Angela Bassett And Lifetime's Whitney Houston TV Biopic Upset Bobbi Kristina Brown Before Her Overdose

For several months the Judiciary Report repeatedly wrote that the Lifetime network should not make their planned Whitney Houston biopic, which aired last month to negative reviews. The movie, directed by Angela Bassett, as her first time behind the camera, made Houston look bad. The film was awful. Many sensitive subjects were very poorly handled. There was nothing good about the movie and they did not tell Houston's story the right way.

It also had a profoundly negative effect on her daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, who was also against the poorly made film. I'm not even related to Houston and the film upset and depressed me. Therefore, I can't even imagine how Bobbi Kristina felt. This was a cruel thing to do to a young girl struggling with addiction. When addicts become upset, the depression trigger leads to them using more drugs.

As a mother, Angela Bassett, should have been more thoughtful with the biopic she made that depressed Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown

Bobbi Kristina became even more depressed when she saw the film, which couldn't have come at a worst time - weeks from the anniversary of her mother's death from a drug overdose, which led to drowning in a bathtub. Bobbi Kristina has met with the same, after drowning in a bathtub after a drug overdose and is now on life support.

Side Bar: Bobbi Kristina Brown's unofficially adopted brother turned boyfriend, Nick Gordon, was not happy he was left out of the Lifetime biopic on Whitney Houston's life. Though he was taken in by Houston at age 16, he sees himself as just as famous as Bobbi Kristina and very much Houston's child. At the end of the day, Gordon was not famous like Bobbi Kristina, as a celebrity child. Gordon certainly was not as famous as Houston.
