The halls of Congress are not hallowed. So many members of Congress have been caught red-handed taking bribes and kickbacks, in scandals that left some politicians imprisoned. It is abundantly clear, Congress operates more for America's wealthy, than the everyday citizen, evidenced by the fact, the 2008 financial crisis was allowed to happen.

Congress, as the nation's legislative body, looked the other way to corruption and assorted criminal misconduct in the corporate sector, facilitating an unprecedented economic crash that wiped away trillions in wealth. Recent scandals reveal corruption still exists in Congress, with no signs of stopping.

FBI's Sentinel Computer System Scrapped As A Failure

After four years of warnings from this website and sister site, The Sound Off Column, the FBI's computer system has been label a failure and write off, when it should not have happened this way. The remaining phases of the ill-fated Sentinel system, like the one before it, is being scrapped by the government.

In 2006, the Sound Off Column, repeatedly warned frequent site visitor, the FBI/DOJ, through a series of articles, that stretching out a computer system's creation and implementation plan would not work and years later, that's exactly what's happened.

Once again, that's your tax dollars up in smoke. Not to mention, over $150,000,000 of the computer system money is unaccounted for, also known as stolen. But don't think that will stop the FBI Director, Robert S. Mueller, from going into Congress again, demanding many millions more in tax dollars, to misappropriate and squander again.

For those of you wondering why Mueller is not in prison yet - he is a modern day Hoover, with so much illegal dirt on members of Congress and the White House, they don't want to put their own freedom in jeopardy. However, with the madness he has done that illegally extended into other countries, Congress is going to be faced with some very difficult choices in the future on an international level. In short, contrary to what he thinks, he hasn't gotten away with a single thing.

The 2008 financial crisis bankrupted a lot of innocent people, who lost their life savings, pensions, kids tuition funds, homes and cars. People worked hard, saved their money and lost everything, due to greedy people in the corporate sector that flouted the law and shunned human decency.

People promote hard work as the way to success and it is in society. However, that message is greatly diminished, especially for the youth in society, via the horrible example the government has set, in allowing people in the corporate sector, who have engaged in egregious financial crimes that harmed many in the America and the world, to roam free and continue to take advantage of hardworking people.

Congress, the FBI, DOJ and SEC, have shielded the majority of financial criminals in the corporate sector from accountability. Shame on you. Shame on you, indeed. Which path do you expect kids will aspire to walk down when they see such hypocrisy and corruption coming from the government.
