A Massive Fine Against Rupert Murdoch For Phone Hacking Could Pay Police Salaries In Britain

British police recently publicly protested cuts to their pay and potential layoffs. This occurred due to the global economic crisis, which began on Wall Street, leaving many nations feeling the financial pinch to stay on budget. The phone hacking scandal has gripped Britain for the past year, becoming more scandalous with each month, thanks to Rupert Murdoch and his corrupt company News Corp, engaging in completely debased and debauched behavior.

If the British police assessed a whopping fine against Murdoch for his widespread criminal activity on their shores, via News Corp, it could help to keep some police officers in uniform. Murdoch has damaged the Metropolitan Police with his breed of corruption and should be made to pay a price for it like any other criminal (via compensation). Hit him where it hurts (no, not there, not even Viagra can bring that one back) - in the pockets.

Allen Stanford, who was arrested and remanded into custody in 2009, over a $7 billion dollar ponzi scheme the FBI knew of for over a decade, but let continue to the detriment of the public, was found guilty on a host of criminal charges, during March 6, 2012 court proceedings.

Stanford's corrupt bank sold the domestic and international public certificates of deposit (CDs) with a high rate of return, not supported by any discernible profits. It was all a ponzi scheme to fleece the public and fund Stanford's very lavish lifestyle that included mansions around the world, wives and mistresses.

Due to the Stanford's ties to President Bush and the $5,000,000 in donations he gave Congress, the FBI, headed up by Robert S. Mueller, covered up his crimes for over a decade, which caused the damages in the case to grow to over $7 billion dollars. This represents the public's money unwittingly invested in Stanford's scam, much of which is forever lost to the ponzi scheme and his extravagant spending.

Stanford's remaining stolen, ill-gotten assets were no where near enough to even approach the amount of money the public lost, to make any type of decent financial restitution to victims (FBI has only found peanuts in missing funds).

Khalid Ali-M Aldawsari has been taken into custody, for plotting to blow up the Dallas, Texas residence of former U.S. President, George W. Bush. Aldawsari studied at school in an effort to gain entrance into the United States, with the goal of waging jihad.

By all accounts, he was an intelligent student with good grades. He should have used his education to better his nation. It is a shame he chose to waste his life on plotting acts of violence, even if the target is the most despised war criminals in the world. Bush has provoked world hatred that brought this on his doorstep.

There was a time when America did not have these problems. However, Bush's illegal and deceitful wars in the Middle East, has fostered extremism and the radicalization of many, at home and abroad. People who would not have taken such a drastic and dangerous route in life, did so out of anger and frustration, in response to the unjust wars Bush waged that continue on to this day.

Had these acts not been perpetrated against them by a cruel, spoiled tyrant that lied to his own nation, as a pretext for war to steal oil, America would not have the terrible terrorism problem it has today.

Bush has done more damage to America than anyone in world history and he used nationalism to do so, by twisting the truth. His deeds have endangered America and ironically Bush as well. He is booed at home and abroad, frequently having to cancel appearances. This criminal cruelty and shame shall be his legacy.

Bush should have been prosecuted in the Hague, incarcerated and forced to pay a substantial fine for every American, British and Middle Eastern soldier that died because he lied. He should also be forced to pay a fine for every civilian casualty as well. He should not be allowed to retire in luxury. He should be legally forced to forfeit his freedom and fortune in a court of law, for his crimes against humanity. Here was a man given a podium and opportunity to do something great in life and look at the wickedness, madness and sheer evil he chose to do.
