Chris Brown Facing Another Potential Assault Lawsuit For Stomping On Man's Head In France

R&B singer, Chris Brown, is in trouble again. Brown is currently on a world tour, with some countries having refused him visas, due to his felony domestic violence conviction, stemming from case he pled guilty to beating ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Brown made an appearance in Cannes, France last week for a concert. Brown is being accused of stomping on the head of a man named Malek Mokrani, who was later hospitalized.

Mokrani is being referred to as a fan that Brown's bodyguards held down and beat. Video has surfaced of the incident and it shows Brown stomping on Mokrani's head, while he was physically subdued by the singer's security. Brown released a video to Instagram.com, high and slurring his words, while stating Mokrani was a bouncer who strangled him. The video has since been deleted by Brown.

Mokrani released a photo of himself in the hospital that illustrates his injuries. The fact of the matter is stomping on someone's head could have turned fatal. What would have happened had Mokrani died from a blow to the head. Brown would have been in serious trouble. Mokrani intends to file a police report and will unquestionably seek the advice of an attorney in seeking financial compensation for his visible injuries. As the assault is on tape, it would be an easy case to win.

Brown must refrain from engaging in assault, as he could seriously injure others and end up incarcerated. This incident will reinforce the view of some nations that Brown should not be granted a visa due to violence issues.

This is the second time in the past two weeks Brown has gotten into trouble. On the way to Cannes, Brown and his entourage were thrown off a private jet for smoking marijuana, which could have resulted in the pilot and the rest of the flight crew becoming high and accidentally crashing the plane.

In a video that was posted to Instagram then deleted, Brown accused the pilot of asking him for cocaine. Brown was high in the video. Brown's drug and alcohol problems are worsening, imperiling his health.

Chris Brown Head Stomps Fan at Concert

6/4/2016 1:00 AM PDT - 8:55 AM PT - Chris Brown posted on social media and said Mokrani was a security guard who assaulted him and tried to kick him out, so his team "handled the situation accordingly." Chris Brown exploded in anger and stomped on a man's head during a concert ... and the victim is now gunning for some justice. Malek Mokrani attended a Brown concert in Cannes on May 18 ... it's clear a fight erupted and something clearly upset Chris, because you see his shoe turn into a weapon. It's unclear if Mokrani was involved in the fight or just collateral damage.

Chris Brown's Concert Promoter Hit With $3,600,000 Lawsuit Over Cancelled Australia And New Zealand Concerts

Chris Brown

Chris Brown's promoter, Castor and Ford Agency Pty Ltd, has been hit with a $3,600,000 (2,700,000 U.S. Dollars) lawsuit in Australia, filed by Westgate Entertainment Pty Ltd, over his cancelled concert series. Brown announced tour dates in Australia and New Zealand and began selling tickets, but unadvisedly did so before obtaining a visa.

This was a significant financial risk, as Brown is a felon from the Rihanna domestic violence case. Protesters demanded the governments block Brown's entry into Australia and New Zealand, rendering him unable to obtain visas. Brown filed an appeal, which was also denied. Brown and another concert promoter have been sued in the Philippines for cancelling a New Years eve show and keeping the $1,000,000 a church group paid as a deposit.

Brown's business is not being handled correctly. The concert cancellations will make it far more difficult for Brown to obtain the necessary touring insurance. It will also increase Brown's insurance premiums. There is also the risk it will make other concert promoters less inclined to work with him, costing him millions of dollars in revenue.

Chris Brown Australian tour cancellation sparks $3.6m lawsuit

6:02 pm March 31, 2016 - Legal action against US singer Chris Brown's Australian concert promoter has begun in Melbourne over last year's cancelled tour. The 26-year-old singer cancelled both his Australian and New Zealand tours after he was refused a visa to enter Australia in late 2015 on character grounds.

There was a groundswell of support for a petition that called on the government to block the R&B star from visiting the country because he was convicted in 2009 of assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna. A writ filed in the Victorian Supreme Court on Wednesday by Westgate Entertainment Pty Ltd against Castor and Ford Agency Pty Ltd (CAFA)claims it is owed more than $3.6 million...

Court documents say an agreement between Westgate and CAFA was reached in June 2015, which would see Westgate contribute 50 per cent of all expenses and costs associated with the tour. Under that deal Westgate would be repaid that money in full and also receive 50 per cent of tour profits. More than $2.6 million was paid by Westgate before the December concerts were cancelled, the writ says...

Chris Brown Announces European Tour But Will He Be Able To Obtain Visas

Chris Brown sporting a new hair style. Chris, the hair, just no (LOL). You won't have to worry about the regular police arresting you, because the fashion police will first (LOL).

Chris Brown has announced a European concert tour to cover countries such as Ireland, France, Germany, Belgium, Sweden, Norway and Luxembourg. However, as a convicted felon with misdemeanors on his record as well, Brown has been formally denied entry to Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Every nation listed on Brown's tour has visa requirements that could result in convicted felons being barred from entering each respective country (Schengen nations). It is dependent upon each world government. Brown has a conviction from the Rihanna domestic violence case.

Chris Brown 2016 European Tour

In the past, Brown failed to get permission via visas, for tour dates he selected in Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and was subsequently denied entry, as stated above. Concert promoters sometimes seek to force world governments' proverbial hands, when attempting to stage shows in other nations with a convicted felon as the star. However, many nations will call a promoter's bluff and deny entry. Therefore, it is always best to contact each nation's embassy and obtain the appropriate visas.

Obama Administration Policy Led To Homeland Security Not Checking Social Networking Pages Of Terrorists Coming Into America

Barack Obama

A policy implemented by U.S. President Barack Obama, barred Homeland Security from searching social media in vetting visa applications. In the wake of the San Bernardino terrorist shooting that left 14 defenseless, innocent people dead and 20 injured, questions are being asked regarding why Obama banned Homeland Security from accessing the social media pages of immigrants, such as Tashfeen Malik, who with her husband, Syed Farook, went on to commit the San Bernardino terrorism based killings.

Tashfeen Malik and Syed Farook

Malik’s social networking pages bore the signs of radicalization. According to reports, there are others seeking entry into the United States who harbor pro-terrorism leanings, as evidenced by posts on their social networking pages espousing sport for terrorists and extremism. However, Homeland Security is claiming its hands are tied due to Obama’s policy.

Secret US Policy Blocks Agents From Looking at Social Media of Visa Applicants, Former Official Says

Dec 14, 2015, 7:18 AM ET - Fearing a civil liberties backlash and "bad public relations" for the Obama administration, Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson refused in early 2014 to end a secret U.S. policy that prohibited immigration officials from reviewing the social media messages of all foreign citizens applying for U.S. visas, a former senior department official said.

"During that time period immigration officials were not allowed to use or review social media as part of the screening process," John Cohen, a former acting under-secretary at DHS for intelligence and analysis. Cohen is now a national security consultant for ABC News. One current and one former senior counter-terrorism official confirmed Cohen's account about the refusal of DHS to change its policy about the public social media posts of all foreign applicants.

A spokesperson for the DHS, Marsha Catron, told ABC News that months after Cohen left, in the fall of 2014, the Department began three pilot programs to include social media in vetting, but current officials say that it is still not a widespread policy. A review of the broader policy is already underway, the DHS said.

The revelation comes as members of Congress question why U.S. officials failed to review the social media posts of San Bernardino terrorist Tashfeen Malik. She received a U.S. visa in May 2014, despite what the FBI said were extensive social media messages about jihad and martyrdom.
Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., demanded Sunday that the U.S. immediately initiate a program that would check the social media sites of those admitted on visas." "Had they checked out Tashfeen Malik," the senator said, "maybe those people in San Bernardino would be alive."...

Donald Trump Demands America's Borders Be Closed To All Muslims

Trump Demands A “Total And Complete Shutdown” Of America's Borders To Muslims

Donald Trump has come under fire tonight from a few fellow politicians for his statements on Muslims

America is a nation of 322,000,000 people. America has 7,000,000 Muslims. U.S. Presidential candidate, Donald Trump, the current frontrunner in election polls, issued a statement today demanding America's borders be closed to all Muslims. Trump stated, "Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in jihad and have no sense of reason or respect for human life."

Trump further stated, "Shariah authorizes such atrocities as murder against non-believers who won't convert, beheadings and more unthinkable acts that pose great harm to Americans, especially women. Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine."

Trump confirmed he would ban all Muslims from America, including immigrants, those seeking visas for educational purposes and tourists. The Guardian newspaper also revealed Trump wants a database containing the names of all Muslims currently in America.

Donald Trump calls to ban all Muslims from entering US

Monday 7 December 2015 23.22 GMT - Donald Trump, the leading contender to become the Republican party’s nominee for US presidential candidate, has called for a “total and complete shutdown” of the country’s borders to Muslims in the wake of the San Bernardino terrorist attack. Trump made his most extreme pledge yet – in a race in which he has consistently pushed the boat out on issues of race and immigration – in a statement released to the media through his presidential campaign team.

He said there was such hatred among Muslims around the world towards Americans that it was necessary to rebuff them en masse, until the problem was better understood. “Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe only in Jihad, and have no sense of reason or respect for human life,” the billionaire real estate developer said.

Trump put out his incendiary proposal just hours before he was scheduled to appear at a rally on board the USS Yorktown, a second world war aircraft carrier that is berthed near Charleston, South Carolina. The military location was carefully chosen for an address that falls on the 74th anniversary of the Japanese attacks on Pearl Harbor that brought America into the war.

To justify his extreme call for a total rejection of all Muslims seeking to enter the US, Trump turned to what he claimed to be polling data that underlined what he said was the violent hatred of followers of the faith toward Americans. However, the statement cites the Center for Security Policy, an organisation branded extremist by anti-race-hatred campaigners at the Southern Poverty Law Center.

“Shariah authorizes such atrocities as murder against non-believers who won’t convert, beheadings and more unthinkable acts that pose great harm to Americans, especially women,” Trump’s “policy statement” said. The former reality TV star added: “Without looking at the various polling data, it is obvious to anybody the hatred is beyond comprehension. Where this hatred comes from and why we will have to determine.”
Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski said Trump’s proposed ban would apply to “everybody”, including Muslims seeking immigration visas as well as tourists seeking to enter the country. Another Trump staffer confirmed that the ban would also apply to American Muslims who were currently overseas - presumably including members of the military and diplomatic service...

Chris Brown To Be Barred From Entering Australia As His Criminal Record Continues To Cost Him Tens Of Millions Of Dollars

Chris Brown

The Australian government has announced it is preparing to bar singer Chris Brown from the nation, denying him entry for his "One Hell Of A Nite" worldwide concert tour. Brown has a criminal record from the Rihanna domestic violence case, where he plead guilty in lieu of prison, for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, after an argument between the two turned violent after she struck him. Brown was placed on probation for 5-years after accepting a guilty plea to avoid prison.

A few years ago I saw a documentary on Australia's Border Protection and the checks visitors must go through to visit their nation. Australia has stringent rules for entering their country. One is not allowed to have a felony conviction on one's record and must show means of support when attempting to gain a visa for entering Australia.

Chris Brown

Australia's Minister for Women and Minister for Employment Michaelia Cash stated, "I can assure you that the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection will be looking at this very, very seriously. People need to understand, if you are going to commit domestic violence and you want to travel around the world, there are going to be countries that say to you: ‘You cannot come in because you are not of the character that we expect in Australia.' This is a government that is not afraid to say no. We said no, you are not the type of person we want in Australia." The Prime Minister is in agreement with immigration regarding denying Brown a visa.

This marks the fourth nation to do so, after Canada, Britain and New Zealand denied Brown entry, costing him millions of dollars in concert revenues, paid appearances, endorsements and other tie-ins recording artists' representatives negotiate on their behalf. Brown has also lost many sponsorship deals in America. Overall, he has lost tens of millions of dollars since the ill-fated 2009 incident.

Australia 'very seriously' considering denying Chris Brown a visa over domestic violence history

September 24, 2015: Minister for Women Michaelia Cash has indicated that singer Chris Brown may not be allowed in Australia following his assault on former partner Rihanna. The federal government is considering refusing a visa to US singer Chris Brown on character grounds over his history of domestic violence.

Brown, 26, is due in Australia in December for a run of stadium shows and had his tour posters defaced in Melbourne this week with sticker’s emblazoned with “I beat women”. In 2009, the RnB star was convicted over the assault of then-girlfriend and fellow singer Rihanna, who required hospital treatment for her injuries. Brown was sentenced to five years’ probation and served with a restraining order over the attack. He was also later jailed over an unrelated assault...
