Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of the late singer, Whitney Houston and R&B crooner, Bobby Brown, remains in a persistent vegetative state. She is for all intents and purposes what is known as a medical vegetable. It has been very tough for the Brown and Houston families to deal with what has transpired, as it would be for anyone under those devastating circumstances.

Bobby Brown's sister, Leolah Brown, went on record this week stating that Pat Houston, who is the executor of Whitney Houston's will and married to the singer's brother, Gary Houston, wants to bring Bobbi Kristina home from a rehabilitation facility to die, via withdrawing all life support.

Leolah Brown stated on social networking, "If Pat knew The God that I know, instead of trying to inherit my niece's money for her personal gain, she would mind her own business and go find a JOB for herself without continuously working so hard to destroy my niece, beg her for money and get angry when she cannot get it! She would stop using the Houston name for her personal agenda."

This is not the time to turn on each other. Something serious and tragic has happened. Focus on caring for Bobbi Kristina and one another. Do charity work to benefit others in similar situations as Bobbi Kristina, who was in an emotionally and physically abusive relationship plagued by drugs. Make the most of your lives while you can, as you are not promised tomorrow.

Bobby Brown And Former Sister-In-Law Pat Houston Awarded Joint Guardianship Over Whitney Houston's Daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown Who Remains In A Vegetative State

Bobbi Kristina Brown

R&B singer, Bobby Brown, has been granted joint guardianship over his 22-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who is in a persistent vegetative state. Bobbi Kristina is the only daughter of the late singing legend, Whitney Houston, who died under similar circumstances from cardiac arrest, after being found face down in a bathtub with drugs in her system (overdose).

Brown has been granted joint guardianship with former sister-in-law, Pat Houston, who is the executor of Houston's estate. The court has also appointed a conservator, Bedelia Hargrove, who is an independent lawyer. It is regrettable a conservatorship was not established prior to Bobbi Kristina's tragic overdose, after abuse at the hands of live-in boyfriend, Nick Gordon, who is a violent psychotic. It is sad that it has come to this. What a loss of a life that held so much promise, now rendered to a vegetative state. Drugs are terrible. So are abusive relationships.

Family Infighting As Bobby Brown Applies For Guardianship Of Daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown Who Is In A Persistent Vegetative State

Bobbi Kristina Brown

R&B singer, Bobby Brown, has applied with the court for guardianship of his 22-year-old daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who is in a vegetative state. Bobbi Kristina Brown was found face down in her bathtub, suffering from cardiac arrest in an unresponsive state. A combination of illegal narcotics and a fight with boyfriend, Nick Gordon, left her in that tragic state.

Bobbi Kristina is the daughter of the late pop star, Whitney Houston, who died in a Beverly Hills bathtub from a drug overdose and drowning in 2011. Houston left her estate to Bobbi Kristina. If Brown is successful in obtaining a court recognized guardianship, he will also control her estate. This has created infighting between the Houston and Brown families.

Houston and Brown split on very bad terms, which involved infidelity and domestic violence. Brown was also financially bankrupt. Some in the Houston family do not want Brown to have control over Bobbi Kristina's finances as her guardian. Brown seeks to exert control over the direction of her medical care, as some are stating it's sad to keep Bobbi Kristina alive as a medical vegetable.
