‘mutually consented’

Date published: Saturday 22nd October 2016 9:48 - Jose Mourinho has finally admitted that he was sacked as Chelsea manager in 2015, not ‘mutually consented’. Mourinho’s second reign as Blues boss ended in ignominious fashion in December of last year, when he left his post mere months after winning the Premier League title.

Mourinho’s second departure was billed as mutual consent but he admitted in his press conference ahead of his return to Stamford Bridge with Manchester United he was sacked. There are no hard feelings, though, and Mourinho is looking forward to seeing some of the lifelong friends he made at the club...

Jose Mourinho's transfer spending since 2004 hits £856.8m with £100m world-record signing of Paul Pogba

Published: 06:49 EST, 10 August 2016 | Updated: 10:26 EST, 10 August 2016 - Jose Mourinho has never been afraid to splash out in the transfer market – and his £100million move for Paul Pogba takes his career spending over the £850m mark. The Manchester United manager has spent an incredible £856.8m on players since arriving at cash-rich Chelsea 11 years ago.

Pogba is, of course, Mourinho's most-expensive buy yet and this summer's transfer window represents his biggest-ever period of spending. United have flashed the cash to bring in Eric Bailly (£30m from Villarreal) and Henrikh Mkhitaryan (£26m from Borussia Dortmund), while also recruiting Zlatan Ibrahimovic on a free transfer. The running total of £156m at United engulfs any of his seasons at Chelsea, Inter Milan or Real Madrid...

Gary Neville Let Go As Coach Of Valencia FC Proving Being A Football Manager Is Not As Easy As It Looks

Gary Neville

Former Manchester United FC star, Gary Neville, has been let go as manager (coach) of La Liga side Valencia, after 4-months on the job. Neville, a former television football pundit, a career he embraced after his successful spell at Manchester United, realized firsthand it is not easy being a manager, after spending years criticizing coaches on TV. Neville is very passionate about football and this is where his criticism of managers emanated from in his scathing critiques.

Twitter teasing Neville about being let go from Valencia

Under Neville, Valencia lost several games at slipped to number 14 on the La Liga table. This recent development regarding Neville supports the March 3, 2016 Judiciary Report article "Football Great Zinedine Zidane Going Through Rough Patch As Manager Of Real Madrid (Do Legends Make The Best Coaches)." Top footballers often have a difficult time becoming successful managers.

Another of many posts on Twitter regarding people teasing Neville about his departure from Valencia

You have to have a coaching mind, not just a football one. It's part disciplinarian, captain and motivational speaker. It is a mentally and emotionally taxing job, but quite rewarding when you make a difference in a squad. You almost have to figuratively go into matches like you're waging war, planning football attacks with military precision.

Football Great Zinedine Zidane Going Through Rough Patch As Manager Of Real Madrid (Do Legends Make The Best Coaches)

Zinedine Zidane

Legendary French football player, Zinedine Zidane, is having a rough time as manager (coach) of the accomplished Real Madrid F.C. squad in Spain. The team’s top footballer is Cristiano Ronaldo, one of the world‘s leading goal scorers. Real Madrid has won La Liga in the past, but they are struggling this season. Real Madrid recently lost to rival Atletico Madrid. FC Barcelona have been dominating with the attacking trio of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Luis “The Teeth” Suarez (Ok, his nickname is not the teeth, but Suarez is famous for using his LOL).

I would sometimes wonder why legendary football players have difficulty coaching teams. Then, there's the theory in reference to the topic that a footballer who is a legend due to his exemplary skill, becomes frustrated when athletes don't grasp the game and what is being taught, on the same level and manner as the top footballer turned manager.

By right, men like Pele and Bobby Charlton, should be among the best managers in the world. However, it has not happened. No one questions their skill, as they are the best, but truthfully, who has replicated the aforementioned athletes' abilities in younger players. That's because other factors come into play. Some athletes have better physical coordination (eye/foot as opposed to hand/eye in other sports) and control than others. Some athletes are naturally faster with better aim than others. This is why practice is essential in a bid to correct any deficiencies, in a bid to make your athletes the best they can be.

Pele, who is often hailed as the best ever, humorously stated in the Mirror newspaper of Manchester United and current coach Louis Van Gaal, "I told him, you know he is a very strong guy and they (Manchester United) should have courage because I am never going to be coach. I don't want to suffer." It's difficult being a manager, because when the team does not win, you will be blamed.

It's easy to take negative newspaper articles and chants at matches personally, when football fans yell for the firing of their favorite team's manager. However, that's when you have to redouble your efforts to bring out the best in the squad and make any necessary changes. Do not become overwhelmed, discouraged or dispirited. Look at it this way, erase the points deficit by digging your way out of that hole, one match at a time. Take it one match at a time.

Karrueche Tran Hid Secret Dates With Memphis Depay For Fear Of Ex-Boyfriend Chris Brown's Reaction

Memphis Depay and Karrueche Tran

Karrueche Tran, 27, the ex-girlfriend of bipolar singer, Chris Brown, 26, has been on secret dates with Manchester United football star, Memphis Depay, 21. Tran kept the dates secret for fear of Brown lashing out, as he is very jealous when it comes to men trying to date her, after she dumped him on Twitter for cheating.

Thus far, Brown and his gang banger friends in the Bloods street gang have publicly threatened supermodel, Tyson Beckford and actor/singer, Marques Houston, for taking photos with Tran that appeared on Instagram. Brown has done his best to scare off men from Tran in some incidents she knows about and others she does not, as people were warned to not publicly say anything.

When Brown heard bisexual Tran was dating singer, Christina Milian, who has dissed him for cheating on her, he shrugged it off. When Brown heard rumors of Tran dating Depay, he tried to console himself in stating “Karrueche doesn’t like d**k." However, she did go on romantic dates with Depay. She wanted to see if he would make a commitment and if the relationship would go somewhere. She kept it quiet due to Brown's temper.

Do remember, months ago Brown stalked Tran to three places, then showed up at her house, bang on her locked door for several minutes while yelling, to the point the neighbors called police due to the noise disturbance and for fear of his growing temper. If Brown finds out she is actually dating Depay he will blow her house up (LOL). It would be Kentucky Fried Karrueche.

Chris Brown

Brown still views Tran as his girlfriend and is reacting to male attention towards her the way a man would someone trying to steal the woman he is dating. Brown has not accepted the end of their relationship and is hoping for a reconciliation (even though he is still messing with other women, in deeds that upset Tran).

You don't travel from London, where you are making a paid appearance, all the way to Manchester up north, which is hours away, just to hang out with a male friend. You do that when you are dating someone you are trying to spend time with in getting to know the person better (and Tran has the right to do that). Depay must be glad Brown hasn't been able to get a visa to Britain (LOL).

Chris Brown's Ex-Girlfriend Karrueche Tran And British Football Player Memphis Day Meet Again And Again

Memphis Depay and Karrueche Tran on Saturday

Uh, look at Depay smirking again (LOL)!

Uh, look at Karrueche's "Uh oh, Chris is gonna see this" face (LOL)!

In June 2015, Manchester United multimillionaire football player, Memphis Depay, 21, took a photo with Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, 27, whilst both vacationed in Miami. It made the tabloids and blogs, with many wondering out loud if they were dating. Depay is seen smirking in the pic (LOL). His social networking followers cheered him on. However, Tran later denied the rumors.

Chris Brown: I see you two!

Fastforward to this month, where Depay and Tran were spotted in the same English night club this past Saturday and leaving at the same time. Two days later, Tran and Depay were spotted shopping in Manchester, England, which is hours away from London (where she is making a paid appearance). Something is going on (and Depay is smirking again LOL). Brown will not be happy over these photos, as he still views Tran as his girlfriend. Seeing as I am an Arsenal fan, this is one less footballer we have to worry about...at least when Chris catches him (kidding, not really, Depay run).

Karrueche Tran Spotted With Manchester United Millionaire Football Star Memphis Depay Who Posts Selfie

Karrueche Tran and Memphis Day

21-year-old Manchester United footballer, Memphis Depay, who signed a $40,000,000 deal with the English football club this year, posted a photo of himself sitting beside Karrueche Tran, the ex-girlfriend of R&B singer, Chris Brown. The two took the cozy photo in Miami yesterday. Depay is smirking and Tran is smiling. The people on Depay's social networking pages are congratulating him (LOL).

Depay is brave, because if you remember correctly, last month, Tran took an innocent selfie with male supermodel, Tyson Beckford and the singer threatened to break his legs and have his Bloods gang associates shoot him in Las Vegas, Nevada (Chris Brown Having Ex-Girlfriend Followed And Threatens To Have His Bloods Gang Members Kill Model Tyson Beckford Over Selfie With Karrueche Tran). I hope Depay has good security (joking).

Side Bar: A $40,000,000 deal…Depay got de-pay as in the pay (LOL)!

Report: Promotion To The Premier League Can Mean An Additional $200,000,000 In Revenue

A recent report indicated a promotion in the Premier League can mean an additional $200,000,000 in revenue to football teams. Watford FC and Norwich FC were recently promoted to the Premier League, in a series of wins that their clubs are counting on to produce increased revenues and raised profiles.

Not only is football the most popular sport in the world, known as “The Beautiful Game” it is also the most lucrative. English teams such as Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City as well as global squads such as Real Madrid and Barcelona FC, are worth billions of dollars and responsible for tens of thousands of jobs.

STORY SOURCE

How much is Premier League promotion worth?

Last Updated: 25/05/15 8:33pm - Norwich's play-off final win has earned them at least £80m - and that could more than double if they stay up in the Premier League next season. Even if Norwich were relegated in 2015/16 they would still receive prize money and TV revenue, plus £24m, £19.2m, and £9.6m in the following three campaigns in parachute payments.

With a new broadcast deal coming into place in 2016/17, if Norwich can stay up they could earn at least £180m. Because Norwich are entitled to parachute payments from their relegation from the Premier League in 2013/14, their totals are actually lower than what Middlesbrough would have stood to earn. Promotion for Boro would have been worth £130m and £230m if they'd stayed up next season.

Championship winners Bournemouth and runners-up Watford can also expect a revenue increase of at least £130m. This is a combination of the extra income they will earn from playing in the Premier League in 2015/16 and parachute payments should they be relegated after one season...

When Sports Stars Poses Turn Hilarious (Photos)

Bar none the funniest sports pose, featuring Manchester United manager, Louis Van Gaal. I'm scared to ask what prompted the comedic pose.

Arsenal F.C. manager Arsene Wenger shows us his sexy side. In a game of "our manager has sexier poses than yours" Arsene beats Louis Van Gaal hands down, pardon the pun.

Arsenal footballer, Jack Wilshere, trying to stop football legend Thierry Henry by grabbing his leg. I applaud your desperation. Keep up the good work (just teasing).

Sprinter, Usain Bolt, is usually the picture of grace. So for the life of me I'm struggling to understand what went down with this pose. It is funny though and for that I thank him for the laugh.

Footballer Angel Di Maria Injured In First Match After Manchester United Signed Him For $100,000,000

Angel di Maria (left) made his debut for Manchester United against Burnley in a draw

Recently, the beleaguered, former championship winning Manchester United football club in England, signed star Real Madrid footballer, Angel Di Maria, for $100,000,000. Manchester United fans got excited, believing it would return the team to football glory. This past Saturday, Di Maria got suited and booted, made his way unto the pitch…and ended up injured during his first match.

Louis Van Gaal (center)

According to the Telegraph, someone kicked Di Maria in the calf creating the problem and the new manager, Louis Van Gaal, took him off the pitch as a precaution. If I pay you $100,000,000, you could get kicked in the no-no’s (crown jewels) and I’m still playing you (LOL). Your spleen could fall out and I would look at the medic and say, "Can't we just slap a bandage on him and get him back in the match."

Alex Ferguson

Football trolls on social networking *cough* such as myself, have had a field day at poor Manchester United’s expense, as they dominated football for years (yea, we were hating). So, their losing streak is stunning to watch. I joked on Twitter that maybe Di Maria got confused and thought he was signing with reigning champs, Manchester City, not Manchester United. Safe to say he knows now (just teasing).

David Moyes

Manchester United went from years of success and confidence under former manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, who retired with the team as number one in the Premier League, to his pessimistic, doubtful successor, David Moyes, telling the squad for nearly a year they will not win (and they played that way and lost).

An example of the football troll jokes about Manchester United on social networking. It's all in good fun and people don't mean it in a bad way.

Though he did not mean to do so, Moyes destroyed their confidence. Social media making Moyes and by default the squad the butt of many jokes didn't help Manchester United's confidence either. Spending all the money in the world on footballers without correcting the confidence issue is not going to work.

Former Manchester United Manager David Moyes Gets Into Bar Fight

David Moyes

Depressed former Manchester United manager, David Moyes, is being accused of assaulting a man during a bar fight in England. Moyes, who was sensationally sacked after 10-months on the job, has been repeatedly teased and made fun of online and in public, over the demise of Manchester United this season, resulting in the 130-year-old football team's worst showing on the Premier League tables (David Moyes Fired As Manager Of Manchester United Affirming This Site's Previous Claims).

The fight between David Moyes and a 23-year-old man took place at a wine bar in Lancashire

Moyes was having a drink in a wine bar in Lancashire when the fight occurred. Very few details are available at this time, but police are investigating the fight, where Moyes is accused of assaulting a 23-year-old man. No one was arrested after the incident, pending the investigation. It's been a rough 2014 for Moyes and things are clearly distressing him, but he needs to rebound.

The Fall Of Manchester United This Season Is A Coaching Lesson In The Dangers Of Demoralization In Sports

Manchester United

The famous British football team Manchester United went from number one to seven in the Premier League this season, giving them their worst finish in the club's 135 year history. The blame was placed on new manager David Moyes, who was relieved of his duties, after 10-months on the job. Moyes received $6,000,000 in pay and promised perks for his brief amount of time with the team.

However, Manchester United has been demoralized due to negative coaching methods espousing doubt, which led to a string of defeats and subsequent taunts from the public about their historic slide from number one. Moyes made many negative proclamations to the team that left them feeling demoralized, inadequate and incapable of winning, something I decried online as a bad idea that would lead to disaster and it did, as the reining champs experienced a record slide on the Premier League tables 7-months later (David Moyes Fired As Manager Of Manchester United Affirming This Site's Previous Claims).

The same squad that was number one, dominating the league, fell to levels near relegation at one point in the season under the new negative manager (coach), in what was a coaching/training lesson worthy of note and study.

In sports, confidence is important. If you believe you are going to lose, you will start performing in that manner and sustain losses. Mind and body have to be in sync. The brain needs to be sending the body the correct messages. Athletes minds need to alert and free of worry. You must have the will to win, the hunger and drive. If you start to have doubts and believe you are a failure, failure is what you will get.

When you see winning teams in a variety of sports hyping themselves up before games, it's not for show. It is positive declarations to stimulate their minds, then bodies into action and great play. This translates into wins, if what was learned in practice is properly put into play while in action during games.

In addition to physical and nutritional regimens, athletes need confidence classes. Nothing grandiose, just simple, affirmative mental exercises, to give them the correct mindset about winning and reinforce their will to win. Athletes who believe they are worthy of winning, capable of becoming the best and that anything is possible perform better with greater results in play (just don't issue serious, non-joking press quotes stating you are the best, because the media will chew you up for it haha).

A clear mind and the will to win are conducive to success in sports. My dad, who was a professional athlete, then a coach, observed this first hand regarding athletics. For example, my dad has joked to me that if an athlete has an argument with his girlfriend or wife before a sporting event, he will lose the game/match. I thought it was hilarious, but he was serious in that having the right mindset, with a clear and settled mind are almost as important as one’s physical training.

Another tip worth noting. One of my dad’s friends, Usain Bolt's coach Glen Mills, espouses players refrain from sex before events. It saps athletes’ strength and leaves them too relaxed. When you are in a very competitive event, requiring more focus and drive, it simply will not be there because you had sex before the sporting event you are participating in.

Report: Manchester United Under Investigation On Wall Street Over Firing Manager David Moyes Which Resulted In Shares Rising

David Moyes

Reports online indicate century's old English football club Manchester United is under investigation on Wall Street by the SEC, over Monday's firing of manager David Moyes, resulting in shares rising. The sudden increase created an infusion of cash to the tune of $200,000,000, catching the regulatory board's eye.

Alex Ferguson

There's nothing to investigate. If you follow English football you'll know Manchester United saw their side suffer unprecedented defeats under new manager Moyes. As a result, many lost confidence in one of the oldest and most famous football clubs in the world. When Moyes was terminated on Monday, people became hopeful the club's fortunes would turn around and return to what it was last season when they won the title and Champions League.

Ryan Giggs

Moyes' sacking has been the talk of social networking dominating Twitter this week. Several hash tags on Twitter concerning him trended highly for two days in a row. The attention attracted new investors. Football legend Ryan Giggs is the interim manager until a permanent replacement is chosen.

David Moyes Fired As Manager Of Manchester United Affirming This Site's Previous Claims

David Moyes (Photo comparison courtesy of a Twitter user)

50-year-old Manchester United manager (coach), David Moyes, who assumed the reins from legendary fellow Scotsman, but proceeded to make ill-advised changes to one of the biggest football (soccer) clubs in the world, has been sensationally sacked today after 10-months on the job. In the October 3, 2013 article "Sir Alex Ferguson's Insightful Interview With Charlie Rose" the Judiciary Report stated:

"Life after Ferguson has been rough for Manchester United. Ferguson's successor, whom he appointed, has made some decisions I do not agree with. The Telegraph reported new manager, David Moyes, fired much of Ferguson's coaching staff, people the team are used to and rely on, in favor of his folks he brought in. It was a mistake discarding the winning blueprint left behind by Ferguson. All great leaders leave a solid blueprint behind, whether it be sports, business or politics.

This past weekend Moyes also told the team and the world, via an interview, he does not believe Manchester United has a chance at winning Champion's League. I was stunned a manager/coach said something like that. Even if he believes that, you don't tell a team/athlete that. It was surprising to read a man on Moyes' level do that (not that I'm complaining as Manchester United's rival Arsenal is my favorite). However, right is right and wrong is wrong and you just don't say things like that to your athletes.

Having stated that, I have to wonder how Ferguson feels about Moyes firing his coaching staff and telling the team forget about winning Champion's League because you won't. I would love to state it's reverse psychology, but I know better - it was just a terrible idea.

I watched an old Mike Tyson fight a few weeks ago, remembering how much (my family and) I loved to watch him box when I was a kid in the 80s, especially the way he'd quickly knock people out. Seriously, if you quickly went to the kitchen for some water or the bathroom to pee, you'd miss the fight. Tyson would crick his neck, then promptly kick your butt.

Tyson went into the ring with the attitude and visage of a gladiator. He didn't flinch and tried to psych out his opponents before he even threw the first punch. It was his game face and it worked. Tyson stated if he stared you down with confidence and you flinched, he knew he had you (meaning you were going to lose the match). Moyes telling the world Manchester United won't win Champion's League was a major flinch empowering rivals. Call it the flinch "heard around the world."

Psychology is a big part of sports. Lining up the mind with the body creates a better performance. A demoralized, panicked and unsure mind will translate into an inferior performance. If your own manager/coach is telling you your not going to win, that's how you're going to play, riddled with doubt and defeat the minute you get out there..."

Well, 7-months later Manchester United has firmly imploded, with their worst finish in the club's storied history. There's a phrase that goes, "If it ain't broke don't fix it." Herein lies David Moyes mistake at Manchester United. As stated on the site over 7-months ago, Moyes should not have fired Manchester United's preexisting, championship winning coaching staff, replacing them with his own associates.

He could have simply brought in a couple people he's worked with if it was that important to him (paid for out of his salary). He tampered with a winning formula and additionally removed the players' security blanket of familiarity in sacking everyone they'd worked with for years.

David Moyes

One should only deconstruct and put back together badly losing teams. You shouldn't wreck winning title holders. It's like crushing/leveling a field with a perfectly ripe crop, rather than harvesting the fruits and vegetables on the trees. You only break up dry, fallow ground, planting new seeds and watering and nurturing it into a great crop.

A handful of people online have blamed Ferguson for choosing Moyes as his successor, but the latter deviated from the former's instructions. Ferguson left a blueprint behind that Moyes discarded, in favor of his own plans and unproven people. Once again, against the former manager's advice, Moyes fired Ferguson's winning coaching staff, replacing them with his own people.

Another problem was based on his expressions, Moyes always looked like he was in over his head, with the pressure of having moved to the then top club in the league getting to him. He looked perpetually panicked and doubtful, with expressions that became online memes on social networking. To rival managers, such expressions is the equivalent of sharks sensing blood in the water and they pounced on Moyes. His squad also picked up on it and became dispirited and doubtful. They were no longer confident and it showed in their expressions and body language on the pitch. It impacted their play. They weren't playing like Manchester United anymore. It's as though they forgot they were the reigning champs.

Arsene Wenger of Arsenal has a serious expression during matches, like he's reasoning and thinking about maneuvers. You really don't know what he's thinking based on his expressions and that's how it should be. He has many wins and accomplishments under his belt. As I've stated on Twitter, Jose Mourinho of Chelsea reminds me of Dr. Evil, but with hair and a tan (LOL). He issues aggressive, demoralizing quotes to opponents, in the vein of Dr. Evil, intimidating rivals before they even hit the pitch. He stands on, not beside the pitch (dude, you know you're really not supposed to do that LOL) with his game face on and it works.

Ferguson, considered the top football manager in history, looked confident and intimidating during games, chewing the life out of his chewing gum like he was holding a grudge against it and anyone who tried to beat his squad. He'd stare people down like a gangster (LOL). He always had that "I'm more of a man than you" look on his face to intimidate rivals and it worked.

At the end of the day, football is also a business. Poor results on the pitch impact the bottom-line and ticket/merchandising sales will decline. Bills don't pay themselves. Old Trafford's massive grounds costs money to maintain and the staff needs to be paid as well. The same goes for all teams. The Glazers borrowed a whopping $1.3 billion dollars against Manchester United. The loan must be repaid and poor results on the pitch unquestionably jeopardizes their ability to meet their financial obligations.

Alex Ferguson

Some state Moyes can console himself with his pay, but no one who loves football wants to experience what he did (he made some wrong turns that backfired). Money doesn't fix that when it comes to career fulfillment in wanting to do very well via great results on the tables. However, Moyes can recover in another post and with a $6,000,000 check to fall back on for 10-months work at Manchester United. It's not the end of the world. In life you have to learn to laugh at yourself and be resilient.

Side Bar: Coaching is in my blood. I think I would make a decent terrifying football manager. I'd probably be in trouble with the league every week, though:

Disciplinary commission: You were overheard telling a striker to FLING a rival out of the way on the pitch.
Me: No, you misheard. I told him to SING to him in a gesture symbolic of brotherhood, freedom and love. "Let freedom ring!" You know how much I love music.

Then, after I was unjustly cleared on the flagrant violation of league rules, I'd privately commend my offending player laughing, "Did you see how he went airborne when you flung him out of the way and scored that goal. He should totally get air miles for flying across the pitch like Superman. There will be something extra in your check for that." I'm just kidding. I have to state that because I don't want this article working against me in the future (LOL).

In all honesty, it would be wonderful to build a team from the ground up in the lower league, then help it rise to the top.

Usain Bolt Asked To Join National Football Team

Usain Bolt

The new coach of the Jamaican national football team, Winfried Schäfer, has expressed an interest in gold medal winning sprint star, Usain Bolt, joining the squad for the 2018 World Cup. For years Bolt has stated he would love to play football, especially for his favorite team Manchester United (being the Arsenal fan I am, I’m gagging right now LOL).

My dad was one of the youngest players ever to play for the Jamaican national team and it is one of his fondest memories. Two years ago, my dad stated he saw Bolt play football and he scored "a solid goal" but was concerned possible injury would negatively impact his sprinting career. He was also one of the charity organizers of a football game Bolt participated in a year ago. He's seen him play and thinks he has potential. My dad, who also coached football and cricket in Jamaica, is longtime friends with Bolt's coach Glen Mills and expressed his hope to him during a conversation that Bolt would dedicate his time to smashing every sprint record he can, as he is fully capable of doing so. That should come first.

However, this new offer issued by Schäfer this month is for the 2018 World Cup. Bolt has stated he plans to compete in the 2016 Rio Olympic games, after experiencing great gold medal success in Beijing (2008) and London (2012). If training with the Jamaican national squad for the 2018 World Cup comes after and will not interfere with Rio 2016, Bolt should definitely go for it, as it would be a wonderful experience and set a record. Continued success to Bolt.

Schäfer wants Bolt to be Reggae Boy

Published: Sunday | March 2, 2014 - IMAGINE Jamaica tackling Mexico, Honduras, the United States, or any other football team for that matter. The team is pushed back into defence, then wins the ball and launches a counter attack. On the end of that play is Usain Bolt. Winfried Schäfer wants that to be a reality.

The German, who officially signed on as head coach of the Reggae Boyz for the 2018 World Cup campaign, is ready to provide the world's fastest man an opportunity to utilise his much-stated football ambition, only this time in the national team. "In the German newspaper, I read about Usain Bolt saying he wants to play football and he wants to play in Manchester. He's a Jamaican and I want him to be on our team," Schäfer told The Sunday Gleaner, while conducting duties as guest editor for the company's World Cup project, which will be launched on Tuesday.

The sprint icon has openly stated his love for football with English Premier League team Manchester United being his international team of choice. He has even been there for training, having gotten an invitation from legendary coach Sir Alex Ferguson. He has also played a number of charity games locally, displaying good skills and a hard left-footed kick, oftentimes scoring. While in his homeland for Christmas holidays, Schäfer said he received more encouraging news about Bolt's footballing skills, which spiked his interest.

"I heard from Puma, the Puma boss, (Bjorn Gulden, CEO). He said he (Bolt) played many times on the small team and he's not bad. "But we can make him better," Schäfer remarked. "When he has good training with our team here in Jamaica, we can make him a very good player. He's very fast, that's clear, but when he learns with the ball then he'll be one of the best players.

Jamaican hero

"This is our goal," the Reggae Boyz coach insisted. "Maybe after the Olympics in Brazil (2016), I want to see him here in our training, that is what I want to tell him...

Sir Alex Ferguson's Insightful Interview With Charlie Rose

Sir Alex Ferguson and Charlie Rose

Former Manchester United football manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, did a very revealing interview with U.S. interviewer, Charlie Rose that is the talk of the football world. The knowledgeable Scotsman spoke about his storied career as the most successful football (soccer) manager in British history. His management and coaching style emphasizes strict discipline and a relentless zeal to win.

During the engaging interview Ferguson spoke of the U.S. civil war and engaged in banter about Abraham Lincoln and General George Patton. Ferguson is a true manager/coach, looking at the pitch (soccer field) like it's a battlefield. In that vein, Ferguson also spoke of seeing real live blueprints of Patton's battle plans.

Alex Ferguson

Ferguson spoke about former Manchester United footballer David Beckham, who later played in America for the Los Angeles Galaxy. This occurred after Ferguson sold him to Real Madrid, where he thought the Englishman would thrive. Ferguson blames Beckham's wife, former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham, whose name her refused to utter, for distracting her husband with the limelight, which he believes impacted his football career. As accomplished as Beckham was during his career, he could have been even more successful without the distraction that is the limelight.

When Ferguson sold Beckham to Real Madrid, I must admit, I didn't understand or support it, as he had become a national treasure in Britain. However, during this week's interview, Ferguson warned once a player becomes bigger than the team, it's time for them to be traded and that was the problem in the Beckham situation.

The Beckhams

Now in retrospect, I understand why Ferguson made the Real Madrid deal. As nice as Beckham appears to be, he began to challenge some of Ferguson's management decisions using his fame as leverage, a practice other athletes in several sports have done and it created distractions. Any successful manager has to have their team under tight reins or there will be chaos. No matter how talented they are, everyone has to be on the same page creating a cohesive unit.

Life after Ferguson has been rough for Manchester United.

Sir Alex Ferguson and his wife Cathy today

If your own manager/coach is telling you your not going to win, that's how you're going to play, riddled with doubt and defeat the minute you get out there.

My dad, who played football internationally for Jamaica beginning at age 19, then went on to coach football and cricket, has always emphasized sports psychology as a great tool in winning. He's right. Sports psychology has helped teams all over the world win.

I love sports and in watching many an event, anytime you see an athlete getting down on themselves or falling apart during play, if they don't mentally get it together fairly quickly, they will lose. Going out there with and maintaining confidence will boost your performance. It means a clear, focused, sharp mind giving the body accurate and precise instructions during play.

The Judiciary Report found a recently posted video on Youtube featuring Bolt playing football for an in-studio shoot in Britain and in a game with Jamaican compatriots Yohan Blake, Warren Weir and Asafa Powell. Bolt is no doubt still harboring dreams of playing for his favorite team Manchester United and the video could pass for an audition tape.

Meanwhile, Blake wants to play professional cricket. It's nice that they are having fun and living their dreams. The site wishes them the best and many more wins. The entire Jamaican Olympics team has made the country very happy with their efforts.
