Airline Sued For Making Disabled Man Crawl To The Airplane Not Getting Him A Wheelchair

Delta Airlines has been sued by, D. Baraka Kanaan, a disabled man from Hawii for making him have to crawl to the airplane along the tarmac, up the steps, then to his seat, as they did not have a wheelchair available for him to use. Kanaan stated he requested a wheelchair weeks in advance.

The problem occurred again on his return flight. This entire episode was a blatant violation of the Americans With Disabilities Act and Delta needs to fix this and fix it fast. Airports are usually excellent at having wheelchairs available. Someone did not do their job in this case and a disabled man paid the price for it.

Disabled man sues airline, claiming he was 'forced to crawl'

July 29, 2013 - A man from Hawaii filed a lawsuit against Delta Air Lines claiming that in July 2012 he had to crawl across the tarmac while traveling to and from Nantucket because the airline failed to accommodate a severe disability that left him unable to use his legs.

According to the suit, filed July 23 in U.S. District Court in Hawaii, D. Baraka Kanaan was "forced to crawl across an airport tarmac, up and down the stairs of an airplane, down the aisle of the aircraft and out of and into his seat" while boarding a flight last summer from Maui to Nantucket and again when boarding a return flight from Nantucket to Maui, where Kanaan lives...

President Criticizes U.S. Intelligence Agencies

U.S. President Barack Obama

Today, President Barack Obama strongly criticized the F.B.I. and C.I.A.'s failure to "connect the dots" using existing intelligence information, in the attempted Christmas Day bombing of an airplane landing in Detroit. It has been reported, dozens of names have now been moved from the terrorist watch list to the no fly list, as it was revealed, terrorist Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, was on the former, not the latter.

President Says U.S. Missed Key Bomb Clues

JANUARY 5, 2010, 9:51 P.M. ET - WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama, in his harshest remarks yet on the terrorism threat facing the nation, said U.S. intelligence agencies knew that al Qaeda in Yemen was targeting the U.S., but "failed to connect those dots" to thwart a Christmas Day bombing attempt.

The remarks capped a day in which the president, facing heat from Republicans over what they paint as a lackluster initial response, summoned most of his cabinet and security team to meetings on counterterrorism in an effort to show his administration's engagement on the issue...

Obama sharply criticizes intelligence failure in Christmas bombing attempt

Posted: 01/05/2010 06:50:40 PM PST - WASHINGTON — President Barack Obama said Tuesday that U.S. intelligence agencies could have prevented the attempt to bomb an airliner on Christmas Day, and used a grim and forceful White House statement to demand rapid improvements in efforts to protect Americans from attack.

"This was not a failure to collect intelligence," Obama said after meeting with senior national security and intelligence officials, "it was a failure to integrate and understand the intelligence that we already had. ....That's not acceptable, and I will not tolerate it."...

"Our intelligence community failed to connect those dots," the president said. "We have to do better, and we will do better, and we have to do it quickly. American lives are on the line."...

Obama Links Christmas Terror Plot To Al Qaeda

Video: Obama Links Bomb Plot, Al Qaeda

In U.S. President Barack Obama’s weekly speech to the nation, he linked the attempted Christmas Day bombing of an NWA-Delta flight, to the terrorist group Al Qaeda and one of their cells in Yemen.

It was the first time the Obama administration publicly made this connection. The President of Yemen has pledge his support to an American/British led task force on terrorism in the region.

Yemen president to work with U.S. to boost security

SANAA (Reuters) - Yemen's president met a top U.S. general on Saturday to discuss boosting military cooperation, after President Barack Obama tied al Qaeda's regional arm to the Christmas Day attempt to blow up a U.S. passenger jet.

Yemen also said it was tightening security along its coastline to prevent Islamist militants infiltrating from Somalia. However, a local Shi'ite rebel group said it was ready to talk peace with President Ali Abdullah Saleh once fighting in its conflict with the Sanaa government had stopped.

U.S. General David Petraeus met Saleh for talks focusing on strengthening security, military and economic cooperation, an official said. Petraeus, who heads the U.S. Central Command, also handed over a letter from Obama...

Anwar Awlaki: I'm Alive

Anwar al Awlaki

Terrorist imam, Anwar Awlaki, released a message claiming he is alive. If he's alive, the government needs to go catch him and find out what he knows. A lot of vital informant would be found out.

He should hope the F.B.I. catches him, because if it's the C.I.A. they are going to do to him what Michael Vick did to those dogs.

Anwar al Awlaki (right) last month

Awlaki is claiming he is not connected with Al Qaeda, yet his name keeps popping up in terrorist attacks, such as 9/11, Fort Hood and the attempted Christmas Day bombing of an NWA-Delta airline flight.

Why was he connected to the 9/11 bombers, the Fort Hood killer and the NWA Christmas Day bomber. You are the common thread that binds these people. If you are innocent, prove it - go in for questioning at the nearest F.B.I. field office.

'I'm Alive,' Says Yemen Radical Anwar Awlaki Despite U.S. Attack

Denies Ties to al Qaeda As U.S. Officials Probe His Ties to Christmas Day Bomb Attempt and Fort Hood Shooting

Dec. 31, 2009 - A week after U.S. and Yemeni officials said the radical Yemen cleric Anwar Awlaki may have been killed in a U.S.-backed Christmas eve air strike, a Yemeni journalist says Awlaki has surfaced to proclaim, "I'm alive."

"He said the house that was attacked was two or three kilometers away from him and he was not there," the journalist, Abdulelah Hider Shaea, told ABC News. He said he talked to Awlaki on the phone and recognized his voice from previous interviews...

The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that Awlaki is "emerging as the central focus" of the attempted Christmas Day bombing of a Northwest flight over Detroit.

Awlaki denies he is part of al Qaeda and told the Yemeni journalist, in an interview published in the Washington Post, that while he considered Major Hasan "a hero" he did not pressure him to take any action...

Ties Between Abdulmutallab And Awlaki Solidified

Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab as a teen

As the investigation into the attempted bombing of an NWA-Delta airplane on Christmas Day continues, sources are uncovering ties between failed suicide bomber, Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab and imam, Anwar al Awlaki, who also communicated with and influenced Fort Hood shooter, Nidal Malik Hasan.

People in Yemen have publicly claimed, Anwar al Awlaki, was not killed during a raid on Christmas Eve, but other Al Qaeda members were in the bombing.

Dick Cheney Slams Obama On National Security

President Barack Obama

Former Vice President of the United States, Dick Cheney, a distant cousin of current Commander-in-Chief, Barack Obama, has slammed the kinfolk, over the attempted Christmas Day bombing of a NWA-Delta airlines flight.

However, Dick Cheney and the Bush Administration are to blame as well, as they thought up the poorly maintained terrorist watch list and separately the no fly list, which contained so many innocent people, mixed in with terrorist names, it lost its effectiveness.

The various branches of federal law enforcement and intelligence, do not appear to be communicating with each other, carrying on a turf war. The CIA has much greater intel than the FBI, but there are items the latter sometimes stumbles across, which they keep to themselves and vice versa.

Former Vice President of the United States, Dick Cheney

As stated with the Fort Hood terrorist attack, files are not being cross-referenced. The United States has the capability to address and defeat the terrorist threat, but there are a significant number of problems that need to be addressed. Another issue is certain "powers that be" in the United States government are reluctant to change.

In the January 21, 2008 Judiciary Report article entitled "The FBI Wiretapped 27 Million Calls In One Year" the site stated, "Recently, it was reported the FBI wiretapped 27 million phone calls in one year. Are there really that many terrorists in America. The country would cease to exist if there was that much terrorist activity in one year and not one terrorist has been caught via wiretapping...What were these 27 million calls about, then. No wonder the agency can't pay its phone bill."

This lack of focus, also showed itself in the terrorist watch list, as it has so many names on it, close to 1 million, how are they going to have the time to properly investigate everyone. So the names just sit there and people who belong on the more serious no fly list, do not get placed on it in a timely fashion. No one bothered to tackle the gross inaccuracies and shortcomings contained therein.

Barack Obama gets an 'F' for protecting Americans

December 30th, 2009 - There is no more solemn duty for an American commander-in-chief than the marshalling of “every element of our national power” – the phrase Obama himself used on Monday – to protect the people of the United States. In that key respect, Obama failed on Christmas Day, just as President George W. Bush failed on September 11th (though he succeeded in the seven years after that).

Yes, the buck stops in the Oval Office. Obama may have rather smugly given himself a “B+” for his 2009 performance but he gets an F for the events that led to Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab boarding a Detroit-bound plane in Amsterdam with a PETN bomb sewn into his underpants. He said today that a “systemic failure has occurred”. Well, he’s in charge of that system.

The picture we’re getting is more and more alarming by the hour. Here are some key elements to consider:

1. Abdulmutallab’s father spoke several times to the US Embassy in Abuja, Nigeria and visited a CIA officer there to tell him, apparently, that he feared his son was a jihadist being trained in Yemen. According to CNN, the CIA officer wrote up a report, which then sat in the CIA headquarters at Langley for several weeks without being disseminated to the rest of the intelligence community. This was not just a casual encounter. Again according to CNN, there were at least two face-to-face meetings, telephone calls and written correspondence with the father. If it’s true that the CIA sat on this then it beggars belief.

2. After 9/11, the huge bureaucracies of the Homeland Security Department and the Directorate of National Intelligence (DNI) were created. Inside the DNI, the National Counter Terrorism Center was created. These organisations were created to “connect the dots”. It may well be that the fault lay with NCTC and not the CIA – CIA spokesman George Little says here that “key biographical information” and information about “possible extremist connections in Yemen” was passed to NCTC. If NCTC knew about it, then did someone at the National Security Council within the White House? There’s a huge blame game beginning so we’ll no doubt know soon enough.

3. It wasn’t just the meeting with the father. According to CBS, “as early as August of 2009 the Central Intelligence Agency was picking up information on a person of interest dubbed ‘The Nigerian’ suspected of meeting with ‘terrorist elements’ in Yemen”. So there were other parts of the jigsaw that were not put together...

Terrorists Seek To Rule The World By Violence

Osama Bin Laden

Terrorist, Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, harbored Jihad fantasies, which he posted on a Muslim message board, prior to his attempt at bombing an NWA-Delta airlines plane on Christmas Day.

Anwar al Awlaki

In a disturbing post AbdulMutallab wrote, "I won’t go into too much details about my fantasy, but basically they are Jihad fantasies. I imagine how the great jihad will take place, how the Muslims will win (Allah willing) and rule the whole world, and establish the greatest empire once again."

Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab

His online comments reveal the mindset many terrorists are operating under, as they seek to rule the world with Islam, via the use of violence, under the terrible convert or be killed rule. They seek to conquer the world via bloodshed, obliterating all others that do not believe in Islam and its ways.

This refusal to peacefully dwell on Earth with others that do not share their views, poses a terrible threat to Western democracies and international peace as well. They view all other religions as the enemy that must be wiped out by violence.

'Lonely bomber' in his own words: What Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab wrote about his family, sex ... and his love of Liverpool FC

And there are chilling hints of the deadly role he was to play following his terror training in Yemen earlier this year.

He wrote: ‘I won’t go into too much details about my fantasy, but basically they are Jihad fantasies. I imagine how the great jihad will take place, how the Muslims will win (Allah willing) and rule the whole world, and establish the greatest empire once again.’

...‘I am of the view meat not slaughtered by Muslims … is haram [forbidden] for consumption unless necessary,’ he wrote. ‘My parents are of the view as foreigners, we are allowed to … eat any meat.

‘It occured [sic] to me I should not be eating with my parents as they use meat I consider haram. But I fear this might cause division and other complicated family problems.’...

NWA Flight Couple: There's An FBI Cover-Up

A married couple, Kurt and Lori Haskell, both lawyers, insist another suspect was arrested on the NWA-Delta flight that terrorist, Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, unsuccessfully tried to bomb on Christmas Day.

Kurt and Lori Haskell

The Haskells stated, a well dressed man of Indian descent, talked security into allowing, Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, to board the plane in Amsterdam with no passport.

Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab being arrested

However, they also insist there was another man on the flight filming everything as it happened, who the FBI later took into custody, as bomb sniffing dogs allegedly detected an illegal explosive substance on his person. The FBI has refused to confirm the couple's allegations. However, it wouldn't be the first time the FBI did something of this nature.

Bombshell Eyewitness Revelations: Confirmed FBI Cover-Up Of Flight 253 Attack

Detroit attorney Kurt Haskell dropped bombshell revelations concerning his eyewitness experience of the Flight 253 attack and how the FBI detained a second man after dogs detected a bomb in his luggage on The Alex Jones Show today. The FBI has not only ignored Haskell’s story, but they have launched a cover-up by refusing to even acknowledge the existence of another man who filmed the entire flight, including the aborted attack, as well as the well-dressed man who aided the bomber to board the plane even though he had no passport and was on a terror watch list.

Is Hollywood Giving Terrorists Ideas

"Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay" (The Judiciary Report does not recommend this film)

Is Hollywood giving terrorists ideas. Based on online synopsis and promotional information, the film "Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay" has a scene with a man faking illness on a plane headed to Amsterdam, going to the bathroom, then assembling a bong that resembles a bomb.

As he leaves the bathroom, he clumsily trips and the smoking bong he tried to ignite is mistaken for a bomb, which leads passengers to try and jump him. This is very similar to what transpired with the attempted Christmas 2009 bombing of an NWA-Delta plane landing in Detroit, Michigan.

PETN Bomb (DO NOT TRY THIS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, AS YOU COULD DIE):

According to the FBI's website, "Abdulmutallab went to the bathroom for approximately 20 minutes" most likely to assemble the bomb. A video demonstration on YouTube of how PETN bombs work, seemed to indicate it takes 30 minutes for the explosive mixture to set. Did the terrorist miscalculate the time causing the bomb to misfire.

The Hitman (The Judiciary Report does not recommend this film)

In the 2007 movie "The Hitman" a bomb is surgically inserted inside a man, he is sent into a room with a group of men, who are being targeted, then the explosive is detonated.

In June 2009, a 24-year-old terrorist attempted to kill Saudi Arabia's counter-terrorism minister, via a bomb inserted in his backside.

The Man That Tackled The Terrorist

Jasper Schuringa

Amsterdam native, Jasper Schuringa, a filmamker, is the brave man that jumped terrorist suspect, Umar Farouk AbdulMutallab, as he tried to blow up an NWA-Delta Airlines flight landing in Detroit, Michigan.

Schuringa sustained second and third degree burns in grabbing a malfunctioning explosive from AbdulMutallab, but has no regrets regarding his act of bravery, in outing the burning bomb and subduing the Jihadist. Well done. God bless you.

Side Bar: He should be given a financial reward for his bravery in subduing a terrorist.
