Plane Carrying Donald Trump's Vice Presidential Running Mate Mike Pence Dangerously Skids Off Runway In New York (Video)

A Boeing 737 jet carrying Donald Trump's vice presidential pick, running mate, Mike Pence, skidded off the runway in New York last night, prompting fears for his safety. Pence, the Governor of Indiana, ended up in the grass. Pence was not hurt in the incident that occurred at LaGuardia Airport in New York City and posed for photos with firefighters summoned to the scene. "Arrestor beds" which are blocks installed at select airports, prevented the plane from skidding any further into disaster.

Pence stated, "So thankful everyone on our plane is safe. Grateful for our first responders and the concern and prayers of so many." The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating the suspicious incident that occurred at a time Trump and Pence have been gaining in the polls.

Side Bar: Prior to takeoff, rival candidate Hillary Clinton was seen walking away from Pence's plane with a wrench and a few bolts in her hands. Just kidding.

Never Let Your Ex-Girlfriend Hook You Up With One Of Her Friends (Funny True Story)

Shenaynay from "The Martin Lawrence Show"

One of my friends that I've known since I was 8-years-old, told me something she did to her ex-boyfriend that left me laughing my butt off (though I did tell her what she did is wrong). She was dating a man that she didn't want to go out with anymore, so she broke up with him, rather than stringing him along.

I don't know what he was thinking when he tasked her to hook him up with one of her friends, since they were breaking up (spite, maybe?). He told her he wants "a nice, pretty girl like you" (this was his first mistake, as what she did next was not "nice" LOL). I don't know if she was angry that he asked her to do this, but she found someone for him alright. They spoke over the phone and he paid for a plane ticket for the woman she'd found to fly out and meet him.

Shortly after, he called my friend dismayed and stunned, "The woman you have sent me has the appearance of a man." My friend found the most mannish woman she barely knew, an acquaintance and had the man buy an expensive plane ticket to fly her to his adopted home country in Europe, thinking she was sending him a stunner (he was stunned alright).

I laughed so hard when she told me what she'd done I started crying. I didn't agree with it when I found out after the fact and I did say it was wrong, but I was laughing so hard when I said it, I don't know how effective my words were in deterring her from doing something like this again.

I don't know if he was trying to make her jealous, thinking dating one of her pretty friends would make her want him back, but whatever that  was, it backfired on him badly. In short, they don't speak anymore (LOL). I know he'll never ask another ex-girlfriend that again.

Courageous 80-Year-Old Woman In Wisconsin Pilots Plane After Husband Dies During Flight

Brave 80-year-old Helen Collins assumed the reins of husband John Collins's small Cessna plane, safely landing the aircraft, after he suffered a fatal heart attack during flight. Aviation employees at Cherryland Airport in Wisconsin guided her on how to land the plane that was low on fuel, as she had no licenses or training. Collins did the best she could and miraculously survived the crash landing, with a cracked rib and injured back.

Terrafugia's Claims Of A Flying Car Is Being Disputed By Popular Tech Website (Photo)

Terrafugia's "Driven To Fly"

For years people have dreamed of flying cars, but none have come to fruition thus far. This month, Terrafugia unveiled its version of the flying car. However, the website Slash Gear disagrees, stating it is not really a flying car. The expensive model looks more like a small plane than a car, which has lead to skepticism.

Model That Was Injured In Plane Propeller Accident Released From The Hospital (Photo)

Lauren Scruggs and parents leaving hospital (Photo Credit: Stern/Double Vision Media/TMZ)

Model, "Gossip Girl" stylist and blogger, Lauren Scruggs, was released from the hospital today, after accidentally walking into a a plane propeller in December 2011. Scruggs had gone out for a flight in a small plane to view Christmas lights, when tragedy struck after she disembarked. Scruggs lost her left eye and hand, but survived a tragedy most thought she would die from.

Thank God, she is still alive, as she also sustained head injuries. Scruggs will now focus on getting a prosthetic and rebuilding her life. As the Judiciary Report stated on December 10, 2011, in spite of the accident, Scruggs is still pretty...and as you can see, she still is beautiful. It is possible for her to continue with her life and still do great things. Don't ever lose hope Lauren.

Not Even Homeland Security Will Take Fruit Cake

Exhibit A: Americans' aversion to fruit cake, as told by the "Fruit Cake" song, which is one dead wrong musical parody of legendary Sam Cooke's music.

Over the years in America, I have seen sitcom after sitcom mock the fruit cake, which is not fair (ok, some deserve it, as a fruit cake should not be able to anchor a ship). I've seen some good fruit cakes in America, then again I've seen a few fruit cakes that looked so lumpy, I wondered how one would digest something of said consistency, as it looked like it would take out one's insides on the way out and possibly back up the septic system. What am I saying, this one looks like it came out of the septic system:

"Bad Fruitcake" courtesy of This Is Real Life

Turns out, not even Homeland Security, who once took the diaper (nappy) off a senior citizen, wants to take fruit cake (Traveling with Food or Gifts). This is a shame. Jamaicans love fruit cake, but it is made differently according to island customs, pardon the pun. All the fruits and candy peel you see on an American fruit cake, are blended in a blender, then baked (aides in digestion and prevents choking as well LOL). Not to mention, it is baked with Jamaican rum, with more Jamaican rum poured over it when the cake is finished baking. Yes, really, Jamaican rum, which coincidentally cost the British battles on the island centuries ago (they got distracted by the rum...and the women).

In closing, for a smoother fruit cake this holiday season, you may want to change things up a bit by blending the fruits in a blender, then baking it with the rest of the fruit cake mixture, which will give you a nice, flavorful cake.

China Launches New Stealth Bomber To Protests From U.S. Press

Report: "China's New Stealth Fighter May Use U.S. Tech"

The Chinese government launched its new stealth fighter jet this month, to protest from some in the U.S. press, who have been stating the technology was stolen. To rebut said claim, some pointed out, China has technology of its own in the area of defense and invented gunpowder.

However, my main question is directed at every world government with this technology - if it is stealth, why can we see it. It's just like movies claiming a character is invisible, but you can still see them. Just teasing.

Why Are There So Many Plane Crashes In Iran

Iran (Photo Credit: irantrip1)

Is it just me or does Iran have a lot of plane crashes. There was another plane crash in the region last week. It seems like they are constantly in the news regarding an aircraft either bursting into flames or coming to an incorrect, deadly landing. A number of planes have crashed either going into or coming from Iran.

Is there a problem with air safety or airport management, as this keeps happening at a higher than normal rate. Someone in a position of authority needs to look into it. Upgrades need to be made to protect lives. The site concedes, crashes do happen, but this is too many.

Man Crashes Plane Into IRS Building

A disgruntled man, set his house on fire, got into his plane and deliberately crashed it into a Texas building, housing the U.S. tax revenue service known as the IRS. Employees were wounded and one is unaccounted for.

The pilot, Joe Stash, who died in the blaze, left a note behind espousing violence. It was initially thought he crashed into the building housing the FBI, but that property is located a few units over.

Official: Plane crash pilot left anti-IRS Web note

Thursday, February 18, 2010 - A software engineer furious with the Internal Revenue Service plowed his small plane into an office building housing nearly 200 federal tax employees on Thursday, officials said, setting off a raging fire that sent workers fleeing as thick plumes of black smoke poured into the air.

A U.S. law official identified the pilot as Joseph Stack and said investigators were looking at an anti-government message on the Web linked to him. The Web site outlines problems with the IRS and says violence "is the only answer." ...

"Violence not only is the answer, it is the only answer," the long note on Stack's Web site reads, citing past problems with the tax-collecting agency.

"I saw it written once that the definition of insanity is repeating the same process over and over and expecting the outcome to suddenly be different. I am finally ready to stop this insanity. Well, Mr. Big Brother IRS man, let's try something different; take my pound of flesh and sleep well," the note, dated Thursday, reads.

NWA Flight Couple: There's An FBI Cover-Up

A married couple, Kurt and Lori Haskell, both lawyers, insist another suspect was arrested on the NWA-Delta flight that terrorist, Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, unsuccessfully tried to bomb on Christmas Day.

Kurt and Lori Haskell

The Haskells stated, a well dressed man of Indian descent, talked security into allowing, Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, to board the plane in Amsterdam with no passport.

Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab being arrested

However, they also insist there was another man on the flight filming everything as it happened, who the FBI later took into custody, as bomb sniffing dogs allegedly detected an illegal explosive substance on his person. The FBI has refused to confirm the couple's allegations. However, it wouldn't be the first time the FBI did something of this nature.

Bombshell Eyewitness Revelations: Confirmed FBI Cover-Up Of Flight 253 Attack

Detroit attorney Kurt Haskell dropped bombshell revelations concerning his eyewitness experience of the Flight 253 attack and how the FBI detained a second man after dogs detected a bomb in his luggage on The Alex Jones Show today. The FBI has not only ignored Haskell’s story, but they have launched a cover-up by refusing to even acknowledge the existence of another man who filmed the entire flight, including the aborted attack, as well as the well-dressed man who aided the bomber to board the plane even though he had no passport and was on a terror watch list.

"Al Qaeda Link In Foiled Terrorist Plot"

U.S. President Barack Obama

The United States Congress is calling for hearings into the attempted bombing of an NWA airlines flight on Christmas Day, as it landed in Detroit, Michigan in America.

This winter, terrorists have ramped up their efforts against America, in deeds such as the aforementioned, Fort Hood and an attempt in Queens, New York. Something is clearly going on, creating these incidents in such close proximity to each other. It lends the appearance they are in a mad rush to bomb this nation.

Video: AP Sources: Al-Qaida Link in Failed Plane Attack - The Associated Press

Some U.S. law enforcement officials are doing damage control regarding the NWA flight, in attempting to play down the terrorist's ties to Al Qaeda, but if he is an insignificant rogue figure, merely inspired by the aforementioned terrorist faction, why was he in the United States government's watch list, on a database, as someone with terrorist ties. Said officials are contradicting themselves.

Furthermore, based on reports, the bomb he smuggled on the flight undetected, then assembled, seemed quite "sophisticated." Then there is the obvious fact he was able to get through various international security checkpoints undetected. How was he able to foil national security for three nations. That level of security breach hardly seems something a 23-year-old student could accomplish on his own with no help from experienced terrorists.

American Airlines Plane Crashes In Jamaica With No Fatalities

Christmas is a season where Jamaicans typically return to the island for a number of fun festivities. An American Airlines plane originating in Washington and stopping over in Miami, Florida, en route to Kingston Jamaica, the nation's capital, crashed while attempting to land on the runway at Norman Manley International Airport.

According to the Jamaican Security Minister, Daryl Vaz, the plane was mostly comprised of Jamaicans on their way home for the holidays.

Preliminary reports suggest, something was wrong with the plane, as it landed at an accelerated speed, crashed through a fence, began to break apart, one of the engines fell off, the fuselage split into three pieces, the aircraft skidded across a public road and stopped 10 feet from the Caribbean sea, due to a small sand hill bordering the ocean. Now that's a crash landing. That pilot totally drives like one of my friends (kidding).

40 people sustained minor injuries, including the pilot, whose arm was broken in the crash landing. It was miraculous no one died and they have to thank the Lord for that. I never take flying for granted and pray before I go to the airport.

Jamaican Government Gives Highjacker 20-Years In Prison

Steven Fray, 21, was sentenced to 83-years in prison, to run currently, amounting to 20-years incarceration in a Jamaican prison, for conducting the nation’s first ever plane hijacking.

Fray, stormed past security at one of Jamaica’s smaller, private airports and took a Canjet airplane hostage. Fray used a gun, which he discharged into the air, demanding the plane be flown to neighboring Cuba.

It was stated he was distraught over the end of a relationship with a woman in Florida. His lawyers tried to plead insanity, but the prosecutor and the judge would not hear of it. They have, however, decreed he is to receive psychiatric treatment in prison.

Side Bar: I know the Jamaican legal system well, as one of my relatives has worked extensively in it, on the side of the law, for many years and told me much about it growing up. Therefore, I don’t know why the hijacker thought the government would stand for something like this. He should have known better.

20-years in a Jamaican prison is not going to be a cakewalk, but his conduct was very egregious. I am not of the belief that people who do such things should roam around free in society, anywhere in the world. Clearly, based on what the government stated in articles, they are sending a message that such conduct will not be tolerated.

83 year sentence for Fray

Thursday, 08 October 2009 - Stephen Fray.Convicted would-be hijacker Stephen Fray was sentenced to a total of 83 years when he faced the Western Regional Gun Court in Montego Bay, St. James on Thursday.

He will however only serve a maximum of 20 years as the sentences are to run concurrently...

However after listening to the report plus an interview with the psychiatrist Dr. Wendell Abel for the second time, the judge sentenced Fray to 20 years on the three counts of shooting with intent and robbery with aggravation.

He was also given 18 years on the illegal possession of a firearm charge while the two counts of assault were discharged. He was also given one year each for the lesser charges.

Judge didn't consider his mental illness - defense attorney

Mr. Thomas believes that the judge did not take all the factors into consideration before handing down her sentence...

It was on April 19th that Fray eluded security personnel at the Sangster International Airport and attempted to hijack a CanJet flight with more than 200 passengers onboard, destined for Halifax, Canada.

He was disarmed by a flight attendant some eight hours later and a special armed forces team which stormed the plane.

Fatal Plane Accident On The Hudson River

A U.S. Airways flight attempting to ditch in the Hudson River in January 2009

A few months ago, a U.S. Airways plane crashlanded in the Hudson River in New York with no fatalities. Today, the situation was different, when a small plane and a helicopter collided, carrying Italian tourists.

It is believed eight people died in the accident. Search crews are still attempting to find survivors, while authorities are working to figure out what transpired that caused the collision.

New York mayor: Aircraft collision over Hudson not 'survivable'

NEW YORK (CNN) -- The search for nine people aboard a small plane and a helicopter that collided Saturday over the Hudson River has become a recovery mission, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said.
First responders gather on a pier after a plane and helicopter collided Saturday over the Hudson River.

Two passengers, including a child, and a pilot were believed to have been aboard the single-engine Piper PA-32 when it collided with the copter around noon between New York and Hoboken, New Jersey, Bloomberg said.

Five Italian tourists and a pilot were believed to be aboard the helicopter, an American Eurocopter AS350 operated by Liberty Helicopter Sightseeing Tours, Bloomberg said.
