U.S. Stock Market Plummets 1000 Points

Vice President Joe Biden (left) and President Barack Obama (center)

The U.S. stock market wildly fluctuated today, even plummeting 1,000 points at one point, on the news of economic turmoil coming out of Greece and the massive oil spill on the east coast of America.

America is steeped in a terrible financial depression, where historic records have been set in the number of foreclosures and company collapses. Certain U.S. states have also recorded a record number of job losses. Yet, during this financial turmoil, the U.S. stock market kept soaring, with seemingly nothing to back it up.

Greece Riots

The U.S. Financial crisis of 2008, which began in Corporate America, has negatively impacted America and the world, in an ongoing and devastating depression that has not yielded. The fallout from which, can been seen today, in riots currently transpiring in Greece. Other nations such as Britain and Iceland have suffered massive job and economic losses.

An international effort is needed to create failsafes for the global economy, lest the same crisis reboots itself in America, but at worst levels and spreads all over the world again (as predicted last week).

Greece Riots

Wall Street is in dire need of regulation. There is still a massive amount of financial fraud in Corporate America. The SEC, FBI and DOJ, have done a terrible job in stemming the problem, costing millions in America and the world, all they have worked for in their lives.

This simply is not moral, just or decent. It poses a severe danger to the economic survival and development of the world and something needs to be done. There is no such thing as easy money. It always comes at a price. There is no substitute for hard work and honesty.

Unnecessary Foreclosures

America has experienced a record number of foreclosures that saw millions lose their homes. However, there is a national issue, exacerbating the problem. Municipalities and real estate boards in America, placing liens on homes, in violation of Homestead Law, then forcing properties into foreclosure.

Miami has been plagued with this problem, as has many other U.S. cities nationwide, where greedy residential boards, municipalities and property associations, have forced American families into foreclosures, via frivolous liens for items such as, grass that was not mowed in a timely fashion, house color violations, roof cleaning issues (mildew) and other cosmetic citations of that nature on perfectly habitable homes.

The problems arise when exorbitant liens for $25-$500 U.S. dollars per day, are unconscionably placed on properties and in many instances, foreclosure proceedings initiated.

Some homeowners did not receive citation notices, while others, who are on a budget or have lost their jobs in the current terrible economic climate, cannot afford to make the cosmetic changes demanded by local councils and end up on the street, when their homes are seized via subsequent council foreclosures.

Let that sink in. There are many people that are struggling to and manage to pay their mortgages, but are being confronted and harassingly so, by Code Enforcement officers, telling them their home is the wrong color, their roof is not clean enough (mildew) or their grass needs mowing, then placing a massive daily lien on their homes, triggering unnecessary foreclosures.

Another pattern emerging is crooked code enforcement officers rushing to place frivolous liens on homeowners properties, when they read of properties going on sale via realtors' websites, hoping to cash in.

Many Americans have been forced to sell their homes, to spare their credit during this tough financial crisis and hopefully gain some cash to move on with, using the equity therein, only to be confronted with terrible, invented liens, designed to steal the financial equity they have built up in their property over the years.

This foolishness should not be happening in America (or anywhere in this world for that matter) especially during a financial crisis. It is absolute fraud, as Homestead Law, forbids such liens, which are legally labeled "unenforceable."

In one such recent incident in Miami Shores, a Haitian man died of a heart attack, due to financial problems, including being harangued and harassed by said village board, over an accruing lien they placed on his property in 2004, in violation of Homestead Law.

Weeks after his death, a callous Miami Shores Code Enforcement officer, saw his wife trying to work in the home's garden and snidely informed her, in violation of U.S. Homestead Law, don't bother, because the Village of Miami Shores is going to own the home, foreclosing on it, due to some stupid, ongoing, daily lien they placed on the property in 2004, that has grown to the massive sum of $200,000.

She is grieving for her deceased husband and being confronted with such illegal insidiousness. The woman just buried her husband and has to seek legal representation, which will cost thousands, to save her home from a greedy, unconscionable village council.

Ironically, the village council is stocked with people that own construction and home repair businesses, so when they excessively cite homeowners, guess whose businesses you are likely going to end up going to in order to correct the so-called code violations on your home.

Ironically, just yesterday, a Miami Shores Village employee was arrested for embezzling $200,000 in funds from taxpayers in the area, who pay lien and sanitation fees.

The South Florida law firm of Genovese, Joblove and Battista, has openly and actively, broken U.S. Homestead law, launching American families in South Florida, into bankruptcy and severe financial straights, via inflexible, daily property liens, which have nothing to do with homeowners' mortgages.

Other similar law firms around the nation, are also egregiously breaking Homestead Law, costing Americans many millions in code enforcements citations/liens and in many cases, their homes. Something needs to be done about this on a federal level, as it is damaging American homeowners, whilst putting some out on the street in violation of existing laws.

Tim Tebow Has Best Selling Jersey

Tim Tebow

Christian, NFL football player and rookie, Tim Tebow, has the best selling jersey (t-shirt) in the league. It actually set a sales record for a rookie. Tebow, who was featured in a pro-life, "Focus On The Family" ad, has been the subject of much attention.

Well done to Tebow and best wishes to him in the future in all his endeavors. Clearly, people are supporting him, as evident by his shirt sales and public feedback. A few bloggers have been picking on him, but don't be jealous and hate him because he is good looking. That's not his fault. Blame his mom (just teasing about blaming his mom - leave the woman alone).

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Voyeur Statements Cause A Stir

Elisabeth Hasselbeck

Elisabeth Hasselbeck, one of the hosts of the television show, "The View" has tearfully apologized to ESPN sportscaster and "Dancing with The Stars" contestant, Erin Andrews, for criticizing her costumes on the program, stating the now incarcerated voyeur that targeted her, should have waited and watched the show, if he wanted to see her without clothes.

Erin Andrews: I can't believe she said that about me!

Hasselbeck was slammed by many for these comments, as Andrews was perversely spied on by a sexual deviant, that compromised the peepholes on her hotel room suites and used his mobile phone to film her nude, whilst she was getting dressed to cover sporting events.

Erin Andrews on "Dancing With The Stars"

In short, Hasselbeck's comments were not funny, as it encouraged sexual predators to believe their conduct is acceptable human behavior, by enforcing the view, it is okay to target women.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck on "The View"

It's odd that Hasselbeck, who called herself a fan of Madonna (who coincidentally is a sick voyeur), would criticize another woman for wearing skimpy costumes on a television show, when Madonna has done that for every album, even posing nude. Furthermore, Hasselbeck has posed in a bikini for a fitness DVD and worn low-cut tops on "The View."

Lindsay Lohan In Court Trouble Again

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan has landed herself in more legal trouble. It is being reported she has violated a judge's orders and not attended the required number of alcohol education classes, while retaining "a bad attitude" with school staff.

Lohan is placing her freedom in jeopardy, via violating a court order, especially one of this caliber. However, some jail time would give her a chance to dry out from drugs and alcohol, since she refuses to listen to reason and is making a mockery of the court.

Lindsay Lohan - Problem Pupil

Originally posted May 5th 2010 10:57 AM PDT - Sources tell TMZ Lindsay Lohan has not attended the required number of alcohol ed courses -- and we're told school officials are saying Lindsay has "a bad attitude" and "entitlement issues."

TMZ broke the story that Lindsay is bound for jail because she hasn't been in alcohol ed class at least once a week -- as required by the court...

Fact is ... even if Lindsay makes up the classes, the judge made it clear in an earlier hearing, "Defendant must attend program at least once a week without fail ... defendant must be in full compliance to not be in violation."...

Based on what we know about Judge Marsha Revel, it's almost certain she'll order Lindsay to appear in person on May 20. In addition to missing classes, we're told Lindsay's bad attitude at the school will have a big impact on the judge. So the stage is set for a showdown.
