Vanilla Ice Could Face Prison For Stealing $7,000 In Property From A Vacant Florida House

Miami rapper, Vanilla Ice, famous for the multi-platinum 1990s song "Ice Ice Baby" and for being swung over a high-rise balcony by former Death Row Records CEO and Bloods gang member, Marion "Suge" Knight, has been arrested for grand theft larceny in Florida.

Vanilla Ice stole $7,000 worth of items from a Palm Beach county home, adjacent to a property he was renovating for his reality show "Vanilla Ice Project." He has made millions renovating and flipping homes, but stands accused of stealing a $3,000 pool heater, sofa, table, patio chairs and bicycles from a neighboring property. The former rapper filmed the mischief for his reality show, which is now testifying against him.

This is not Vanilla Ice's first run in with the law. Previously, he was arrested in South Florida for domestic violence, after beating his wife in a moving car. If convicted of grand theft larceny in connection with his current arrest, he could face prison time.

Public Protests On Behalf Of 90-Year-Old Florida Man Arrested Three Times For Feeding The Homeless

90-year-old chef, World War II veteran and civil rights activist, Arnold Abbott, who has been feeding the homeless for many years, has become the victim of a new ordinance in the South Florida city of Fort Lauderdale, which neighbors Miami. People in Fort Lauderdale are no longer allowed to feed the homeless in public places. It must be done in a building sanctioned by the city.

For many years, Abbott, a Christian, has been feeding the homeless hearty meals he cooks, even ordering them pizza from restaurants. He also runs a culinary school teaching the homeless how to cook and find jobs. Many have spoken up in favor of Albert. Even the police look embarrassed to cite Abbott and two local preachers who are helping his effort. However, police are acting on the orders of local lawmakers. Each citation carries a fine of $500 and up to two months in jail. Abbott successfully fought a similar ban in 1999. Protests have been held in support of Abbott.

If Arnold is jailed on one of these citations, the Judiciary Report will start an online campaign on this site, encouraging the public to vote out every single lawmaker responsible for the ordinance. Each lawmaker responsible for the ordinance will be listed by name on this site in the lead up to the local elections, with the request the public vote for your rival (and if I do the online campaign right, you guys will be homeless and need Arnold's food *tongue in cheek statement*).

In all seriousness, being homeless is a terrible thing for many. Do not penalize the people trying to help the homeless. It's cruel. There are so many problems plaguing society. Picking on and arresting a 90-year-old man, who has been feeding the homeless for decades, is wrong and should not be a priority. That's not what you were elected to do and the people of South Florida and many more all over the country are not with you in targeting him, wasting taxpayer money.

History has repeated itself. In the 1990s, Bobby Brown, the husband of the late singer, Whitney Houston, flipped her expensive sports car in South Florida, after driving under the influence. Fast forward two decades and Nick Gordon, the husband of Houston's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, flipped a BMW she bought him, while driving under the influence, according to police.

Brown and Gordon are in a bad place, struggling with the death of the legendary superstar. Friends of Houston have been reaching out to Brown regarding the dangers of drugs, with the hope she and Gordon will enter rehab, to avoid history repeating itself, via another tragic overdose in their family. It's sad that this is happening, as they have so much potential.

Miami Rapper Trick Daddy Arrested On Cocaine And Gun Charges

On April 3, 2014, Miami rapper Tricky Daddy, real name Maurice Young, 40, who is famous for the songs "Nann" and "I'm A Thug" was arrested by police in South Florida for cocaine possession (1 gram), possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and driving on a suspended license. Police had the rapper's home under surveillance and witnessed him commit the aforementioned felonies.

Before he shot to fame in 1998, Trick Daddy was arrested in 1991 on cocaine possession and gun charges, a violation of his probation on a previous conviction. He was arrested again in 2003 for illegally possessing a firearm, during a basketball court altercation in Miami, which constituted another probation violation.

Much of the money Trick Daddy made from his music career was spent and lost on various items. The rapper lost his large South Florida home in Broward County to foreclosure and moved to a smaller one in Mirimar, Florida, just outside Miami, where he was arrested. The rapper was also diagnosed with Lupus and went public with information on his medical condition, due to questions about his skin discoloration. He stated he stopped taking his medicine, due to side effects, but the Judiciary Report would like to encourage him to go back on his medication and also enroll in rehab.

World class boxing champ Wladimir Klitschko, 38, is here in Miami this week. Local news stations interviewed him at The Heavyweight Factory Gym in neighboring Hollywood, Florida, just minutes outside of Miami. Yesterday, he spoke about boxing, his brother, fellow boxer Vitali Klitschko, his love life and separately Russian President Vladimir Putin and the conflict in his native Ukraine.

Klitschko was interrupted during his training session by former heavyweight champion, Shannon Briggs, who threw a shoe at him and began issuing threats. He used the standard line boxing critics and rivals use, stating the person in question doesn't fight any real competition and needs to get in the ring with (fill in the blank). It was quite entertaining (LOL).

It's been an interesting month in boxing. First Carl Froch pushed George Groves. Then Tyson Fury flipped over a table during a press conference while verbally slamming rival Dereck Chisora. Now Briggs goes after Klitschko. Wonder if Money May (Floyd Mayweather) feels like doing any trash talking before his fight with Marcos Maidana scheduled for May 3, 2014.

Former NFL football player, Chad Ochocinco Johnson, was thrown in jail today for contempt of court, after slapping his lawyer’s butt during a domestic violence hearing. The hearing was held regarding the football player's domestic violence case for head butting his ex-wife, reality star, Evelyn Lozada.

When Johnson slapped his attorney's backside, it caused the court to erupt in laughter, which angered the judge, who stated, "I just saw you slap your attorney on the backside. There is nothing funny about what’s going on here today...this is not a joke. Everybody in the court room was laughing. I’m not accepting his plea." The judge further stated of Johnson that he is to be "remanded into custody" to "serve 30-days in jail." In a strange and foolish tirade, alleged singer, Rihanna, slammed the entire New York Knicks basketball team, when an Instagram user asked her about one of its stars, J.R. Smith. The drug addicted alcoholic launched into an offensive tirade stating of Smith, "F**k you and your wack a*s team." Smith responded, "I'm not worried about Instagram, I'm worried about the playoffs!"

The Miami Heat are my favorite team, have been since their inception when I was a kid, but give credit where credit is due - the Knicks are a storied, accomplished team. They have so much history and many great players have worn their jersey. The Miami and New York rivalry has also been sweet for years, due to the sheer amount of New Yorkers living in South Florida. 

But back to my point, why refer to the entire team as "wack." It was disrespectful. It's one thing to joke about a team, but calling them "wack" especially when you have a song deal with the NBA, was foolish and unnecessary. It was the words of a fool believing her own hype her record company paid for in the press.

Last Friday morning when football player Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson woke up, he was in his Florida mansion with his wife of a few weeks, Evelyn Lozada, in possession of a newly minted, lucrative contract with the NFL team the Miami Dolphins and had a reality show in the bag titled "Ev and Ocho" that was about to air on the VH-1 network. 

Fast forward one day and Johnson was arrested for domestic violence, fired from the football team, his reality show terminated before it even aired, his wife announced she is filing for divorce (and now has) and his money is at stake, in what will be a painful division of assets and a possible lawsuit for assault. A lot can change in a day.

Judge And Her Family Subject Of Police Raid On Easter Sunday

A black South Florida District Judge, Illona Holmes, was held at gunpoint on Easter Sunday, as she and her family were the subject of a mistaken identity case. A neighbor called to report a suspected burglary, but the police went to the wrong house.

The police, who are accused of not identifying themselves, stormed the property of Holmes' sister, Carmita Scarlett, demanding everyone exit the home. Scarlett, who cried over the incident, says she looked through her kitchen window, only to see a man with a gun pointed at her, who she later discovered was a police officer.

Holmes, who is licensed to carry a weapon, drew her gun and ran forward, when she heard her sister scream, "There is a man with a gun and he's going to shoot me!" The judge then exclaimed, "Who are you? What are you doing?" and that's when they finally identified themselves as the police. A officer recognized the judge, after she identified herself and ordered his fellow policemen to lower their guns. The officer also temporarily confiscated the judge's weapon and removed the bullets.

The police officers then got into an argument with the family. According to Scarlett, the officers behaved as though they were the victims and not the family, who is upset they have not been given an apology over the incident. An officer who had a gun on Scarlett told her, "I was fearing for my life. Forget it - I'm out of here."

Judge Holmes has retained noted attorney, Kendall Coffey, to represent her in the matter, but has not disclosed whether she will file suit. In short, this family could have been killed and that is very serious. There seems to be a rash of police officers not identifying themselves as such, before approaching people in an aggressive, physical manner. That is a recipe for disaster.

It has been revealed, Former Haitian President, Jean-Claude Duvalier and his ex-wife, Michele Bennett, stole money from a $20,000,000 charitable gift, the Canadian government gave to the people of Haiti to build a hospital. Montreal has been home to Haitian immigrants for decades and the donation was an expression of kindness in light of this fact. However, driven by greed, the Duvaliers raided the fund for their own personal use, buying themselves many luxury items, such as designer clothes, jewelry, sports cars and expensive foreign homes.

It makes the Judiciary Report angry to read such accounts and reinforces the site's view, both Duvalier and Bennett, should be prosecuted and forced to forfeit every dime and worldly possession. So many Haitians fled their homeland under the Duvaliers' oppressive, murderous rule and had to start new lives in other nations. Justice must be served regarding the atrocities committed against Haiti's dead at home and departed Diaspora.

This week, her friend and fellow congresswoman, Debra Wasserman Schultz, spoke of Giffords opening her eyes for the first time after being shot in the head by anti-Semitic, Hitler supporting, Loughner.

Wasserman Schultz stated, she told Giffords to open her eyes and she tried to, but did not at first. Then, she started encouraging her more, telling her they would go out for pizza and lo and behold, Giffords opened her eyes. When I read that bit about the congresswoman (food), I remembered the television show "The Nanny" and jokingly thought to myself about Giffords, "Yep, she's Jewish" (smile).

I also remembered music producer, Scott Storch, who gave his production company the name "Tuff Jew" - but considering Giffords took a bullet to the head and kept ticking, I think she earned that title. May she recover and find her stride again.

Next up is drug addict and porn star, Devon James, who lied about Tiger Woods being the father of her child and is shopping a sex tape, she says features the golfer. However, a man named, Teneal Goyco, has come forward stating he is the male on the sex tape and not Woods. This prompted James' husband, Nick James, to allegedly issue racial slurs to Goyco via Facebook.

It is being alleged James' husband stated to Goyco in a Facebook message, "We have never even met your nig*er as*... What you gonna run away from process server...I heard black people are fast but not that fast. I'll beat that bell pepper nose off your lying black as* motherf*****." Ok, then (sarcasm). How ironic. He's exploiting a black golfer for money, while slurring back people.

Properties have not rebounded after the 2008 financial crisis, as many that previously bought or built homes at premium prices, are currently saddled with devalued real estate, worth as little at 25% of their original value.
