Obama Administration Financial Cuts To Assistance For The Poor And Disabled While His Cabinet Lives Lavishly Off The American Taxpayers Speaks Volumes (Video)

Recently, Florida governor, Rick Scott, was on the receiving end of a profane tirade in Gainsville, Florida. A woman slammed Scott in a Starbucks over budget cuts he has made in office regarding women's health care . It is understandable the government would seek to balance the budget. However, cutting funds to the disabled, pregnant women and poor in any society, while government officials have luxury chauffeured cars, credit cards and big expense accounts, is unethical and inhumane.

 

The Obama Administration has cut funding for the disabled (both children and adults) on a federal level, which puts undue pressure on states, while people in the president's cabinet live the high life off the American taxpayers, via first class travel accommodations, padded expense accounts and big pay packets that are undeserved and inappropriate. Obama also gives billions of dollars in U.S. taxpayer money to his pet projects, such as solar projects, which have now failed.

 

It's amazing how the government can make sweeping cuts to programs for children, the disabled, disadvantaged and financially impoverished, but as the Tupac lyric states, "They've got money for wars but can't feed the poor." The government spends trillions on wars, but makes massive cuts to programs to help the needy.

 

A partially blind old lady asked me to read to her a letter addressed to her from the disability office in Florida, regarding how much assistance she would be getting and it stated $379.00 per month and that they had begun to reduce the previous figure by $79.00 monthly. I thought to myself, how can she live on that. The most basic one bedroom apartment in Miami, Florida is approximately $700.00 per month. Yet government officials in Florida and Washington, D.C. are being chauffeured around in $80,000 luxury cars on the taxpayer's dime, when they can afford to buy their own cars out of their paychecks.

I know several people who work with the disabled in the State of Florida. It is a rewarding field. However, the government makes it difficult for those who take care of the disabled, due to budget cuts, excessive amounts of paperwork and highly stressful file reviews. This also becomes burdensome for the disabled having to deal with the massive amounts of paperwork. People are sick and the government is demanding the disabled fill out enough paperwork to fill up a book.

 

Government disability offices in Florida are also questionably run. They tell the disabled to come in for reviews and monitoring, like it's parole, then hours before closing send people with impairments home, with instructions to come back the next day, as they are not of the belief they can see them on that day. So why tell people to come in. It is highly unprofessional and callous.

 

When you realize how much people with physical impairments go through to get up out of bed, bathe, get dressed and take transportation, then to be told come back the next day, hours (not minutes) before a disability office closes, it is disgraceful, vile and nonsensical. You can always tell a lot about an administration by the way it treats the poor and disabled.

The U.S. government sequester threatening programs that benefit the poor, could have been easily resolved, had the defense budget been adequately cut. Other world nations have been cutting their defense budgets during the ongoing financial crisis, but the cuts suggests in Washington are paltry at best.

The real war in the world right now is an economic one and Washington is losing. Other emerging economies such as China, India and Brazil, have made great strides, while Washington continues to focus on military spending. Economic clout has surpassed military might in the world.

Money wasted by Washington on bloated defense budgets and the FBI illegally spying on hoards of citizens while its officials fly, work and live in luxury, could go to helping the poor in America, creating new scholarships to help the next generation of American business people compete in the world and to aid struggling small and mid-sized businesses. Taxpayer money is going to the wrong endeavors and it is weakening the country.

It's a sad indictment of today's society when hard work doesn't even get you ahead in America anymore. Young people are coming out of university to no jobs, big student loans to repay and are fearful over their futures. People are working long hours, some at two jobs, for less pay than before and are barely making ends meet. Small and mid-sized business owners are losing their shirts trying to stay afloat in an economy where the government has forsaken and ignored them in favor of big business, who created the financial crisis in the first place.

Wall Street, Hollywood and the corporate sector as a whole, who created the financial mess, continue to live lavishly off ill-gotten gains made by robbing and gouging hard working people and it was and continues to be a great injustice. The order has been reversed and in a terrible way, which is why the U.S. economy has not recovered 5-years into the crisis. Until that order is reversed back, things will continue along a detrimental path of financial deterioration.  

The thieves and criminals are prospering, while hardworking people struggle and suffer, due to the cowardice of the Justice Department, FBI and the S.E.C. To have a prosperous economy, there must be proper regulation and equitable laws governing the financial sector that are enforced. No sense in having laws one does not use, as they are rendered in effective and is a major inducement for some to commit crime.

The Obama Administration has not cleaned up the corporate sector as too many of them are his rich donors. He has instead opted to spend the nation into debt, throwing money at a problem that was caused by indebtedness in the first place. IT was the equivalent of throwing gasoline on the fire. 

However, the greedy architects of the current financial crisis, did not think ahead, as they have damaged America in terrible ways, in something that is now affecting them as well. People are investing less in the stock market. People aren't building or buying homes like they used to, because they can't afford it and many are saddled with bad credit. Fewer cars are being sold. People are going to the movies a lot less and buying fewer music albums. A recent report revealed people in America are even cutting back on or getting rid of their cable television service. 

That greed of the corporate sector to gouge and gain as much money overnight, has led to long term losses that have eaten away what they would have made over time and created sales declines. They have not come out ahead, losing more than they have gained. Stealing is not a shortcut to success. It is the precursor to a nightmare.

Another serious side effect of big business being allowed to wreak havoc in the United States is America has lost its economic clout in the world, something Washington is having a very difficult time coming to terms with. The entire fiasco is a chain reaction of events, triggered by the greed of a handful of people in the corporate sector, in criminal misdeeds Congress failed to stop, due to campaign donations from the aforementioned, unduly rich lawbreakers.

According to reports coming out of California, the insane Kabbalah Center, which is a cult, is closing its charity, after becoming the subject of a highly publicized federal probe, by the IRS and the FBI. They are only closing shop in America. Therefore, other nations they have been operating out of, such as Britain, need to open criminal probes as well to shut those fraudsters down. The schizophrenic cult, whose members have murdered people in cold blood, caused an international incident this year, involving the impoverished nation of Malawi in Africa.

After using the country's name to raise tens of millions of dollars, Kabbalah and its thieving frontwoman Madonna, pocketed most of the money, rather than giving it to the people of Malawi. Madwoman Madonna, running her vile mouth, told the world she is opening a school for girls in Malawi, in attempts at mimicking the widespread publicity talk show host Oprah Winfrey received for doing so.

However, it was a complete scam on Madonna's part, as years went by, millions were spent and not even one permit was pulled to build the school, after the phony groundbreaking the weird, crazy singer staged for publicity. What is most infuriating about Madonna's self-serving, publicity seeking conduct is, she bulldozed an entire village of poor people's homes with no compensation given to them, vowing to build this school and years later nothing. She is so evil. She has a sick obsession with fraudulently putting people out of their homes (see: Florida Foreclosure Law Firms Under Investigation).

Malawi is a struggling nation, where significant segments of the population are infirmed and hungry, due to poverty. They grow small amounts of vegetables in their back gardens to sell and survive. Yet this wicked woman and her sick cult, went out there for publicity and money, using poor people's suffering as a charity cash cow.

For years on this website, I kept warning the government of Malawi to have nothing to do with Madonna and Kabbalah, as they are thieves, liars and violent criminals. What's almost as bad is the FBI has known all along what that terrible cult have been up to and allowed them to inflict so much damage on a small nation struggling with poverty.

Prominent African-American Princeton professor, Dr. Cornel West, has publicly denounced U.S. President, Barack Obama, for becoming, “A black mascot of Wall Street oligarchs and a black puppet of corporate plutocrats.” Sadly, this is true.

West went on to state, “Where is the Democratic accountability on the Wall Street oligarchs and corporate oligarchs?… Geithner and Company tied to Wall Street? That is not encouraging at all.” Again, this is true.

Obama has sold his soul in allowing corporate interests to gouge and pillage the poor in America. He has been complicit in the terrible financial abuses, while letting rich criminals run free. Obama has publicly embraced corporate criminals, in exchange for massive campaign donations for his reelection bid, not realizing that money shall be worthless to that end, if the people, everyday people, fail to back him over brazen corruption. You think about that - what good will that campaign money do, when people decide we saw what you did and will not vote for you.

West is correct, as Obama has forsaken what is right and ethical, in favor of Wall Street and Hollywood corporations donations. He is treading a very treacherous path to being voted out in 2012 and will have no one but himself to blame for that disgraceful conclusion to his time as President.

Obama also needs to stop playing the race card with the black community, to keep us reeled in, while he sells out the rights and interests of the poor and middle class, to greedy corporate titans. People are suffering under the current economic climate, both black and white and there is nothing amusing or good about that.

Congress Sponging Off The State While Cutting Citizens' Benefits

Sometimes when I read articles with transcripts or watch televised footage of members of Congress bickering to no effect or positive resolution, I am reminded of the fact that many of them are sponging off the state, while hypocritically lecturing the populace about unemployment and waste.

Not only do the nation's taxpayers, myself included, especially with all the copyrights that were criminally stolen and the tax money it spawned, pay their salaries ($174,000 - $225,000 per year), they receive generous benefits as well (great top of the line health insurance, large pensions and all expense paid luxury travel accommodations with free food and alcohol). As such, I and others have the right to sound off when they fail or engage in wretched behavior.

A number of lawmakers in Congress have been busted taking bribes to supplement their six figure incomes, which they receive for arguing on the people's dime, about things like fried chicken (Who are they? Colonel Sanders) - while the serious issues in life, such as people dying from diseases like cancer and AIDS, as others fraudulently tamper with research funding through brazen criminal theft, goes on in the real world. Maybe Congress should join the rest of us in the real world. It would make a nice change of pace.

This is the same Congress that refuses to cut their own bloated pay, while not making the grade, but are looking for ways to give the nation's rich massive tax breaks and cuts at the expense of the middle class and poor, who are being gouged by corporations. Clearly, Big Oil "greased your palms" campaign funds, so its okay for them to bleed the people dry (in your unethical estimation).

Programs to help poor people and the disabled have been cruelly cut, yet the government can afford an endless supply of million dollar bombs to use in illegal wars for oil (Obama Costing Americans Billions With War In Libya). When you do things like that as a legislature (and President) at least have the common decency not to publicly patronize the people, regarding why vital programs that help citizens in need are being discontinued.

This is the same Congress that allows the FBI to violate the privacy and constitutional rights of Americans EVERY SINGLE DAY, each time giving them a slap on the wrist for these criminal offenses, then it's back to the business of being overbearing eavesdroppers and snoopers.

This is the same Congress green lighting war after war they know is suspect and issuing billions in military based foreign aid, while giving domestic citizens nasty looks when threatening to cut unemployment, during a financial crisis they and the last president squarely started, bringing so much grief and suffering on not just America, but the world as well.

This is the same Congress contemplating destroying Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. Imagine that, millions of Americans paid into Social Security for decades and now you want to spit in the populace's face, stating you are working to cut the programs. How is that fair, decent or moral? That is the equivalent of reneging on a contract.

I live in the Social Security state, Florida, which is full of retirees, who have stories of how hard they worked to retire in peace. I can tell you off hand, there will be widespread homelessness if Congress ends Social Security and not just in this state, but the entire nation.

Retirees will not have enough money to pay their bills, in a society where the cost of food, gas, clothes and shelter have skyrocketed. This happened due to the horrible financial conditions Congress allowed to take root in the nation, under former President George W. Bush, which has continued under President Obama.

The congressional classes that served in Bush's time and now Obama's are bar none, the absolute worst in U.S. history. God blessed you with the most prosperous nation on earth and look what you did and permitted as the nation's legislature. The buck stops with you. Congress allowed this nightmare.

If Congress were a corporation it would be bankrupt, sued for woeful negligence, ineptitude and misconduct and put out of business. However, since Congress is funded by the taxpayers, with no real oversight, they are allowed to fail and spectacularly so. Nice work if you can get it. But then again, one would have to live with the shame of having failed a nation, leaving millions to suffer and which self-respecting person could look themselves in the mirror after doing something like that.

President Barack Obama, has approved funding for a $53 billion dollar bullet train, but cut heating subsidies for America’s poor, stating the nation can’t afford it. The Judiciary Report takes umbrage at this development. America is experiencing one of its coldest winters on record. It is even cold in Florida, with Georgia experiencing its coldest winter to date.

Yet, once again, the President has put the cart before the horse, in allotting billions for a train that is not a necessity, but a status symbol, while the poor goes cold. This is simply not right. How can this be the way.

It is another prime example of why the nation is still mired in a terrible financial crisis. The government has allowed financial corruption to batter the American people and continue to make poor fiscal choices that promote poverty instead of recovery.

The Judiciary Report stated years ago that poverty would become widespread in America, if the government was unsuccessful in stamping out the corruption in the economy that would eventually lead to a financial crisis, which happened one year after that item was published to the website ("Where this is headed...What is forming is a similar situation to what happened in India, respectfully, with a small group of rich and a large group of poor." - September 27. 2007).

This week, major news outlets are reporting, poverty has reached an all time high in America. Many Americans have hit poverty at a record pace. This was preventable and those in government and the corporate sector responsible for bringing the nation to this terrible juncture, should be punished with prison and massive fines.

`The new poor': Poverty reaches historic levels

Posted on Thursday, 09.16.10 - The number of people living in poverty has increased to record levels, with Florida hit especially hard by recession. The withering recession pushed the number of Americans who are living in poverty to a 51-year high in 2009 and left a record 50.7 million people without health insurance, the Census Bureau said Thursday.

The 43.6 million Americans who were poor last year -- up from 39.8 million the year before -- were the most since poverty estimates were first published in 1959. The national poverty rate of 14.3 percent, up from 13.2 percent in 2008, was the highest since 1994.

The bureau also found that median income -- the amount at which half of U.S. households earn more or less -- had fallen 4.2 percent by 2009 since the recession began in 2007. In Florida, the numbers were just as bad. Preliminary state figures show Florida's poverty rate increased from 12 percent in 2007 to 13.9 percent in 2009.

By comparison, from 1999 to 2007, Florida's poverty rate only inched up .3 percent. ``It is huge,'' said Mike Leachman, a senior policy analyst for the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities, a research institute. ``We are talking about a leap of about another 360,000 Floridians falling into poverty.''...
