Bobby Shmurda

Brooklyn born Miami rapper, Bobby Shmurda, real name Ackquille Pollard, famous for the 2015 hit “Hot Nig*a” has pled guilty to conspiracy to commit murder. Shmurda was facing a life sentence, after a government sting caught him and members of his GS9 street gang engaging in a host of criminal behavior. GS9 are affiliated with the Crips street gang of Los Angeles (G Stone Crips). Shmurda and GS9 were formally accused in court papers of drug trafficking and the murder of a rival gang member. Shmurda and his friends need to do their time, try to stay out of trouble while incarcerated, come out of prison and live clean lives.

Side Bar: People, leave that life of crime alone. Sooner or later it will catch up to you in some form or another. It is not worth it.

Sony Music's L.A. Reid Blasted Online For Not Paying $2,000,000 Bail Money For Rapper Bobby Shmurda

Bobby Shmurda

Sony Music executive and LaFace Records co-founder, Antonio "L.A." Reid, is being slammed on social networking and in the blogosphere everyday for not paying $2,000,000 in bail money to have 20-year-old rap artist, Bobbi Shmurda, released from Riker's Island prison in New York, where he and fellow gang members have been locked up for the past 10-months.

Bobbi Shmurda, real name, Ackquille Pollard, is up on a host of charges that include murder, attempted murder, drug trafficking and possession of illegal weapons. Shmurda had the hit of 2014 with the track "Hot Nig*a" which was independently written, recorded and released. Sony Music got into a bidding war with other record labels and won. Shmurda was signed to a multi-million dollar deal. His upfront "advance" as it is know in the industry was said to be $1,000,000.

However, the DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) and New York Police Department moved in on Shmurda and his GS9 crew, who are affiliated with the Los Angeles street gang the Crips. The feds are accusing Shmurda and company of being very violent and dangerous criminals. As such, Sony Music declined posting $2,000,000 bail. They did so for fear of bringing down the police on them over an artist who has not made the company the equivalent of his bail money.

L.A. Reid

Reid was quoted as stating, "I'm crazy about that kid and I think about him often, but we seriously don't make the money we used to make. That's a fact of life. Bobby Shmurda is not the same as Snoop Dogg and Murder Was The Case, who's coming off The Chronic and his first album. It's a different era, ya know? And we're a publicly held corporation. We just aren't in the same position we were in back in those days. So, it's a different day."

Reid, tired of the bad publicity centering on him online regarding the incident further stated, "It made me feel like people don't know anything about my business. It's really not their business. That's the truth about it. We're not elected officials here, and we're not at liberty to disclose how we do business." Shmurda expressed his disappointment stating, "When I got locked up, I thought they were going to come for me, but they never came."

Shmurda's lawyer Matthew Middleton slammed Reid and Epic/Sony stating, "These companies for years have capitalized and made millions and millions of dollars from kids in the inner city portraying their plight to the rest of the world. To take advantage of that and exploit it from a business standpoint and then turn your back is disingenuous, to say the least."

A tearful Bobby Shmurda being perp walked in December 2014 after committing a series of serious crimes with his crew that feds have evidence of via wiretaps, telephone records, computer files, emails, witness statements and data from active surveillance that was conducted for the past few years

The fact of the matter is Hollywood is a den of thieves and criminals. There are industry members who have committed and commissioned vicious assaults, murders, thefts, acts of burglary, hacking, phone hacking and issued death threats. Hollywood doesn't care. They are only in it for the money, in a evil business that is reaping what it sowed, via its ongoing rapid decline and massive financial losses.

L.A. Reid Defends Epic Not Paying Bobby Shmurda's Bail

By Daniel Kreps October 16, 2015 - L.A. Reid has defended Epic Records after the label came under fire for their reluctance to pay Bobby Shmurda's $2 million bail. Epic Records has come under fire in recent months for their refusal to pay the $2 million bail for Bobby Shmurda, the "Hot Nig*a" rapper behind bars since December 2014 awaiting gun and drug charges. However, Epic CEO L.A. Reid defended the label for not bailing out their signee, telling the Rap Radar podcast (via Vibe) recently, "It made me feel like people don’t know anything about my business. It's really not their business. That's the truth about it. We're not elected officials here, and we’re not at liberty to disclose how we do business."

Reid admitted that "I'm crazy about that kid [Shmurda] and I think about him often," but the state of the music industry doesn't make it financially possible or practical for Epic to bail out the Shmoney Dance creator. "We seriously don't make the money we used to make. That's a fact of life," Reid said. "Bobby Shmurda is not the same as Snoop Dogg and Murder Was The Case, who's coming off The Chronic and his first album. It's a different era, ya know? And, we're a publicly held corporation. We just aren't in the same position we were in back in those days. So, it's a different day."

When Shmurda was first arrested in December 2014, the rapper revealed in a New York Times profile, "When I got locked up, I thought they were going to come for me, but they never came." The rapper's lawyer Matthew Middleton also blamed the label for not bailing out their artist, saying, "These companies for years have capitalized and made millions and millions of dollars from kids in the inner city portraying their plight to the rest of the world. To take advantage of that and exploit it from a business standpoint and then turn your back is disingenuous, to say the least."

Charges Dismissed Against McDonalds Cashier Who Claimed Self-Defense When Attacked By Two Customers

Rayon McIntosh

Today charges were dismissed against former McDonalds cashier, Rayon McIntosh, for hitting two aggressive customers with a cooking rod, after they slapped him across the face, hopped the restaurant's counter and threatened to repeatedly stab him (McDonalds Cashier Beats Customers With A Metal Rod For Slapping Him Across The Face).

7-weeks ago, the Judiciary Report labeled the incident as one that could be categorized in court as "self-defense." One week later, McIntosh's attorney entered a plea of "self-defense" on his behalf (McDonalds Cashier Accused Of Beating Two Violent Customers Claims Self-Defense In Court).

McIntosh was held for two months at Rikers Island prison in New York, but has been released this month, due to prosecutors dropping the charges, when the grand jury refused to indict. McIntosh stated he is elated to be released and is planning to sue the McDonalds restaurant in the Village, as he and other co-workers begged the owner of the franchise in question, Carmen Paulino, to get security, via off duty New York Police Department (NYPD) officers, but she refused, stating it is not in her "financial interest."

At the root of this issue is two overly aggressive customers that caused a world of trouble for McDonalds and their cashier that was undeserved. They knew better, as in all my years I have never seen anyone do such a thing at McDonalds or any other restaurant.

Former IMF Chief Accused Of Rape Is Living In Luxurious New York Apartment

Dominique Strauss-Kahn

Former IMF chief, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, who was arrested on rape charges last week, is now free on bail. However, he is on house arrest and has been fitted with a tracking device that is an ankle cuff, as apart of the terms of his release.

Strauss-Kahn, a resident of Paris, France and Washington, DC, is spending his time on house arrest at the luxury apartment building located at 71 Broadway in New York City. He is also paying for armed security at a cost of $200,000 per month, to satisfy the terms of his bail.

As the pictures in this article illustrate, Mr. Strauss-Kahn will be quite comfortable in his luxurious surroundings, but who could enjoy it with the weight of a possible prison sentence of significant time, hanging over one’s head. Still, it's better than Rikers.

Some residents are not happy about Strauss-Kahn living in the building, due to the presence of the press and the fact it has reportedly become a tourist attraction. Building managers are trying to reassure residents, but the reality of life at the building has changed, due to the unwelcome attention.

The Woman Dominique Strauss-Kahn Is Accused Of Raping Is Named In The European Press

The London Telegraph is reporting, the 32-year-old African maid that IMF chief, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, is accused of raping and sodomizing, has been named in the French press. Strauss-Kahn has denied raping her, stating the sex was consensual. The New York District Attorney disagrees and as such, the IMF chief is being held without bail, in New York's infamous Riker's Island Prison. The evidence against Strauss-Kahn does not look good. If DNA is successfully employed, coupled with his well-publicized past history, provided it is not disallowed by the judge, the case will result in a conviction.

Initially, it was reported the 32-year-old woman was from Ghana. Recent reports have since indicated, she is an immigrant from Guinea, who is the mother of a 14-year-old girl. It was only a matter of time before her identity was exposed. This has become one of the biggest stories in the world and bribes will be issued by news media in several nations for information on the alleged victim.

News coming out of France reveals outrage that Strauss-Kahn was perp walked and according to some, denied the presumption of innocence. It is being said, in France, the custom is for criminals to be perp walked after conviction in court. As a result, some believe Strauss-Kahn is being treated differently, as he is French.

People should bear in mind, Strauss-Kahn is one man and does not represent all of France and every Jewish person on the planet (the latter is being brought up as well). He is one individual and only represents himself.

Therefore, it is wrong for anyone to use this case, which hasn't even been tried, to slur nations and ethnic backgrounds. France is a wonderful country and there are many law abiding Jewish people all over the world that have not hurt a soul.

However, there is a bias in this - much of the handling of the Strauss-Kahn arrest, leads right back to the hurdles the U.S. government faced in the Roman Polanski case, where the director was accused of rape, fled, then dodged extradition, refusing to return to America. The U.S. government refused to allow Strauss-Kahn to return to France and denied him bail, due to how the Polanksi case unfolded. Different countries have different laws and each will act according to what they deem fit.

Why Didn't IMF Chief Cite Diplomatic Immunity

Dominique Strauss-Kahn (center) being perp walked in New York

IMF chief and politician, Dominique Strauss-Kahn, was arrested in New York, for raping a hotel Sofitel maid, in a case he did not cite diplomatic immunity, though it may have been available to him. Women from different walks of life have also accused him of sexually assaulting or harassing them in other incidents. A French lawmaker and separately Kahn's ex-wife's goddaughter, Tristane Banon, are among his accusers. Some find it hard to believe, women from different nations, with so much to lose, are conspiring to defame him.

Kahn's has also incriminated himself, as he fled his hotel suite after the alleged rape, leaving his mobile phone and other possessions behind, in order to catch the next flight out of the country to his destination. According to New York Assistant District Attorney, John A. McConnell, CCTV footage revealed Kahn to be "a man who was in a hurry" when he left the hotel.

He was hauled off the airplane in handcuffs, 10 minutes before take off and detained for a police line up, where his accuser positively identified him as her assailant. She was then escorted out of the police station under a blanket for privacy. To be clear, it is being reported, Kahn forced the Ghanaian immigrant, who worked as a hotel maid, to perform oral sex on him, then he anally raped her. Blood was found on the bed. Police extracted DNA from him and the alleged victim.

Kahn is being held at the notorious Riker's Island prison, on no bail, where ironically, some inmates would do to him, what he is accused of doing to the maid, had the police not placed him in solitary confinement in a small cell for his own protection. It's a far cry from what he is used to, living in mansions in Washington, DC and France, dining in the finest restaurants and staying at luxurious hotels.

Lil Wayne Prison Release Party At Strip Club

Lil Wayne

Rapper and drug addict, Lil Wayne, has been released from prison, after serving 8-months on Rikers Isle, regarding gun and drug charges. To celebrate, he is reportedly throwing himself a big bash at a Miami strip club.

Ironically, the terms of his probation for the next three years, demand he abstain from alcohol and drug use and not be present in circumstances the substances are found. He must submit to random drug testing as well.

Wow, a mainstream rapper staying off drugs and alcohol for three years that negro is going to be back in prison in no time flat. In short, Lil Wayne needs an extensive drug rehabilitation program to shake the vices of Hollywood that have placed him firmly into trouble, if he intends to eschew violating his probation. Stay away from the strip club.

Is Lil Wanye's Modesty Safe In Prison

Lil Wayne

Reports originally indicated the attorney for, Lil Wayne, requested the pint-sized rapper be placed in protective custody in the Riker's Island prison, where he currently bends sits on gun charges he was convicted of this month. However, some reports now claim he is in the general population, which is unwise.

Therefore, is Lil Wanye's modesty safe in prison. I wonder how many dudes are singing love songs to Lil Wayne in prison when the lights go down, scaring him through his cell. Is he safe in the shower? What will happen to him if he does accidentally drop the soap? Will he be cornered in the prison yard? Will his reputed connection to the Bloods street gang protect him or are they outnumbered?

And the moral of the story is, do not carry illegal guns. Leave the security up to the professional, licensed bodyguards. It is not worth your freedom...or modesty.

Lil Wayne Sentenced To 1-Year In Prison

"Video: Lil Wayne Sentenced to 1 Year"

Rapper Lil' Wayne has been sentenced to one year in prison on gun possession charges. The sentence was handed down in a New York courtroom, with many speculating he is headed to the notorious Riker's Island prison.

Lil' Wayne: my poor booty!

Lil Wayne's lawyer requested he be placed in protective custody, due to his high profile and the judge agreed. The Judiciary Report is not for special treatment of celebrities, but as stated on the site last week, in light of the fact Wayne is famous and allegedly affiliated with a dangerous street gang whose rivals are waiting on him, it is best that he be kept out of the general population in prison. Therefore, the Judiciary Report agrees with the judge's decision.

Not to mention, Wayne isn't exactly ripped like the Incredible Hulk/Madonna. How's he going to defend himself in the general population.

Lastly, he should look at this time of incarceration as a chance to detox from the multiple illegal narcotics he takes that could cause him to overdose one day.

For Lil Wayne, 3rd Time Is Not the Charm

March 8, 2010, 4:31 pm - As the rapper Lil Wayne made his final public appearance as a free man for at least the next eight months...

Court officers pushed people to the side to clear a path...When all was settled, Justice Solomon asked Lil Wayne if he had anything to say. The rapper simply shook his head no.

“That’s the sentence I’m imposing, one year,” Justice Solomon said...With good behavior, Lil Wayne, who will serve his sentence on Rikers Island, could be out in eight months.
