Can you imagine being a nanny for Mariah Carey, who is notorious in the music industry for being very difficult and unreasonable (see: Mariah Carey Planning Las Vegas Residency But Will Her Voice Hold Up). Carey bragged that she goes through so many nannies, which should have tipped the public off she is putting these women through an ordeal in caring for her cute little twins. Well, one nanny isn't going to take it anymore.

This week is was announced, nanny Simonette DaCosta, sued Carey and estranged husband Nick Cannon, for wrongful termination, stating the children had grown to love her, which upset the singer, who became jealous. DaCosta also stated Carey failed to pay her overtime, despite working her like a dog, calling the nanny at all hours of the day to perform tasks. DaCosta is requesting overtime and damages in the lawsuit, seeking an undisclosed sum. Let's just hope that the adorable kids will be okay, as they've seen and heard too much from two parents at odds with each other.

American Employers Set To Lay Off Hundreds Of Thousands Due To Obama Reelection

Based on reports in the news, employers across America are set to lay off hundreds of thousands of workers due to President Barack Obama being reelected, their lack of faith in his financial policies and Obamacare, the costly juggernaut of a health care program, sending up Medicaid costs. 

Numerous reports keep coming out about employers making this determination, which is going to negatively impact the economy. However, some feel they will not be able to afford keeping all their workers on staff, in the face of four more years of what transpired during the President's first term.

"Occupy Wall Street" protestors purposefully went outside the luxury New York apartment building of Rupert Murdoch, the crooked, greedy CEO of News Corp, to show their displeasure at his corrupt actions, which contributed to the ongoing U.S. financial crisis that has also damaged the world. Shareholders have loudly voiced their view that they want Murdoch and his corrupt children gone from the company, they own a moderate number of shares in, but regrettably, possess most of the voting stock.

News Corp employs 50,000 people with billions of dollars in shareholder invested money at stake. Yet the corrupt, selfish Murdoch family refuses to leave for the good of the company, as the public is threatening to wage a full-on, massive boycott against the corporation. That says the Murdochs do not care about the 50,000 employees of News Corp, whose jobs are at stake or the shareholders that have invested billions.

They are a sick, self-serving clan, who belong in prison for a laundry list of financial crimes and serious wiretapping, phone hacking and fraud felonies. They are going to end up taking that entire company down with them, but to their refusal to leave.

Walmart Sex Discrimination Lawsuit At Unsympathetic Supreme Court

According to ABC News, the U.S. Supreme Court, looked at Walmart employees with great skepticism for filing suit against the retail giant for sexual discrimination. The Judiciary Report is concerned Walmart employees are not going to get a fair shake at the Supreme Court, who usually sides with the rich.

However, employee after employee at Walmart are telling the same story, of men being paid twice as much and being promoted over females. This cannot be a coincidence, but culture at the company. Everyone should be treated equally in the workplace. Advancement should solely be based on achievement, not gender.

The sane answer would be no, as who wants to work with someone unreliable, prone to violence and drug and alcohol fuelled partying. One would seek an employee that is responsible and most of all, free.

However, amazingly, Lohan and her family of publicity seekers, do not see it that way. They are of the belief, Lohan is the best, most sought after actress in the world and people should be tripping over themselves to hire her. A little objectivity would not hurt this family, especially Lindsay, who has taken leave of her senses.

The Obama White House Exodus Continues

This is a follow up to the October 8, 2010 article "Obama Presidency In Turmoil." The Guardian did an article on October 10, 2010, entitled "White House staff exodus exposes Obama to charges of disarray" commenting on the most recent, high profile White House departures in Washington, D.C., also noting that many more are to come. The Obama Administration has imploded in under two years, which is regrettable.

President Obama's economic and political policies have failed, hence the stream of departures from his administration, as people attempt to leave before the brown stuff hits the fan, as the phrase goes. Where did that phrase come from, anyway. Why would their be poo on a fan. How unhygienic.

But I digress. Obama is running out of choices, as the election looms. He has not paid enough attention to public opinion, via the voices of the American people, opting to only listen to counsel from his closest advisors, who have been wrong on a number of things.

Trying to be the new President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 2008 was a bad idea. Somewhere, somehow, President Obama got it into his head that the way to prosperity, was to embark on a massive spending spree, using taxpayer money, as Eisenhower did after the war. However, this is a different America and new rules apply.
