Lil Wayne Facing 1-Year In Prison

Lil men usually don't fare too well in prison

Atheist rapper Lil Wayne has been sentenced to 1-year in prison on illegal gun possession charges. He pled guilty today in a New York court. This is not the rapper's first brush with the law, as he was previously arrested for drug possession.

It's time for Lil Wayne to shed that dangerous lifestyle he glorifies in his music and attempts to live out in his personal life, as he has children and more on the way. It's difficult to be a dad when you are in prison.

Forsaking the Bible for the dictionary, as you claim, was also unwise, as the dictionary can't save you, but Jesus can.

Lil Wayne pleads to attempted gun possession

NEW YORK — Lil Wayne, who owned last year's best-selling album and is currently No. 1 on the pop charts, pleaded guilty to attempted weapon possession on Thursday, and expects to receive a one-year jail sentence.

The performer, arguably rap's most popular artist and one of pop's biggest acts, previously had pleaded not guilty to illegal gun possession charges that carried at least 3 1/2 years in jail upon conviction. He remains free on bail while awaiting his February sentencing...

Jay-Z Gets Cozy With Female Singer

...Not His Wife

Rapper and adulterer, Jay-Z, was pictured with one of his paramours, Bridget Kelly, his back-up singer, he has signed to his new phony record label, Roc Nation. Not impressed.

Jay-Z and back-up singer, turned artist, Bridget Kelly getting cozy, sans Beyonce

The two were spotted getting cozy over drinks in a Vancouver night club. It's amazing and embarrassing how Jay-Z, the inspiration for the Joe Camel cigarette boxes (cancer sticks), is often seen getting close with other women, such as the aforementioned and Rihanna, but rarely his wife, singer Beyonce Knowles.

TLC Held Clive Davis At Gunpoint

TLC

Further proof that TLC's late member, Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes, was not of sound mind, arrived this week, courtesy of bandmate, Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins stating they unadvisedly held their label boss, Clive Davis of Arista Records, at gunpoint, due to the low royalties they received.

She stated Arista made $75 million dollars off their "Crazy, Sexy Cool" album, but only paid the three band members $50,000 each.

I agree that Arista, who had a subsidiary deal with LaFace Records and a production contract with Pebbitone, could have given them more.

Tionne Watkins

Arista made more than enough money that they could have spread the wealth, buy major labels are usually greedy and crooked, refusing to do so.

Clive Davis

TLC was later given a multi-million dollar settlement by LaFace Records. Pebbitone should have bypassed Laface and done a direct subsidiary deal with a major label, having done the work in putting TLC together in the first place. But you live and learn.

T-Boz on Monique Show: TLC's Crazy, Sexy Cool made $75 million, Arista records gave us $50,000 each

October 22, 2:11 PM - T-Boz -- real name Tionne Tenese Watkins -- one of the well-known members of the group TLC on The Mo'Nique Show, saying that when their highly successfully Crazy, Sexy, Cool album generated $75 million for Arista Records, Arista only gave the girls $50,000 a piece.

So, the late member Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes decided the group should hold Arista hostage with loaded guns till they got their money.

T-Boz said they interrupted a meeting that Sean "P Diddy" or "Puff Daddy" Combs was having at the time, because LA Reid told them that Clive Davis was the one who had their money.

Alas, T-Boz tells Mo'Nique that Arista did return some funds to them, but then recouped it somehow -- and that the whole incident became a learning lesson for the young trio.

"I wouldn't say do what we did...thank God we didn't go to jail," T-Boz advised young women today getting into the music industry. "Educate yourself. Learn about the business you're getting into."

Dems vs. Repubs

U.S. President Barack Obama

The war in Washington between the Democrats and the Republicans is getting scary again, like Madonna without makeup.

America’s two main political parties are virulently fighting each other, even going as far as shutting off lights in meetings out of disgust and locking the opposition out of hearings for allegedly behaving like children.

They are also duking it out in the polls and fundraising, with Congressional infighting reaching new highs.

As Rodney King said “Can’t we all just get along.” Of course not. It’s politics. The so-called power struggle and party affiliations often carries more influence than seeking what’s best for a nation.

New York Times Slams Obama Praise For FBI

Hear Hear!

U.S. President Barack Obama and FBI Director Robert S. Mueller

The New York Times slammed President Obama's decision to praise corrupt FBI Director Robert S. Mueller and co. yesterday.

Mr. Obama should be careful in his dealings with Mr. Mueller. He and others routinely provided former President George W. Bush with illegally obtained information and a very false sense of security, whilst engaging in wrongdoing and telling the world, "Trust me, I'm the President."

Where did that get George W. Bush? He is now ensconced in the anus, excuse me, annals of world history as the worst president ever.

When you stand with criminals, you will fall with them as well.

In Praise of Help That Hurts

Published: October 20, 2009 - Give a president — any president — seven minutes in the office of a law enforcement agency, and you are bound to be splattered by the praise words flying everywhere.

You are not, of course, in any danger of being clubbed with candor.

So on Tuesday, when President Obama stopped by the F.B.I.’s offices in Lower Manhattan on his way to a political fund-raiser, the accolades were lavished on all present, like a middle-school soccer league awards ceremony where everyone is a winner.

Just a few weeks ago, a team of F.B.I. agents and New York police investigators arrested a man who they said was planning a bomb attack. Others were charged with lying to investigators.

This was an example, Mr. Obama said, of cooperation among federal and local authorities, a state of grace much discussed and rarely achieved, given the enduring attachment to turf.

“You’re showing us what focused and integrated counterterrorism work really looks like,” Mr. Obama said.

Well.

Actually, there are serious, unsettled questions about whether “integrated counterterrorism work” is really all that we saw with those arrests last month...

So was the city’s intelligence division working with the F.B.I., and did it just happen that a reasonable decision to question the imam turned out badly? Or did the division simply jump into another agency’s investigation?

That depends on whom you ask.

In Congressional briefings, two competing narratives have emerged, according to an official who was present and, because of the elephantine institutional egos involved in the dispute, did not want to be named.

The police department said that it was working all along with the F.B.I., through a joint terrorism task force that includes both F.B.I. agents and city police officers, according to the official. But some federal agents were outraged, the official said...

For now, the full facts about the questioning of the imam also remain unanswered. Even so, the gloss of unambiguous success was laid on by the presidential visit on Tuesday.

“Your collaboration earned the respect and gratitude not just of New Yorkers but of Americans everywhere,” Mr. Obama said.

Well, maybe not everywhere.

Michael Jackson Will Labeled Forged

Michael looked like he was higher than a satellite in that pic

Few could have imagined Michael Jackson would meet such a sad, untimely end, but compounding the tragedy is news from Los Angeles that his will appears to be a forgery.

The Jackson family stated it is not Michael’s signature on the will. Additionally, the will that was signed in Los Angeles, conflicts with photographic evidence showing the pop singer on the other side of the country in New York, at a protest with the Rev. Al Sharpton, slamming Sony and then C.E.O. Tommy Mottola and their conduct regarding the entertainer’s career.

Which brings me back to the point I have been making for months, when an artist, particularly a black one, owns a copyrighted catalog (music publishing ect) of any volume and value, said artist becomes a target for destruction by the Hollywood system, which is essentially a cabal, that still has its feet firmly trenched in racism and that old time slavery mentality.

Michael Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton

Well, you guys have really done it this time. The most famous entertainer in the world is dead and under very suspicious circumstances. The world is not amused. I predict nothing but bad will come of this for Hollywood.

First Sam Cooke, who was the first black man to demand and own his own music publishing, now Jackson, who had half ownership in the Sony catalog, winds up dead as well, in a situation that is so suspect.

Hollywood has nastier secrets it is hiding in the same vein, pardon the pun. However, when it goes public and it will, it’s going to be a wrap for certain executives and a few famous names as well.

It’s really sad and pathetic when apart of the corporate sector, traded on Wall Street, that is supposed to be about entertainment, is capable of murder to steal others’ assets and labor.

Then Hollywood wonders why its sales are in the toilet. No one wants to support such madness and villainy. If this madness continues it is only a matter of time before its spells Hollywood’s financial epitaph.

Jackson's Will -- Randy Says Not MJ's Signature

Posted Oct 21st 2009 1:35PM by TMZ Staff - Randy Jackson claims Michael Jackson could not have signed his 2002 will, because he was 2,475 air miles away from the place the document was supposedly inked.

According to the will, it was signed on July 7, 2002 at 5:00 PM in Los Angeles. Randy Jackson tells TMZ he has proof MJ was in New York from July 5 through July 9, on a campaign against Sony honcho Tommy Mottola, claiming Mottola had a thing against Black artists.

The lawyer for the estate, Howard Weitzman, tells TMZ the witnesses to the will were face-to-face with Jackson when he signed the document. Weitzman would not say if the will was signed in L.A., even though the document refers to Los Angeles...

UPDATE: TMZ spoke with Al Sharpton's rep, Rachel Noerdlinger, who confirms Sharpton and Jackson were protesting Mottola in NY together in 2002 on July 6th and July 9th.

As the for the key date -- July 7th -- Sharpton's rep released the following curious statement:

"We have reason to believe that Michael may have been in NY on the 7th and Rev. Sharpton will address this after he discusses it with the Jackson family."

When Ink Turns To Blood

Several journalists were induced to write antagonistic stories about Michael Jackson, particularly, former vile Fox News gossip columnist, Roger Friedman, who was fired over his unwise choices in the “Wolverine” film leak scandal.

He wrote nagging, nasty articles, regularly proclaiming in a mean manner that Jackson was about to lose his home to foreclosure and his music publishing catalog, he’d borrowed money against. He kept proclaiming Jackson’s ruination was impending and of the greatest proportions.

Friedman and others, prompted by individuals that sought to take Jackson’s assets, through an unlawful plot, did this to relentlessly goad, upset, vex and worry the pop singer, into abandoning all that he had worked for since childhood and purchased with his own earnings.

As the world now knows, the immense pressure from the court circuit and the press, caused Jackson great anxiety, which begat insomnia.

To address what clearly became a nervous disorder, Jackson turned to prescription meds in large doses, leading to his demise this past summer at the age of 49.

Hollywood has more scammers and con artists than any other industry in the nation and world. People in tinseltown routinely conspire to bring others down to criminally steal millions and sometimes billions of dollars in cash and assets.

Bribes are often paid to those willing to set people up and make false accusations that deteriorate victims’ financial position, enabling industry sharks to move in on their prey.

Frivolous litigation is often initiated directly and or indirectly through third parties, in an effort to financially weaken, distress and psychologically batter targets chosen for their valuable assets. It is as bad the mafia, but worse in some ways, with both entities not above resorting to murder to get what they want.

The Sexualization Of Youth

Britney Spears

Pop singer, turned pop psycho, Britney Spears and current reigning teen queen, Miley Cyrus, exemplify cases of the teenage sexualization of modern culture.

Britney Spears started the terrible trend, at age 15, by callously utilizing highly sexual music videos, raunchy dance routines and lewd photos.

Cyrus, though not as bad as Spears, seems to be following the same sad path, with the overtly sexual photos, racy performances on a stripper pole, once again at age 15.

Miley Cyrus

Recently, she made a cameo appearance in the explicit “Sex And The City” sequel, currently being filmed, wearing a short dress and push up bra.

Where red flags should have been raised in these cases, over the last decade, underage raunchiness has encouraged by handlers in Hollywood, who have no morals themselves.

Teen pregnancy rates surged and society was made worse for it, as Hollywood, obsessed with pedophilia, tried to reinforce the terrible topic to the world, as acceptable behavior, when it is not and never will be.

Objectifying teens, especially those underage, is unethical.
