Premier Photography of Texas, owned by James Evans, have been sued by a black couple who state their wedding pictures have the words 'Poor Nig*er Party" stamped on them. The couple retained Evans to take pictures of their wedding and he delivered the finished product with an insulting racial slur stamped on all of them.

The couple's attorney, Cathy Hale stated of the incident, "They trusted this company to provide them with a service on their most important day and what they got was the complete opposite they got a slap in the face. Every time they think about their anniversary, they think about this. It’s never going to go away." The case has now been settled, after Evans defiantly challenged the couple to sue over his inappropriate and racist behavior, which led to him being slapped with a lawsuit.

Settlement reached in lawsuit over racial slur found on wedding photo

Posted: 9:15 PM, April 02, 2015 - HOUSTON - A settlement has been reached in lawsuit involving a racial slur found printed on photos taken during a 2012 wedding reception. A Houston area couple filed the lawsuit in 2014 against Premier Photography and its owner, James Evans. Documents filed in the lawsuit read the couple rented a booth from Premiere and paid for an attendant. The couple, who are African-American, claim at some point during the reception some guests received photos from the booth with the words, "Poor (n-Word) Party," printed on the bottom. 

Attorney Cathy Hale said the bride's sister received one of those photos but chose not to tell the couple for fear of ruining their wedding day. Hale said the couple learned of the photos several months later. Hale said the couple filed the lawsuit after contacting Evans and receiving what she characterized as a non-apologetic response. Court records read at one point Evans did offer to refund the couple the $450 cost of the photo booth rental, but they declined. A settlement in the suit was reached Thursday and both sides released written statements. 

"We regret this issue escalated into litigation as a result of poor communication between the parties at the time the caption was discovered," wrote Hale. "My clients accept Mr. Evans' and Premier Photography's statement that he and Premier Photography reject the inappropriate caption printed on the strips and what they represent."

The public bashed Jolie and Pitt, whom became an atheist at the insistence of his faithless, controlling girlfriend-turned-wife. Pitt and Jolie's cheating also opened a wave of criticism regarding Aniston, with some openly wondering about her being single for years after the split. Some in the press resorted to making up stories about Aniston, writing about incidents that never happened. Some tried to make her look like a bitter divorcee and spinster, when she had gracefully dealt with Pitt's disgraceful cheating under an intense press glare.

It is ironic and humorous that anyone would criticize a beautiful woman, who is a millionaire, like she can't get a man. Look at Aniston. Some of you really thought someone who looks like that couldn't find a man. Aniston was more trying to keep everyone out of her business. Her actions indicate this fact all the time. West is highly irritating and annoying. Not to mention promiscuous.  A woman made claims during the couple's engage that West cheated on Kardashian with her. The woman was a Kardashian look alike. When promiscuous men get married, the sexual proclivities they’d developed when single become a challenge regarding staying faithful to their wedding vows. West also has many groupies chasing him. Being married to a famous man is not easy. Some women don't care who they hurt in damaging other people's marriages.

Reality star Kim Kardashian got married. If it feels like déjà vu, as in she’s done this (and many men) already, it is, as this is her third wedding. Kardashian’s previous marriage lasted all of two and a half months. Kardashian’s latest sucker, I mean husband, is contentious, irritating rapper Kanye West. The two have a lovely daughter together, North West (not to be confused with the airline). 

The couple’s pre-wedding party took place in France and the actual nuptials were exchanged in Italy in front of family and friends…and of course the cameras. Kardashian does nothing without a camera present. Sadly, Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend, Ray J, who made and sold a sex tape of her, didn’t crash her wedding to Kanye (I want my $20 back Ray J - a deal’s a deal! I’m kidding). 

However, there was another problem. Kim’s brother, Rob Kardashian, fled the wedding festivities in France, booking a plane ticket back to America. He fell out with his family while he was there. He reportedly didn’t want to take pictures over his significant weight gain. Rob is retaining a lot of water in his face, which is often indicative of taking some form of medication (or excessive alcohol consumption). 

Maybe Kardashian has a health problem. Either way, a good colonic, as well as eliminating carbs and unnatural sugar sources for at least a month should help. Sad he didn’t go to the wedding, though, as that’s his family (I almost feel sorry for Rob - dude you‘re related to Kanye now. I‘m so sorry for you LOL).

The “Keeping Up With The Kardashians” star is driven by money and fame, not love and it has led to enormous public ridicule. Broadcast rights as well as paid sponsors make up the bulk of the money Kardashian will pocket for walking down the aisle for the third time. She has made a mockery of the institution of marriage in being so fickle and materialistic.

Media Take Out is reporting a Latina model tried to crash the wedding of Miami Heat basketball star, Lebron James, to his high school sweetheart Savannah. The article described the model as Latina not to race bait, but to imply it is video model Carmen Ortega, who is Hispanic.

Ortega tried to stop James' wedding with a scandalous tell-all interview, which included text messages, claiming James wanted to have sex with her weeks before the nuptials. Ortega stated she wanted to talk to Savannah to let her know that James got flirty with her at a group dinner and in text messages, but had no way of contacting her.

Ortega also broke up the relationship of football player Reggie Bush and reality star Kim Kardashian, by having sex with him in a threesome, then filming the interiors of his home and uploading it to the internet to let Kardashian know she is cheating with him. Scandalous, publicity seeking video model, Carmen Ortega, is trying to break up the pending nuptials of Miami Heat star, Lebron James, to his longtime girlfriend, Savannah Brinson, who is the mother of his children. The wedding is scheduled to take place next month in a private ceremony.

Ortega is barely famous for secretly recording and releasing a video tape showing the interiors of NFL football star Reggie Bush's home, after she had a threesome with him and another woman. The tape she made and deliberately leaked for attention and fame that continues to elude her, destroyed his relationship with reality star Kim Kardashian.

Now she's at it again. Ortega released text messages between herself and Lebron James with the intent of causing problems, attempting to derail his upcoming wedding to Brinson, who doesn't deserve this. Ortega also aired out singer Jason Derulo, stating he is cheating on songstress Jordin Sparks. Ortega even implies things got a little too friendly between her and Derulo.

After Ortega's troublemaking claims and text message release, Lebron posted an item to social networking that was a vague reference to people wanting to ruin others' lives when they see things going well for them. Indeed. Ortega tried to state Lebron cheated with her, whilst presenting no real proof of said claims. The text messages she released do not prove they had sex. She sounds like a bitter gold digger, upset she has been unable to land a rich, famous guy in marriage.

Since Ortega wants a rich, famous man she really needs to know they dislike disloyalty, as they have a lot to lose. They dislike being unable to trust that their significant other won't go telling all their business on the street, damaging their name and earning potential. They do not like indiscretion, being manipulated or forced into marriage or a relationship. Since you clearly seek a rich and famous guy, even if it means breaking up other people's relationships and pending weddings, you'd do well to stop the publicity seeking stunts, because the type of man you seek will not trust you.

If a man doesn't want to marry you, don't try to destroy his life for it. Why would you want to marry someone, who doesn't want to marry you. Makes no sense. There are many women out there, who have realized the man they had an interest in was not the one for them and vice versa and let they go. Why try to cling to someone that is not the one for you, just because he is rich and famous. If you care about someone, you'd want them to be with the one they truly love, even if it's not you. Lebron and Savannah really seem meant to be. Let them be.

Are You Marrying The Right Person?

Love is something special. When you find the right one you know. Marriage is a logical step and a great one. The question is are you marrying the right one. It is a huge life decision that will impact the course of your life. It is not one to be pressured into or rushed into, as that is your life.

Marriage should never be about money or social status. It should be about love and commitment. Making a vow to the one you truly love and believe is your soulmate. Love is priceless. It should not be taken lightly, undervalued or overlooked.

Sometimes people rush into marriage and it creates serious problems in their lives. They end up marrying the wrong one and seriously regretting it. Sometimes people think they are in love, when it is actually lust. They believe they want someone who is not the right person for them, because they are acting on their hormones. Looks fade (that goes for men and women). What you are left with afterwards is what will last in your life, so make sure this is the right person for you.

Compatibility is very important. Sometimes women cling to men who simply are not right for them and rush them down the altar only for it to end in disaster, heartbreak and regret. Sometimes men marry women for all the wrong reasons - lust, pressure from family and friends, an unplanned pregnancy used to trap them.

Speaking of that, family and friends need to be careful about trying to tell others who they should marry. You may mean well, but end up pushing the person into marriage with the wrong person, then later regret interfering. Don't tell people who they should marry.

I'll cite a famous example. Prince Charles fell madly in love with Camilla Parker, who felt the same way about him. They were both single, young and very much in love. The compatibility was there, but some didn't see it. His family and friends stated she was not suitable for him, because she did not come from what they deemed the right background and was a year older than Prince Charles.

Camilla, unable to deal with what Charles was being told, broke off the relationship, then ran off and married another man. According to books on the subject, when Prince Charles received word the love of his life had ran off and married someone else, he was devastated. His family and friends' advice had ruined their lives, which would become more and more apparent as time went by.

Prince Charles later married my favorite royal, Lady Diana, who became Princess Diana. However, Diana and Charles were totally incompatible and he based on his own words, was not in love with her. He was being pressured into marriage by family and friends to produce an heir. After Charles and Diana married, it became apparent they were incompatible. They were like night and day. He loved the country, she loved the city. He loved books, she liked magazines. He loved museums and art, she loved fashion.

The age gap didn't help either. It caused problems between Charles and Diana. Where the Palace thought, like so many do, someone younger was the better choice, they were wrong in this case, as it caused major problems with Diana and Charles, who simply did not relate to each other. There was a generation gap and they did not share the same interests.

Worst of all, Charles was not in love with Diana. The man looked glum in pre-wedding interviews and when asked if he is in love gave a roundabout answer that indicated no. That was a warning sign no one heeded. Charles was still carrying a flame for Camilla, which led to ill-advised incidents of adultery during the marriage and Diana cheated with other men as well.

The marriage caused Diana and Charles an enormous amount of misery, heartbreak and public ridicule, rocked the monarchy, then ended in a very acrimonious divorce. They simply did not belong together and the very thing the Palace sought to preserve, the monarchy, took a terrible blow because of a marriage that was not meant to be.

After Diana died, Charles went right back to the love of his life, his soulmate, Camilla, marrying her. He should have married Camilla from the start, as his family and friends' advice was completely wrong. They say hindsight is 20/20, but people know who they love before they marry. He and Camilla knew in their hearts it was true love, but other people came between them, building walls and barriers that should not have been there, which is the case for quite a few couples, who go on to regret listening to those that led them wrong, albeit unintentionally.

I've had friends ask me who I think they should marry, regarding someone they were dating, but I don't believe in giving specific advice in such matters, because at the end of the day, I don't know their hearts, who they truly love or who God made for them. It's not my place or anyone else's, other than the two people in love and God, to make such a determination. In such situations, I usually just pray for the person that God will guide them into making the right decision. 

Marrying the wrong person can turn into a nightmare. Sadly, people end up divorcing trying to extricate themselves from a marriage that was not based in true love, via a situation that could cost them all they've worked for, destroying their finances and taking them on a terrible emotional roller coaster.  

There is someone ideal for everyone. People won't always agree on every single thing in their lives, but for each person there is someone out there who is ideal for them. Everyone deserves to find and marry that truly love. Don't sell yourself short. You deserve the best and the one that is right for you.

Before you get married, pray about it. Ask God to show you via circumstances if the person you seek to marry is the right one, lest you make the wrong decision. Ask God for guidance and to show you who the right person is for you, lest you make a mistake you end up regretting for the rest of your life. God can bring the right person into your life. Pray and have faith.

Marrying For Money

A good friend of mine married a millionaire years ago, because she thought he was stable and would be a good provider. She didn't marry him for his money per se, but his financial stability was the dealmaker. However, she really wasn’t in love. Now she’s miserable. He’s kind of getting the picture that she married him because he was a friend and good earner, but her heart wasn’t in it.

The man she was actually in love with didn’t have his act together at the time. He wasn’t bad or anything, just undecided about what he wanted to do with his life. Not long after he figured it out and is doing very well (he went to med school). Now she has regrets.

Women shouldn’t sacrifice love, as it is very important. You can’t beat the feeling you get when you’re in love. It's priceless. Your true love may very well be rich. Then again, he may not be. But you shouldn't judge a person based on how much or little they have in the bank.

Marriage is a serious commitment. It’s supposed to be for, "For richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health..." Money can disappear just as fast as it appears. To enter into a marriage because of it is not a good idea. At least love lasts.

A thinner Middleton attended the wedding of a friend in England, attempting to put her best foot forward, during what has been a very trying time. Middleton is not out of the woods, as more publications are threatening to publish more photos in a scandal she would soon rather forget.

Former NFL football player, Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson was on Twitter yesterday making comments about his wife, Evelyn Lozada, who has filed for divorce after one month of marriage, due to the fact he head butt her during a heated argument about cheating.

In response to a question on Twitter, regarding why he tattooed Lozada's face on his leg after she filed for divorce, Johnson replied, "I don't give a flying pretzel in skittle rainbow h*ll what she filed for. Divorce? Child please...that's my WIFE." Yea, but the only problem is, now she is afraid of you after the domestic violence incident. It's sad when people's marriages fall apart. 

There seems to be a double standard online regarding Lozada and Johnson. Some bloggers deem her a gold digger (she is) and a groupie (she is) but they are stating she has had sex with many men, so she somehow deserved to be attacked, which isn't right. Never mind Johnson has been with many women, but no one is bringing up his sexual dalliances.

For a married man to buy condoms one month after marriage says he is sexually promiscuous. Lozada, who I'm not a fan of, had a right to be angry at that discovery in his car. Only a naive person or fool would think that such a discovery was not a sign of trouble.

It's not everyday that a person can say Usain Bolt attended their wedding. However, a couple in Manchester, England can say just that, after what occurred recently in Britain. As Jamaican gold medalist sprinter, Usain Bolt walked through the lobby of the hotel he was staying in after the Olympics and when he was "Guest of Honor" at Manchester United's Old Trafford grounds, wedding guests stopped him for autographs and pictures. Bolt also ended up taking pics with the bride and groom, who looked quite happy with the turn of events. Now there's a great story you can tell your children when they grow up.

With so many negative shows on television portraying black people in an unflattering light, it would have been helpful had shows like "Basketball Wives" and "Real Housewives of Atlanta" been more positive.
