Tamar Braxton And Husband Vince Herbert In Violent Fight

R&B singer Tamar Braxton has been experiencing difficulties this year. Her album flopped, concert appearances sold poorly and she was kicked off the talk show “The Real.” After the cancellation of her reality show “Tamar And Vince” she returned full time to the one she started her career with, “Braxton Family Values.“ However, the ratings for the latter have declined as well. 

This week it was reported Tamar and Vince got into a violent fight in an Atlanta, Georgia hotel. Police were summoned, after Vince bit Tamar’s finger so badly, some feared she would lose the digit. In the July 16, 2011, the Judiciary Report did state there were rumors Vince has been getting violent with Tamar (Rumor: Tamar Braxton Is A Victim Of Domestic Violence). 

Tamar married Vince for his money and connections. Tamar’s music career did not take off for many years, always in the shadow of award winning sister, Toni Braxton. Ironically, Toni introduced Tamar to Vince, a music producer and imprint label owner. Vince gave Tamar a life of luxury and got her a new record deal with known producers. Vince used his influence in the music industry to make Tamar’s album a success. The couple got mixed up with the Hollywood illuminati and it put a massive strain on their marriage. The constant presence of the cult and their deranged demands brought the couple to breaking point. 

The most recent rumors state Tamar is cheating on Vince with a Hollywood entertainment manager. If this lands in divorce court, the alleged affair would be used against her. There is also precedent for this behavior, as Tamar was beaten in an elevator in Atlanta for cheating with married music executive, Michael Mauldin, the father of producer, Jermaine Dupri (whose last name is Mauldin). 

Side Bar: Speaking of Mauldin, a few weeks ago he was staring me down. I was ignoring Mauldin, as he was a Sony employee that had exploited one of my copyrights without permission. It’s annoying how these people keep finding me when I don’t want to see any of them. I don’t know what they think they are accomplishing. I am not afraid of them, nor do I like them. So exactly what do they think they’re doing. 

Mauldin is not a good guy. He and his son Jermaine not only ripped off the artists they signed to So So Def, their now defunct label, they also stole copyrights from a slew of writers and producers who sued them. Many writers and producers also complained to the parent label about the thefts they condone (Sony). The Mauldins also started other businesses and didn’t pay their employees, who slammed them for it on television and retained lawyers.

The couple got involved in an intense physical domestic dispute at the Ritz Carlton in Buckhead Atlanta last night, resulting in Tamar calling the police on Vince. BOSSIP has exclusively learned the details of the incident. 

According to our sources, Tamar and Vince got into an extremely heated argument that turned physical. During the altercation, Vince actually bit Tamar on her hand so badly that he drew blood, and she ended up calling the police. Witnesses say that Tamar’s finger was in extremely bad shape as she left the premises, and she very likely needed stitches to close up her wound. However, Tamar refused EMS services when they were offered. Vince was apparently NOT arrested, as he fled the scene before police even arrived. 

Even more shocking…we hear this isn’t the first time that these two have gotten physical. Sources say the couple routinely fist-fights and get into intense, physically violent altercations — something which everyone who works closely with the couple knows. They typically smooth things over and put on a good public face after each blowout…but apparently things got out of hand this time around, and police involvement was necessary...

The family of 23-year-old singer, Tinashe, has come to her defense, after crooner Chris Brown slammed her on the social networking website Instagram. Tinashe recently revealed she did not want to work with Brown, but did so at the record label's insistence, "He just hopped on the song and then we had a Chris verse. It was really the label. It wasn't me." Both Brown and Tinashe are signed to Sony Music.

Brown slammed Tinashe, calling her a slew of names, as she made the comment about their collaboration and unfollowed him on social networking for slamming the suicide bid of fellow female singer, Kehlani, as a ploy for public sympathy and attention. Brown called her a "30 16-year-old hobbit face as*"insulting her looks, despite the fact they privately became romantically involved. However, any woman expecting Brown to be faithful will be disappointed. Brown has gotten into the dangerous promiscuity that many famous men engage in and often to the detriment of their sexual health and personal relationships.

Tinashe's brothers, mother and grandmother leapt to her defense in the wake of Brown's comments. They made tweets on Twitter.com expressing their anger at Brown's statements regarding Tinashe. Sony Music has been trying to rehabilitate Brown's image after the Rihanna domestic violence case, by pairing him with female singers, who seek sales from his large audience. However, Brown has repeatedly gone on social networking and lashed out against a slew of famous and non-famous women. Brown slammed famous women such as his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran, Adrienne Bailon, Tamar Braxton, Zendaya, Fifth Harmony and Tinashe. Brown has also slammed the mother of his child, as well as female fans online as well.

On Saturday January 23, 2016, Lifetime aired the Toni Braxton biopic "Unbreak My Heart" executive produced by the singer. The film glossed over a number of pertinent facts in Braxton's life and those associated with her music career. Audiences online on social networking interpreted LaFace Records CEO and music producer, L.A. Reid, as the bad guy, blaming him for Braxton's financial downfall.

Some on social networking also slammed Reid's ex-wife, former recording artist and music manager, Perri "Pebbles" Reid, for Braxton's financial fall as well. However, Pebbles was not a party in the record deal. A few also blamed singer/producer, Kenny "Babyface" Edmonds, who was the co-owner of LaFace Records.

LaFace's parent company, Arista Records, largely owned by music veteran, Clive Davis, made the lion's share of the money. As previously stated in the column, subsidiary label deals, such as the one LaFace Records and Arista Records entered into via a joint venture, always ends up in the artist getting less money, when one of the two other parties does not take a lesser share of the profits. The only way such a deal works to all involved is if the subsidiary and or parent company takes a few points/percent less in the deal. 

All these recording contracts are is a chance to earn money and become famous. An artist is given a loan "an advance" to record an album and cover basic expenses, but that money is recoupable from future record sales. This means it is a loan the entertainer has to pay back before you see any profit as an artist.

When you record for a label like LaFace Records, they will get you the best producers, songs and music videos money can buy. This means your budget will be far greater than a label with lesser resources. However, you have to sell enough albums and singles to recoup those costs from the loan "advance" before you see any financial profit. None of it is guaranteed.

What you are paying for with a big label is their connections via access to top producers, video directors and promotional opportunities on famous television shows and music channels. Indie labels (independent/smaller labels) usually have far less or no connections, which means less people will hear your work (however, the internet and social networking is evening out the playing field where anyone can access your music and videos). 

If your album flops, you don't have to pay the loan ("advance") back. Therefore, you aren't on the hook for loan "advance." However, your album flopping means you will lose your record deal and not have a career as a recording artist (unless you get another deal, which only happens half the time after a flopped debut). The record company retains the view they are putting hundreds of thousands of dollars (sometimes it hits over a million) into launching the recording artist's career, with no guaranty they will see any return on their investment, which entitles them to the greater share of the profits.

It's an industry where you can walk in off the street penniless and become a millionaire entertainer. Labels believe they are to be handsomely rewarded for extending the opportunity of a lifetime, which they should be. However, record deals start off with a very low royalty rate and truthfully, the labels could give a bit more of a percentage to the artist to start. 

Artists need lawyers to properly explain to them what they are signing  Artists also need good, honest managers who have a proper understanding of the music industry and its practices. Braxton's lawyer and manager failed her in this regard. After Braxton's debut album was successful, her manager should have renegotiated her record deal with the assistance of her attorney.

Braxton sold 4,000,000 copies of her debut, a certified hit record, which qualified her for a higher royalty rate. LaFace did not tell her this information (though they knew). Neither did her manager and separately lawyer, who may or may not have known. Once again, a more experienced manager and an entertainment industry lawyer would have known these things.

Braxton also made a big mistake in embarking on a massive tour, running up a $4,000,000 tab on staff, travel and sets, with no sponsor. An experienced manager would have known this. Another option would have been Braxton being an opening act for a largely successful veteran artist, where she would not have to shoulder all the cost for an entire tour.

The record industry in America is suffering from its lowest sales to date. People in America are not buying music like they used to do. Recording budgets are lower than ever. Many perks that artists used to enjoy are gone. If any of Braxton's hit records had been released today, they would have sold far less records than she did in the 1990s.

Many modern artists are very cocky and rude with older artists who are no longer enjoying hit records. However, most artists today have even shorter careers than stars in the 1980s and 1990s. It's a cycle and it's shorter than ever. Thing is to be smart about your entertainment career and fame. Learn all you can before you go into it and don't spend unwisely.

Braxton stated this film was a chance to show the world she wasn't some dumb artist, who spent all her money. Braxton is blaming her financial falls on LaFace and Artista. However, the movie glossed over the fact that after LaFace gave her $22,000,000 and renegotiated her recording contract for a higher royalty rate, she did some massive personal spending, as reflected in her second bankruptcy filing.

Even fellow LaFace recording star Usher stated Braxton spent too much money, stating if you are given "$100 you don't spend $99." Braxton has been living lavishly for years, but it is always good to save for a rainy day. When one does a tour or business venture, register it as a corporation, that way you aren't personally liable if things go wrong. Make sure you obtain proper insurance and disclose all pertinent facts. Braxton left out some of her health ailments in trying to obtain insurance, as most companies will not underwrite a star with a Lupus created heart condition.  

The film also left out some of Braxton's sex partners, making her look like a virgin until she met her husband Keri Lewis. Braxton's past sex partners include actor Shamar Moore and L.A. Reid's brother, Bryant Reid, among others. Toni and sister Tamar Braxton were known in the industry for being promiscuous at that time.

LaFace was right to try to rein in Braxton's overly sexual image. People have heavily criticized Braxton for her overt sexual content and raunchy appearance. 99 percent of artists who become true legends, don't have content that is sexually explicit. It detracts from the music and is considered a gimmick.

At the end of the day, Braxton's financial troubles have overshadowed her career. She is most remembered for her financial fall and not her music. No artist wants that, but that is what has happened in this case. Braxton and her family have also strayed far from their roots and it has caused them a world of emotional pain. Braxton's dad, a minister, cheated on her mom in conduct that almost destroyed their family. The Braxton sisters are now mixed up with Hollywood cults, rendering them spiritually confused and vulnerable to trouble.

Braxton's story should be a learning experience for anyone seeking to become an entertainer. Keep your feet on the ground, trust no one in the industry and save money when you can. Braxton's career went into freefall in the space of a few weeks when her album "More Than A Woman" flopped. She has not had a hit since "Secrets." That's how the industry goes. You have to make the most of success while it's there and not be fooled into thinking money will always be coming in from an entertainment career. Spend your money wisely and invest it properly.

Reports in US Weekly indicate singer Chris Brown, who just completed 5-years of probation, got into a confrontation with two flight attendants on a private jet, for illegally smoking weed. US Weekly reports Brown was "smoking a ton of pot" which is not allowed on flights, as it is a violation of FAA rules.

Brown is accused of blowing marijuana smoke in the face of one of the flight attendants, who asked him to stop smoking weed on the flight. Brown is further accused of stating to another female crew member, "What is your old ass doing here anyway. I like to have the help be people I actually like to f**k."

Brown's publicist acknowledges there was a confrontation between the singer and flight crew, but stated he was smoking a cigarette. Brown's publicist stated the pilot refused to fly after Chris outed his cigarette, but his companion did so offensively. The pilot demanded Brown's companion be removed from the flight. This prompted Brown's tour manager to ask for a new pilot, in a request that went unfulfilled. When Brown's companion was ejected from the flight, the plane finally departed.

This latest outburst comes on the heels of the public meltdown Brown had on Twitter and Instagram after seeing ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, 27, posing for a picture with handsome male supermodel Tyson Beckford. Brown and his Bloods street gang associates threatened to break Beckford's legs, with the singer stating he would "f**k ya baby momma" and "whoop your child."

Brown later apologized for the outburst. R&B singer Tamar Braxton is having a nervous breakdown. It all started when blogger Sandra Rose published a post stating Braxton and her husband, music executive, Vincent Herbert, owe the IRS $1,600,000 and can't afford to furnish their recently purchased Calabasas, California mansion. Other bloggers and pop culture websites picked up the story, spreading it like wildfire.

Tamar took to Twitter and told off Rose, slamming her as a "bathroom blogger." Look here Tamar, none of us blog from the bathroom - I don't know what you think this is (LOL). However, blogger Perez Hilton has a fondness for Hollywood bathrooms and men (but you didn't hear that from me). Anyway, back to the story.

Tamar stated she went to the hospital with an anxiety attack over the story and is considering suing. I cannot verify Rose's story, because it's not mine, but I do know Herbert hides money. His label and management experienced problems due to overspending on artist successes that turned into flops that they had to scrambled to financially cover. Vince made money from recording acts Lady Gaga and Mindless Behavior, but not as much as many assume, as it was a subsidiary deal, where other corporations took a greater share of the profits.

Tamar has made a modest sum of money from her CDs "Love And War" and "Winter Loversland" because albums just aren't selling anymore in America. Tamar embarked on the "Love And War Tour" and two supporting jaunts that in total brought her approximately $1,000,000. Her stint as co-host of "The Real" morning talk show is worth approximately $200,000. The couple's reality TV work is worth approximately $1,000,000. Tamar also launched a fashion line, but it did not generate big revenues.

The couple were living in fairly expensive Bel Air, before moving to Calabasas. They drive expensive cars, wear designer clothes and take lavish vacations. These expenses add up. Then, there's the Internal Revenue Service. The couple has made enough money to owe the IRS seven figures.

In related Tamar news, she broke down on "The Real" crying that a person referred to her as a Muppet (see: K Michelle, then Chris Brown) and has the whole world calling her that. K. Michelle also keeps calling Tamar old. The thing is Tamar is 37-years-old and K. Michelle is 33-years of age. That's just 4-years difference, which is nothing. Under K. Michelle's illogical reasoning, isn't she old as well.

I don't think Tamar looks like a Muppet. However, sometimes she heavily pouts and it makes her lips stick out more than normal, due to the unnecessary and obvious plastic surgery she has owned up to having underwent. Even her sister, Grammy award winning singer, Toni Braxton, told her on the reality show "Braxton Family Values" not to pout and it was for that reason. It makes her face look a certain way due to the excessive plastic surgery. She really did not need all that work done. There was nothing wrong with her nose or cheeks.

“Braxton Family Values” and “Tamar And Vince” continues to air episodes of singer Tamar Braxton disrespecting and embarrassing her husband, music executive, Vincent Herbert. On a recent episode of the show “Tamar And Vince” the singer was seen seductively posing with two men in a pool during a vacation to Mexico, as well as using Instagram when her husband asked her not to during the trip.

Herbert became incensed. However, it’s not the first time Tamar has done something her husband found embarrassing regarding him or their marriage. For example, during her recent national tour, there was a segment featuring a male dancer groping her and making gestures indicative of sex acts. Herbert looked at the display with contempt and rolled his eyes. At the end of the day, it is disrespectful to her husband.

If you have a significant other, it's not wise to post suggestive photos of yourself with others to social networking. It's also not wise to respond to romantic type social networking items directed at you by others, with anything indicating you are interested, if you are already in a relationship. It can only lead to trouble. Not only will you be leading someone on, you will offend the person you are dating or married to, which can damage your relationship.

The Judiciary Report has discussed this before. Be careful what you post on social networking. People will think you are having sex with many people, simply by suggestive comments and photos you post. Even if nothing is going on, people will assume and you'll end up making yourself look promiscuous with low standards. And trust me, that's not a good image for anyone. I could've have been politically correct and went about the situation more civilized but I'm not fake nor do I need to ever comment on anyone's life. I felt the need to say what I felt. The show was depicting relationships. They gave their views on my relationship by bashing my significant other for being with me publicly on national television. There are too many Pots calling the kettle black."...

Singer Chris Brown is standing by his online statements against "The Real" talk show hosts Adrienne Bailon and Tamar Braxton, over insults levied at him and his girlfriend Karrueche Tran. Brown released a video expressing no remorse over Bailon and Braxton labeling him a bad guy cheating on Tran and implying she's a gold digger using him for his fame and money. Brown appeared to be intoxicated in one of the videos he posted in response to the incident.

The Real daytime talk show has made an enemy out of singer Chris Brown. Former 3LW and Cheetah Girls singer, Adrienne Bailon, started an insult fest against Brown's girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. Adrienne implied that Karrueche is a gold digger using Chris for gifts and to get into exclusive places with her friends. Tamar agreed with her, but in a more tactful way. Adrienne also stated Chris is embarrassing Karrueche by cheating on her. Adrienne's attack was unkind.

Within hours of the show airing, Brown took to Twitter and Instagram and slammed both Adrienne and Tamar for their comments. Chris read them the riot act, calling Adrienne, a former Sony labelmate, a ho* who was cheating with married men and having threesomes. Chris slammed Tamar calling her ugly and commented that the plastic surgery she underwent did more harm than good.

Tamar had stated Karrueche doesn't seem to have a voice of her own. This prompted a response from Karrueche on Instagram, answering Tamar's claims that labeled her quiet and subservient. It is very apparent Karrueche is tired of all the criticism, but does not want to get into confrontations with people over dating Chris Brown.

Recent episodes of the reality show “Braxton Family Values” reveal singer Tamar Braxton behaving badly in her treatment of her sisters Trina, Towanda and Traci. This transpires while big sister, Grammy Award winning singer, Toni Braxton, looks on perplexed at what fame has done to her younger, not to mention louder, sibling. 

Tamar, so full of hype over her career finally taking off after 15-years of less than successful attempts, threw her sisters out of her concert, for surprising her on stage. Tamar called them “motherf*****s” “bit**es” and “sparkly Teletubbies” (basically calling them fat) before her tour manager unceremoniously ejected them from the venue.

Tamar is painfully jealous of her sister Toni Braxton, who became a household name in the 1990s and enjoyed much success as a recording star at LaFace Records. That jealous keeps seeping through on the show. You also see why LaFace chose Toni, a good vocalist and piano player, who is relatively easy to work with. Tamar has the bigger voice…and ego. The latter producers are wary of in artists.

Ironically, if it weren’t for Toni, Tamar wouldn’t have a record deal, as she put the family’s name on the map and took her sisters on tours with her. Then Toni’s sisters, sans Traci, received a record deal and earned two moderately successful R&B hits "So Many Ways" "Only Love" and "The Boss." 

 

Tamar Braxton's self-titled debut CD did not farewell in 2000 due to the weak lead single "Get None" but had the impressive song "If You Don't Wanna Love Me." However, sales were low and Tamar was dropped from her record deal. However, her 2014 CD "Love And War" has become a hit and it has gone straight to her head.

Not to mention, Toni introduced Tamar to music manager, Vincent Herbert, who has now helped to make her famous. You should thank God for your sister. She’s been a blessing to you. Your other sisters have been there for you as well.

Star magazine has been reporting that award winning singer Toni Braxton is broke and homeless, living with her sister and brother-in-law. However, a source informed me that Braxton is not broke. Said source responsible for some of my exclusives revealed she certainly isn't as rich as she once was but she is "stashing money."

Braxton is attempting to rebuild her life after a divorce and bankruptcy. However, Braxton needs to focus on her health, as she has lupus. Hectic industry schedules and an autoimmune disease do not mix. Take time out for yourself.

Things have gone from bad to worse for Grammy award winning singer Toni Braxton. Her "sad" divorce from husband Keri Lewis was made final last month after 15-years of marriage. New reports have also surfaced in Star magazine claiming she is broke and homeless. This after losing the rights to 27 of her songs during bankruptcy proceedings.

It is being stated Braxton is now living with her sister Tamar Braxton and her wealthy husband, indie label owner and manager, Vincent Herbert. Braxton has made concert appearances and completed work in a Lifetime movie. Therefore, she does have income, but if her old spending problems have resurfaced her finances may not be in the best state, as she has lived very lavishly. Braxton has not responded to the aforementioned claims in the press

34-year-old rapper, Chris Kelly, from the 1990s teen rap group Kriss Kross died on May 1. 2013 of a drug overdose. This marks the fourth major Sony Music artist to die under tragic circumstances over the past few years (Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and Left Eye). Kelly took a fatal combo of cocaine and heroin, known as speedball (or speedballing). He has gone the way of so many child stars before him, turning to drugs and alcohol to mask the pain of his fallen career. Kris Kross only had one successful album "Totally Krossed Out." The subsequent follow up flopped on the charts, as producer and industry conman, Jermaine Dupri tried to make them over into teenage gangsta rappers.

A video has surfaced of Kelly, showing him 48 hours before his death, high on cocaine and heroin, in a state of psychosis, struggling to rap to a song playing in his home. TMZ describes the video as, "Hours before his death, a drugged out Chris Kelly attempted to rap ... and spit out lyrics about a room full of dead bodies ... and TMZ has the sad footage."

Kelly’s lips and skin betray the signs of heroin use. He had the appearance of someone who’s health was fading. On the tape he is surrounded by friends who are also high and drunk. Before the release of the tape, another of his friends, stylist Lisa Pope, complained to the press that Kelly had surrounded himself with a set of negative friends, who brought about his demise.

It’s quite cliché. How many times over the past few years has the Judiciary Report repeatedly warned people to beware of the company you keep. Good friends will watch out for you, tell you the truth when you are wrong, discourage you from taking a negative path in life and not use you (for money or fame). Bad friends will give you the wrong advice and bring vices into your life (pay attention Justin Bieber).

My family and I are very familiar with the business practices of Kris Kross’ former management, ERI, who maintained an office in Miami in the 1990s, run by Dupri’s dad, Michael Mauldin, who is another con artist and thief. While Mauldin cheated on his wife with Tamar Braxton in exchange for career favors, Dupri kept targeting Xscape’s Kandi Burruss for sexual favors or he would not give the group good songs, marketing, promotion and publicity. And so, she gave in.

Dupri and co were also constantly sued in unrelated legal actions for copyright infringement in criminally stealing preexisting works registered with the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. They’d steal from anybody - even kids. Dupri even stole from songwriters he signed, talking credit and payment for their work (which later resulted in lawsuits).

That whole empire came crashing down due to being built on corruption, fraud, theft and extortion, as they lost their label, management company, restaurant and recording studio due to bad business dealings they engaged in all over the South. They are known in the industry for being shady. It’s apart of why Janet Jackson dumped Dupri and married another man.

I’m not surprised that whole thing collapsed, as the illegal things that went on behind the scenes of Kris Kross’ career spilled over into their actual lives and sent them down the wrong path. Now Kelly is dead. 34 is young and too young to die. However, Hollywood has never been particularly kind to child stars, with so many of them dying young after being chewed up by the system.

As some of you may recall, during the first season of "Braxton Family Values" Tamar Braxton, wife of music executive Vince Herbert, stated if she ever had a child she would name that poor little baby Disney. Now that she is pregnant, please tell me she is not going to to that.

Name the baby Disney and the poor kid will get teased at school. Why not combine your names and call the baby "Tamince"...or drop the letter "n" and go with "Tamice." It's still better than Disney as a kid's name. No need to thank me.

The Braxtons are contemplating hosting their own reality show, as viewing numbers for "Braxton Family Balues" spin-off "Tamar And Vince" have been lackluster. It seems the public prefers the entire family, as opposed to just attention loving Tamar Braxton and her husband Vincent Herbert.

As such the family seeks to capitalize on it, via their own talk show. Will they show talk show host Oprah Winfrey they can do it too (especially after Toni Braxton revealed she felt Winfrey insulted her during an interview years ago). Probably not.

The reality show "Tamar And Vince" featuring contentious couple Tamar Braxton and Vincent Herbert is sinking in the ratings. The show placed dead last in the ratings, which WE tv could not be happy with. Braxton used her family's reality show "Braxton Family Values" as a springboard to the "Tamar And Vince" show thinking it was going to blow up, but the tires on the show below out in week one, leaving them stranded in the ratings race.

Uh oh! "Braxton Family Values" pulled higher ratings than "Tamar And Vince" because of...wait for it and hold your weave back Tamar...R&B star Toni Braxton. I know Tamar is not going to want to accept that (like I care), but Toni was a big part of the show's ratings (as were the other cast members). It wasn't all about Tamar acting like a ham hock.

Music executive Vincent Herbert and his reality show co-star and wife, Tamar Braxton, have put their Hidden Hills, California mansion on the market for $7,595,000, in a move being interpreted online as the couple heading for a split. Their new reality show "Tamar And Vince" hasn't helped this view, as it revealed terrible arguments and incidents that portray them as disliking each other.

There are even claims online that Herbert has engaged in acts of domestic violence against Braxton, who is with him for the money. I sincerely hope Herbert is not abusing Braxton, but during an episode of "Braxton Family Values" he got rough with her, using his leg to hit hers (hard), when she stated something unflattering about her sister, Toni, his then client, whom she is jealous of, due to her fame. At times, Braxton seems to care more about her stalled, forthcoming CD than she does her marriage, which is sad.

I saw two episodes of the reality show "Tamar And Vince" tonight and it was ugly. Tamar Braxton, an aspiring singer and sister to songbird Toni Braxton and her husband, music executive, Vincent Herbert fight like they hate each other. Tamar nags him a lot (you may want to ease up on that). He has clearly grown very tired of it and has been calling her regrettable names as a result. One minute they profess their love for each other, the next they are throwing terrible insults that are awkward to watch.

Much of Tamar's bitterness comes from her stalled music career. She brings up her forthcoming CD so often to her husband, demanding he help her put out a finished product, which results in grimacing on his part, as she refuses to do things according to his advice. He keeps complaining of her attitude, something the Judiciary Report remarked on over a year ago, as the root of much of her social and professional problems. Things are getting so bad due to said CD that it could cost Tamar her marriage. No CD is worth ruining a marriage.  

Side Bar: a 16-year-old member of Herbert's black boy band Mindless Behavior was flirting with 35-year-old Tamar, who appreciated it a little too much. Are we going to have to put her on the neighborhood watch list (just kidding, but just in case, you better leave that little boy alone).

Reality star and singer, Tamar Braxton, the sister of Grammy Award winning chanteuse, Toni Braxton, has been talking about putting out an CD for quite sometime, but it has not materialized yet, which is strange. Braxton can sing and dance and she has the connections in Hollywood, via her husband, music executive, Vincent Herbert. So what's the hold up.

Sadly, people don't like working with Tamar for a specific reason. She is talented, but has a terrible attitude, entitlement issues and is stubborn. Toni isn't like that. She is willing to listen to people. Tamar is not. It's one of the reasons LaFace Records chose her sister Toni Braxton over her. Tamar is the stronger and younger vocalist, but her attitude put a lot of people off.

Braxton Family Values

Note to Tamar: lay off the plastic surgery. For someone that was naturally pretty, it is ridiculous to have that much work done damaging what God gave you. Just say no to the scalpel. It's way too soon for that and the results are not for you.
