According to a recent report, U.S. President Barack Obama, is more unpopular in the Middle East, than former Commander-in-Chief, George W. Bush. With the ongoing wars in the Middle East that Obama has not stopped, going even further in starting a new war in the African nation of Libya, illegally ousting its Muslim head of state and killing members of his family in air raids, it is clear the president has offended Arabs in the region. Considering the sheer hostility and anger towards Bush in the Middle East, for Obama to have topped that is not a good thing.

Remember back at the dawn of his presidency, how President Obama flew off to Cairo to speechify about "his personal commitment to engagement, based upon mutual interests and mutual respect" (in the words of then-spokesman Robert Gibbs)? Rick Ross Sued For Stealing Name And Image

Miami rapper, Rick Ross, has been sued by notorious drug dealer, incarcerated felon, "Freeway" Ricky Ross. The Miami MC famously took the drug dealer's name, image and likeness and used it to launch a fairly successful rap career.

The only problem for the rapper is in America there is such a thing as image rights. "Freeway" Ricky Ross is entitled to what is known as the Right Of Publicity, meaning he and only he, has the right to profit from his name and image. When he has passed, that right goes to his heirs.

To use his real life image as a persona for a rap career and credibility, is a violation of his legal rights. You are an impersonator, pretending to be the real thing and in music that defeats the purpose of having credibility. As such, the cocaine trafficker has sued the Miami rapper.

Thus far, Judge Percy Anderson, has not granted an injunction barring the release of Ross' forthcoming album, but under the law, he owes the felon financial damages and should cease and desist exploiting his name and image for financial gain.

Under the circumstances, you cannot take someone's name and image and turn it into entertainment for profit. You are infringing on their life, which is illegal.

The damages are multiplied, as you are disseminating this work and persona not your own, all over the world, violating international image laws as well.

Side Bar: "Freeway" Ricky Ross appeared in the eye-opening documentary "American Drug War." He spoke about the CIA and Oliver North, as did numerous other individuals, from drug dealers to former DEA agents.

I still have not gotten over that documentary. It's pretty messed up when you find out the CIA flooded the streets of Compton, California with drugs they imported into America.

Obama Reneged

U.S. President Barack Obama has reneged on his campaign promise of removing troops from the Middle Eastern countries of Iraq and Afghanistan, instead deciding to send tens of thousands more to the latter, to fight an illegal, unpopular war the populace does not want. But the question is why.

You are taking a dire path that you have not justified to the American people or to the world. Why the change of heart and on something so important. Withdrawing U.S. troops from Afghanistan two years from now, under the false assumption you will have won, will not make any positive impact on the insurgent or terrorist mindset.

The day you leave, all you will claim to have accomplished, shall be overturned again, to reflect what certain "powers that be" in the region desire. Furthermore, the Middle East in not a U.S. territory. You have no legal authority to occupy it. Therefore, these increased military measures are in vain and shall cost many soldiers and civilians their lives.

Tony Blair Testifies In Iraq Inquiry

Former British Prime Minister, Tony Blair, testified today in a very sad hearing held in London, before the Iraq Inquiry Commission. One got the impression he knew more than he was saying. The question is, why an intelligent man let himself get swept up in this evil. Why did he go along with this, knowing what he knew - items the world was not privy to when a case was being made for the war.

Blair express no remorse for getting Britain into the Iraq war, which was based on faulty intelligence, trumped up by the Bush Administration. Blair needs to show some contrition, as many have died. His reasoning is former Iraqi Prime Minister Saddam Hussein was an evil man. This is true, but the war was waged under false pretenses.

Bush and co. invoked an international emergency, citing Weapons of Mass Destruction posing a threat to humanity, as the grounds to illegally invade another nation, murder its leader and topple the government. This was patently wrong and evil, as there was no emergency, no WMDs and no lawful basis for the attack.

The Bush Administration had no legal mandate to invade Iraq. The war was born out of greed and corruption in wanting to steal what would amount to trillions in oil. The Bush Administration lied to the American people and the world to achieve the unthinkable. But then it blew up in Bush's face.

No one should try to pretty it up. You are war criminals with the blood of over 1 million civilians (Iraqis) and 10,000 soldiers on your hands, for waging a war that was not based in any other purpose than theft.

The Bush and Cheney names will live in disgrace and infamy indefinitely. They are despised in America and the world. History will never justify murder for oil. Stealing and clinging to the people of Iraq's national property like common criminal, while civilians and soldiers paid for it with their blood.

Why you chose to go along with it, Mr. Blair, is something the British people struggle to understand, as reflected by their articles and online comments. You need to seek the Lord's forgiveness for the poor decisions you have made, Mr. Blair, as many people have died.

The occupation was and is illegal. If Obama does not get out of that region, he too will join the exclusive and disgraced club of war criminals. It is really sad those acting in government can decide other people's earthly fate.

Iraq inquiry: Tony Blair had no regrets over toppling Saddam Hussein

Published: 10:00PM GMT 29 Jan 2010 - Tony Blair refused to express regret for overthrowing Saddam Hussein and told the Chilcot inquiry he would take the decision to invade Iraq again even knowing the dictator had no weapons of mass destruction.

During six tense hours in front of the inquiry into the war, the former prime minister also used his testimony repeatedly to urge world leaders to take military action against Iran, which he described as more dangerous than Iraq had been under Saddam.

His confident delivery was interrupted only once by the audience, which included the relatives of British troops killed in Iraq, when he was asked to reflect on the fate of those who had died during the conflict.

1 In 6 Americans Live In Poverty

America is often referred to as the land of plenty, but a shocking study discovered, 1 in 6 Americans live in poverty. The National Academy of Science stated in a recently released report this week, 47.4 million Americans lived in poverty last year. The U.S. population currently sits at 305 million people.

This dangerous shift, indicates something the Judiciary Report published two years ago. Due to the financial corruption transpiring in America's corporate sector and government's complicity in this regard, the U.S. is heading in the direction of becoming the new India, no disrespect intended to either nation.

Two years ago, on September 27, 2007, in the How George Bush Destroyed The U.S. Economy article, the Judiciary Report stated, "What is forming is a similar situation to what happened in India, respectfully, with a small group of rich and a large group of poor. Unemployment is going to skyrocket if the government is not careful."

As time has now shown, that is just what has happened with unemployment, which skyrocketed this year and now the poverty rate is beginning to head in that direction as well, as predicted.

When the gulf between the rich and the poor grows in leaps and bounds, poverty will increase in very demonstrable ways.

The war in Iraq was ordered by the Bush administration to help a handful of rich people get very rich and it inadvertently made many people poor as well, eroding America's overall wealth and standing in the world.

Mr. Bush and Mr. Cheney opened a real Pandora's box via said corruption and now they can't shut it. Excessive spending by the new administration is only going to make things worse.

Revised formula puts 1 in 6 Americans in poverty

WASHINGTON — The level of poverty in America is even worse than first believed. A revised formula for calculating medical costs and geographic variations show that approximately 47.4 million Americans last year lived in poverty, 7 million more than the government's official figure.

The disparity occurs because of differing formulas the Census Bureau and the National Academy of Science use for calculating the poverty rate. The NAS formula shows the poverty rate to be at 15.8 percent, or nearly 1 in 6 Americans, according to calculations released this week. That's higher than the 13.2 percent, or 39.8 million, figure made available recently under the original government formula...

Tarpley alleges Al Qaeda was created by U.S. Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates. He also alleges the CIA is funding terror group Jundallah, in a bid at destabilizing Iran and Pakistan, to imperially rule over the region and disrupt wealthy China's oil supply from the Middle East.

He also alleges the British government was involved with earlier destabilization attempts, to create micro-states in the Middle East.

The Judiciary Report condemns the destabilization of nations. This misconduct should not be found anywhere in this world.

The "American Drug War: The Last White Hope" was an interesting, albeit misguided documentary by Kevin Booth. The piece focused on the American war on drugs, implemented by former U.S. President Richard Nixon.

I certainly didn't agree with Nixon's Watergate scandal or the fact he misused the Secret Service to spy on rivals such as Ted Kennedy, looking for dirt on the senator, to disgrace and discredit him, such as adultery. How ironic, given the illegal wiretapping he was engaging in. Oh, times haven't changed.

I also did not agree with Nixon spying on and seeking to deport singer/songwriter John Lennon. It was one of the worst political moves he made. Lennon was no saint, but to turn that level of federal attention, into prying in his life, was unconstitutional.

However, Nixon was right to initiate the war on drugs. I didn't agree with this documentary, as it glorifies drug use and condemns the authorities for trying to stamp it out.

Another irony of this documentary is, so many of the interviewees were stoned out of their minds and it is proof positive drugs are not good for you.

What kind of an endorsement for the drug trade is a group of men and women slurring their speech, speaking incoherently and looking dead in the eyes, clearly suffering from an ongoing loss of brain cells.

They were incapable of proper thought and speech. Sobriety, intelligence and responsibility are the better choice.

However, I do not wish to condemn them for their addictions, as many people struggle with horrible emotional pain and choose drugs as the outlet to forget the bad things that have happened to them, but it is not the right choice. Keep trying to get sober and drug free. God bless you.

Another misconception stated in the film is, "Music and drugs go hand in hand." I beg to differ. Stoned musicians turn up for work late, costing everyone including themselves income, cannot get their act together, make many mistakes while recording and performing at shows and destroy their vocal chords with drug abuse. Cocaine, crack and smoking are not good for the human voice.

It is referred to as, "Opening up your mind" but what are you opening it up to? Paranoia, schizophrenia, brain cell depletion, scary imagery and hallucinations.

Interestingly enough, Robert Steele, a former CIA agent featured in "American Drug War" stated, prior to the September 11th attacks, there were, "No drugs under the Taliban" but now the region, "Is responsible for 80% of the heroin coming to the United States and Western countries."

A former DEA Agent, Celerino Castillo III, also stated the Taliban was against "opium crop development" but after September 11th, "with the U.S. government controlling Afghanistan" poppy flowers grew in abundance and shipments to America increased.

It also explored the Taliban's role in the drug trade. Another allegation included, Osama's alleged anger towards George W. Bush for attempting to reduce opium and heroin shipments.

It was stated, Nixon gave Nepal $50,000,000 to outlaw drugs and hashish. However, later, the CIA allegedly, "Allowed drug production for political reasons."

Another item of note, is a segment featuring incarcerated drug dealer, Freeway Ricky Ross, who rapper "Rick Ross" took his name and persona from, for his hip hop career, which has been called into question for the past year.

The documentary points out that drug dealer, Freeway Ricky Ross, "Is at the bottom of the food chain, so he went to prison." While, according to CIA Officer, Robert Steele, "All the guys that violated the law, that ignored Congressional sanctions on Iran Contra, they're all in power. And George W. Bush, a guy that never succeeded at anything and is certainly not succeeding at this presidency, a guy who stole two elections, who has committed at least 10 impeachable offenses, he's President of the United States."

It goes on to list the men "still in power" as Otto Reich, Elliot Abrams, John Pointdexter, Michael Hayden, Robert Gates, John Walters and John Negroponte.

Then it closes with the hard-hitting line, "Ricky Ross is doing George Bush's time."
