The Hollywood Walk of Fame committee has banned reality television stars from the famous tourist attraction. They are now ineligible to receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Stars in the genre are upset by the decision, deeming it an insult, as they see themselves as real actors and actresses.

However, they must realize, reality television is not real acting. They are not thespians. Some study for many years to become an actor or actress. It really is not the same thing as being yourself in front of a camera on a show that is put together in a sensational manner by a production crew, as reality TV is formulated to be. Think about it, would you give Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian or Snooki an Oscar. No, as what they do is not real acting.

"Jersey Shore" reality star, Snooki, will not be in the New Years countdown ball tonight, as it descends over Times Square in New York. The idea was being bantered around, but has been nixed by officials as unnecessary and dangerous.

The petite star has become synonymous with partying and wild living. She has been in the news a lot this year, often at the center of controversy. Many critics have decried the show "Jersey Shore" as disgraceful, accusing its stars of publicity stunts for cash and setting a bad example.

The first season of the MTV reality show "Jersey Shore" featured a terrible scene of violence against the program's star "Snooki" (Nicole Polizzi). Once again, during the second season, the show is resorting to violence and against women, to draw ratings, as another of the show's stars, nicknamed "The Situation" (Mike Sorrentino) is featured slapping "Snooki" in the face. Even the women on the show are physically fighting each other. This, ladies and gentleman, is what pop culture has come to and it is not good.

"Jersey Shore" features young men and women, degrading and abusing themselves, whilst ingesting large quantities of drugs and alcohol. They are sexually indiscreet as well. Their values are non-existent and what they hold in esteem is superficial and meaningless. It's not just "Jersey Shore," as the majority of the entertainment on television geared towards society's youth, leads them astray via the glorification of violence, promiscuous sex, drugs and alcohol abuse.

Judge Damian Murray slammed MTV "Jersey Shore" reality star, Snooki, as a Lindsay Lohan "wannabe" who he labelled "Rude, profane, obnoxious and self-indulgent." Lohan is a disgraced actress that has been in and out of the legal system so often, judges have grown weary of her publicity seeking antics. Snooki labeled Murray's words "harsh" stating she does not drinking and drive or do drugs, as Lohan repeatedly has for the past several years.

Snooki was arrested for disorderly conduct, disturbing the peace and for being annoying, which is illegal in New Jersey. She apologized in court, but the judge wasn't buying it, believing her conduct was done deliberately, to draw an arrest for television ratings. Snooki has been ordered to do community service and pay a $553 fine.

The question is, who is worse, Snooki or Lohan. The answer to that question is easy. Lindsay Lohan is definitely the more destructive one. Here's hoping Snooki doesn't go down the same terrible path Lohan has, which left her at rock bottom.

Dina Lohan, the actress' stage mother, has slammed Judge Murray as "unprofessional" for invoking her innocent mentally ill daughter's name in Snooki's case. Speaking of Dina Lohan, someone egged her Long Island, New York home again and uprooted the mailbox. At least Dina has public support on her side (sarcasm).

Handbag manufacturers are reportedly running from reality TV celebrity, Snooki, who stars on the MTV trainwreck "Jersey Shore." Apparently, purse makers have been sending the Snookster free bags from their rivals, to stop her from carrying their product, which inevitably ends up being photographed on her arm. Ouch! It appears some brands do not want the Jersey Shore stamp of approval, for fear of what it will do to their image.

This latest amusement park dig, appears to be in response to the comedic tiff the two have engaged in. However, according to the Associated Press, some deem the game inappropriate, stating it is disrespectful to the President.

She said Obama wants everyone to be pale and former Presidential candidate, John McCain would not have done that. McCain agrees with her. Obama's talking smack, because he's already brown (just kidding).
