Nelly Arrested On Drug And Gun Charges Accused Of Selling Drugs


Rapper and reality star Nelly, real name Cornell Haynes, was arrested in Nashville, Tennessee on drug and gun possession charges. Police stopped Nelly’s tour bus for not having the right stickers and did a surprise search of the vehicle. Police discovered marijuana, meth (MDMA/Ecstasy) and three guns in the sleeping quarters of bus.

Police also discovered 100 small Ziploc bags used to pack and sell drugs. This resulted in Nelly being arrested on felony drug charges. Nelly, via his attorney, Scott Rosenblum, is denying the drugs belong to him. Nelly’s attorney stated to website TMZ, "Nelly will not be associated with the contraband that was allegedly discovered.
