Duck Dynasty Is Back Jack

The Robertsons

The delightful Robertson family are back with season five of their very popular reality show "Duck Dynasty." The new season premiere featured a surprise wedding ceremony for Phil and Kay, who have been married for almost 50-years, which is amazing.

They had a beautiful ceremony to commemorate their love. They've had their ups and downs when they were younger and hey none of us are perfect, but it's great to see they've stuck together for so many years. Very admirable.

During the renewal of their vows, Miss Kay told her husband Phil "I'm not going anywhere" and "I will love you forever." That's so sweet. Phil responded he will be with her until they put him in the ground. That's beautiful. I think I'm gonna cry...

Side Bar: Since I've been watching the show, I've thought Jase's wife Missy looks like country music singer Faith Hill. During this episode, Missy sang beautifully.

Side Bar 2: Y'all know Miss Kay and Phil, who are in their sixties, are still doing it, right. I'm just saying. Seriously, it's beautiful when couples remain in love.

Duck Dynasty Cast Striking For Pay Increase

Jase, Si, Willie And Phil Robertson

Season four of the hit reality show "Duck Dynasty" is currently up in the air, as the cast is striking for a pay increase. The third season debut was viewed by over 8,500,000 people. The stars of the show, the Robertsons, want $200,000 per episode or they walk.

Considering there are over ten main family members featured on each episode, the money has to split between more leads than usual. As stated above, the show has brought in big ratings for A&E, resulting in great ad revenues. Therefore, they should pay the Robertsons more for giving the network their biggest hit ever. A&E please give the beards the bonus bucks. It's the best reality show on TV.

Duck Dynasty's Si Robertson Is Married And Here's His Wife (Photo)

Si Robertson and wife Christine Robertson (aww)

During the first two seasons of the reality show "Duck Dynasty" most viewers assumed the hilarious Si Robertson was a single man. However, on a recent episode of the late night talk show "Jimmy Kimmel" featuring Phil, Si, Jase And Willie Robertson, it was revealed Si has a wife.

On the new season of "Duck Dynasty" it was also stated Si has been happily married for over 40-years. This information was made public mostly likely due to the fact women started writing to Si proposing marriage (they know a good thing when they see it). However, this  confounded Si's brother Phil, who jokingly pretended no one in their right mind should want to marry his sibling.

So who is the brave lady that won Si's heart and can keep up with the Vietnam vet, who is full of colorful, funny stories and has driving skills that would scare NASCAR and Formula 1. Introducing Mrs. Christine Robertson. Living with Si must be a barrel of laughs.

Duck Dynasty Goes NASCAR In New Season Debut

Duck Dynasty

Saw the two new episodes of Duck Dynasty last night and they were funny. One episode featured race car driver, Clint Bowyer. Willie Robertson, also known as "Boss Hog" (see: "Dukes of Hazard") challenged him to a limo race. As was to be expected, Willie lost.

"Duck Dynasty" stars Sadie Robertson and her dad Willie Robertson

I only have one question for Willie, what were you thinking racing a race car driver. It would have taken Jesus for you to beat him. I believe in taking the high road in such a race (flatten the pro's tires and bam, easy win - kidding). However, Willie did find out something. A NASCAR endorsement featuring your company's brand on a race car will cost you $500,000 per race. In short, rednecks are getting paid...
