Michael Vick Plays A Superb Game Of Football

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback, Michael Vick, played some very impressive football last night against the Washington Redskins. The fast paced game was epic, with an impressive score of 59 to 28.

Vick's arm was like a rocket or guided missile. He threw touchdown after touchdown. Vick even ran with the ball like he was Usain Bolt. He's just a well rounded football player. It was like the Superbowl and Olympics all rolled into one. It's nice to see him back on his feet.

PETA Harassing Michael Vick Over Award

Michael Vick

American football player Michael Vick paid his debt to society, when he served time for animal cruelty and illegal gambling, yet PETA irrationally continues to harass him over past misdeeds. This week, PETA voiced its opposition to Vick winning an award for courage.

It’s very hypocritical that PETA is coming down on Vick, who deserves a second chance and has the right to rebuild his life, when they as an organization, have killed more dogs than he did. It was discovered recently, PETA put 100,000 dogs to death in a short space of time.

Michael Vick Given Courage Award, PETA Hates on Him... Again

By Quibian Salazar-Moreno on Dec 30th 2009 12:15PM - Although Michael Vick hasn't been playing as much as he wants for the Philadelphia Eagles, his teammates sure think highly of him. Last week the team voted and awarded Vick the Ed Block Courage Award, an annual award given by each NFL team in memory of the former Baltimore Colts trainer. The award is usually given to a player who has overcome a major injury or some other insurmountable difficulty to contribute to the team. Of course, PETA is pissed.

"The Philadelphia Eagles fumbled when they gave Michael Vick the Ed Block Courage Award, which was named after a man who advocated in behalf of abused children," PETA said in a statement. "Michael Vick should not be the person anyone points to as a model of sportsmanship, even though he has now exchanged dogs for touchdowns after serving time for extreme cruelty to animals. We wish him well in educating others, but this is not appropriate and does not mark a joyous moment in NFL history."

Regardless of PETA's opinions, Vick has not only been a positive presence in the locker room, but he's also continuing to talk to kids about the mistakes he's made and the proper way to treat animals. And Vick's happy that his team has taken notice of his hard work...

Anwar Awlaki: I'm Alive

Anwar al Awlaki

Terrorist imam, Anwar Awlaki, released a message claiming he is alive. If he's alive, the government needs to go catch him and find out what he knows. A lot of vital informant would be found out.

He should hope the F.B.I. catches him, because if it's the C.I.A. they are going to do to him what Michael Vick did to those dogs.

Anwar al Awlaki (right) last month

Awlaki is claiming he is not connected with Al Qaeda, yet his name keeps popping up in terrorist attacks, such as 9/11, Fort Hood and the attempted Christmas Day bombing of an NWA-Delta airline flight.

Why was he connected to the 9/11 bombers, the Fort Hood killer and the NWA Christmas Day bomber. You are the common thread that binds these people. If you are innocent, prove it - go in for questioning at the nearest F.B.I. field office.

'I'm Alive,' Says Yemen Radical Anwar Awlaki Despite U.S. Attack

Denies Ties to al Qaeda As U.S. Officials Probe His Ties to Christmas Day Bomb Attempt and Fort Hood Shooting

Dec. 31, 2009 - A week after U.S. and Yemeni officials said the radical Yemen cleric Anwar Awlaki may have been killed in a U.S.-backed Christmas eve air strike, a Yemeni journalist says Awlaki has surfaced to proclaim, "I'm alive."

"He said the house that was attacked was two or three kilometers away from him and he was not there," the journalist, Abdulelah Hider Shaea, told ABC News. He said he talked to Awlaki on the phone and recognized his voice from previous interviews...

The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday that Awlaki is "emerging as the central focus" of the attempted Christmas Day bombing of a Northwest flight over Detroit.

Awlaki denies he is part of al Qaeda and told the Yemeni journalist, in an interview published in the Washington Post, that while he considered Major Hasan "a hero" he did not pressure him to take any action...

The Real Foreclosed Housewives Of Atlanta

The Foreclosure Edition

Another star of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” has lost her home. Previously, NeNe Leakes was evicted from her rented home in the Sugarloaf Country Club in Duluth, Georgia, also home to Michael Vick and previously T-Boz of the girl group TLC.

Sheree Whitfield, was the next housewife from the show, forced out of her property, due to a foreclosure on her marital home, valued at the $3,000,000, because her husband stopped making the mortgage payments. The property was auctioned by the bank for $900,000.

Now, Lisa Wu Hartwell has lost her $3,000,000 home she shared with husband, football player, Edgerton Hartwell. The couple tried to have the mortgage modified with no success. They have since moved to a new property, after the bank evicted them for non-payment.

There is a lesson to be learned from all of this. The show advertises hedonism, avarice and excessive consumption as the way to live, when it's not. On the show, they worship money, which is destructive.

There is nothing wrong with working hard to support one’s family, but the love of money is the root of all evil, as the Bible says. There is a difference.

When backbiting and fighting over money and appearances of wealth, destroys families and friendships, how can that be a good thing.

Disclaimer: I know quite a few people in Atlanta and none of them behave like the people on the show.

'Real Housewife' Loses House, Still a Wife

Posted Aug 11th 2009 1:45AM by TMZ Staff - Lisa Wu-Hartwell needs a "Big Poppa" of her own ... the real housewife of Atlanta just lost her real big house in Atlanta.

TMZ has learned Hartwell and her husband, former Oakland Raiders linebacker Edgerton Hartwell, were booted from their multi-million dollar Georgia mansion last week -- after the bank foreclosed on the place and sold it shortly after.

Hartwell's rep tells us the couple was in talks with the lender to restructure the loan because the home had lost value -- but that failed. They originally bought the place for $2.9 mil back in 2007 -- but the bank only got $1.9 mil when they resold it this month.

The rep says "Ed and Lisa are fine. They have settled in their [new] home, that sits on 10 acres and they OWN it!"
