Nate Parker Being Accused Of Raping A Drunk Woman Who Later Committed Suicide Destroys The Opening Sales Of Film 'Birth Of A Nation'

Nate Parker

"Birth Of A Nation" director and actor Nate Parker, 36, is embroiled in controversy, as news surfaced he was arrested, tried and acquitted of rape while in university at Penn State. Parker's accuser later committed suicide, unable to cope with what had transpired. Parker was told to publicly apologize, lest his past ruin the ticket sales of his film "Birth Of A Nation" but he refused to do so. The movie flopped at the box office this past weekend, taking in $7,000,000 in ticket sales on a $17,000,000 budget. This is in addition to $10,000,000 in marketing costs.

In 1999, Parker asked an 18-year-old classmate out. He invited her back to his dorm room and tried to remove her underwear. She resisted, but offered to and did  perform oral sex on him. Parker asked her out on a second date. However, while waiting 2-hours for Parker to arrive, she began drinking at the bar. She became  drunk from consuming  4-5 alcoholic drinks.

Parker took the drunk woman back to his dorm room stating she could sleep off the drunkenness. However, while she was asleep, Parker began having sex with her, which woke her up. Parker's roommate, Jean Celestin, had sex with her as well. Parker offered a third friend who came by the room the opportunity to have sex with the drunk woman, but he declined. The doctor who examined her stated in writing her cervix exhibited the signs of, "Infection or some type of trauma."

Parker and Celestin were arrested for having sex with the drunk woman and put on trial. Parker was acquitted. His friend was initially convicted, but the conviction was later overturned when the accuser refuses to go through another trial. The victim, who was bullied on campus over her claims of rape, was distraught.

She later killed herself in 2012. Her brother later told Variety magazine, "The trial was pretty tough for her." It is for all rape victims, as defense lawyers ask hurtful demoralizing questions, paint victims as whores and the trauma of reliving and recounting the rape during the case is damaging for victims.

The point that sticks with me in this matter is a drunk person cannot grant consent. Parker and Celestin should not have had sex with the drunk woman he brought to his dorm after a date. It was an opportunistic rape. To essentially pass the drunk woman around to his friends is equally bad. The victim later stated she had no intention of having sex with Parker, as she had just met him a few days prior and only engaged in sexual intercourse during a long term relationship.

Beyonce's 'Formation' Tour And 'Lemonade' Album Experiencing Big Sales Declines

Beyonce

Radar Online website asked if self-professed "Queen Bey" is "losing her spot on the throne." First of all, there's only one queen in music and that's Aretha Franklin. Therefore, Beyonce needs to have a seat with that garbage. Secondly, Radar asked the question due to the fact Beyonce's new "Formation" tour is flopping. Beyonce has cancelled her Nashville, Tennessee tour date due to poor ticket sales. The Sandra Rose website reports, Beyonce performed to a "half empty stadium of less enthusiastic fans" in Atlanta, Georgia. The fact of the matter is many dates on the "Formation" tour are not sold out. A tour is not sold out when people can easily go online and buy tickets. Sales are weak.

Things are not looking well on the album front either. Beyonce's poorly written "Lemonade" album is doing less than half the number in sales of her previous 2013 self-titled album. Beyonce's 2013 album sold 1,000,000 in its debut week. "Lemonade" is on course to sell 485,000 in its debut week. Ironically, those figures include music streaming and due to the brazen dishonesty via sales tampering that repeatedly occurs at Tidal, a company she co-owns with husband Jay Z, the number is even less than the released data.

Beyonce and her cheating husband Jay Z are overexposed. It's just too much of them. They are in your face all the time. People are also tired of the treacherous couple constantly stealing copyrighted material from a number of people to prop up their careers. They have been hit with so many lawsuits that the public routinely mocks them online as "thieves" and "swagger jackers." Jay Z and Beyonce are so bold with the thefts, they are not even bothering to fully remove the original singers' vocals anymore. People are complaining all over social networking about the constant thefts. It's hurting their sales.

Jay Z and Beyonce

Beyonce using her marriage problems in including items on "Lemonade" about Jay Z's rampant infidelity has also not gone over well. The public realizing the couple's relationship is not what it appears. Beyonce's uncle insisted she married Jay Z as a business arrangement, deeming him "ugly." Jay Z married Beyonce for bragging rights, while cheating with his artist Rihanna, then Rita Ora as well (among others). The marriage is a sham (Twitter Calls Jay Z Too 'Ugly' To Cheat On Beyonce). The public needs to get better role models.

It's jarring the way some are holding on to the couple's relationship for dear life, when they have nothing to do with it. A few have become so obsessed they have completely detached from reality.  A woman started a Beyonce cult, then created an altar full of Beyonce items and killed herself in front of it (23-year-old Taniya Hattersfield). Some are threatening to beat and kill Jay Z's mistresses. This is all going too far and over people you don't know, who don't care about you. They just want your money via buying their stolen products.

I read a strange and deluded item on social networking stating everyone has the same 24-hours in each day that Beyonce does, which I found hilarious. What does Beyonce do with her days, other than sit on her butt and steal from others, illegally taking payment and credit for things she did not do. Anyone can seem like they're winning doing that. However, God doesn't like ugly and there's always a price to pay for doing such things that does not make it worth it in the longrun.

Did Beyoncé’s ‘Lemonade’ Album Flop? Low First-Week Sales Despite ‘Formation’ Social Media Hype

May 2, 2016 - Did Beyoncé’s decision to talk about her marital problems with Jay Z backfire as far as her music is concerned? It appears so. After HBO hyped up the mysterious TV special of what became Beyoncé’s album release in the form of a televised movie, it appeared as if everybody couldn’t hide their excitement for some new music from Queen Bey herself.

But despite having caused all this controversy with the divorce-inspired songs, the HBO special, and a devoted fanbase (who helped keep the hashtag #Lemonade trending for several days), when the album’s first-week sales were officially confirmed, they weren’t that groundbreaking, to say the least. Beyonce’s Lemonade only managed to sell 653,000 copies in its first week — 485,000 when you exclude the Tidal streaming numbers, which is puzzling considering all the work Beyoncé put into the project in order to see it follow in the footsteps of her previous self-titled record.

No Longer Queen?

Posted on May 2, 2016 @ 11:32AM - Beyoncé SHOCKS With Low Album Sales For ‘Lemonade,’ Cancels Upcoming Concert. The singer's world tour ticket sales have reportedly dropped too. Is Queen Bey losing her spot on the throne? After launching her Formation World Tour last week in Miami, the 34-year-old swiftly canceled an upcoming concert in Nashville. The star’s team failed to answer why she chose to pull the plug on such short notice, but speculation has mounted that the decision came after the Nashville show, unlike other cities, wasn’t sold out...

Beyonce Plays to Half-Empty Stadium in Atlanta; Cancels Nashville Concert Due to Slow Ticket Sales

Monday, May 2, 2016 - Reports coming out of Atlanta claim pop star Beyonce performed to a half empty stadium of less than enthusiastic fans on Sunday. The much-hyped Formation World Tour rolled into Altanta’s Georgia Dome which seats 50,000 people. It took 6 days to set up Bey’s elaborate stages which include a massive lighting and sound system, moving stages and a plexiglass walkway.

Maybe the rain and bumper-to-bumper traffic are to blame for the half empty stadium in Atlanta? The “Hold Up” singer cancelled her May 5 Nashville concert last week after reports suggest she failed to sell out the Nissan Stadium. Her camp blamed “construction” at the Nissan Stadium. But stadium officials tweeted Saturday that they were “ready and able to host the May 5 Beyoncé show”...

Church Of Bey Worshipper Commits Suicide In Sacrifice To Beyonce

A 23-year-old American woman committed suicide in sacrifice to the singer Beyonce who she considered “lord and saviour”, Pulse reports. US music star Beyonce Knowles is not only the singer admired by millions of people from all over the world, but also an object of worship by a group of people, the followers of National Church of Bey.

The newly-made religion is called Beyism. The church counts hundreds of members, who call themselves Divine Divas and consider Bey’s music sacred. The deceased, Taniya Hattersfield, was reportedly a new member of the church. According to the local media, her dead body was found in the basement of her family home, College Park, Georgia, surrounded by a self-made shrine dedicated to the star.

Taniya’s suicide note read that she made herself a sacrifice to her Beyonce, ‘lord and saviour’. Incident caused rage among people, who urged the singer to speak against Beyism. However, no reaction is said to have followed. Meanwhile the church founder claims the number of its followers increases.

Tidal Is Killing Off Record Sales And Major Label Executives Are Angry About It

Jay-Z

The Judiciary Report has it on good authority that music industry executives are not happy with Jay Z and Madonna's weird music streaming service Tidal. The company was formerly named Aspiro and purchased by a handful of entertainers, led by Jay Z and Madonna. Tidal did a very poor roll out of Rihanna's flopped album "Anti" last month. Universal Music, the parent company of Jay Z's Roc Nation, which Rihanna is signed to, slammed Tidal for it, publicly labeling them "incompetent." Rihanna's album sold 460 copies in the first week, which is a dismal failure for a major label artist.

Fraud transpired in the second week and "Anti" allegedly sold 124,000 copies, which is still half the numbers her albums usually debut with on the charts. However, the numbers still don't sound right. To sell 460 copies in two days, then all of a sudden 124,000 in the five day proceeding it, indicates outright fraud and a buying team or hacking. That is the strangest sales pattern ever seen in music. No album has done that in music history, indicating the numbers are completely fake. The album is dead on arrival anyway, due to it being a poor recording with no hits or meaning.

Kanye West

They've lost approximately $30,00,000 in sales due to Jay Z's nonsensical foolishness. Samsung bought 1,000,000 copies of "Anti" for $1 each, but that works out to nothing in the face of the exorbitant costs of recording the long delayed album and the cut agents, managers, producers and music publishers receive. The deal with Samsung being worth $25,000,000 is  a lie. They have been promised far less money and those funds are to book arenas and hire staff for a tour.

Last week, the roll out of Kanye West's album "The Life Of Pablo" was botched, ending up as another so-called leak under the misdirection of the rapper's mentor, Jay Z. The leak was done it such a way that it was easily ripped and uploaded to illegal music download sites such as Pirate Bay (why is Pirate Bay still operating - they are flagrantly breaking international law).

As a result, the album "The Life Of Pablo" has been illegally downloaded 500,000 times, costing West and company an estimated $10,000,000. After the rigged leak by Jay Z, West announced that the album "The Life Of Pablo" will no longer be for sale and only available on Tidal. It is another desperate attempt by Jay Z and Madonna to keep floundering Tidal going at artists' expense. Furthermore, Apple Music streaming is a far superior product that is trouncing Tidal in the sales department.

Copyright stealing Rihanna sporting a new haircut and weave this past week. How Ironic is it that I gave my mother that same haircut A MONTH prior. A woman twice your age wore it better than you (LOL). But yea, Rihanna, you're so cutting edge and such a trendsetter (sarcasm). Seriously though, that haircut looks better on someone with a human sized forehead, rather than an alien one like Rihanna (LOL).

Tidal is a failure and one the music industry is tired of in many ways. People are signing up for free trials (having to provide their credit card/bank card number) and then canceling as soon as the time expires, as it is a very poor service. Many have complained their credit cards/bank cards were charged anyway after closing their Tidal account, prompting financial disputes (Tidal Ripped Off Consumers Fraudulently Charging The Credit Cards Of Former Customers Who Closed Their Music Streaming Accounts).

The music industry brass dislike free albums and leaks. It drives down overall album sales and averages. Many music industry executives are angry at Tidal and want the company to go. It is not empowering artists. It is being run by crazy cultists with no understanding of business and are devoid of a balanced perspective. For the industry to survive there needs to be solid sales, not botched releases and weird album roll outs that confuse the public.

Kanye’s botched album release costs him $10M

February 17, 2016 | 12:10am - Kanye West’s troubled release of his latest album, “The Life of Pablo,” has already cost the hip-hop star at least $10 million in sales, a review of estimated pirated downloads on Tuesday revealed. TorrentFreak, which tracks music piracy and file-sharing, reported that West’s album was illegally downloaded more than 500,000 times in the first 24 hours of its Feb. 14 release. That made it the most ripped-off album by far on The Pirate Bay and other file-sharing sites...

West also planned to offer album downloads for $20 on his kanyewest.com site. If each of the 500,000 persons illegally downloading the album would have bought it for the $20 selling price, Kanye would have pocketed $10 million in revenue.

Rihanna's New Album 'Anti' Officially Flops Selling Only 460 Copies

Samsung Buys 1,000,000 Copies Of Rihanna’s Flopped Album ‘Anti’ But Billboard Won’t Count It Nor Will It Make Her Money

Rihanna's Tour In Support Of 'Anti' Album Flopping With Poor Sales Prompting Free Ticket Giveway

Photo caption courtesy of Oh No You Didn't website

Reports indicate tickets sales for Rihanna's upcoming tour in support of her flopped, heavily slammed album "Anti" are flopping as well. The album "Anti" is currently mired in controversy over electronics company Samsung buying 1,000,000 copies for a dollar each and the RIAA certifying the album platinum, which the public is calling fake and cheating.

Billboard slammed Rihanna's Samsung stunt and refused to count the copies towards album sales

Now comes word that Rihanna's planned tour that Samsung paid to have booked in arenas around the world, underwriting the costs in anticipation of good publicity and getting their investment back, is flopping in a big way, prompting Jay Z's Roc Nation to give away free tickets. Samsung is already angry over the negative publicity they are getting on social networking for buying 1,000,000 copies of "Anti." With tour ticket sales in the toilet, they are not going to see return on their investment and are already saddled with bad publicity.

Many people on social networking are mocking Rihanna and Samsung over the sales stunt

Major label artists with Rihanna's type ego, do not like performing to half empty arenas. They are very proud and can't handle it. This is what Rihanna is facing. To save face, Jay Z's company will be giving away loads of tickets in online contests and to radio stations to fill the empty seats.

Rihanna So Afraid Of A Fourth Flop Gives Away Subpar 'Anti' Album For Free In Leak By Jay Z's Failed Tidal Music Streaming

Rihanna

After three flopped singles ("Four, Five Seconds" "Bi**h Better Have My Money" and "American Oxygen") music model, Rihanna, gave away frequently delayed album "Anti" for free via her mentor Jay Z's flopped music streaming site Tidal, realizing she was headed for a massive chart and sales flop. The public has gone off Rihanna, who has made a fraudulent living off of copyright infringement and criminal copyright infringement. The infringing song "Bi**h Better Have My Money" exposed to the public once and for all that all the copyright infringement cases against her are for a reason.

Rihanna has been passed around Hollywood more than the marijuana joints laced with cocaine that she so frequently smokes. The album "Anti" is a hodge podge mess of producers she was having sex with behind the scenes for songs she thought would be hits, but it has been one flop after another. Millions of dollars have been spent by the record label on producers, songwriters, studio time, engineers, music video directors and music videos, only for them to make the decision to give it away for free, as the infringing album would likely flop and cement her fallen star status to the world.

Rihanna and Chris Brown in 2009

It says something that even after the Chris Brown domestic violence case, where her ex-boyfriend was arrested and hit with 5-years probation, after she began screaming at and hitting him over another woman causing him to snap and beat her (neither of them should have been hitting each other and this site does not agree with domestic violence) Brown has gone on to outsell and outshine her in the music industry, despite the massive restrictions that have been placed on his career.

Rihanna is nasty to her fans on social networking and in public, having hit a few of them in acts of violence. Rihanna has been very rude and unprofessional to the people at her label, clearly not realizing the industry works in cycles, meaning here today, gone tomorrow. Rihanna has damaged the marriages and relationships of a number of music and movie executives, as well as entertainers and athletes, via her  prostitute like promiscuity for career favors. Yet due to all the label sponsored hype, somehow believes she is Whitney Houston, when she can't even sing. Rihanna has ripped off and stepped on so many people for her career that has now faded. Her entire career is a fraud. Humility, honesty and decency are beautiful traits. She would do well to learn them.

Chris Brown Has Upset Some Fans With An Album Named After His Toddler Daughter Royalty As It Contains Sexually Explicit Lyrics, Drug References And A Diss Track About Ex-Girlfriend Karrueche Tran

Chris Brown's "Royalty" album named after his daughter contains "parental advisory" sticker

R&B singer Chris Brown recently released a new album entitled "Royalty" named after his beautiful 1-year-old daughter. However, some fans are upset, as the album contains sexually explicit lyrics and profanity, which they are not comfortable with, given the title. In short, fans expected a more wholesome album due to it being named after Brown's daughter. The album features such song titles as "Liquor" and "Make Love." 14 of the 18 songs on the deluxe edition of the album have been labeled explicit by iTunes and other music sites. Some of the album's explicit lyrics include the lines:
"Just let me rock, f**k you back to sleep girl" - "Back To Sleep"

"Sex and Hennessey, get you w*t just a little bit" and "Oh baby, scream my name, put that p***y in my face" - "Little Bit"

"Rolled my weed up for the night/I'm tryna smoke" - "Picture Me Rollin"

"Talking all that s**t, don't mean /f**k around and go missing" - "Kae"

Speaking of that, the song "Kae" is a diss track about ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran ("Kae" is her nickname). Some of Brown's fans are not happy about this either. In the song's lyrics Brown blames Tran for not changing her ways (does not specify what) and lying to him. However, this is confusing his audience, as he is the one who secretly and accidentally fathered a child, Royalty, with another woman, Nia Guzman, while high and on liquor, in a cheating scandal that occurred during his 4-year relationship with Tran, who dumped him for it in 2015.

"Royalty" debuted at number 3 on the Billboard Charts, with 162,000 copies sold in the first week. These were decent numbers for a major label artist in this day and age, where music by American stars is not selling well. The top sellers this year are Adele, who is British and Canadian pop star Justin Bieber. However, the sales were lower than the numbers Brown expected, leading him to chastise his supporters, calling some "fake fans."

Brown wants to be a legend like the late Michael Jackson. However, Jackson rarely used profanity and sexually explicit lyrics in his music. None of his biggest hits contain explicit lyrics. Songs with explicit lyrics do not become big classics. Music laced with profanity and sexually charged lyrics do not become legendary tunes. Music history has consistently shown they are considered dated, not timeless.

Chris Brown Slams Fans As 'Fake' For Not Buying His New CD 'Royalty' But Music Industry Sales Are Dead

Chris Brown and daughter Royalty

R&B singer, Chris Brown, slammed his fans after initial sales figures reveal his new album "Royalty" is on course to sell approximately 160,000 copies in its first week of release. These sales are better than many artists' numbers on the charts, but still moderate. Brown took to Twitter to complain, "Everyone who follows me and has fake pages being fake supporters is a lil bogus. BUYMYSH*T." However, Brown should be thankful, as there are far worse sales than his on the charts. Other major label artists are selling 20,000 to 50,000 copies in their debut week, which doesn't even begin to cover costs of their projects.

Sales data released by Soundscan, Billboard and Music Week, reveals the fact music by American stars is not selling well anymore. Jimmy Iovine, the former head of Interscope Records, recently lamented the death of the music industry in America stating, "Free is a real issue. This whole thing about freemium, maybe at one time we needed it. But now it's a shell game." Iovine further stated, "Music used to be No.1 or No. 2 in most people's hearts. But if you said to a teen today, 'Okay, you can only have two apps on your phone,' neither one of them would be music. And that makes me scared."

Iovine also referred to his company Interscope, which was recently sold to Apple, as "300 lunatics." Well, that's something we can both agree on - the music industry is full of lunatics in sick cults and they are the sole reason the music industry is dying in America. All they do is steal copyrights and royalties in horrible cases the nation and world witnessed. It shows the absolute greed and ugliness of Hollywood. Certain Hollywood morons like Madonna, repeatedly stealing copyrights and going around smirking and grinning (key-keying) about it like lunatics and laughing hyenas, in what is disgraceful behavior, brought on the terrible sales decline.

People aren't inclined to spend their hard earned money to buy products by thieves destroying the rights, careers and lives of others for undue financial gain. It's not a good look and the industry was crazy to think decent members of the public would approve of such savage conduct. The public deems the industry stole copyrighted music from others, thus getting it for free, therefore they, the public, should get it for free as well. What is on track to happen is merger after merger in the U.S. music industry in trying to stay afloat, until they can no longer do so. The U.S. music industry's glory days are over.

There is so much talent in America, capable of writing and producing great music. However, the music industry, that is essentially being controlled by a deranged cult, Kabbalah, with ties to the Italian-American mafia, did not have to resort to thievery and villainy. It was a terrible case of false economy that has come back to haunt the industry and will do so to greater degrees.

Wladimir Klitschko's Fight Against Tyson Fury Selling Well And Could Gross $50,000,000

Tyson Fury (left) and Wladimir Klitschko (right). That's a really mind game when the world champ brings all his belts and, well, you're wearing yours (just teasing LOL).

Recent press reports indicate the Wladimir Klitschko vs. Tyson Fury fight scheduled for October 24, 2015 in the Espirit Arena in Düsseldorf has the potentially of grossing $50,000,000 in revenues. This would make it the second most profitable fight of the year, behind Floyd Mayweather v. Manny Pacquiao. Tickets are selling briskly, as 40,000 of the 55,000 available seats have already been sold.

World heavyweight champion, Klitschko, takes on British champ, Tyson Fury. It's amazing, just a year ago, Fury's career was in serious doubt, as almost 2-years had gone by without him successfully securing a major fight. Some thought it was over for him, then he fought, Dereck Chisora and won. This perfectly positioned Fury for the opportunity to fight the top heavyweight in the world, Klitschko. Who says dreams don't come true...

Music Streaming Revenue Killers Companies Such As Apple Music Need To Be Mindful Of Regarding Sales

Drake at the launch of Apple Music streaming

The launch of Apple Music streaming service has given the music industry in America hope for new sales at a time revenues have hit record lows in the United States. Apple Music is an exciting new venture and one worth checking out. However, the Judiciary Report would be remiss if it did not state, until You tube is reined in, sales of music streaming will not be what it could be.

Drake

Without going into too many specifics, thousands of popular songs have been unlawfully uploaded to You Tube. There exists software that facilitates easy ripping and conversion of said songs, negating the need to buy music. Millions in sales are being lost in this manner. Music is also being streamed for free on You Tube.

Report: Promotion To The Premier League Can Mean An Additional $200,000,000 In Revenue

A recent report indicated a promotion in the Premier League can mean an additional $200,000,000 in revenue to football teams. Watford FC and Norwich FC were recently promoted to the Premier League, in a series of wins that their clubs are counting on to produce increased revenues and raised profiles.

Not only is football the most popular sport in the world, known as “The Beautiful Game” it is also the most lucrative. English teams such as Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City as well as global squads such as Real Madrid and Barcelona FC, are worth billions of dollars and responsible for tens of thousands of jobs.

STORY SOURCE

How much is Premier League promotion worth?

Last Updated: 25/05/15 8:33pm - Norwich's play-off final win has earned them at least £80m - and that could more than double if they stay up in the Premier League next season. Even if Norwich were relegated in 2015/16 they would still receive prize money and TV revenue, plus £24m, £19.2m, and £9.6m in the following three campaigns in parachute payments.

With a new broadcast deal coming into place in 2016/17, if Norwich can stay up they could earn at least £180m. Because Norwich are entitled to parachute payments from their relegation from the Premier League in 2013/14, their totals are actually lower than what Middlesbrough would have stood to earn. Promotion for Boro would have been worth £130m and £230m if they'd stayed up next season.

Championship winners Bournemouth and runners-up Watford can also expect a revenue increase of at least £130m. This is a combination of the extra income they will earn from playing in the Premier League in 2015/16 and parachute payments should they be relegated after one season...

Jay Z And Madonna's Failing Tidal Music Service Is Hemorrhaging Money While Inadvertently Increasing Rival Spotify's Revenues

Usher, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Madonna, DeadAmu5, Kanye West, Jay Z and J Cole (also known as Hollywood's self-professed "Illuminati")

Many have labeled the new fee based music streaming service Tidal a rip off of Spotify. So imagine the irony that Spotify's sales have increased as Tidal launched and promptly crashed and burned. Tidal sent Spotify up the Apple app charts. Jay Z, Beyonce, Madonna, Rihanna and other recording artists in the so-called, self-labeled Hollywood "Illuminati" thought Tidal would make them billionaires. In actuality, they are in the hole as the service tanks.

The aforementioned artists bought Tidal for $54,000,000 and roped in investors, who are watching as their money goes up in smoke. Service costs and staff salaries are in the millions. The CEO has already been fired after the barely launched venture descended into a financial fiasco.

Tidal crashes out of top 700 apps in US download chart, boosts Spotify sales

Wednesday 22 April 2015 - Tidal does not seem to have instigated the music streaming revolution it’s A-lister panel had hoped, with early numbers for Jay Z's app suggesting it's flopping or flopped. The service was designed to give musicians a fairer deal and bigger share of streaming profits, but put across a bit of a mixed message at its launch by placing the world's biggest artists at its fore, implying that users should be worrying over whether Madonna or Nicki Minaj's pockets are sufficiently lined.

Tidal climbed into the US iPhone top 20 download chart briefly following the event, but has since crashed out of the top 700. It doesn't seem to have taken down its rivals with it either. On 20 April, Pandora and Spotify occupied the number three and four positions - marking the first time two music streaming apps have placed in the top 4 simultaneously and knocking down the world-conquering Candy Crush in the process...

A tour stop that was scheduled for Minneapolis has been cancelled due to poor sales, which is a matter of concern to the promoter. Other scheduled dates are suffering from less than stellar sales.

Trey Songz

Brown and Songz have current hits in release. However, could low ticket sales be due to the controversies surrounding Brown, who was in jail last year and been cited for probation violations and Trey Songz being named as the reason Money Team member, Earl Hayes, shot his wife, "Hit The Floor" star, Stephanie Moseley, then turned the gun on himself, due to their affair.

Chris Brown Cancels Minneapolis Date for 'Unspecified' Reasons

By Andrew Flanagan | February 10, 2015 1:03 PM EST - Chris Brown recently canceled his headlining show at Minneapolis' Target Center arena due to unspecified "scheduling conflicts," according to the Star Tribune. The real reason, however, may have been poor ticket sales. The show, with an attendance cap of around 20,000, had only moved about 3,500 tickets, according to Billboard's sources. This appeared to be the case with most dates on the tour. The show had originally been rescheduled before being canceled after Brown violated his probation.

Album Sales Have Greatly Fallen In America In A Pattern Worrying Record Labels

A look at the top 10 albums in America reveals sales are down. Way down. The past year has been a rough one for record labels in America, as albums are not selling well in the states. The top 10 for the past month (even year) show albums barely reaching gold during their shelf life, as the current projects by each artist are selling on average 200,000-300,000 copies.

Considering how expensive albums are to record, with some producers charging between $50,000 to $250,000 per song (or beat) in addition to music videos, buying airplay, marketing and advertising costs reaching into the millions, labels are hemorrhaging money on projects with low financial yield.

Singles are selling okay, but when you think about the fact artists get a few cents for each one sold, then 20-30 cents per unit goes to retailers and the rest the label and associates, that’s not much money. A time is coming when there will be mergers of well known labels to try to stay in business in the face of what has happened.

Chris Brown's First Week Sales For 'X' Projected To Be 120,000 Copies Sold As Numbers Are Less Than Expected

Chris Brown

Chris Brown's "X" studio CD released this week is projected to sell 120,000 copies in its first week of release. The CD is battling Barbara Streisand's latest effort. On its current sales course, "X" will be a modest success, taking more time than industry experts expected to go gold.

The single "Loyal" created a lot of attention for the CD that suffered from delays and several release dates that originally did not pan out, due to Brown's legal troubles and his former manager withholding the hard drive containing all the singer's music, after she was fired.

"Loyal" became a big hit and went platinum, selling over 1,000,000 copies, which in this day and age is a lot for a single. However, Sony waited too long to release the CD "X" after "Loyal" became a hit and sales are lower than what was expected. Another problem that may have contributed to lower sales is Brown mass unfollowing all his fans on Twitter and Instagram. Some vowed to not buy "X" upon its release.

Go Daddy’s Preparing For IPO As Their Customers Are Being Gouged

Go Daddy

Go Daddy became a name in domain registration and hosting, as they started off as a small company, offering the lowest prices. As a result, they gained many customers and the company gained billions in revenues.

However, Hollywood stepped into the picture, nagging and harassing Go Daddy to support such items as SOPA and do their bidding in removing sites from the internet (canceling hosting) the entertainment industry took issue with (some for copyright infringement, other over free speech in conduct that is unconstitutional and fraudulent). As a result ,Go Daddy lost 40,000,000 in one month. Since joining forces with Hollywood, GO Daddy has been steadily loosing hundreds of millions of dollars per year, as attested by published company financial data revealing the significant losses.

The ironic thing is Go Daddy is worth more than each studios in Hollywood, yet they‘ve allowed them to lead them down a bad business path. Hollywood and the music industry have been experiencing record revenue declines, several on the brink of financial collapse, yet this is who Go Daddy is listening to in the business world, to take them down with them.

Now in preparation for its IPO, Go Daddy has been gouging customers. People chose their service for the low prices. However, Go Daddy has raised the prices of domains. They’ve also cancel renewal coupons customers rely on to gain discounts on their domains. As it stands, Go Daddy is no longer the lowest price domain and hosting company. They’ve raised prices on products between 15-70%. That’s no way to do business. That’s how you lose customers.

Go Daddy has a lot of disgruntled customers due to these price hikes, who are online vowing on various sites, to take their business elsewhere. Go Daddy needs to get it together before they make this IPO, lest it turn into a disaster over customers who are headed for the door.

Floyd Mayweather’s Latest Pay Per View Numbers Indicate He Needs To Choose His Next Opponent Very Carefully

Marcos Maidana v. Floyd Mayweather on May 3, 2014

Top grossing boxer Floyd Mayweather is facing a conundrum. His latest numbers from his May 3, 2014 fight against challenger Marcos Maidana, is said to have done 800,000 to 900,000 in pay per view sales. This is less than half the figures from his previous fight against Canelo Alvarez, which received over 2,000,000 pay per view buys in America alone, with additional purchases in Mexico. Despite the lower pay per view numbers, Mayweather still made $70,000,000 from the fight.

Floyd Mayweather

A few things contributed to lower sales. Many Americans did not know who Maidana is and skipped paying the hefty $70 pay per view fee for a fight with a largely unknown challenger. Roughly an hour after the fight, people had already ripped and uploaded it to YouTube, using Twitter to alert people to the external free link for the bout. Within 24 hours, one free YouTube page alone had 25,000 views of the fight. Digital rights management did not do a sufficient job in quickly removing links and fans knew to expect it.

Manny Pacquiao

Another factor is people wanting and waiting for him to fight fan favorite, Manny Pacquiao, in a bout that has been repeatedly delayed. Pacquiao is ready to fight Mayweather. It is now up to Mayweather to make the fight happen. The fight has the potential to break pay per view records and go down in history as one of if not the top fight to date.

Chris Brown Lampooned On The Boondocks As His Song ‘Loyal’ Goes Gold

Warning: Contains inappropriate language and themes

The cartoon “The Boondocks” returned for its fourth season this month and lampooned singer Chris Brown and his legal troubles. The episode was made before Brown was detained, as he currently sits in jail on a probation violation. The show implied Brown keeps getting into trouble with the law to keep his name in the press and his career going. However, the Judiciary Report doesn’t believe for one second Brown wants to be in jail.

The show features parodies of Chris Brown and his lawyer Mark Geragos

The episode has a scene regarding a character suspiciously similar to Brown in name and looks, apologizing for fighting Nicki Minaj in the VIP, claiming he thought she was a robot sent from the future to kill him, like in the movie terminator. However, Brown received some good news last week. This past weekend Chris Brown’s latest single “Loyal” hit 500,000 in sales reaching gold status in America. The video has also been viewed on You Tube 45,000,000 times.

Is A Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao Fight On The Horizon

Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao

A dream boxing match would have been heavyweights Muhammad Ali vs. Mike Tyson in their prime, but due to being generations apart, that wasn't going to happen. However, another great fight that could go from fantasy to reality is Floyd Mayweather vs. Manny Pacquiao.

A fight between Mayweather, 36 and Pacquiao, 34, would be a boxing fan's dream. The fight would be sold out with record cable viewing numbers and sales. The two men have "rope-a-dope" around the idea for for quite a while, but if they want it to happen, they should make preparations to do so soon, as time is going by. Regardless of the outcome the fight would be historic and remembered for generations.

Did Beliebers Cause Selena Gomez’s Movie 'Spring Breakers' To Have Low Ticket Sales

Spring Breakers (Selena Gomez pictured left)

This is a follow up to the March 19, 2013 article Selena Gomez Said She Made Justin Bieber Cry Angering His Fans Which Wasn't A Good Idea Because.... In the aforementioned article one week ago, the Judiciary Report commented it was not a good idea for actress, Selena Gomez, to slam ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber on the David Letterman Show, as she had a film due out that she was actively promoting, the tawdry ‘Spring Breakers.’

I didn't know K-Fed was in this movie. Oh wait, that's James Franco

Well, one week later the box office numbers are in for the film in wide release and the movie is not doing well, coming in at number six. Offending and alienating Bieber’s fans known as "Beliebers" contributed to this flop, regarding a film whose pre-release items revealed it could not afford to offend large groups of people, who are potential ticket buyers.

Thanks to Selena Gomez's comment Justin Bieber is looking like a "swaggy" angel

The minute Gomez slammed Bieber on Letterman, stating she had made him cry, "Beliebers" made it known on Twitter they’d no longer support her. As I stated last week, it wasn’t a good move. In slamming him as she did, with no real explanation, only stating she made him cry, resulted in him looking like the victim and she the villain. Either tell the whole story or none of it at all.

Is it worth lower sales for a film that is supposed to mark her transition into adulthood (no, but the film is too much anyway). Gomez also basically involved "Beliebers" in the problems she and Bieber experienced, resulting in them choosing sides. Guess whose side they chose. That’s right - his.
