Judge Refuses To Recuse Himself In Custody Case Of Basketball Wives Star Royce Reed And Athlete Dwight Howard

Royce Reed

Judge Tim Shea of Florida, is refusing to recuse himself in the custody case of "Basketball Wives" reality star, Royce Reed and ex-boyfriend, Orlando Magic basketball player, Dwight Howard. Reed's motion to recuse is based on Howard's lawyer having endorsed Judge Shea on his website. Under the circumstances, it is understandable that Reed is requesting a recusal, as there exists a conflict of interest and potential bias. She also maintains through her attorney that Shea routinely rules in favor of famous athletes in custody cases.

Dwight Howard

For Reed, her child is at stake, so she wants no hindrances in court. As much a Reed has engaged in a number of unwise, contract violating actions that understandably upset Howard, she does not want to lose primary custody. Reed needs to think about this in future and stop provoking Howard, violating the confidentiality contract she signed with him, via publishing photos of their son online and having her new boyfriend pose for bedroom pictures with her child that she uploads on social networking sites.

Basketball Wives Royce Reed Likes Evelyn Lozada's Fiancée Chad Ochocinco Johnson

Chad Ochocinco and Evelyn Lozada

Does reality TV star, Evelyn Lozada know that her co-star, Royce Reed, likes her fiancée, Chad Ochocinco Johnson. Not to increase Lozada's paranoia, after years of dating cheating athletes, but it is true. However, Lozada herself has liked and slept with several professional athletes, so she shouldn't be surprised that other women like her own.

Royce Reed

Reed has a child for professional athlete, Dwight Howard of the NBA's Orlando Magic. The two have had a number of court confrontations over their child, as Howard objects to his son being in the limelight so early, which is understandable - and make no mistake, "Basketball Wives" is a circus.

Basketball Wives Back With More Fighting...Again

Shaunie O'Neal (A/K/A Puppetmaster)

Basketball Wives is back with season two and once again, they are fighting. Ironically, most of the fighting revolves around Evelyn Lozada. She is the most outspoken of the bunch and it has led to confrontations with Tami Roman and Royce Reed.

Evelyn Lozada

Lozada loves money and is attempting to capitalize on the near beating she took from Roman, over sleeping with her husband, Kenny Anderson. In response to the distasteful shirts, Roman is threatening legal action and served Lozada a letter of intent. Things got ugly pretty fast.

Tami Roman

Producer and star, Shaunie O'Neal, pretends she is the peacemaker, but let's be real, she is the Puppetmaster, pulling their strings in the background, hoping for fights and higher ratings. She is definitely in control of this stable of women. She is like the black Gloria Allred. They are all beautiful women. Why they are so insecure and feel the need to fight so much, is anyone's guess.

Why Are The "Basketball Wives" Not Really Wives

Stars of the reality show "Basketball Wives"

"Basketball Wives" which may as well be Basketball Witches, with the way some of them fight each other, are not really wives. All of them are pretty, but the majority of them are not wives. The star of the show, Shaunie O'Neal, is divorced from NBA star, Shaquille O'Neal.

Jennifer Williams, is in the middle of a divorce, from retired basketball player, Eric Williams. Royce Reed is single after breaking up with basketball player, Dwight Howard. Gloria Govan and Laura Govan are both single women, who have children for basketball players.

Evelyn Lozada, with former fiancé, Antoine Walker. She is now engaged to football player Chad Ochocinco.

Last but not least, Evelyn Lozada, dated basketball player, Antoine Walker, for 11 years and was his finance, but the relationship ended on a sour note. One wonders why he didn't marry Lozada after all that time? Was he scared. Literally! Could it be her mean streak that is present on the show. She's beautiful, but grumpy like one of Snow White's dwarfs.

"Basketball Wives"

"Basketball Wives" star and producer, Shaunie O'Neal, has finally conceded, costar, Eveyln Lozada, may have been trying to leave the show, after Tami Roman started beating her up, for sleeping with her ex-husband, Kenney Anderson. A public backlash ensued, as the couple was married at the time Lozada had sex with Anderson.

Shaunie O'Neal

Yesterday, O'Neal stated to ESPN regarding the departures, "it was just a rumor" and "no one is leaving the show." However, today O'Neal told the New Miami Times, "(Lozada) She is having a difficult time with the world judging her right now and having a lot to say... Its hard emotionally and mentally for the world sitting back and saying what they think of her."

Basketball Wives

"Basketball Wives" star and producer, Shaunie O'Neal, made a complete u-turn on earlier statements she made, on a departure from her show, regarding dancer Royce Reed. Boutique owner, Evilyn Evelyn Lozada, also announced she was leaving the show, after O'Neal set her up for a beatdown, handed out by Tami Roman, the ex-wife of former NBA star, Kenny Anderson.

Yesterday, the Judiciary Report wrote, the departure of the two ladies would put a dent in the show, as they are the most popular and controversial, judging by public feedback. Today, O'Neal announced via a message on ESPN that "No one is leaving the show."

Girlfriend thought about her ratings and changed her mind. Exactly how much more money did O'Neal offer Lozada to possibly allow Roman to head butt and drop kick her in season three. Hold on to your extensions, girl, because next season could land you in traction. Not to encourage violence, but that's why you shouldn't sleep with people's husbands.

Shaunie O'Neal Loses Two Top Reality Stars On "Basketball Wives"

Evelyn Lozada

Now that Shaunie O'Neal has lost her two most controversial and popular reality stars on "Basketball Wives" with the dismissal of Royce Reed and departure of Evelyn Lozada, how will she replace them, considering many NBA wives and girlfriends are avoiding the tabloid styled reality show.

Royce Reed

O'Neal rigged fights and sticky situations for ratings, only to lose her two top stars in the end. Not to mention, the ex-girlfriend of Miami Heat's Chris Bosh, has been withdrawn from contention for next season. All O'Neal's scheming has backfired. Either way, she needs to clean up the content of the show.

Report: Royce Reed's Ride And Bank Accounts Repossessed And Frozen

Royce Reed

"Basketball Wives" star, Royce Reed, 30, is a college educated, pretty dancer, who is mother to NBA star, Dwight Howard's 3-year-old son, Braylon Howard. Sadly, she is having a rough month, due to recent decisions she made, regarding their son.

First it is alleged, Marlon Yates, 23, the boyfriend of her boss and co-star, Shaunie O'Neal, 36, has been showering her with expensive gifts, in trying to woo her, on Shaunie's Shaq's dime. Reed is now fired from the reality show. Today it was announced, Howard, 25, allegedly sent the law after her, for violating their confidentially agreement regarding their adorable son.

"Basketball Wives"

Like many concerned celebrities parents, Howard was weary of having his child appear on camera, as it creates a security risk. It can also open a child's life to unwanted attention at an early age, which can be detrimental.

In addition to child support payments, Reed reportedly accepted $500,000 in cash, a $500,000 Orlando, Florida home and a Mercedes from Howard, in exchange for the reality star keeping their son and the details of their private lives off camera.

Dwight Howard

Reed recently broke the agreement by tweeting photos of Braylon on her Twitter page that promotes "Basketball Wives." One photo was normal, as it featured their cute pie son smiling. However, the other photo was inappropriate. The shot was of Reed's bedroom, featuring her son sleeping on an unmade bed and softcore porn photos on the wall, featuring the reality star's exposed backside in a thong, among other things.

Florida marshals (police) reportedly seized the Mercedes and lawyers went after the cash in Reed's accounts, for violating the confidentiality agreement. Under the law, they can seize said items, as she signed a contract regarding their son and violated it.

Shaq Tries To Shutdown Show "Basketball Wives"

Shaq's Wife Violated Confidentiality Agreement On "Basketball Wives"

Shaunie and Shaquille O'Neal

VH-1's new reality show, "Basketball Wives" starring, Shaunie O'Neal, the soon to be ex-wife of, Shaquille O'Neal, is in hot water of a legal variety.

It seems Shaunie signed a very binding confidentiality agreement with estranged husband, Shaq, which prohibits her from discussing their relationship publicly, particularly in a book or on a television program, which is exactly what she has done.

The scandalous "Basketball Wives" has thus far discussed Shaq's adulterous affair with, Laura Govan, the fiancée of fellow NBA basketball player, Gilbert Arenas, while kindly leaving out Shaunie's infidelity. Shaunie reportedly had two boyfriends during the course of their marriage and previously left her deacon husband to marry Shaq.

Shaunie O'Neal on "Basketball Wives"

Shaq had his lawyers send over a legal warning to VH-1 days before the show aired, but they went ahead with the debut without removing references to Shaq that aren't particularly flattering. Shaq is now threatening suit.

The show has a history of legal problems. The program clearly had to change its name from "NBA Wives" to "Basketball Wives" for legal reasons, as it would violate the league's trademark rights.

"Basketball Wives"

One of the show's stars, Royce Reed, was slapped with a gag order from, Dwight Howard, instructing her not to divulge the contents of their past relationship or mention his name or that of their son.

"Basketball Wives" Is Crazier Than "Real Housewives Of Atlanta"

Shaunie O'Neal

After having its name changed from "NBA Wives" to "Basketball Wives" VH-1's latest reality show debuted yesterday, starring Shaunie O'Neal, soon to be ex-wife of basketball player, Shaq O'Neal.

She brought along Eric Williams' wife Jennifer, Matt Barnes fiancée Gloria Govan (her sister, Gilbert Arenas' fiancée Laura, had an affair with Shaq), Michael Olowokandi's girlfriend Suzie Ketcham, Antoine Walker's former girlfriend Evelyn Lozada, Rasual Butler's ex-girlfriend Erikka Mozam and Dwight Howard's former girlfriend and mother of his son Royce Reed, who is the most scandalous of the bunch.

The women featured on the show are pretty and well spoken, but the show turned into caustic catfights and crying. Royce Reed also began vulgarly dancing throughout the show like a stripper, lowering the tone of the program.

She is a pretty woman (er, I don't mean like the movie of the same name) and should carry herself better than that, especially for her son's sake. It is clear the other women on the show do not like her. She was even labeled "groupie-ish."

A preview of coming episodes reveal clips of more bickering and a fight featuring one of the stars of the show, throwing a drink in another's face, who in turn smashes a glass in her face for doing so.

This show could have been far more useful and revealing regarding the tribulations that come with being attached to some, not all, athletes, who engage in sexual affairs, leaving their women devastated.

Instead, "Basketball Wives" is like "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" - full of fighting and gossip - but with a Miami locale. It will help ratings to a certain degree, but dignity flew out the window.
