The price tag on President Barack Obama's latest initiative is ringing up at an enormous $900 billion dollars. The measure has passed in the Democrat dominated Senate and now faces the Republican led House of Representatives. As if the national deficit has not taken enough of a beating and toll on the economy. This latest sum is going to send it up even higher and damage the dollar and nation's international financial ratings.

Obama Refuses To Own Up To Election Failures

The CBS News program "60 Minutes" aired an episode featuring, U.S. President, Barack Obama, who refused to own up to the mid-term election losses his political party faced this past week. Try as the host may, Obama refused to accept responsibility for the historic losses his fellow Democrats sustained, representing political regression that set them back 68-years in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Does this level of denial, similar to that of Vice President, Joe Biden, who prior to the election, believed there would be no electoral losses and former, House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi, proclaiming a few hours before polls closed that the Democrats would retain the House of Representatives, symbolize a larger political and social disconnect from the rest of the country.

For months, the national polls were spot on correct and accurate, yet top ranking Democrats, including the President, ignored them and more alarmingly, continue to do so, even after the election has been decided. They are experiencing a form of denial and political paralysis.

How can they go forward if their minds are still in the past. They have to wake from the stupor they are in and go forward. It is time for a change. Sadly, the Obama Administration has made "change" a bad word. People don't even want to use it any more. It is no longer the word du jour.

The halls of Congress are not hallowed. So many members of Congress have been caught red-handed taking bribes and kickbacks, in scandals that left some politicians imprisoned. It is abundantly clear, Congress operates more for America's wealthy, than the everyday citizen, evidenced by the fact, the 2008 financial crisis was allowed to happen.

Congress, as the nation's legislative body, looked the other way to corruption and assorted criminal misconduct in the corporate sector, facilitating an unprecedented economic crash that wiped away trillions in wealth. Recent scandals reveal corruption still exists in Congress, with no signs of stopping.

U.S. Unemployment Benefits Receive A Second Look

The Democrats are attempting to push through legislation to extend unemployment benefits to Americans that have lost their jobs. As stated two weeks ago, the Judiciary Report was not amused when people's benefits were stalled, as for 1.3 million people in America, it could mean the difference between staying in their home or apartment or being out on the street.

I understand Republicans are concerned about where the $33.9 billion will come from to cover the costs, but it is of greater priority than other financial initiatives on the table, which need to be scrapped, such as billions for walking and bike riding paths, as is being implemented by President Obama.

I've got news for you, if one does not have a job, one does not wish to go walking, but to stay in one's house or cardboard box and feel sad, as that is the natural human instinct in such a predicament. However, it is best to get up and get out there, go for a walk around one's neighbor hood or to PREEXISTING parks that exist in virtually every U.S. city.

Another major, multi-billion dollar item that can be stricken from the U.S. budget during these hard times, is the massive electronic spying network, invading the privacy off millions of Americans, via the FBI, CIA and NSA.

If the government monitored Americans less and foreign terrorists more, they'd catch a lot more Jihadists and save many billions of dollars. Billions upon billions of taxpayer money is being wasted spying on innocent people, in violation of the U.S. Constitution. If this unruly spending continues, in the future, America government will not be able to afford a federal government.

The Judiciary Report is also still of the belief the site's job creation plan would work. The White House has simply overpaid for jobs that would not pay a third of what the government ended up allocating thereto, in the real world, which indicates bureaucracy and kickbacks ate up a lot of taxpayer money. This is something very vital the government could not afford to get wrong, but astonishingly did. They are attempting to try it again. Here's hoping it turns out better this go round.

Jesus Himself could come down from heaven, hand the government a sheet of paper with detailed instructions on how to fix the U.S. economy and they would still mess it up.

As someone who has been unlawfully and unjustly subjected to daily computer intrusions, I can attest, the fact of the matter is, anything can be hacked. Any system can be foiled and the contents compromised or stolen.

Speaking from the Rose Garden after the squeaker 220-215 Saturday-night vote, Obama urged senators to be like runners on a relay team and "take the baton and bring this effort to the finish line on behalf of the American people."

Instead, he met with immediate resistance If a government plan is part of the deal, "as a matter of conscience, I will not allow this bill to come to a final vote," Sen. Joe Lieberman, the Connecticut independent whose vote Democrats need to overcome a GOP filibusters, told "Fox News Sunday." Lieberman said he was concerned about new government spending the health-care legislation would entail, saying deficits have gotten gargantuan. "I don't want to do that to our children and grandchildren," he said.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), on CBS's "Face the Nation," declared, "The House bill is dead on arrival in the Senate." "It was bill written by liberals for liberals, and people like Joe Lieberman are not going to get anywhere near the House bill . . . It is a nonstarter in the Senate." He said he firmly believes "the public option will destroy private health care."

Joe Wilson Censured For Obama Outburst

Republican congressman, Joe Wilson, was officially censured by the House of Representatives, for an outburst last week, which saw him call President Obama a liar.

Since the incident, Wilson has received a significant cash infusion for his campaign, via donations from conservatives that have rallied around him.

However, due to his refusal to apologize to the House of Representatives, only stating sorry to President Obama, he was censured in a formal motion.

Judge Samuel Kent Impeached

The U.S. House of Representatives has impeached federal judge, Samuel Kent, as he was convicted of sexually assaulting two women that worked in the courthouse he maintained chambers.

Upon the jury reaching a guilty verdict, Kent irresponsibly blamed alcoholism for all his problems. His rulings often contained sarcasm, nastiness, arrogance, bullying and insults, all violations of the Judicial Canons, governing federal judges.

The House was forced to impeach him, when he did not resign, in a bid to collect over $174,000 per year in salary, which judges are guaranteed for life, unless they are removed under certain circumstances. He forced Congress' hand and they called his bluff.

The U.S. judiciary still has federal judges on the bench, operating in criminal violation of the law, accepting cash and stock bribes, to rule in favor of criminals.

It is apart of the reason the U.S. economic crisis has reached such unprecedented levels, as some judges, deliberately failed to bring wealthy criminals to justice, who have been running running ponzi schemes, scams and financial frauds, in cases brought before them, that they accepted bribes to corrupt. Said conduct is destroying America.

House impeaches federal judge from Texas

Jun 19 03:31 PM US/Eastern - WASHINGTON (AP) - The House has impeached a federal judge from Texas for lying about the sexual assaults of two women. It was the House's first impeachment vote since it brought charges against President Bill Clinton in 1998.

The vote Friday sets up a trial in the Senate on the impeachment charges against U.S. District Judge Samuel Kent.

Kent entered a federal prison in Massachusetts Monday to serve a 33-month sentence for lying about sexually assaulting two female employees.

Kent is refusing to resign until next year so he can draw his $174,000 a year salary while in prison. If he is convicted of the impeachment charges in the Senate, he will be forced out of office and his pay will be cut off.

House committee sends judge's impeachment to House

Dick DeGuerin, Kent's attorney, sent a letter to the committee late Tuesday saying the women's testimony was "greatly exaggerated and flatly false." He denied allegations that Kent had used racial slurs against African Americans, saying Kent has been given many awards by the NAACP.
