Megan Fox's Plastic Surgery

Megan Fox, before (left) and after (right) plastic surgery

Plastic surgery has done wonders for Megan Fox's career. She had been in the entertainment industry since age 15, but it wasn't until she got a nose job, collagen lip injections, dental work, molding her look completely on Angelina Jolie that her career took off.

I saw the above posted photos on another site and one can see the difference. Now if only there was a cosmetic procedure that would give her some acting ability.

For further career advancement, there is one more procedure Fox could do - get her jaw wired to stop her from issuing career crushing quotes.

John McClain Insulted Michael Jackson

In the now settled copyright infringement dispute between legendary singer/songwriter Paul Anka, composer of the tune "My Way" and the scurrilous, stinky, silly Sony, Michael Jackson's former label, one of the executor's of the late pop star's will, music producer, John McClain, made a regrettable statement regarding the song that was ripped off, titled "This Is It."

McClain enraged Jackson supporters yesterday, when he told Anka, "Now we know why the song was so good" implying Michael could not have written the pilfered tune on his own, as it is written in a classic pop format, reminiscent of "Human Nature" that was also penned by another songwriter and given to Jackson.

Who told McClain to say that! Jackson supporters wanted his head on a platter, almost as badly as the late singer's doctor, Conrad Murray, who gave into the singer's demands and ridiculously gave him anesthetic to sleep each night, which killed him at the age of 49.

Note to McClain: based on what I've read in feedback sections, you may want to think about getting a new identity...and take Murray with you (kidding).

Paul Anka -- Michael 'Stole' from Me

Posted Oct 12th 2009 8:13PM by TMZ Staff

It's the quickest resolution in Hollywood history -- Paul Anka says the special administrators of Michael Jackson's estate gave him a 50% cut of "This Is It" ... after he said Michael "stole" the original recordings from his studio back in the 80s.

Paul also said John McClain told him, "Now we know why the song was so good ... it wasn't the type of Michael Jackson song that he could write."

Anka said he was humbled by the compliment.

Obama Nobel Prize Fall Out Continues

"Video: Inside Story - Obama's Nobel Peace Prize"

The fallout for awarding U.S. President, Barack Obama, the Nobel Peace Prize, continues, as numerous pundits continue to discuss it on the news and talk shows.

Obama Administration Slams Fox News

President Barack Obama’s administration has slammed conservative television stalwart, Fox News, for its very negative coverage of his presidency.

The last nine months have been quite contentious, as the network and the White House spar over numerous issues.

Fox News has aired exposés, painting President Obama in a very unflattering light, even refusing to preempt regularly scheduled programming for his nationally televised speeches.

Fox News is well within their right to air their point of view and Obama, under the Constitution, is entitled to slam them for it.

Obama, Congress And The Gay Rights Bill

Congressional Hate Crime Bill And Don't Ask Don't Tell

U.S. President Barack Obama

Congress is moving to pass a hate crime bill that would protect gays in America. However, the contents of the gay rights bill is causing much controversy among the American public, as is Obama's statements on "Don't Ask Don't Tell" regarding gays serving in the military.

There is an aspect of the bill that covers hate crimes of violence against gays. Any rational, civil person should not want violence against any member or segment of society.

However, I am not for regulating the public’s speech towards any group, save for death threats and threats of violence. Many have stated, the bill shall indeed do just that, providing jail time for those that make comments or jokes about gays that are deemed offensive.

I find this aspect of the bill ironic and unconstitutional, as the law of the land guarantees free speech. Not to mention, many gays in Hollywood are very abusive and disdainful of straight people, especially Christians, characterizing us in the worst terms possible for their own amusement. This is an undeniable fact.

During a commercial, I saw a clip of the show "Queer Eye For The Straight Guy" and the bleach blonde, homosexual reality TV star stated with a look of total disdain and repulsion, the most offensive, crude, crass statement about a heterosexual male’s sofa being “caked" in vagina hair (and that's the clean version of what he said).

I found his statement vulgar and vile, yet because he is gay, in Hollywood, it was somehow deemed acceptable speech for basic cable television. Well, it wasn't, but the Constitution protects it. Which brings me to my point, once again, FREE SPEECH.

However, had a straight woman said the same thing about a gay man and his homosexual partner and their sofa, with the same look of complete disgust on her face as the aforementioned did, gays would have been screaming for her head and complaining in the press. It would have been labeled hate speech.

Then, there was the incident with gay designer Issac Mizrahi mockingly groping the breasts of actress Scarlett Johanssen at an awards show, aired during family viewing hours. If a straight woman had done that to a gay man, while mocking his manhood, homosexuals would have complained and labeled it a hate crime.

There’s a blatant double standard. Hollywood is particularly nasty, vile and vindictive towards Christians, as the Bible peacefully states, homosexuality is a sin that a person must repent of to gain God's forgiveness.

As a Christian, I have experienced this first hand, where mean, hateful homosexuals in Hollywood commissioned all sorts of sick, depraved conduct against me, when I hadn’t done anything to them. They attacked me for simply existing. That's the kind of hatred they are working under.

Unprovoked, they did the most evil, unconscionable, inhumane things, when I did nothing to them and do not know them from Adam.

How do you justify commissioning harassment, assault, burglaries, criminal invasion of privacy, stalking and outright grand theft larceny against an innocent person, while screaming to the world that you are victims of society as gays. It looks hypocritical and bad. Very, very bad.

Human rights is not a one way street. It’s a message many gays in Hollywood refuse to learn and they are the disgraceful, abusive spokespeople for the gay movement.

Because you are gay and deem yourself a victim that is discriminated against, does not give you the right to harass, antagonize, bully, rob and destroy other people. There is no justification for such inexcusable conduct.

Congress acts to extend hate crimes to cover gays

Oct 8, 5:33 PM (ET) WASHINGTON (AP) - The House voted Thursday to make it a federal crime to assault people because of their sexual orientation, significantly expanding the hate crimes law enacted in the days after Martin Luther King Jr.'s assassination in 1968.

With expected passage by the Senate, federal prosecutors will for the first time be able to intervene in cases of violence perpetrated against gays.

Civil rights groups and their Democratic allies have been trying for more than a decade to broaden the reach of hate crimes law. This time it appears they will succeed. The measure is attached to a must-pass $680 billion defense policy bill and President Barack Obama - unlike President George W. Bush - is a strong supporter. The House passed the defense bill 281-146, with 15 Democrats and 131 Republicans in opposition.

"It's a very exciting day for us here in the Capitol," said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., saying hate crimes legislation was on her agenda when she first entered Congress 22 years ago...

The late Sen. Edward Kennedy, D-Mass., was a longtime advocate of the legislation.

Many Republicans, normally stalwart supporters of defense bills, voted against it because of the addition of what they referred to as "thought crimes" legislation.

"This is radical social policy that is being put on the defense authorization bill, on the backs of our soldiers, because they probably can't pass it on its own," House Republican leader John Boehner of Ohio said.

GOP opponents were not assuaged by late changes in the bill to strengthen protections for religious speech and association - critics argued that pastors expressing beliefs about homosexuality could be prosecuted if their sermons were connected to later acts of violence against gays...

The defense bill is H.R. 2647.

Jamaican Government Gives Highjacker 20-Years In Prison

Steven Fray, 21, was sentenced to 83-years in prison, to run currently, amounting to 20-years incarceration in a Jamaican prison, for conducting the nation’s first ever plane hijacking.

Fray, stormed past security at one of Jamaica’s smaller, private airports and took a Canjet airplane hostage. Fray used a gun, which he discharged into the air, demanding the plane be flown to neighboring Cuba.

It was stated he was distraught over the end of a relationship with a woman in Florida. His lawyers tried to plead insanity, but the prosecutor and the judge would not hear of it. They have, however, decreed he is to receive psychiatric treatment in prison.

Side Bar: I know the Jamaican legal system well, as one of my relatives has worked extensively in it, on the side of the law, for many years and told me much about it growing up. Therefore, I don’t know why the hijacker thought the government would stand for something like this. He should have known better.

20-years in a Jamaican prison is not going to be a cakewalk, but his conduct was very egregious. I am not of the belief that people who do such things should roam around free in society, anywhere in the world. Clearly, based on what the government stated in articles, they are sending a message that such conduct will not be tolerated.

83 year sentence for Fray

Thursday, 08 October 2009 - Stephen Fray.Convicted would-be hijacker Stephen Fray was sentenced to a total of 83 years when he faced the Western Regional Gun Court in Montego Bay, St. James on Thursday.

He will however only serve a maximum of 20 years as the sentences are to run concurrently...

However after listening to the report plus an interview with the psychiatrist Dr. Wendell Abel for the second time, the judge sentenced Fray to 20 years on the three counts of shooting with intent and robbery with aggravation.

He was also given 18 years on the illegal possession of a firearm charge while the two counts of assault were discharged. He was also given one year each for the lesser charges.

Judge didn't consider his mental illness - defense attorney

Mr. Thomas believes that the judge did not take all the factors into consideration before handing down her sentence...

It was on April 19th that Fray eluded security personnel at the Sangster International Airport and attempted to hijack a CanJet flight with more than 200 passengers onboard, destined for Halifax, Canada.

He was disarmed by a flight attendant some eight hours later and a special armed forces team which stormed the plane.
