Some women are just greedy. Pop singer Mariah Carey is one of them. At age 18 Carey prostituted herself into a record deal at Columbia Records in 1990, then married its mafia connected CEO, Tommy Mottola, for money and career advancement. Now she is at it again. With her career on the skids and money going down due to significantly less income coming in from her music, Carey is behaving like a greedy gold digger with ex-fiancé, James Packer.

Packer, an Australian billionaire, ran for the hills when he realized Carey is constantly sipping crazy juice and spends money like an heiress, though she's not one. TMZ is reporting that Carey is demanding her ex-fiancé Packer, who just dumped her, pay her $50,000,000 for inconveniencing her with an engagement he has now cancelled (like Carey's recording contract). Carey is also griping about financial promises Packer allegedly made her. Based on TMZ's claims, Carey is blackmailing Packer, claiming he promised to pay her for her silence based on having done, "Something awful to her assistant." 

Another complaint is she uprooted her life in New York to move to his native Australia and Los Angeles, costing her income. However, she was living in Los Angeles with her ex-husband, Nick Cannon and Carey's career, much like her voice, has fallen flat. Carey is not making big money anymore. Her last two albums flopped and she has not had a hit in years. She is currently not apart of the music landscape.

Carey receives music publishing checks that breakdown to a few thousand dollars per month, her Las Vegas residence is on ice because of her vocal problems, which means she has not received full payment and her South American tour was cancelled due to her singing issues and decline in popularity that spells poor ticket sales for any artist, making it unprofitable for the promoter.

Packer, called off the engagement after witnessing unsupportive, disturbing behavior from Carey. Packer just realized Carey has serious mental issues that were created due to her time with Mottola. At one point, Carey was under psychiatric care in upstate New York. Carey's second husband, Nick Cannon, also complained of her mental problems before leaving her. 

Carey is also a massive spendthrift, which would spell bad news for Packer’s $4 billion dollar fortune. Packer is also concerned about his property holdings and media empire that could face turbulence in the event Carey started being disruptive in not getting her way. For years I have heard terrible stories about Carey’s behavior in the entertainment industry that made people’s lives and jobs very difficult. She is not easy to work with, is very selfish, has cost people and companies millions of dollars and there are many complaints of what her self-centeredness does to those around her on a personal level.

Carey is in the Kabbalah Center cult and she like other members Eva Longoria and Selma Hayek, among others, were told to marry very wealthy men in industry because the sect wants to, "Control the world's resources." Longoria married a very wealthy Mexican man, Jose Antonio Baston, who presides over the multi-billion dollar vast media empire Televisa. The company Televisa is the largest media company in Latin America. Hayek married Francois-Henri Pinault, who owns Kering, a company that controls many luxury goods brands and select sports holdings.

It should be noted, due to Packer's wealth and influence, the sick Hollywood cult Scientology had successfully pursued him for a time. Packer was a confirmed member of Scientology. However, when Packer realized how insane they are, he bailed on them a few years ago. Then, Kabbalah went after him through Carey and it too has turned into a disaster.

Therefore, she turned to a Las Vegas residency to bring in money, but has missed a few show dates and is struggling with average attendance and bad reviews.

Packer has a lot to lose if he marries Carey and the marriage implodes. Do I think the marriage would last? No. I get the distinct feeling trouble and disaster are coming. Carey is quite the character, who constantly makes outrageously excessive demands and unreasonable requests of people, she expects those around her to immediately fulfill or she acts like a spiteful child. An intelligent businessman is not going to put up with that for long. Carey is trying to hold the crazy in until they get married. Then the real Mariah will come out. Just ask Nick Cannon, who headed for the hills citing her crazy behavior.

Packer was a Scientologist, having become involved with the sect at the insistence of Tom Cruise. Packer was the richest Scientologist in the world. Packer reportedly left the Hollywood cult in 2008. Now he's engaged to Carey, who is in the worst Hollywood cult, Kabbalah. Morgan Carey, 51, the brother of singer, Mariah Carey, 45, has slammed her as an "evil witch" for refusing to help her HIV positive sister, Alison Carey, 54, who is dying. Alison, a prostitute, contracted HIV years ago. Alison's health condition has worsened, necessitating brain and spine surgery. Mariah is refusing to financially help Alison with the cost of surgery nor will she speak to her. Morgan stated, "Your sister is dying and she's struggling and where are you? You think you are so fabulous, but you are a witch."

Alison's prostitution fed and clothed the family, including Mariah before she became famous. It also paid for studio time during the early part of Mariah's career, aiding in the singer making a demo tape she later gave to married music mogul, Tommy Mottola. Mariah broke up Mottola's marriage of 20-years, via an adulterous relationship. Mariah then wed Mottola, 20-years her senior, in a marriage that did not last long.

Mariah is being a real sanctimonious hypocrite with her sister, when what she did with Mottola is basically the same thing - whoring out one's self to a man one does not love for financial advancement (Mottola gave Carey a record deal and sizable advance due to their affair). Mariah needs to get off her high horse and help her sister. Scorning people with HIV is not cute. It is downright ugly.

Jay Z And Madonna's Floundering Tidal Sued For $5,000,000 Over Copyright Infringement In Not Paying Artists While Inflating Their Own Sales To Go Number One On Billboard

A year ago, greedy entertainers Jay Z and Madonna, among others, bought the Aspiro music streaming company for $55,000,000 and tried to rip off Spotify's business model and software. They promised to pay recording artists more money than every other music streaming service if they signed up with the company. However, they lied. The company immediately began to struggle and was dead on arrival. A few months after Tidal's abysmal launch, Apple's long awaited music service debuted and finished off Tidal. 

A year later, mainstream publications, as well as popular blogs, have branded Tidal a massive failure. Tidal is being financed via loan and personal funds to the tune of $55,000,000 which is a heavy debt load (in addition to operating costs). Tidal is not making anywhere near enough money to sustain itself or cover costs, hence their desperation manifesting via deliberate leaks, botching the releases of major record labels, to place said titles on their failing music streaming service. They are operating under the proviso that once an album is leaked, the record company will be forced to try to recoup costs via streaming on Tidal.

This week, news broke that Tidal has been sued for copyright infringement regarding not paying artists. Yesh Music LLC artists, the American Dollar, sued Tidal for streaming 116 of its songs, reportedly 13,000 times and not paying them the proper royalties they are owed under standard industry agreements, which constitutes copyright infringement (The Judiciary Report did warn Tidal would rip artists off). 

As usual, rather than own up to their illegal conduct, crazy liars Jay Z and Madonna are shifting all blame to someone else. The dumb duo are blaming the historic Harry Fox Agency in Hollywood for the gross underpayment (However, the band stated Tidal refused to pay them for many months, then lied about their numbers). Much like Tidal shifted all blame for the botched release of Rihana's "Anti" album, forcing record label Universal to brand them "incompetent" and further state, "This whole thing is absurd, we would have taken responsibility if it were our error." Jay Z and Madonna are too old to be this juvenile. It is a sign of mental problems.

Lawyers for the band, the American Dollar, are stating Tidal is reporting fake numbers to them, in a scam that results in artists being paid less money. I can confirm Tidal is doing this, via keeping two sets of numbers/accounting records, regarding how many times each song is streamed on their service. 

For instance, if Tidal streams an artist's song 500,000 times, the accounting/royalty statement to the artist will state they streamed it 50,000 times, allowing the greedy company to skim profits off the top. They play the song a maximum amount of times and due to fraudulent reporting, only pay a fraction of what is owed to the artist, because they are lying about how many times they actually streamed each tune. It is enabling Tidal to pay less money to the artists, via misrepresenting the number of streams.

This constitutes several federal crimes. Tidal would have to be audited by a computer specialist and accountant to gain the true figures. Only Tidal's owners have access to the real numbers for their own music and that of the artists who have signed up with the service. Everyone else is being lied to by the company, except its entertainer owners such as Rihanna, among others, whose streams are being grossly inflated to illegally place higher on the Billboard charts. 

This has resulted in Rihanna deceitfully equaling Michael Jackson's record for the most number one singles in music history and it is criminally being done through fraud, robbing the late music legend of a musical honor that he legitimately earned. It's is disgusting and disgraceful. She can't even sing or dance properly for that matter.

This is not the first time Jay Z has been busted engaging in a sales scam. Years ago, the Billboard chart company, caught Jay Z red-handed bribing retailers to run the same copy of his CDs through the register multiple times to enable him to debut at the top of the charts. For example, when a customer bought one copy of a Jay Z CD, retailers were being paid to run the same copy through the register 3-7 times, which ridiculously inflated his sales. Billboard slammed him for it, as it corrupted chart results, giving him number ones he did not earn, while depriving other artists of their rightful place in music history.

I know the history of the music industry very well and what truly goes on. There were times in music history (up until Soundscan) where music retailers would phone in how many records, CDs and CD singles they sold. The numbers they reported would be completely inaccurate and inflated due to bribery, where some artists are concerned, to help them secure undeserved number ones on the music charts (see: Madonna).

Other scams include manipulating RIAA sales. Some people get excited when they hear their favorite artist's album has gone platinum. However, some record executive, such as Tommy Mottola, formerly of Sony, a man with ties to the Genovese mafia, routinely inflated sales of artists such as Mariah Carey, whom he later married after an adulterous affair for career promotion by the fame hungry star. 

During the 1990s, you could go in any record store in America and find an excessive amount of unsold Mariah Carey CDs on the shelves, more than any other artist. That's because all the RIAA required for a gold (500,000 copies) or platinum (1,000,000 copies) certification is that the label ship the corresponding amount to retailers. You don't actually have to sell that amount to get the certification.

While Mariah Carey was a very gifted vocalist (her voice is very damaged now) Mottola's scam resulted in her having greater sales than Whitney Houston, Barbara Streisand and Patti Page, when she did not sell more albums or singles than the latter. She sold more than Madonna, but not Houston, Streisand or Page. Then, Mottola ripped off Carey, pocketing huge amounts of her actual sales and related products. Mottola, who was in his 40s, saw in an 18-year-old Carey, a great voice, a desperation for fame and a sucker he could exploit (but then she embarrassed him to the world).

Jay Z, Madonna and Rihanna are using the computer staff at Tidal to inflate record sales. It is apart of the reason some of the original staff fled (Tidal Loses Three More Executives). The first notable incident occurred via Rihanna's "Anti" album, where Jay Z lied stating the album had been streamed 400,000 times on Tidal, the same night Samsung bought and gave away 1,000,000 copies of the flopped album for free to her fans. Those numbers don't add up nor did Nielsen or Billboard corroborate or authenticate said fake numbers from Tidal. 

A new controversy has erupted, as Tidal has falsely claimed Kanye West's album entitled "The Life Of Pablo" which they botched the release of, has been streamed 100,000,000 times in two weeks, which is an outright lie (it's not even West's most talked about or popular album). Adele and Justin Bieber weren't even streamed that much in two weeks and they are currently the top music sellers of 2015 and 2016 (so far).

Someone then pointed out to Tidal that Drake's album "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" which had way more buzz than Kanye's release, was streamed 17,000,000 times in two weeks on Spotify. Therefore, how did "The Life Of Pablo" which has no real buzz, stream 100,000,000 times in two weeks. They falsified the sales. When called out on the maneuver they were shoveling, trying to inflate sales as usual, Tidal backpedaled and stated "The Life Of Pablo" was streamed "millions of times" not "100,000,000 times."  

To make matters worse, Tidal did not report the streams to Billboard, as it is on the low end of the spectrum. This means for the first time in his 13-year rapping career, West has an album that did not chart on Billboard, which is a very negative development for a major label artist. "The Life Of Pablo" is classified as a flop. Tidal are a bunch of unprofessional, crazy jokers who aren't real business people. They are messing up artists careers. Billboard stated, "In respect to TIDAL and Kanye, for whatever reason they're not reporting that title [The Life of Pablo] to us...I don't know the reason behind it, I just know that they're not" - Silvio Pietroluongo, Billboard VP, Charts & Data Development.

"The Life Of Pablo" was deliberately leaked, so as to make it easier to be placed on Tidal, without the record company becoming enraged, believing it an actual leak. However, Def Jam has lost over $20,000,000 due to Jay Z's poor business acumen and dirty tricks in trying to keep a dead website alive (Tidal) via another leaked release ("The Life Of Pablo"). 

The irony for West is it took him 3-years to record the album, which is a significant period of time for making a studio recording. West also spent a significant sum of money to make the album, at many studios, using a number of guest stars. This all came from record company funds he has to recoup before he sees any money in profit. And as the album is being streamed on Tidal and at poor royalty rates, West will not recoup the costs of making the indulgent "The Life Of Pablo." His next album will have to sell double the usual amount to get him out of the red at the record label, whom he now owes a small fortune.

Jay Z and Madonna, among others at Tidal, are terrible con artists and thieves. They have nothing legitimate to contribute to the marketplace, always looking to get an illegal payday off someone else's hard work. They are always looking for someone to rob and rip off. There is something wrong in their brains. The mechanism that regulates people's conscience, sense of decency and ability to accept their fair share, not seeking to take everyone else's, is woefully absent in them. It is a mental defect found in psychopaths and greedy criminals with compulsions regarding money. 

Jay Z and Madonna have been repeatedly sued for years by many people for ripping off, robbing and shortchanging others. They are never satisfied and have absolutely no conscience or decency. If they were given 99 percent of the money in the world, they would still be furiously and feverishly searching the other 1 percent's pockets for money to take. They are not business people. They are criminals running scams and perpetrating acts of criminal fraud that is actively defrauding others.

Jay Z and Tidal Are Reportedly Facing a Lawsuit Over Failing To Pay Artist Royalties (UPDATE)

8 hours ago - UPDATE: Tidal just issued a statement to Complex about the lawsuit and said that they are up to date on all royalties owed to Yesh Music, LLC. TIDAL is up to date on all royalties for the rights to the music stated in Yesh Music, LLC and John Emanuele’s claim and they are misinformed as to who, if anyone, owes royalty payments to them. As Yesh Music, LLC admits in their claim, TIDAL has the rights to the Master Recordings through its distributor Tunecore and have paid Tunecore in full for such exploitations. Their dispute appears to be over the mechanical licenses, which we are also up to date on payments via Harry Fox Agency our administrator of mechanical royalties. 

The entire catalogue in question streamed fewer than 13,000 times on TIDAL and its predecessor over the past year. We have now removed all music associated with Yesh Music, LLC and John Emanuele from the service. This is the first we have heard of this dispute and Yesh Music, LLC should be engaging Harry Fox Agency if they believe they are owed the royalties claimed. They especially should not be naming S Carter Enterprises, LLC, which has nothing to do with Tidal. This claim serves as nothing other than a perfect example of why America needs Tort reform. 

When Jay Z launched Tidal last year, he did so on the idea that the streaming service would be the first of its kind to take care of artists with higher royalty payouts. After the official launch event, Jay even tweeted that Tidal was going to pay every artist, writer, and producer featured on the service a 75 percent royalty rate, which was higher than any other streaming service in the industry, at least according to Hov. Now, it appears that Hov and Tidal are in some serious hot water over their royalty system, as they're reportedly facing a $5 million class-action lawsuit from Yesh Music, LLC and John Emanuele​ from the band, the American Dollar. 

The lawsuit, which was uploaded online to the site Scribd here, claims that Tidal streamed 116 of the band's copyrighted songs without paying back any royalty payments in the process. The firm Garbarini Fitzgerald P.C. reportedly filed the lawsuit in the United States District Court Southern District of New York over the weekend, according to the uploaded documents. As of now, neither Jay, Tidal, or Tidal's parent company, Aspiro, which is also named in the suit, have responded to the case. 

We spoke with the lawyer in the case, Richard Garbarini, on the phone, and he confirmed that the suit was filed over the weekend. Over the phone, Garbarini said that the band received no royalties for their work until this past Nov., and that the group asked months ago to have their music removed from Tidal. As of today, the band's music is currently still available to stream on Tidal. "I find it fairly amazing an organization that claims it was going to pay the artists, systematically does not pay the artists," Garbarini said. 

Tidal reportedly used faulty numbers to make payments to artists and may have undercut the money they owed to artists by as much as 35 percent, according to the filed documents. The band claims that they were expecting monthly reports on royalty payments and usage of every song on the service, but nothing was ever sent, according to the lawsuit...

TIDAL Refuses to Reveal Stats for Kanye’s “The Life Of Pablo,” 100 Million Streams Likely Wrong

Posted 5 days ago - 2016-02-23 - Minutes ago I clicked on a story from Pigeons and Planes reporting that anonymous sources within TIDAL have revealed that Kanye's new album, The Life Of Pablo, has so far been streamed 100 million times exclusively on TIDAL in the two weeks since its (quasi)release; we can assume that means at least 50 million times in its first week. 100 million? 100 MILLI?!?!?!?...

For comparison, Drake's IYRTITL album held a previous streaming record by racking up approximately 17 million streams of If You're Reading This It's Too Late in its first week, and those official numbers came via Spotify, a service with approximately 25 million paid subscribers and an additional 40 million free users for 65 million total users. So that would mean that Kanye accumulated roughtly three times more streams than Drake in his first week on a streaming service 1/26th the size of Spotify. (TIDAL is currently reporting 2.5 million subscribers, about one million of those new subscribers driven there by Kanye's album.) If those kind of stats seem too good to be true, it's because they likely aren't true. 

Unfortunately, Pigeons & Planes seems to have simply made a mistake in their reporting. According to the original TMZ story they cited, the TIDAL source told TMZ that the album has been streamed "millions" of times, not "100 million times." "Millions" could indeed mean 100 million, or it could mean two million, which would be a mere 98 million off.

Regardless of who reported what number from where, the confusion around TLOP gets at a deeper story. As fate would have it, I didn't see P&P's story when it first went up because at the time I was on the phone with Billboard's VP of Charts & Data Development, Silvio Pietroluongo. Tidal nears one year of mediocrity and failure

In Music by Joel Freimark / February 25, 2016 - Just under a year ago, Tidal hosted one of the more awkward launch events ever known to man, as a handful of multi-millionaire musicians stood uncomfortably and lost on stage — all seeming to hope one another knew what was going on. In many ways, the event can be seen as the ideal precursor to the brilliant “how do I walk on stage” performance from presidential candidate Ben Carson just a few weeks ago, and the Tidal launch told us all we needed to know about the company. As they approach their first anniversary, things have only gotten worse, and someone should have the decency to put the clueless, unimaginative company out of its misery...

Then, of course, there was Tidal’s promise that they’d be using the platform to help unknown artists achieve stardom. Used by pretty much every music-related startup, this line is as old as “these photos are just so I can show big time producers what you look like,” and as of yet, not a single artist has been vaulted to any real status by the platform. This in itself isn’t entirely Tidal’s fault, as you need a large, active listener-base to achieve this, and they have neither.

Oh wait, that Kanye guy got a TON of hype when Tidal completely botched his album release — and nobody knew about him or Rihanna before they joined Tidal, right? The only thing Tidal achieved with their arrogant, unprofessional style of “exclusive” releases was incurring a massive amount of hate from the very people they’re trying to convince to pay them every month for a service that is done better elsewhere. 

But arrogance runs deep in the lifeblood of Tidal. Even before their launch event, they attempted to garner sympathy and subscribers in an absurd manner. Their pre-launch video was nothing short of unintentional comedic genius and led to countless, well deserved parodies. In short, Tidal was attempting to put forth the concept that they were “the little guy.”

Note to Jay Z, Madonna, Jack White, Kanye West and the long list of multi-platinum millionaires in the video: You can’t make people feel bad for NOT giving you $10 a month when you yourselves haven’t had to consider the value of $10 a month in well over 10 years...

Mariah Carey's ex-husband, Nick Cannon and separately her brother, Morgan Carey, are stating the singer is mentally ill. This is citing the obvious, after years of bizarre behavior from the singer. Actually, she started off her career sane in 1990. However, an opportunistic marriage to music industry svengali, Tommy Mottola, for money and fame, made Carey crazy.

Mottola used to spy on Carey in terrible ways and it brought out paranoid schizophrenia in her. Some people can stand up to mental abuse, recognize it for what it is and get it out of their lives. However, some people fall prey to it and sustain lasting mental damage.

Mottola had hidden cameras in the house he shared with Carey. He illegally wiretapped all the phone lines in the house, in addition to her mobile phone. Carey was routinely followed by his security, some of whom have ties to the mafia, as does he (which he bragged about in an interview). Mottola wanted to ascertain whether his significantly younger wife, half his age, was cheating on him.

After a few years of this invasiveness, then a vengeful campaign to destroy and separately copy her career when she left him (Jennifer Lopez Continues To Copy Mariah Carey), Carey snapped in 2001 and tried to kill herself. Her minders had to smuggle her out of the Mercer Hotel in New York, trying to avoid the press, after she tried to kill herself and began babbling strange things. Carey was admitted to a psych ward for months to receive treatment for mental illness. Mottola wanted to break Carey for leaving him and for a young, gorgeous baseball player, Derek Jeter...and he broke the law to do so via spying, among other things.

It’s no secret in the entertainment industry that singer Mariah Carey can’t stand actress Jennifer Lopez. Carey debuted in 1990 under the tutelage of CBS/Columbia Records music executive, Tommy Mottola, a married man the 18-year-old ingénue began having a sexual affair with, leading to his ugly, acrimonious divorce from the mother of his children.

Carey and Mottola wed in an over the top ceremony, but at the end of the day, she never loved him and had married the man, twice her age, for career advancement. Mottola engaged in payola, chart rigging and employed buying teams to put Carey’s career over the top, during their fierce, one-sided competition with the late legendary singer Whitney Houston.

Mottola’s marriage to Carey did not last long. She reportedly spent her honeymoon crying on a beach. The mafia connected music executive, so rigged her career, that when she left him, he walked away from the marriage with far more money than she did, after bilking Sony regarding her supposed sales.

Mottola was bitter and vengeful. Carey was gallivanting with baseball hottie, Derek Jeter, among others, which wounded Mottola’s pride and ego. In 1998, Mottola took his revenge in signing actress Jennifer Lopez to a record deal and using the blueprint he utilized on Carey (not to mention, he embarked on a fling with Lopez as well). However, they took it to new extremes, flat out mimicking Carey at every turn, which annoyed the singer no end.

From her debut, Lopez was styled to look like Carey. She was given a makeover, coloring her hair the same shade as Carey’s locks, with extensions put in to mimic the length. Mottola used many of the same songwriters and producers he hired for Carey’s projects, which created a rivalry as the two singers jostled for the best songs from creative talent. Mottola also had Lopez styled like Carey, as the two once again jostled for the best clothes from the same designers, which Carey having used them first.

Their concert tours began looking similar as well, employing very similar styles, stage sets, dancers and routines. Mottola was not as successful with Lopez as he was with Carey, for the simple fact the actress really is not a singer. Carey has (had) five octaves, while on a good day Lopez has 1 and ½. To this day Lopez continues to mimic Carey’s career. Carey signed up to be a talent judge on the show “American Idol” and then Lopez did the same. Carey signed up for a Las Vegas residency that is not going well and now Lopez has signed up for the same.

Singer Mariah Carey has been looking better these past two weeks. Photos released of her on vacation several weeks ago left fans insulting her with posts online calling her “haggard” “fat” and “old” in appearance. Now she looks better again, after previously letting herself go, due to marriage troubles. Yesterday, Carey met up with world champion boxer, Floyd Mayweather and members of his staff and took pictures with them. When Mariah took a picture with one of Mayweather’s assistants, Ms. Sunray, she stood next to her and politely smiled, casually standing beside her as many people do when taking various photos.

However, when it was time to take a picture with Mayweather, Mariah started leaning on Floyd, had her chi-chis all on the man’s back, while giving him and the camera a flirty look. Now she knows full well her soon-to-be ex-husband, cornball, Nick Cannon, who is asking for a reconciliation, would get beaten silly if he tried to fight Mayweather over her. However, after Cannon cheated on Carey during their marriage, maybe that’s what she wants (LOL).

Mayweather has several women, which is very risky and not an example to be emulated (it has brought serious trouble, heartbreak and loss to his life). Mayweather’s main girlfriend is a woman named Bad Medina (though ex-fiancée Shantel Jackson is having second thoughts). Considering Mariah’s track record of bedding men who were not single (Tommy Mottola, Eminem, Derek Jeter) Medina better be careful. That pose with Floyd was a look a woman gives when she is after a man. And don’t think for one second Floyd would say no. Floyd would be wise to stay away from married women and spare himself a world of pain.

According to online reports from sites such as TMZ, comedian, Nick Cannon, 33, left his wife of 6-years, singer Mariah Carey, 45 and their 3-year-old twin kids, allegedly claiming she is mentally ill. The question is, did he not know this before. Years ago Mariah Carey was involuntarily institutionalized in the psychiatric ward of a hospital, after making psychotic claims and trying to kill herself. She was heard making incoherent statements and unbalanced claims, leading authorities to believe she had become mentally ill. 

For years, Carey's behavior has been very schizophrenic and cause for concern among those in her circle and at record labels. Yet that didn't stop womanizer Cannon from marrying Carey and impregnating her. Now he wants to complain. Marriage is supposed to be for better or worse. Though the two were never a good match. Not because of the age difference, as very successful famous women such as Tina Turner and Joan Collins, among others, have been in loving, long-term relationships with men significantly younger than they are.

Cannon used Carey for career advancement, much like she used former Sony CEO, Tommy Mottola, who was 20-years her senior, in an adulterous affair, then loveless marriage to become rich and famous when she was a teen. Now that Cannon's gotten what he wanted and her career has hit the skids, she is no longer useful to him and he has bailed on Carey and their two kids. What goes around comes around (for Carey) but Cannon is wrong to have done this.

Cannon says Carey is mentally ill and his kids aren't safe, yet he's walked out on his family, partying his butt off, messing with other women and not making any legal effort to secure a safe environment for his offspring. I don't doubt Carey is mentally ill and capable of fully self-destructing and even irrationally trying to take others with her in a moment of despair, but what court recognized steps have been taken to protect the children.

Alison Carey Scott, the 51-year-old mother of four and sister of singer Mariah Carey, 43, has gone on record speaking of her poor relationship with her famous sibling. Scott stated she is an escort who was arrested for prostitution twice. She pimped herself to support her drug habit and to buy her now famous sister food and clothes to help her land a record deal (and she did via adultery and breaking up the marriage of former Sony Music CEO Tommy Mottola).

However, since copyright infringer Carey became famous, she has shunned her struggling sister, who with her HIV positive status, was reportedly running ads stating she is a 36-year-old escort whose rate is $250 per hour for house calls. Scott referred to her sister Mariah as a "vain and heartless multimillionaire." Carey is embarrassed by her sister selling her body, but how is it different from the singer selling hers to Tommy Mottola in exchange for a record deal in the late 1980s. She shouldn't be so high and mighty, especially when she is no angel in this regard.

Scott has stated she would like to meet her niece and nephew, the two children Carey had with comedian Nick Cannon. However, according to reports Carey is dodging her, refusing to see Scott. It's cruel to snub the sick, especially when it is family. As stated previously in the column, I have been diligently working on forthcoming drug patents regarding cancer and separately AIDS. As such, I take offense to people shunning the sick. Anyone can get sick. It doesn't mean they are dirty.

One of my credible sources responsible for some of my exclusives, all of which later proved true, informed me that comedian Nick Cannon, the husband of singer and chronic copyright infringer, Mariah Carey, 43, has homosexual tendencies that aided his career. My source informed me that Nick "Let men touch him for career favors in Hollywood."

Nick let men touch the Cannon for career advancement in becoming a star. How ironic, as Carey became famous via the same thing, cheating with then married Sony Music CEO Tommy Mottola, who left his heartbroken wife and kids for the singer, who is half his age.

Carey used Motolla and behaved very badly during her time at Sony, which employees still complain about to this day. Other Sony artists weren't too pleased with her either, as she was  given preferential treatment for having sex with Mottola and usurping chunks of the label's budget.

But Mottola was no fool. Mottola, who bragged about his connections to the mafia, knew she didn't love him and was using him to become famous. Right away, Mottola began taking significant sums of her royalties. In the end, she didn't walk away with what people thought.

Carey does not have as much money as people think. She is certainly not poor, but missing roughly $100,000,000 that went with Mottola. He wasn't as dumb as she thought. It's not kind to marry someone one does not love in order to use them for what they have in the bank and their connections.

Said "lambs" are under the misguided impression that if they act like bullies and beasts to people such as myself, Nicki Minaj and Kelly Price, from behind the safety of their computers, issuing death threats and threats of violence, they can somehow silence others. Wrong!

They are free to state whatever they like under free speech laws, provided it is not illegal (i.e. death threats, assault threats) but unlawfully spamming me, with the same folks firing off several threat laden tweets in seconds, clouding out the tweets to me I actually want to read, is inexcusable. R&B singer Kelly Price is really going after everyone. On part one of the "R&B Divas LA" reunion show, host Wendy Williams confronted her about comments she made on social networking site Twitter, stating Mariah Carey can't sing. Price used to be Carey's back up singer and left before the singer wanted her to do so.

Williams, who called Price a "mean bully" read her tweet about Carey, "I’m looking at a concert on TV right now of a certain singer and asking myself what happened to your voice. Sometimes the gimmick goes too far. One day you go to sing and realize it ain’t happening. This is making my voice hurt."

I'm not a fan of how Mariah Carey got her record deal (having sex with Sony Music president Tommy Mottola while he was married with small kids, breaking up his marriage, then marrying and using him for preferential treatment at the label). Not a fan of Carey repeatedly stealing copyrighted music from stars such as Earth, Wind and Fire and the Emotions (for which she was sued) as well as ripping off lesser known songwriters (who also sued her).

However, when Carey began in the early 1990s, it did appear she could sing very well. Price is attributing it to a studio gimmick. But seriously, if you could do that in a studio then Rihanna and Britney Spears would sound like Whitney Houston. There is a physical change regarding the sound of Carey's vocals around the time of her third CD "Music Box" when her voice began to deteriorate. You can hear the deterioration on "Music Box" as compared to her self-titled debut CD.

Other singers have experienced similar things, but Carey's is one of the most notable vocal declines in pop music history. Her former labelmate Celine Dion stated she had lost her voice for a few weeks, but it came back. Dion still sounds the same today, with no decline.

However, I always wondered what happened to Carey, as singers' voices usually don't change/decline until they are in their sixties (some singers experience no negative change at all, such as Patti Labelle). I've heard singers in their eighties and their voices didn't change the way Carey's did, especially over the course of a couple years. 

Drugs and alcohol can cause audible damage to one's voice prior to one's sixties, but with Carey, something distinctly physiological occurred. Would be a good case study. I know music theory and history form a musicological standpoint and can attest, something strange happened with Carey. I wondered if it was years of singing in the whistle register that depleted her voice, but Minnie Ripperton and countless opera singers have done the same and their voices did not diminish in the manner Carey's did and so rapidly. 

There is another theory and it appears to be what Price is implying - someone else was singing with Carey in the studio, proving the backbone of her musical sound. Look at what she stated again about Carey, "I’m looking at a concert on TV right now of a certain singer and asking myself what happened to your voice. Sometimes the gimmick goes too far. One day you go to sing and realize it ain’t happening. This is making my voice hurt." Why would her voice hurt unless she was singing...

Price may be implying it was her propping up Carey's sound on her first CDs, as she was her background singer. Another issue that does not help matters, it is well noted that for years Mottola refused to let Carey tour, which would have meant singing live. It wasn't until her voice (on record) began to deteriorate that she started singing live. By that time the deteriorated vocals matched up (recorded and live). Makes you wonder.
