Usain Bolt Cements His Status As Greatest Sprinter In History During A Great Olympic Games For Jamaica

Usain Bolt's birthday was on the closing day of the Olympics. It's like he was born to do this.

Jamaican sprinter, Usain Bolt, cemented his legend as the top track and field star in history. Bolt took the 2016 Rio games by storm in Brasil, winning the 100m and 200m in three consecutive Olympics. Bolt also won gold in the 4X100 meters with fellow Jamaican sprinters Asafa Powell, Yohan Blake and Nickel Ashmeade.

The Jamaican women's 4X100, comprised of Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, Elaine Thompson, Veronica Campbell-Brown and Christiania Williams, won silver. Jamaica also has the fastest woman in the world, Elaine Thompson, who ran amazing races winning gold in the 100m and 200m. Omar McLeod won a fantastic, historic hold medal for Jamaica, winning the men's 110m hurdles. Shericka Jackson won a hard fought bronze in the women's 400m.

The Jamaican mens 4x400 team comprised of Javon Francis, Fitzroy Dunkley, Nathon Allen and Peter Matthews also brought home the silver. The Jamaican women's 4X400 team also took silver, run by Shericka Jackson, Novlene Williams-Mills, Anneshia McLaughlin and Stephanie Ann McPherson.

The athletes' collective success on the track contributed to Jamaica's 6 gold medals, 3 silver and 2 bronze. Jamaica finished 16th out of 207 nations on the medals table. Per capita Jamaica finished 3rd on the medals table. Jamaica also finished 3rd on the athletics table. For a small island in the Caribbean of 2.8 million people, where track is taught in school from childhood, second only to football, it is a happy and proud achievement that uplifts the nation.

My hope for each Olympic games in regard to Jamaica is the success of the team inspires young Jamaicans to do their best in life. To have hope and know they can achieve anything they set their minds to in life. To know they can make something out of nothing. It holds true for every nation. Some of the top athletes in the world from many nations, started from humble beginnings and through hard work, faith and a drive to win, achieved much in life.

Usain Bolt bows after what he said will be his last Olympics (thank you for blessing us with your talent champ, love you brother)

Jamaica's former parent nation and current head of the Commonwealth of Nations, Great Britain, made an impressive haul at the Olympics as well, finishing second on the medal table with 27 gold, 22 silver and 17 bronze, for a combined total of 66 medals. Congrats Blighty and Northern Ireland.

Japanese Pole Vaulter Disqualified At Olympics Because His Penis Hit The Bar (Video)

Japanese Man’s Pole Costs Him Big Time!

Yesterday, Japanese pole vaulter, Hiroki Ogita, had a hard time at the Rio 2016 Olympics and it was all thanks to his penis. As he vaulted into the air, with the objective of sailing over the bar, his penis had other plans. Hiroki’s penis hit the bar with a thud, costing him the Olympic qualification. That’s right, Hiroki’s penis took out the Olympic bar (LOL). The wrong head was doing the thinking on that pole vault attempt. Can you imagine, you train for 4-years, only to flop out at the last minute. When your family, friends and other people back home ask you what happened you have to tell them, “My willy hit the bar” (LOL). On a positive note, women online are so impressed with the appearance of his manhood, he won't have any trouble getting a date.

Hiroki Ogita

Speaking of body parts, Tongan Olympian, Pita Nikolas Taufatofua, 32, caused quite a stir during the opening ceremony of the Olympics, as he strode out as the shirtless, oiled up flag bearer for his nation. Women on social networking couldn’t help but comment on his stunning physique. He ended up making the news in many countries.

Pita Nikolas Taufatofua was the star of the opening ceremony at the 2016 Rio Olympics

The hosts on NBC's Today Show sexually harassing Pita. Well done ladies. This is the only time sexual harassment is acceptable (I'm just teasing).

Some men cried sexism on Twitter, complaining that if they stated something of a similar fashion about a female athlete, in the manner women have been tweeting about Pita, females would slam them for it. You know what, we women can comment on men looking good, but you men aren’t allowed to do the same (wink). It’s called a double standard. Deal with it (LOL).

Side Bar: you mean to tell me the Jamaican team couldn't send out Usain Bolt or Asafa Powell shirtless and swimming in coconut oil like Team Tonga did with Pita...and this wouldn't have been unusual for Asafa cause he's usually got his shirt off anyway (I'm just kidding).

Asafa Powell Faces Retroactive Ban In Jamaica Over Tainted Supplements New Trainer Christopher Xuereb Gave Him Without Telling Him The True Contents While Trainer's Girlfriend Tests Positive In Canada As Well

Jamaican sprint star, Asafa Powell, tested positive for the innocuous banned substance, Oxilofrint, after taking on new trainer, Christopher Xuereb of Canada and has been given an 18-month retroactive ban by the Jamaican government. This was the first time in Powell’s 13-year career that a test came back positive for a banned substance. Previously, Powell was drug tested 150 times and each test result was clean. It is clear Xuereb is the problem.

Since the time of the announcement, regarding Powell’s hotel room and that of fellow sprinter, Sherone Simpson, being raided by police in Italy over the positive test, a number of facts have emerged in the case. For example, Xuereb's girlfriend, sprinter Esther Akinsulie, tested positive for a banned substance and was given a six-month ban in Canada. Xuereb was also a lesser known worker in a lab whose supplements created positive tests for U.S. track stars.

The banned substance found in the drug Epiphany that Xuereb gave Powell and teammate Simpson, also did not enhance their performance, as stated by a scientist under oath. It is a substance commonly found in high blood pressure medication.

Powell testified he trusted Xuereb, but after the positive drug test found out the supplements he gave him, Epiphany, contained Oxilofrint, while the Epiphany from the drug company’s website did not contain Oxilofrint. Lab tests revealed this fact. Epiphany is advertised online as safe, so any due diligence done regarding research on the drug would turn up nothing illegal, banned or sinister.

However, lawyers assert, as subsequent lab tests revealed, the Epiphany tablets Powell and Simpson were given was tampered with by Xuereb. Epiphany is advertised online as safe, so any due diligence regarding the drug would turn up nothing illegal, banned or sinister.

I find it hard to believe that Powell and Simpson, who’ve been clean for well over a decade, would take a banned substance all of a sudden and on the day of the national championships when they knew they would be tested. I was informed by a credible source, “They did not know the extent of what they were taking” due to Xuereb having deceived them regarding the true contents of the supplements lawyers publicly allege the new trainer had tampered with.

Why would these athletes wait until so late in their careers to start doping up and on a day they knew they would be drug tested for track trails to qualify for the national team (neither qualified, attesting to the fact Oxilofrint does nothing to aid the performance of sprinters).

As the ban is retroactive, this means 31-year-old Powell will only be ineligible for another few months. However, he should work to publicly clarify the misconceptions surrounding the case, where he and Simpson were unfairly sabotaged. Xuereb should be held legally accountable for his harmful actions. Any trainer or medical adviser that provides an athlete with tainted substances should face prosecution under the law.

In short, athletes in all sports need to be careful regarding who they trust, the supplements they are given and where they eat. Not everyone is your friend. Some have terrible motives based in bribery, money and malice.

Trainer Arrested In Italy For Sabotaging Jamaican Sprint Club Via Steroids Laced Food Supplements

Asafa Powell

According to mainstream press reports, a trainer has been arrested in Italy for giving three top Jamaican sprint stars steroids laced food supplements without their knowledge. The trainer came to Jamaica in May 2013 to work with the MVP track club and one month later positive drug tests ensued, when the Jamaican regulatory authority administered tests for race trials at Nationals in Kingston.

As a result of the tainted food supplements, for the first time in over a decade of professional racing, Jamaican gold medalists Asafa Powell and Sherone Simpson, who belong to the MVP track club, have tested positive for a banned substance. These athletes were repeatedly tested for many years without issue, prior to the aforementioned trainer descending on Jamaica's shores this summer. Why would you go into another person's nation with such ill-will and do such a thing. That's sabotage and worthy of extradition under existing international treaties. What kind of illuminati mess is this.

Sprint stars Gay, Powell fail drug tests

...Jamaican sprint star Powell, a former 100m world record holder, confirmed that he had tested positive for a banned stimulant at his country's national trials for Moscow. But the 30-year-old strenuously denied any wrong doing. Powell, also 30, took to Twitter to confirm his dope test failure. "I will confirm that a sample I gave at the National Trials in June has returned 'adverse findings'," he said. "The substance oxilofrine was found, which is considered by the authorities to be a banned stimulant.

"I want to be clear that I have never knowingly or wilfully taken any supplements or substances that break any rules. I am not now nor have I ever been a cheat." Powell held the 100m world record between June 2005 and May 2008. He won two bronze medals in the 100 metres at the 2007 and 2009 world championships. He also had one gold in the 4x100 metre relay in 2009.

But he has never managed an individual sprint medal at the Olympics, finishing fifth in the 2004 Athens and 2008 Beijing Olympic 100 metre finals and limping home in eighth place in the final in London last summer. According to media reports, Powell was one of five athletes who failed drug tests at the national trials last month in Kingston. Sherone Simpson, a silver medallist in the women's 100m at the 2008 Olympics, was one of them, according to a report in Britain's Daily Telegraph.

The Jamaica Gleaner newspaper claimed the substance taken may have been contained in a food supplement. "My team and I will try to do everything we can to get this issue dealt with as best as we can," Simpson told the Gleaner. "Thanks to all who have been supporting me, I really appreciate it at this time."

Later Sunday, Powell's agent, Tara Playfair-Scott, revealed on Twitter that a man who allegedly supplied the supplements had been arrested in Italy. "He has been detained by Italian Law Enforcement in conjunction with this matter. The investigations continue," she wrote.

Italy police arrest Asafa's physical trainer over banned substance

2013-07-14 15:45:37 - Police in Italy have reportedly detained a physical trainer that had been living with Asafa Powell, and providing him with supplements, that may have contributed to his positive drug test for Methylsynephrine, The Gleaner understands. The trainer whose name has not been released was detained and evidence removed from his residence. He began working with the MVP camp in May.

Powell has also reportedly handed over supplements he had in his possession that were given to him by the trainer. Some of those same tainted supplements may also have been supplied to Sherone Simpson, sources said.

News broke today that Powell and Simpson, Olympic and World Championship medallists were among five Jamaican athletes who returned adverse analytical findings during the recent National Championships held at the National Stadium from June 20-23. Two other senior athletes and a junior athlete also returned positive tests in their ‘A’ samples.

The Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission (JADCo) confirmed that it had received the reports of the findings, but was unable say much more on the matter, according to JADCo Chairman, Dr Herb Elliott. "The process of results management has commenced in accordance with JADCo anti-doping rules."

Powell subsequently released a statement in which he declared his innocence. "I want to be clear in saying to my family, friends, and most of all my fans worldwide that I have never knowingly or willfully taken any supplements or substances that break any rules. I am not now — nor have I ever been — a cheat," he said.

"My team has launched an internal investigation and we are cooperating with the relevant agencies and law enforcement authorities to discover how the substance got in my system. I assure you that we will find out how this substance passed our rigorous internal checks and balances and design systems to make sure it never happens again," Powell said.

Simpson, who Gleaner sources say may have also been an unwitting victim of the suspect taken into custody, also declared her innocence. "I would not intentionally take an illegal substance of any form into my system. I want to sincerely say to my family (especially my parents, grandparents and siblings), Paul Doyle (agent), MVP track club, fellow athletes, former sponsors and the rest of Jamaica, that l am deeply sorry for any hurt or embarrassment this positive test may have caused, she said.

Sprinter Asafa Powell Wants To Nancy Kerrigan Teammate Usain Bolt (Break His Legs)

Jamaican sprinter and gold medalist, the charming and charismatic Asafa Powell, did a funny television interview in Australia last week, where he jokingly stated he wants to break Usain Bolt’s legs, for taking his title of the fastest man in the world (get him Asafa - kidding). That's right, Asafa wants to Nancy Kerrigan his teammate Usain.

Usain to Asafa: You're kidding, right? Dude if you ever...

Asafa: he won't see it coming... *Dr. Evil laugh*

During the 1994 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, figure skater Tonya Harding hired someone to jump rival Nancy Kerrigan, hitting her leg with a crowbar with the intent of breaking it, so she could win the competition. However, the press, late night talk show hosts and comedians turned the whole thing into a big punch line. Everyone found it funny except, well, Nancy Kerrigan.

Nancy Kerrigan screaming "Why" like she got shot, after a man hired by rival tried to break her leg, but missed, only bruising it

Tonya Harding crying when she lost anyway

But back to Asafa and Usain, the two national heroes are friends, who joke with each other online, so of course he was kidding. For example, when people on Twitter kept asking Asafa, Usain Bolt and compatriot Yohan Blake to make a remake of the hit film "Cool Runnings" Powell's response was funny.

Cool Runnings

Asafa shut it down immediately, hilariously stating no, because by the time towering Bolt gets into the bobsled, no one else could fit in it (LOL). I can totally see Blake as "Sanka" from the original film. Yohan has that "long hair don’t care" thing going on like the movie character. I would pay to see that movie. In closing, continued success to them all.

"Sanka" from "Cool Runnings" (left) and Yohan Blake (right)

Side Bar: during the interview posted above, the host said they asked his teammates what to ask him. The question they came up with? Ask him if he is the "pumpum king" which is Jamaican slang for "vagina king" as a lot of women like him and he has dated some of Jamaica's most beautiful women. Getting them to ask him that was dead wrong (LOL). Poor thing blushed and couldn't answer.

Jamaica Wants To Host A Diamond League Track And Field Event On The Island

Yohan Blake, Usain Bolt, Michael Frater and Nesta Carter

With the tremendous success of the Jamaican athletics program, breeding such sprint stars as Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake, Warren Weir, Michael Frater, Nesta Carter, Asafa Powell and Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce, to name a few, the government wants to host a Diamond League track and field meet on the island.

Shelly Ann Fraser-Pryce

In light of Jamaica's contributions to the sport, it would be fitting, not to mention, fun. The Jamaican government has stated retrofitting would need to be undertaken on the national stadium, but it could be done. There would also be no shortage of local volunteers to help with the event.

The Judiciary Report found a recently posted video on Youtube featuring Bolt playing football for an in-studio shoot in Britain and in a game with Jamaican compatriots Yohan Blake, Warren Weir and Asafa Powell. Bolt is no doubt still harboring dreams of playing for his favorite team Manchester United and the video could pass for an audition tape.

Meanwhile, Blake wants to play professional cricket. It's nice that they are having fun and living their dreams. The site wishes them the best and many more wins. The entire Jamaican Olympics team has made the country very happy with their efforts.

Nobody Told Me Al B. Sure Was Running In The Olympics

New Sprinter On The Block

Ryan Bailey and his adorable son

There are so many attractive athletes in the Olympics. Usain Bolt, Yohan Blake, Asafa Powell, Michael Phelps, James Ellington and Jason Kenny to name but a few. There's also a new guy named Ryan Bailey, who is an American sprinter.

Al B. Sure

A lot of women and Kanye West did a double take when Bailey appeared on the screen two days ago during the 100m sprinting finals at the London 2012 Olympics. Even my 16-year-old cousin was asking about him. I thought he looked like handsome R&B singer, Al B. Sure. Bailey did go on to lose the race, but losing never looked so good.

Miss Universe 2010

The 2010 Miss Universe pageant was very interesting and entertaining. All the contestants were beautiful and represented their nations well. A fabulous looking, Miss Mexico, Jimena Navarrete, captured the crown. Beautiful, Miss Jamaica, Yendi Phillips placed second. Gorgeous, Miss Australia, Jesinta Campbell, placed third. Congrats to all that participated, as it was a lovely event.

It was good to see Brett Michaels up and about, looking like his former self, after the medical setbacks he experienced months ago. His bandanna was on point and the Donald's hair was flipped to perfection.

Side Bar: Yendi Phillips is sprinter Asafa Powell's girlfriend. Powell and fellow sprinter, Usain Bolt are friends. He better hide her from him, as other sites are reporting, Bolt threw his back out with his beauty queen girlfriend and is out for the rest of the year. Usain needs to lay off the Irish Moss (that's Jamaican Ginseng). I'm just kidding.
