Chris Brown
R&B singer Chris Brown was in court today for a
probation hearing, in connection with the Rihanna domestic violence
case. Judge James Brandlin stated Brown is doing well, with his only
recent offense being a "speeding ticket." Brown's probation is
slated to end in January 2015 and to make that date, the judge has
increased the singer's community service days from three to four per
week to keep him on track.
In other news, Brown stated on Access Hollywood that
he sees a therapist twice a week. This is helpful to his situation
and hopefully will help him gain insight into his child hood and the
abuse he experienced at the hands of his stepfather, who also beat
his mother. Brown stated, "I talk to my therapist twice a week
whether it’s good or bad… I think it’s good to have somebody that
you can vent to. Somebody that understands situations and is not
judgmental… as a young guy coming up in the industry at 15, you
don’t really get that, you don’t get the crash course. You don’t get the course on how to grow up and how to learn from
your mistakes and handle situations differently."
