Heavy Public Criticism And Concern Over Chris Brown Stating He Lost His Virginity At Age 8

Chris Brown

The feedback sections of blog sites are displaying messages of concern over Chris Brown's claim he lost his virginity at age 8 to a 15-year-old girl. The public is stating he was "molested" and exploited, but does not realize it. Some are attributing the incident to issues he has experienced as an adult (and in the public eye). Some males see it as a rite of passage, but an 8-year-old having sex has to be a damaging experience in some form or another. Brown was taken advantage of in that situation.

The pattern repeated itself when at age 15, Brown moved in with his manager, a woman in her forties, with a number of websites alleging she initiated a sexual relationship with a then underage Brown. His's former manager Tina Davis denied the claim, but it still persists today. The average age of consent in America is 18-years-old. Usually, mothers fear leaving their underage daughters in the presence of older men.

However, women also need to be careful regarding leaving their sons with male or female strangers. Men such as movie producer Tyler Perry, also spoke of being sexually exploited as a minor, by an older woman and the damage it created during his teens and adulthood. Sex should always be between people of age, who can consent under the law.

Anonymous said... It WAS molestation.  It did not make him a beast. That would be an insult to all God's beasts upon this good Earth. It made him a monster. 10:26 AM

Anonymous said... He was molested. That explains alot. Men Always try to put a macho spin on it. 10:56 AM

Anonymous said... Maybe it's just me but at 8 years old sex was the last thing on my mind. And what 15 year old teenager has sex with an 8 year old child? That girl was a pedophile. As for Chris's parents they need to be slapped! Obviously he raised himself and his parents were nowhere around. What a sad sad shame. Babies should NOT be having sex. Imagine if he was a little older like 12 or something and he got a girl pregnant, would he be bragging then? This is a sick story ain't nothing cute about it 11:48 AM

Debbie L Childress · Ukiah High He didn't lose his virginity, He was molested!!!!

Porscha Allen · Waitress at Frisch's Big Boy. I agree, who ever had sex with him is a pedophile.

Amanda Hvostal · CCAC North - Exactly, even though the girl is fourteen, it still technically is true.

Amanda Hvostal · CCAC North Wow, this is what`s wrong with this country. Enough said. This is why watching porn doesn`t do men any favors. Good luck trying to actually have a functioning relationship with a woman. 8 years old and losing your virginity? WOW. Terrible role models he had growing up as a kid.

Guest - this is all gross and disturbing. ick ick.

melancholicmess - I think he's just saying all these things to get attention, sort of to distract people from what he did to Rihanna. However, if it were true, it could explain what how he got to where he is - emotionally damaged and psychologically disturbed.

Rheannon - Glad to see someone finally reporting this as this disturbing story it is. Yeah it may very well explain much of his attitude towards women, but doesn't make it ok. Guy needs therapy. If it were a woman talking about this at age 8 with a teenage boy it would be reported very differently.

Bad parenting - Posted at 9:38 PM on October 8, 2013 - Where the h*ll was MOMMA J when that thing happened?????? This is extremely disturbing!

Moni6626 - Posted at 2:53 PM on October 8, 2013 - He did not lose his v card at 8….he was molested at 8. A child cannot consent to sex at that age so it is rape. It’s sad and shocking. It’s even more disturbing that he thinks it’s okay.

Producers Deny Bobbi Kristina Brown Walked Off The Set Of New Sitcom

Bobbi Kristina Brown

Producers are disputing reports that Bobbi Kristina Brown, 19, walked off the set of the Tyler Perry sitcom "For Better Or Worse." Reports surfaced days ago claiming Brown had a meltdown and fled the set, because she could not keep up with the challenge of being an actress. However, subsequent reports state it is not true and the show had already wrapped for the season.

Bobbi Kristina Brown

Brown has been getting a taste of the annoying publicity that plagued her late mother, Whitney Houston, who died this year of a cocaine overdose. With the depression she is struggling with, regarding the grief accompanying her mother's death, such rumors regarding her acting abilities, did not help. Some in the press are using Brown to fill the gossip void left by her mother's passing.

Celluloid Film Review: Madea's Big Happy Family

Title: Madea's Big Happy Family

Year Of Release: 2011

Review Date: September 30, 2011

Rating: PG-13

Running time: 106 minutes

Box Office Gross: $53,345,287

Site Rating: 6 out of 10 stars

"Madea's Big Happy Family" is the story of Madea's big crazy family, struggling with various problems. Loretta Devine, stars as "Shirley" a family matriarch dying from cancer and wanting her family together for a nice meal together, where she can give them the bad news, after being given weeks to live.

However, Shirley's family, comprised of her adult children, have many problems that range from martial trouble to a past secret incident of molestation, resulting in each attempt at a dinner, descending into fights. This film is sad, but brings up topics people struggle with everyday.

While the Celluloid Film Review is no fan of LionsGate, the distributor of "Madea's Big Happy Family" due to the company's unethical conduct in a number of issues, which have ventured into unlawful territory, Perry has been taking a lot of undeserved flack for his work that has been labeled buffoonery. This was a good film and contrary to what some think, there are people in the black community like some of the characters therein that have been deemed "embarrassing." Why should they be underrepresented.

It reminds me of small controversies, regarding some Jewish people not liking the sitcom "The Nanny" due to the stereotypes it contained (but the funny character had a good, kind heart and was very giving) and some Anglo-Saxons being embarrassed by "Married With Children." Well, sorry white people, I can't help you with "Married With Children" but now you know how we (black people) feel when we see "Flavor Of Love."

"Fireproof" Movie Review

Title: Fireproof

Year Of Release: 2008

Review Date: June 31, 2010

Rating: PG

Running time: 122 minutes

Box Office Gross: $33,456,317

Site Rating: 5 out of 10 stars

"Fireproof" is a film starring former "Growing Pains" actor, turned evangelist, Kirk Cameron. His acting abilities are on full display in this movie, where he plays an over-worked fireman, struggling with a marriage that is in turmoil.

He and his wife argue constantly and are brought to the brink of divorce. His dad steps in with a 40 day program, in the hope of it turning their marriage around.

This was an entertaining film. Sadly, it bore distinct touches of Tyler Perry's preexisting hit sitcom "House Of Payne" which is also about a Christian firefighter, struggling with an estranged wife. The Celluloid Film Review is wondering if distributor, Sony Pictures, is to blame for the similarities, as it is their way.

Whitney Houston's Daughter A Solo Singer

Whitney Houston and daughter Bobbi Kristina

Whitney Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina, wants to become a singer, like her famous mom and dad, Bobby Brown. She previously recorded a song with her mother and grandmother, Cissy Houston that was released last year in a Tyler Perry film, but now wants to branch out on her own.

Oh, how time flies. It seems like just the other day she was a toddler. Now, she's 16-years-old. She is pretty and can sing. However, it is a very evil industry, so beware and be careful, young lady.

Whitney’s daughter wants singing career

‘I know she hates it, but it’s the plan,’ Bobbi Kristina told Oprah Winfrey. Whitney Houston’s daughter revealed that she’d like to follow in her mother and father’s footsteps by becoming a singer.

During Houston’s appearance on “The Oprah Winfrey Show,” Winfrey asked Bobbi Kristina, now 15, if she planned to pursue a singing career.

“Yeah,” the teen replied.

“I know she hates it, but it’s the plan,” Bobbi Kristina said. “It’s my plan. Mine. Yeah.”
