Neal Schon of the rock band Journey, was photographed kissing White House gatecrasher and former "Real Housewives of DC" reality star, Michaele Salahi, in what will be another blow to her husband, Tareq Salahi.
This month, Michaele ran off and left bankrupt, controlling Tareq for the rich, award winning Journey guitarist/songwriter, after passing up the chance to marry him in 1995. She stated living with Tareq at his family's vineyard in Virginia, meant an easier life for her, as she has Multiple Sclerosis, rather than constantly being on the road with the Journey rocker (just like their 1980s song "Faithfully").
The Judiciary Report does not agree with infidelity and not out of being judgmental. Adultery damages people, brings much heartbreak and goes against God's will that married couples not cheat on each other. I get what Michaele is trying to say about Schon being the one, but she married Salahi, not him and should honor her marriage vows.
Pop culture headlines have been dominated by news of White House gatecrasher and former "Real Housewives of DC" star, Michaele Salahi (nee Holt), leaving her husband of 8-years, Tareq Salahi, to do the no-no with Journey guitarist, Neal Schon. The Judiciary Report is not amused.
Michaele Salahi
Journey is one of the best selling bands in music. They are famous for the hits "Faithfully" (their best song) "Open Arms" "When You Love A Woman" and "I'll Be Alright Without You." Former Journey frontman, Steve Perry, is one of the best vocalists in modern music history. He is the Portuguese Sam Cooke.
Journey
So imagine my annoyance when Perry's songwriting partner, Schon, runs off with Salahi (or vice versa). Dude, what are you doing? You need to send Botox Barbie home to her husband, who was crying on TV like a girl, telling everyone she was kidnapped (but she was actually with you). I think Michaele is going through a midlife crisis and trying to relive her groupie days.
Neal Schon
According to the Chicago Sun Times, Salahi wants to do a reality show with award winning musician, Schon, since her former program was cancelled in the Spring, due to poor ratings. It was the first in the franchise to be cancelled after one season. The affiliation is going to hurt Schon and Journey. Salahi's husband has announced he is filing for divorce.
U.S. politician and Democrat, Harry Reid, has been slammed in a new political ad, which paints him as a lover of luxury, who is out of touch with the populace. Reid, much like luxury loving White House gatecrashers, Michaele and Tareq Salahis, live at Washington, DC's opulent Ritz Carlton hotel.
Harry Reid
Rooms begin at $400 per night and gives guests the opportunity to live in one of the country's most posh hotels, located in the nation's capital. The Ritz has concierge service, fine dining and many other luxury amenities.
Michaele and Tareq Salahi
Reid has portrayed himself in the press, as a man who can relate and is sympathetic to the suffering of Americans, during the current financial depression. However, the aforementioned advert successfully cast him as the exact opposite.
Former baseball player, Roger Clemens, has been indicted by the U.S. Federal government, for lying in Congress, during a heated exchange that damaged his legacy. Members of Congress repeatedly pressed him for answers, regarding alleged steroids use and each time he denied their claims.
Tareq Salahi (center) and Michaele Salahi (right) in Congress, before they said, well, nothing
Clemens should have done what White House gatecrashers, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, did in pleading the Fifth and remaining silent, regarding their illegal acts of trespassing, as untruthful statements in Congress can lead to prison.
Michaele and Tareq Salahi are considering suing talk show "The View" for inviting them on the program and repeatedly calling the couple gatecrashers. The couple continues to irrationally insist, they were invited to the White House, when all involved in the scandal say no they were not. Answering machine recordings revealed, they were not invited, though they desperately tried to snag an invitation.
Joy Behar (left): I should cut her!
The Salahis also invoked the Fifth Amendment, opting to remain silent in Congress, to avoid self-incrimination, when questioned about the embarrassing incident on national TV. That betrays guilt on their part.
Whoopi Goldberg (right): No, Joy, not if I cut her first! She said I hit her, when I didn't! I guess when you're that skinny, everything feels like a hit!
No uncorrupted jury would dare award the Salahis damages against the show for calling them what they are - gatecrashers. If you attend an RSVP event without invite, you have crashed it.
White House gatecrashers, Michaele and Tareq Salahi, lied about an incident that occurred, on the U.S. television talk show "The View." The couple claimed one of the show's hosts, comedian, Whoopi Goldberg, hit Michaele Salahi.
Michaele Salahi
However, tape released today reveals, Goldberg did not hit her, but gently placed one hand on Salahi's back and the other on her arm, telling her to talk about gatecrashing the White House, before time runs out at the taping of the show.
Side Bar: Who is Salahi kidding. If an irate woman like Whoopi Goldberg or Joy Behar had truly hit her, we would know. She would have been on the floor with security yelling, "Get a medic. Gatecrasher down! Gatecrasher down!"
U.S. President Barack Obama's Secret Service detail
Micheale and Tareq Salahi, the couple that crashed U.S. President Barack Obama's first state dinner, insists the investigation into their misconduct was a charade and unnecessary. They also called the Obama White House uninviting and discourteous, stating they, "Would never treat someone that came to their house like that." How sad. Crack is such a powerful drug.
Micheale and Tareq Salahi
The manner in which they went to the Nation's house is completely illegal and a danger to national security. Why should such a security breach be applauded. It also sent the nation's first black social secretary packing, after their conduct caused controversy and scandal.
U.S. President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama
Desiree Rogers, the social secretary of U.S. President, Barack Obama, has resigned from her job, which is regrettable, as she is the first black woman to hold the post. She was largely blamed for the Secret Service's failures, in allowing a couple to gatecrash the President's first state dinner, which was not fair.
Desiree Rogers
Rogers should not have resigned. Sasha and Malia could have been running over my foot every day with their tricycles, I would not have quit my post over another employee's blunder.
The Salahis gatecrashed the White House
The only way she should have quit, is if she slept with Mr. Obama and since he is not dead, via the First Lady killing him for cheating, you should not have left the White House.
Side Bar: this website does not advocate violence.
White House social secretary steps down
02:35 PM - The fallout from the White House party-crashers debacle continues: White House social secretary Desiree Rogers, the Obama pal who was the first black social secretary, will step down next month to pursue opportunities in the corporate world, according to the Chicago Sun-Times and the online magazine The Root.
Her departure had been likely ever since the first state dinner in November, reports USA TODAY's Maria Puente, when Tareq and Michaela Salahi, two Virginia reality-show-wannabes who were not invited to the party, got into the White House and even rubbed elbows with the president and vice-president... http://content.usatoday.com
The couple that gatecrashed U.S. President Barack Obama's first dinner, the Salahi's, made an uncomfortable and haughty appearance in Congress today, supposedly to answer questions by members of the nation's legislative body.
Regrettably, the troublesome duo failed to answer any questions, by invoking their 5th Amendment Constitutional right, to prevent self-incrimination. Translation: we're not saying squat cause we don't want to go to prison.
They need to own up to what they did and accept the consequences. It is better to come clean of what transpired, apologize and move on.
White House gatecrashers keep quiet in Congress
WASHINGTON - A US couple who crashed President Barack Obama's first state dinner, leaving the White House red-faced, refused on Wednesday to answer a Congressional committee's questions about the incident.
"On the advice of my counsel, I respectfully assert my right to remain silent and decline to answer your question," Tareq Salahi repeatedly told the committee, invoking his constitutional rights against self-incrimination.
His wife Michaele did the same in the hearing before the House of Representatives Homeland Security Committee. The couple refused to take questions from reporters…
"Are you here today, Mr. Salahi? Are you here right now? You've got to get an answer from your attorney on that?," Pascrell mocked…
Reality TV star, Tila Tequila, stated she is being protected by the "Secret Service." Are you sure? They don't even protect the President (For further reference, see Obama Gatecrashers). Why would they be protecting you, an entertainer.
Obama Gatecrashers Tareq and Micheale Salahi
Maybe Tila misunderstood what the bodyguard said, as a Secret Service agent would not be doing full time side work for entertainers. It's an oxymoron. And no Tila, I'm not calling you a moron. It just means a contradiction. You're a smart girl, you're just getting mixed up in things you shouldn't, because you want to be accepted and it's damaging you.
Tila Tequila Gets 'Secret Service'
Posted on Jan 17, 2010 @ 12:10PM - Tila Tequila wants her fans to know that she's happy and safe. She took to Twitter to let everyone in on the fact she's being looked after...
"This is the FIRST TIME I am smiling & happy again because I know in my heart that my baby ANGEL CASEY did this for me! She sent me protection!" Tila Tweeted...
Tila, who was engaged to socialite Casey Johnson at the time of her sudden death January 4, said a security firm owner named Kris is providing his agency's services free of charge because he thinks she is the "nicest celeb he ever met."
Kris is a "Secret Service Agent" Tila said, and all his bodyguards are highly trained operatives...
U.S. President Barack Obama, Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi
According to an article in the Washington Post, there was a third security breach at the White House, while U.S. President Barack Obama and his family were present. There was another uninvited person present at President Obama's first state dinner in November 2009.
The Secret Service needs to get on the ball and desist with the sloppy security breaches, lest Obama ends up like JFK or RFK. Clearly, security is not what it should be that such a lapse happened three times.
Monday, January 4, 2010; 2:23 PM - WASHINGTON -- The Secret Service says another person not on the guest list was allowed into a White House state dinner for India's prime minister in November.
Officials have been reviewing White House security procedures after it was discovered that an attention-seeking couple - Tareq and Michaele Salahi - made their way into the party without an invitation and shook hands with the president. Monday's acknowledgment brings the tally to three people who made it through Secret Service security at the White House without being on a guest list...
Video: Secret Service Admits: "A Mistake Was Made"
According to a report, prior to Tareq Salahi and his wife Michaele, crashed U.S. President Obama's first state dinner at the White House, he contacted Tim Burke of the MTV show Blaggers, which is about, "A group of friends that crash high profile events."
Video: Raw Video: Michaele Salahi Takes on TV Host Duties
Salahi, a board member of the American Task Force on Palestine, was reportedly seeking advice on how to get into such events without an invitation. Well, that completes the puzzle.
U.S. President Barack Obama, Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi
In other news, Congress seeks to question the couple in a hearing, as they've breached national security, endangered the President and Vice President and embarrassed the Secret Service, who have apologized. While the couple appears embarrassed by the bad publicity, they should apologize to the White House.
White House party crashers 'sought blagging advice from British director'
Published: 1:08AM GMT 03 Dec 2009 - The couple accused of gatecrashing a White House state dinner had recently asked the British director of a television series about "blagging" for advice on tricking their way into a black tie event, it has been claimed.
Tareq and Michaele Salahi prompted a Secret Service investigation and a major row about White House security after they managed to get into a state dinner for the Indian prime minister despite having no invitations...
However, the Salahis' assertion that they would never stoop to gatecrash a White House dinner appears to be contradicted by an email exchange with the director of a TV show about blagging.
Tim Burke, who directed MTV Blaggers! – in which a group of friends gatecrash high profile events and parties - said he was contacted by Mr Salahi a week before the White House incident...
He went on: "I am wondering what technique you would suggest we use for a formal engagement, black tie event, state event?...What has been successful in the past and what should we look out for."
Mr Burke said he replied, making two suggestions – either ringing up the organisers in advance to get some names on the guest list or what he called the "pick a name any name" technique...
House chairman wants to subpoena Salahis, but not Desiree Rogers
Thursday, December 3, 2009; 1:53 PM - Secret Service director Mark Sullivan acknowledged mistakes were made by letting Tareq and Michaele Salahi into a state dinner but said he's confident President Barack Obama was never at risk.
A House Republican's attempt to require congressional testimony from a White House aide about last week's state dinner was shot down Thursday by a leading Democrat, who said, "Even the discussion is out of order at this point."...
The Salahis and Rogers all declined to attend the committee's hearing Thursday about what the dinner revealed about White House security.
Thompson said the committee would begin the procedure to issue a subpoena to the Salahis. He warned that if they did not show up in a future hearing, they would be "subject to contempt of Congress," and added that he hoped they would be "as willing to talk to Congress as they have been to talk to the media."...
U.S. President Barack Obama, Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi
Tareq and Michaele Salahi, the couple that crashed President Barack Obama's first state dinner, by showing up uninvited and breaching security to the point they were able to touch and be photographed with the President, are in the middle of another controversy today.
It appears their annual "Land Rover America's Polo Cup" charity benefit boasts sponsors, who did not support the event. When press inquires began this week, many corporate giants listed on the Salahi's "Land Rover America's Polo Cup" website, claimed no knowledge of the event.
The couple has also faced 16 lawsuits in civil court, as a result of business dealings gone wrong, such as the"Land Rover America's Polo Cup" placing them in the Defendants' column of the complaints.
Side Bar: when I was a teenager I used to watch the show "The Young And The Restless." Doesn't Michaele Salahi look like Cricket (Lauralee Bell). She also reminds me of Marla Maples.
Couple's problems didn't start with White House dinner
Tareq and Michaele Salahi's signature social event, the annual Land Rover America's Polo Cup, bills itself as the "world's most prestigious and largest . . . charity polo event," benefiting the Salahi-run charity Journey for the Cure. Its next U.S. gala is scheduled for June on the Mall.
The two-day event is to center on a polo match between the United States, for which Tareq Salahi is the captain, and India. General admission tickets start at $25, "Cartier VIP tickets" are $600 to $1,000, and a lifetime membership is on offer for $100,000. The three-year-old polo cup's Web site says it has been "patroned every year by the President of the United States."
But many sponsors listed by America's Cup for 2010 -- including Land Rover, Cartier, the St. Regis Hotel in Washington and the Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. -- say they are not sponsors for that event. Many vendors in previous years said in interviews that the Salahis have not paid for their services in the event's three-year history, expenses totaling about $500,000. Many have filed lawsuits, and the couple has countersued often. And there is no record of any president attending any of the polo cups...
Matt Lauer, a television host famous for unraveling mentally disturbed actor and Scientologist, Tom Cruise, interviewed White House party crashers, Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi, on his program today.
During the interview, Lauer questioned the tight lipped couple about a story involving them crashing a September 26, 2009 Congressional Black Caucus dinner, which they were uninvited to and escorted off the premises.
"Video: House Panel Sets Hearing on White House Breach"
The couple denied the story. However, others insist the embarrassing episode happened. In another article, it was revealed, Michaele Salahi, posed as an NFL cheerleader, for the Redskins team, despite records revealing she was never a member of the squad.
The stories that have surfaced since this scandal erupted suggest, the couple has a habit of crashing events and posing as things they are not. The White House and Pentagon maintain, the Salahis were not invited to President Obama's first state dinner last week and as such, crashed the party. Obama has expressed concern at the incident, as it breached his security.
E-Mails Show Salahis Never Got White House State Dinner Invite From Pentagon
Couple Had Claimed After E-Mails Came Out, They Would Be 'Completely Exonerated'
WASHINGTON, Dec. 1, 2009 - E-mails between the so-called state dinner crashers and a Pentagon official indicate the official was trying to get them in to the White House event, but did not succeed, according to the email chain obtained by ABC News.
In the emails, Pentagon official Michele S. Jones told Tareq and Michaele Salahi that she was trying to get them access to the White House grounds, but never said she had received approval, contradicting the couple's claim today that they had emails proving they had been invited to the Nov. 24 gala.
Appearing on NBC's "Today," the couple said they had been invited and were confident they could prove it...
The emails support what White House officials said today, when they reiterated to ABC News that the Salahis were not invited, and back up Jones, special assistant to the Secretary of Defense, who flatly denied the Salahis' claim...
"What concerns me the most is that someone was able to walk in off the street to a White House event, without the proper credentials, without the proper vetting, and get next to the president," said Bennie Thompson, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee...
U.S. President Barack Obama, Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi
Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the couple that caused the White House and Secret Service, great embarrassment, when they crashed President Obama's first state dinner, are demanding $500,000 to tell their side of the story. The White House maintains, they were not on the guest list and as such crashed the party.
For accomplishing something that could serve as a test run for a possible racist assassin, providing encouragement to those that would seek to do the President harm, they should received squat for their account of the night's festivities.
Party Crashers: Pay Us $500K, We'll Talk
Nov. 29, 2009 - Reps of Couple Who Crashed White House State Dinner Reportedly Contacting Networks to "Get Their Bids In" for Interview.
(CBS/AP) An American TV executive says the couple that crashed President Obama's first state dinner is now offering to talk to broadcast networks about it - providing they're well paid.
The executive, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the network doesn't publicly discuss bookings, says representatives for Michaele and Tareq Salahi contacted networks to urge them to "get their bids in" for an interview.
The executive says the Virginia couple was looking for a payment in the mid-six figures range - about half a million dollars.
The couple's success in getting into the state dinner Tuesday without an invitation embarrassed the White House and Secret Service.
The alarming security breach that occurred at the White House during U.S. President Barack Obama's first state dinner, with India's Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh, is currently under investigation.
A couple, who were not on the guest list, Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi, crashed the party, with a cameraman in tow. They got close enough to take photos with Vice President Biden, then uploaded it to the social networking site Faccebook.
U.S. President Barack Obama, Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi
They were also in the same room with President Obama and were photographed with him as well. While the story did not end badly this time, if such a breach transpires again, the results could be catastrophic. As a commenter hypothetically stated in an AP article, the couple could have had anthrax on them or grabbed a knife from the dining table.
Several months ago, the Judiciary Report stated Obama would need excellent security, as one gets a very bad vibe regarding the threats that are out there against him and certain statements being made by very connected individuals.
Tareq Salahi, Vice President Joe Biden and Michaele Salahi
There's a very serious problem there and if something is not done to properly protect this man, it is going to end very badly at the hands of a hateful person. The government needs to get its act together, because if Obama is assassinated, that's it for the U.S. government's name in the world. He's the first black President. You need to do better than this regarding security.
Side Bar: doesn't the White House have ADT or something (kidding).
Party Crashers Met Obama in Dinner’s Receiving Line (Update2)
Nov. 27 (Bloomberg) -- A couple who slipped past security at this week’s state dinner met President Barack Obama in the receiving line for the gathering, according to a photograph released by the White House today.
The U.S. Secret Service is investigating the breach, which director Mark Sullivan said “deeply concerned and embarrassed” the agency. Agents failed to follow procedures that should have prevented the man and woman from crashing the event, he said.
“The preliminary findings of our internal investigation have determined established protocols were not followed at an initial checkpoint,” Sullivan said today.
It remained unclear how long the uninvited couple, identified as Tareq and Michaele Salahi of Virginia, stayed at the event honoring India Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
“Although these individuals went through magnetometers and other levels of screening, they should have been prohibited from entering the event entirely,” Sullivan said. “That failing is ours.”...
A wealthy couple, Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi, breached security at U.S. President Barack Obama's first state dinner this week, with guest of honor, Prime Minister, Manmohan Singh.
Tareq Salahi, Vice President Joe Biden and Michaele Salahi
While the following is not written against the couple, as they seem to like Obama, but it isn't a particularly lovely thought, that the most targeted President in U.S. history, due to the color of his skin, is living in the White House, under security that can be easily breached by party crashers. Many have been concerned Obama will get assassinated and the security breach is very concerning in light of that.
Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi Breach Security to Crash State Dinner
November 26, 2009 - It Appears that President Obama Had Uninvited Guests at His State Dinner on Tuesday. Did Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi crash a White House dinner? It seems that Michaele and Tareq were not invited to the White House by anyone in authority, but ended up making their way into the Presidents home for the pre-Thanksgiving Day party. These are two people that really only Michaele Salahi and Tareq Salahi Breach Security to Crash State Dinner care about status, and they proved that by using their connections to get into what was assumed to be the most secure party around...
