Second Fort Hood Army Base Shooting Highlights The Military's Need For Greater Mental Health Services

Ivan Lopez

Soldier Ivan Lopez opened fire at the Fort Hood military base in Texas on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 killing 3 people and wounding 16 before he turned the gun on himself and committed suicide. This is the second high profile killing spree at the army base. On November 5, 2009 military base psychiatrist, Nidal Hasan, killed 13 and wounded 30. He had been openly communicating with terrorists via email and did so by under the auspices of work related research. In actuality, terrorists had turned him.

Fort Hood

The horrors of combat and related injuries, have left many soldiers scarred. It is estimated 20 U.S. soldier commit suicide every day which is really regrettable. More needs to be done to help them. Many soldiers suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. There are available treatments, but it is a process requires work and commitment. To a person in despair, struggling to find hope, it may seem daunting, but getting assistance to recover is worth it.

Washington Navy Yard Killer More Proof That Schizophrenics Should Not Own Guns

An armed police office standards guard over the Washington Navy Yard after deadly shooting

34-year-old Navy Yard gunman Aaron Alexis was a schizophrenic man who shot and killed 12 people this week in Washington, D.C. and wounded others, before being shot and killed by police. The 12 people he killed were between the ages of 50-73. It is the second deadliest military base shooting, behind Fort Hood. Investigations into the incident reveal Alexis was mentally ill. He was officially diagnosed as schizophrenic, receiving treatment through the Navy.

Aaron Alexis

However, Alexis was able to purchase a 12-guage shot gun and ammunition for $540, in spite of background checks (much like the Virginia Tech mass shooting). Alexis also had a history of violence, regarding incidents that involved guns. What is even stranger is Alexis, with his mental history, has security clearance which granted him access to classified documents at the Department of Defense.

 Nidal Hasan

It is being reported Alexis was a "Thai speaking Buddhist" who was "not happy with America" struggling with money problems. Kristi Suthamtewkal, a friend of Alexis stated to NBC News, "He was tired of dealing with the government." She also stated, "I knew he was not happy with America and he felt slighted as a veteran and he was ready to move out of the country."

Fort Hood Killer Sentenced To Death Over Texas Military Base Killings

Nidal Hasan

Former army psychiatrist and secret jihadist, Nidal Hasan, has been found guilty of the cold-blooded murder of 13 people at the Fort Hood base. 30 additional people were wounded during the unconscionable surprise attack. Under Texas law, he has been given the death penalty for his crimes of mass murder. Hasan knew exactly what he was doing. This was no accident. He destroyed and altered the course of many lives. What Hasan has done hasn't proven anything.

Terrorist That Bombed Indian Hotel On U.S. Gov. Payroll

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

David Headley, the terrorist that bombed a Mumbai hotel, resulting in many casualties, was on the U.S. government's payroll, which has caused outrage in India. Many in India are not pleased with the FBI's handling of the case, which has created mistrust where the agency is concerned.

The FBI also blew tips on other terrorists attacks, where the agency was warned well in advance and did nothing, such as 9/11, 7/7, Fort Hood and Christmas 2009 in Detroit, Michigan.

The only thing consistent about the FBI is their failure rate, which does not justify the American taxpayer paying $8 billion per year and rising, for the agency's exorbitant, wasteful budget. Not only are they a danger to Americans, they have consistently failed the world as well.

U.S. Federal Government Stonewalls Congress

Nidal Malik Hasan

The U.S. Federal government is stonewalling Congress in the Fort Hood shooting again, via denying the Senate access to investigative files, revealing deficiencies in the procedures that permitted the terrible shooting spree to transpire at an American army base. Considering the Senate is higher in rank than the Pentagon and FBI, this misconduct is very bumptious. What ever happened to public accountability.

FBI Had Chance To Prevent Pentagon Shooting

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

Reports are surfacing the FBI had an opportunity to prevent the Pentagon shooting that transpired a few days ago, which left two security guards wounded and the gun man, John Bedell dead.

His family reported him to the FBI due to the terrible threats he was making, but the Bureau ignored them, not recording the information.

Once again, as was the case with September 11th, Fort Hood, the 2009 Christmas Day bombing attempt in Detroit and the George Tiller murder, the FBI knew in advance, had chances to prevent it, but willfully did nothing.

Pentagon Shooter, John Bedell III, Could Have Been Stopped by FBI...! {VIDEO}

March 06, 2010 02:29 PM EST - John Bedell III, in his 30’s, was an anti-government person. Bedell ranted and raved against the US government, claiming that the United States government was responsible for the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, on September 11, 2001. John Bedell chose the internet as his source of communication about his US conspiracy theories.

John Bedell’s parents had reported their son missing back in the month of January, and his parents were concerned about Bedell’s mental state. However, once John Bedell returned home, law enforcement dropped the search for Bedell and turned the investigation of the acts of Bedell over to the FBI. However, the FBI shows no file that John Bedell was ever under investigation...

FBI Has Computer Equipment But No Hard Drive

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

Today, on its website, the FBI has once again bragged that is has "cutting edge" technology via "sleeping computers" that calculate crime related data, while analysts are away on vacation.

All good and fine, but at the end of the day, what good is it to have said equipment, yet fail to interpret simple intelligence data you had in your possession that could have prevented the September 11th terrorist attacks, the Fort Hood massacre and the Detroit Christmas Day bombing attempt, which was diffused by a civilian passenger on vacation.

The agency has an annual $8 billion dollar budget...and no real results, mostly death and failure, paid for in blood by innocent civilians and 13 Army personnel.

I.G. Confirms FBI Broke The Law

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

The U.S. Inspector General confirmed today in his 306 page report, the FBI has broken the law in illegally collecting telephone records in a manner not allowed via existing tools, such as "exigent letters" by inventing fake emergencies that did not exist.

The FBI lied today stating they violated the privacy of many innocent Americans to prevent acts of terrorism, but as the world knows, Fort Hood happened, as did the attempted bombing of a Christmas Day NWA flight in Detroit, which left a few passengers with second and third degree burns. The only thing the FBI has prevented is people from having privacy.

FBI Invoked ‘Emergencies’ To Gather U.S. Phone Records

According to the Post, among those who raised concerns internally was FBI Special Agent Bassem Youssef, supervisor of the communications analysis unit that dealt with the records. Youssef brought the matter to the attention of his superiors in 2005, after he received complaints from phone companies about the FBI’s failure to provide documentation showing the searches were legal, the newspaper said.

Youssef earlier had “fallen out of favor with FBI management” because he filed a whistleblower claim alleging he had been denied promotion and retaliated against because of his ethnicity, the Post reported.

Fort Hood Failures Explored

Nidal Malik Hasan

The U.S. Government is currently conducting an investigation into the law enforcement failures that led to 13 people being murdered at the Fort Hood army base, by Islamic radical, Nidal Malik Hasan.

Thus far, the public knows, the incompetent Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) did not correctly interpret the emails they had in their possession, revealing U.S. Major Nidal Malik Hasan had become a radicalized time bomb.

Hasan was enquiring with one of the world's most vicious hatemongers, Anwar Awlaki, on violence against American civilians and soldiers, yet the FBI didn't piece that transparent little puzzle together and bring him in. The unedited emails need to be released to the public.

It is also being stated via additional findings, several army member failed report Hasan's disturbing statements, such as comparing suicide bombers to heroes.

Some in Washington have tried to push the excuse that everyone in government is responsible, to shield the negligent from blame and job termination. However, it is highly irresponsible. The FBI is the agency most to blame, as they had disturbing, extremist emails by Hasan, in their possession for well over 6 months and did nothing about it.

The FBI is America's first line of defense against terrorists and leaving the same individuals in their posts that allowed this devastating tragedy via criminal negligence, is inviting future failures of the same order that could cost more innocent people their lives. The FBI is not up to the task at hand.

Fort Hood Shooting Report: Warning Signs Were 'Missed' and 'Ignored'

Eight Officers Could Be Disciplined; Gates Calls Failures 'Significant' - Jan. 15, 2010 - The Pentagon gave itself a harsh assessment in the aftermath of the Fort Hood shootings, and could pursue disciplinary action against several officers who "failed to comply" with policies in place to get rid of officers who were unfit.

In an 86-page report released Friday, Defense Department investigators determined that the procedures in place meant to head off violent behavior are "outdated" and "incomplete."

The review commissioned by Defense Secretary Robert Gates called the failures "significant" and "in need of immediate attention."...

FBI Unsuccessfully Attempts To Defend Its Failures

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

The FBI recently posted a long-winded, rambling press release to its website, attempting to defend its many failures. None of the excuses for their preventable failures cut it.

For the life of me, I can't understand why anyone would want to join the FBI after all that's been revealed about them. The Federal Bureau of Investigation has such a dirty legacy, from killing Martin Luther King Jr., via a police officer commissioned to murder the famed civil rights leader in cold blood, to modern day atrocities, like stonewalling investigations into suspected terrorists that went on to viciously murder 3,000 people on September 11th. The constant theme regarding the FBI's fatal failures is - "They had the intel, but didn't connect the dots."

Then, there's the 13 preventable murders that occurred at Fort Hood and the many other incidents of impropriety and ignorance that cost innocent people their lives or health. What's there to be proud of.

What's worse is there is so much more they are hiding from the public, regarding the atrocities they've committed, that make no mistake, will become public knowledge. I had never seen such evil in all my life, until I started covering the FBI for the Judiciary Report and the Sound Off Column.

I can only imagine this must have been what the Jews felt like when the SS was going full speed with their madness, doing any treachery that came to their warped minds, without any real government accountability. Let's face it - the FBI has participated in renditions, abusive interrogations, invasiveness and threats, sometimes aimed at innocent people, in conduct that crossed the line into unlawfulness.

But even the SS faced their day of reckoning and were disbanded - so will the FBI. It's only a matter of time. So, you can continue with the corruption (sarcasm)...you will live in infamy forever for it.

Op-Ed on FBI’s Post-9/11 Counterterrorism Efforts

January 12, 2010 - The following op-ed, published on January 11, 2010 in The New York Post, was written by former FBI Assistant Director James Kallstrom. Kallstrom, who is currently a member of the FBI Director’s Advisory Group, was also director of the New York Homeland Security Agency.

Ever since 9/11, critics have suggested that the FBI isn't up to its task as our nation's lead counterterrorism agency.

Yet, as the nation focused on the failures of the intelligence community in the Christmas Day bombing attempt over Detroit, last Friday saw two more arrests in the ongoing FBI investigation of a plot to bomb New York City first exposed by the September arrest of Najibullah Zazi.

It's easy to stand on the periphery, without the benefit of real-world experience, and render judgments with the benefit of hindsight. But counterterrorism cases are extremely complex and often require a relatively quick series of judgments, often with incomplete information. Counterterror investigations and intelligence gathering aren't black and white, simple, or easy.

America went on a war footing against terrorism only after 9/11. Before then, our government viewed international terrorism strictly as a law-enforcement matter, giving the FBI the responsibility to address it. In that period, the FBI had significant accomplishments, including the apprehension of the 1993 World Trade Center bombers within six days; preventing attacks on New York's most important landmarks with the arrest and conviction of the "Blind Sheik;" sending agents in 1998 to East Africa, where they quickly solved the two US embassy bombing cases without the assets normally available to investigators in America; and, in 2000, dispatching agents after the USS Cole bombing to Yemen, where they determined that al Qaeda terrorists had carried out the bombing. During this period, the Justice Department severely and unnecessarily restricted the FBI's ability to share intelligence information, and Congress acted haltingly to properly resource, fund and provide the legal framework for the FBI's counterterrorism program, including new technology required to defend the nation.

Post-9/11, as al Qaeda and other Muslim extremist groups have demonstrated their obsession with radicalizing U.S. Muslims, the FBI has disrupted a number of plots.

While some claim that collecting and analyzing intelligence is a new phenomenon in the FBI culture, in fact, the FBI's intelligence and counterintelligence mission began before World War II and predates the creation of the fabled OSS and the CIA. Indeed, the FBI has long honed the skills and techniques necessary for success in protecting against international terrorism—using informants, undercover operations, and court-ordered electronic surveillance. Historically, the FBI has collected and analyzed information, whether the threat was the Soviet Union, domestic terrorist groups like the Klu Klux Klan, or organized crime.

Yet such critics as Gabriel Schoenfeld (in his Dec. 4 Post op-ed, "The FBI Bungles on Terror Again") assert, "It's high time to look at creating a new and separate domestic counterterrorism…agency along the lines of Great Britain's MI5."

In evaluating this naive and discredited suggestion, we need to consider the following:

* Americans have rejected the notion of a national police force for over 200 years. The FBI was not established as a law-enforcement agency until 1933, precisely because the republic wanted to limit the authority of those whom protect our civil liberties.

* The FBI is designed to be as transparent as possible for the purpose of protecting the nation, as well as the rights and liberties enshrined in the Constitution. The oversight provided by Congress, the courts, and others have ensured the FBI did not evolve into a secret police force operating in the "Perpetual Black."

*While England's MI-5 might be viewed as a panacea, it needs to be examined in light of the long, painful history of its operations in Northern Ireland. Moreover, MI-5 didn't protect England from the London Subway bombings and other acts of terrorism.

*It would be difficult, if not impossible, for a myriad of state, local, and federal law-enforcement officials to have effective liaison with a secret domestic police operation.

*A painful lesson learned from 9/11 is that the bifurcation of our intelligence and law-enforcement competencies leads to "stove piping" of information—a formula for disaster. Creating a separate secret-police organization would revive that failed model—weakening and balkanizing the law-enforcement and intelligence communities, rather than creating a united, seamless effort.

*While many terrorism and legal experts have weighed in, the most qualified critics are the Brits themselves. If fact, many senior British law-enforcement officials criticize the MI-5 model and prefer the FBI's dual criminal and intelligence/terrorism roles.

This isn't to say the FBI can't do a better job integrating these disciplines and more broadly coordinating within the larger intelligence and law enforcement communities. Yet the fact these structures don't always perform seamlessly doesn't suggest the current process is dysfunctional.

Having devoted a considerable amount of my life in the "arena," I am confident the dedicated men and women of the FBI will continue to perform at a very high professional level to protect this great nation, while adhering to constitutional principles and the rule of law.

Robert S. Mueller's Criminal Negligence

Mueller's Body Count

Robert S. Mueller

The signs are there a crazy man is in charge of the FBI. That man is Robert S. Mueller. Had President Obama fired Mueller when he took office and replaced him with a capable, competent FBI Director, who can interpret intelligence data and connect the dots, the 13 soldiers at Fort Hood would be alive today.

Mueller's tenure is slated to last until September 2011. That's roughly another year and a half for him to jeopardize the lives of countless more innocent people with his criminal negligence and incompetence. 3,000 people died during 9/11 on Mueller's watch and 13 more at Fort Hood, when the FBI had the data in their possession to stop both attacks. Knowing that devil, who knows what's next regarding his famed criminal negligence and the dots he has failed to connect, which the public currently doesn't know about.

Obama's Intel Battle

President Obama

Obama is facing a law enforcement intel battle, in the wake of Fort Hood and the attempted Christmas Day bombing of a Detroit airplane. Numerous national security flaws have been revealed over the past two months, mainly at the FBI, headed up by Robert S. Mueller.

A few months ago, prior to these aforementioned incidents, President Obama commended Mueller during a press conference, which drew sharp criticism in the New York Times, due to said FBI Director's disgraceful track record of abject failure, based in criminal negligence and squandering hundreds of millions of dollars in taxpayer money.

However, Obama took a massive risk in placing so much confidence in duplicitous, racist Mueller, who is known in legal circles for retaliating against minorities and foreigners, who dare to speak out in Congress, print or online, regarding his misconduct that violates the law. Mueller is an evil, vengeful man willing to misuse U.S. law to get at innocent people.

The fact of the matter is, Mueller is a Republican, who could care less if Obama, a Democrat, is not reelected in 2012. Actually, it is in fact the outcome he desires. Talk about a conflict of interest.

The Judiciary Report's words are proving true, via the October 21, 2009 in the article "New York Times Slams Obama Praise For FBI" published prior to Fort Hood and the attempted Detroit airplane bombing, regarding Obama's confidence in corrupt Mueller:

"Mr. Obama should be careful in his dealings with Mr. Mueller. He and others routinely provided former President George W. Bush with illegally obtained information and a very false sense of security, whilst engaging in wrongdoing and telling the world, 'Trust me, I'm the President.' Where did that get George W. Bush? He is now ensconced in the anus, excuse me, annals of world history as the worst president ever. When you stand with criminals, you will fall with them as well."

U.S. Terrorist Lists In Terrible State Of Disarray

Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab

The Judiciary Report, like many other members of the public, struggles to comprehend how a terror suspect, Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, can be on a terrorist watch list, but be conspicuously absent from a no fly list.

His father, Alhaji Mutallab, a high ranking Nigerian government minister and former head of a bank, proclaimed his son a danger to America, as he had become radicalized, formally reported it to the U.S. Embassy and they clearly ignored it.

A man of his stature, a decorated civil servant, reports his own son and you didn't put him on the no fly list. He specifically warned you his son posed a danger to America. How much more specific did you want the warning to be, in order for you to do something about it. Do you know how much it takes for a parent to turn in a child, yet you took it lightly.

Alhaji Mutallab

Clearly Britain thought something was amiss regarding, Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, as they refused to renew his Visa, banning him from the country. Yet the U.S. government allowed him to fly to America on a U.S. Visa.

Once again, as with Fort Hood, people cannot blame the FBI/DOJ, for the things they do not know, but people can blame them for what they do know and they knew about Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, having been given ample warning six months in advance.

FBI And Homeland Security Terrorist Lists

For many months, the Judiciary Report has criticized the haphazard manner in which the FBI and Homeland Security have compiled and poorly maintained the terrorist lists. The most recent article was on August 17, 2009, where the Judiciary Report warned again four months ago:

...Once again, the FBI and Homeland Security face severe embarrassment over a poorly compiled terrorist watch list that at one point even contained the name of U.S. Senator, Ted Kennedy.

It is an embarrassment to national security that these errors by federal law enforcement continue, as it is logical to reason, if the wrong names are getting on the list, senselessly clogging it up, intel is poor and the right names, the real terrorists, are not getting on the list in a timely manner.

The FBI and co. have disorganized, generalized, unfocused terrorist lists, which have not been optimized, as it even famously contains the names of babies and spouses of U.S. Senators. The list even had the name of the late Senator Ted Kennedy, who was hassled on five occasions when he tried to board airplanes.

Think about that. Senator Ted Kennedy was on a terrorist no fly list, but Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab was not. Clearly the lists are garbage.

Warning Signs Ignored

6 days prior to the NWA-Delta attempted bombing on Christmas Day, Al Qaeda released another message, warning of a forthcoming bombing. The U.S. Government ignored it.

This terrorist thing is above the FBI's head. It's not that the terrorists are smarter, because they are not, but the FBI is mismanaged and buried in bureaucracy. The FBI needs to be replaced with a new national law enforcement agency that can defeat the problems facing America. They are not up to the challenge and something very bad is going to come out of it.

Homeland Security

Is the head of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, in denial or just not able to connect the dots when a crisis arises. She's had one PR flap after another this year and now states she believes Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab acted alone. Yet, passengers from the NWA-Delta flight, are now stating, a man who appeared to be in his 50s attempted to get the terrorist suspect on the plane in Amsterdam with no passport, doing all the talking for him.

Uninvestigated terrorism warning about Detroit suspect called not unusual

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told CNN's "State of the Union" that Abdulmutallab's assertions of al-Qaeda contacts and training in Yemen were being investigated, but that "right now, we have no indication" his actions were "part of anything larger."

http://www.washingtonpost.com

The FBI was making the same lone wolf claims as well, when Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab's dad warned he had disappeared in Yemen, a known terrorist hot bed, used to train radicalized Muslim men:

Attempted airplane bomber might have acted alone: FBI

2009-12-27 04:19:56 - WASHINGTON, Dec. 26 (Xinhua) -- A Nigerian who attempted to set off an explosion device on a Delta international flight might have acted alone, said a Federal Bureau of Investigation official on Saturday.

The official, who spoke on anonymity, told CNN that the suspect, who was identified as Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, 23, has been "talking a lot" to FBI investigators...

Anwar al Awlaki

In some ways it is regrettable Anwar al Awlaki was reportedly killed without being interrogated. A great deal of information could have been obtained, as he clearly knows items relating to the inner workings of today's most devious terrorist cells.

The man had a Facebook page. The government should have traced the source updating it, which would have led to Awlaki and brought him in. He's had a hand in so much terrorism, almost eclipsing Osama in what he represents to Jihadists, yet he was never detained.

American law needs to be changed, as radicalized individuals are calling for Jihad in the United States, with no legal penalty. If calling for Jihad was made illegal in America, law enforcement could easily pick up certain individuals and interrogate them regarding what they know, leading to better intel. Calling for murder is not freedom of speech. That's a death threat.

Britain

U.S. President Barack Obama and British Prime Minister Gordon Brown

The Judiciary Report, like other sites, has expressed in past articles, the serious threat radicalized Muslims pose. They gravitate to Britain, as the nation is quite civil, has many human rights and is a pretty place to live, where one can easily get financial assistance from the government in the form of benefits.

Muslim extremists have taken advantage of that and set up shop in Britain, whose efforts to make different cultures feel welcome, is being exploited by criminals abusing the system to wage Jihad.

Britain has made good strides in deporting those in their midst that call for Jihad, but there is still an element there, subversively indoctrinating university students and disadvantaged youth, who are at a critical, young age and seeking direction.

Here's hoping the British government will ramp up efforts to plant undercover officers in universities, to smoke out such threats, as they pose a great danger to your innocent children seeking to get an education. Britain must fight to keep its identity and shores safe.

Obama Orders Review of Airport Screening

Face the Nation: Spokesman Robert Gibbs Says Obama Wants Review of Watch List Procedures and Detection Capabilities

President Obama has called for a review of watch lists and screening procedures at airports in the wake of attempted terrorist attack to blow up a Delta/Northwest flight on Christmas Day, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said on CBS' "Face The Nation" on Sunday.

"The president has asked for two reviews to take place as a result of this potential terrorist attack," Gibbs said. "The first is a watch listing review… so we want to ensure that all of the information that needs to go to decision makers gets to where it needs to go. The president has asked for a review of the procedures that in some cases are several years old."

Gibbs also said the suspect was on a list of 550,000 people rather than the selectee or the no-fly lists, which encompass about 18,000 people. Gibbs said although the suspect, Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, was on the larger list, there was not enough information to put him on the smaller lists.

Jet Bomb Ordered By 9/11 Spiritual Leader

Sunday December 27,2009 - AN AL QAEDA commander whose messages have been promoted at British mosques and universities was last night named as the inspiration for the Friday’s failed US bomb plot.

Yemen-based cleric Anwar al Awlaki, a spiritual leader of the 9/11 hijackers and of Fort Hood gunman Major Nidal Hasan, was said to be the man who demanded the attack on the Detroit-bound jet.

Senior Republican congressman Pete Hoekstra said that according to his US intelligence sources, Awlaki and the failed bomber, University College London student Umar Abdulmutallab, had been in touch with each before Friday’s flight.

The 38-year-old cleric is believed to have been the target of a US-backed Yemeni air strike last week. Security sources believe the military assault was launched after American, Yemeni and Saudi intelligence services discovered major terror plots against Western targets.

Initial reports suggested that Awlaki and dozens of other Al Qaeda operatives were killed, but his allies claim he survived.

If his links to the Northwest Airlines bomb are confirmed, it will again expose the increasing threat of radicalisation on Britain’s university campuses.

Although an inspiration for mass murder, the American born imam is a hero to Islamic student societies throughout Britain.

He is invited regularly to send video messages to students who believe he is a devout man of peace...

"Al Qaeda Link In Foiled Terrorist Plot"

U.S. President Barack Obama

The United States Congress is calling for hearings into the attempted bombing of an NWA airlines flight on Christmas Day, as it landed in Detroit, Michigan in America.

This winter, terrorists have ramped up their efforts against America, in deeds such as the aforementioned, Fort Hood and an attempt in Queens, New York. Something is clearly going on, creating these incidents in such close proximity to each other. It lends the appearance they are in a mad rush to bomb this nation.

Video: AP Sources: Al-Qaida Link in Failed Plane Attack - The Associated Press

Some U.S. law enforcement officials are doing damage control regarding the NWA flight, in attempting to play down the terrorist's ties to Al Qaeda, but if he is an insignificant rogue figure, merely inspired by the aforementioned terrorist faction, why was he in the United States government's watch list, on a database, as someone with terrorist ties. Said officials are contradicting themselves.

Furthermore, based on reports, the bomb he smuggled on the flight undetected, then assembled, seemed quite "sophisticated." Then there is the obvious fact he was able to get through various international security checkpoints undetected. How was he able to foil national security for three nations. That level of security breach hardly seems something a 23-year-old student could accomplish on his own with no help from experienced terrorists.

30 Al Qaeda Members Presumed Killed

Anwar al-Awlaki

An air strike in Yemen has reportedly killed 30 Al Qaeda members, including troublemaking imam, Anwar al-Awlaki, who influenced some of the September 11th bombers and Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Malik Hasan.

Terrorism is not of Christ and many have been led astray, in the misguided and erroneous belief suicide bombings will lead to paradise. It does not. These acts of terror need to desist, as Christ, the only true Savior, does not approve.

Airstrike in Yemen Targets Outspoken Radicals

December 24, 2009, 1:48 pm - Yemeni fighter jets carried out an airstrike targeting “a meeting of senior Al Qaeda operatives” on Thursday in southeastern Yemen, according to the country’s government.

On Wednesday Al Jazeera published an interview with Anwar al-Awlaki, a Yemeni-American cleric who corresponded with Maj. Nidal Hassan before the shooting rampage at Fort Hood. On Wednesday Al Jazeera published an interview with Anwar al-Awlaki, a Yemeni-American cleric who corresponded with Maj. Nidal Hassan before the shooting rampage at Fort Hood.

In a statement on the raid sent to reporters from Yemen’s embassy in Washington, the government said that Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born radical cleric in Yemen who counseled the suspected Fort Hood gunman, was among those “presumed to be at the site” of the predawn raid...

Why Do Airstrikes in Afghanistan Keep Killing Exactly 30 People?

December 11, 2009 - On Monday, the anonymous blogger Security Crank noticed something interesting: all the U.S. and NATO airstrikes in Afghanistan seemingly kill exactly 30 people every time. How can that be?

Security Crank documented no less than 12 occasions in which news reports, relying on field commanders' estimates, noted that exactly 30 suspected Taliban were killed in airstrikes and, occasionally, artillery attacks. He said:

But the much more important point remains: how could we possibly have any idea how the war is going, here or anywhere else, when the bad guys seem only to die in groups of 30? The sheer ubiquity of that number in fatality and casualty counts is astounding, to the point where I don’t even pay attention to a story anymore when they use that magic number 30. It is an indicator either of ignorance or deliberate spin… but no matter the case, whenever you see the number 30 used in reference to the Taliban, you should probably close the tab and move onto something else, because you just won’t get a good sense of what happened there...

Fort Hood Shooter Asked About Killing Americans

Nidal Malik Hasan

File this one under more clues the FBI inexplicably did not perceive as a threat. It has been revealed in the press, Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Malik Hasan, inquired in an email about "killing Americans" prior to the shooting at the aforementioned base, which claimed 13 lives and wounded 38.

Yet the FBI, run by Barney Fife Robert S. Mueller, had the emails in their possession since December 2008, but amazingly did not interpret all these warning signs as a threat.

Report: Hasan asked about killing troops in ’08

Cleric says alleged Fort Hood shooter inquired whether it would be ‘lawful’

A radical Muslim cleric claims Army psychiatrist Maj. Nidal Hasan asked him about killing American soldiers nearly a year before Hasan allegedly shot to death 13 fellow soldiers at Fort Hood.

In an interview Wednesday with the Arabic-language news network Al-Jazeera, Anwar al-Awlaki, considered a key recruiter for al-Qaida, said Hasan asked him in a December 2008 e-mail "whether killing American soldiers and officers is lawful or not" under Islamic law.

In the interview, Al-Awlaki then appears to taunt U.S. intelligence and security, saying, "I wonder where were the American security forces that one day claimed they can read the numbers of any license plate, anywhere in the world, from space."...

FBI Orders Fort Hood Investigation

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

The FBI has ordered an independent review of the Fort Hood shooting, in light of their terrible, preventable failures as a law enforcement agency, as they had the alleged killer under surveillance for a year prior to the shooting.

The FBI showed itself to be very criminally negligent and quite gullible for believing, Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Malik Hasan, was just doing research, via contacting a violent imam, via email and stating his considerable salary from the U.S. military makes him an asset.

So, you mean to tell me, if a journalist or blogger communicated with violent terrorist, Osama Bin Laden, via email, claiming it was for "research purposes" as Hasan did regarding the imam, the FBI would wave that through as acceptable.

It that why the "I" in F.B.I. (Federal Bureau Of Investigation) does not stand for "Intelligence" like in the C.I.A (Central Intelligence Agency). For the past year, I've devised another acronym for the letters F.B.I. due to this case, but I'll be nice and not hurt their feelings tonight in saying what.

FBI director appoints judge to review lead up to Fort Hood attack

Tuesday, December 8, 2009; 12:16 PM - FBI Director Robert S. Mueller III has asked former director and retired federal judge William H. Webster to conduct an independent review of the bureau's actions in advance of last month's deadly shootings at Fort Hood, Tex., according to government officials familiar with the move.

This is the first indication that FBI officials are sufficiently concerned about bureau actions in the case that they would order an independent investigation. The Department of Defense already has ordered an inquiry into its handling of the matter.

Webster has been named to put "a second set of eyes" on the policies, procedures and actions pursued by two Joint Terrorism Task Forces in San Diego and Washington that reviewed e-mail messages between accused shooter Maj. Nidal M. Hasan and a radical Yemeni American cleric Anwar al-Aulaqi, the sources said, speaking anonymously because they were not authorized to discuss the situation...

New York Post: The FBI Is Incompetent

FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

The New York Post ripped the FBI to shreds, for their national security failings, in a scathing editorial published today. The Post cited the current state of disarray the FBI exists under and how it has proven lethal to the American people.

The Judiciary Report has stated repeatedly the FBI needs to be closed with Congress starting a new agency. The New York Post delivered their opinion as well, stating the FBI should not be in charge of terrorism matters, citing numerous incidents of preventable failures that left innocent people dead. The Post wants a new anti-terrorism agency as well, replacing the FBI.

With FBI HQ, it's about pride and ego. They'd rather innocent people die in terrorist and criminal acts than admit they are in over their heads.

These terrorists are driven, maddened and bloodthirsty. The FBI in its current state is no match for that extremism, as they have shown, via numerous failures that cost civilians their lives. They are also failing on the national front via numerous child abduction cases, ponzi schemes allowed to run to extremes and white collar crimes currently gripping the nation.

FBI Caught Lying In The Hal Turner Case

Hal Turner

The FBI has been caught in a blatant lie, due to the fact, months ago, they played down their involvement with white supremacist blogger, Hal Turner, who was arrested for calling for the death of three judges (no, not the ones on American Idol - real judges with actual intelligence). Why doesn't the FBI ever stop to think of the end result of their conduct, when it is later exposed, as it kills their credibility all over again.

Court documents now reveal Turner was considered very reliable and useful to the FBI, in their harebrained schemes, calling for violence against judges, congress people and other public figures, granting them leeway to investigate crimes. It is a dangerous practice.

The FBI referred to Turner in their memos as, "Highly reliable and is in a unique position to provide vital information on multiple subversive domestic organizations...statistical accomplishments include over 100 subjects identified, over 10 acts of violence prevented and multiple subjects arrested."

FBI Director Robert Mueller

I find it very disturbing the FBI is willing to lie at the drop of a hat and employ questionable sources to gain completion of their objectives. This layer of deceit has been employed against the American people and the very U.S. Congress, time and time again, to disastrous results, in bids at meeting arrest quotas the agency set.

It's a complete mind scramble that a law enforcement agency, routinely endangers the lives of innocent people - even other members of government. The public saw it with the 9/11 bombings, 7/11 terrorist attacks in London and Fort Hood.

That's no way to run a law enforcement agency. That's how you get innocent people killed. The head of the FBI, Robert Mueller, is a loon to engage in this madness that is so brazenly endangering the public.

Records show relationship between New Jersey blogger, FBI

November 29, 2009, 1:38PM - TRENTON — Despite downplaying his importance, federal officials apparently made frequent use of a New Jersey blogger in their battle against domestic terrorism.

The Record of Bergen County reviewed numerous government documents, e-mails, court records and almost 20 hours of jailhouse interviews with Hal Turner, who faces trial this week on charges he made death threats against three Chicago-based federal appeals judges.

The newspaper reported today that Turner received thousands of dollars from the FBI to report on neo-Nazis and white supremacist groups and was sent undercover to Brazil. Turner also claims the FBI coached him to make racist, anti-Semitic and other threatening statements on his radio show.

Fort Hood Suspect Mulling Insanity Plea

Nidal Malik Hasan, the suspected Fort Hood shooter, that claimed the lives of 13 people and wounded 48 others, is currently mulling an insanity plea. I do not think his request in this regard should be granted. He should not be allowed to plead insanity. He should plead evil, as that is what led him to destroy innocent lives.

He opened fire on unsuspecting people that trusted him, who were seeking help for their depression and others working in a place they thought they were safe. They didn't deserve to violently die in this manner and as such, the plea should be denied, as his deeds are acts of Jihad.
