John Hinckley's Obsession With Actress Jodie Foster Had All The Warning Signs Of A Violent Stalker Before He Attempted To Assassinate Former President Ronald Reagan

John Hinckley Jr., tried to assassinate former U.S. President Ronald Reagan in 1981, injuring him and three others (former White House Press Secretary James Brady, Secret Service agent Tim McCarthy and police officer Thomas Delahantry). Hinckley, who was freed yesterday after 35-years in a mental hospital, is a severely mentally ill stalker, who became obsessed with actress, Jodie Foster. 

Hinckley saw Foster in the debauched 1976 movie "Taxi Driver" where at age 13 the former child star player a teenage prostitute, in what was a highly sexualized and inappropriate role. Hinckley, at age 24, began criminally stalking a then 17-year-old Foster. Hinckley stalked Foster when she enrolled at Yale University in New Haven, Connecticut. He moved from Texas to Connecticut and routinely stalked her around campus.

Hinckley stalked Foster to the point he found out where she lived on campus and her private, unlisted telephone number. Hinckley got so uncomfortably close to Foster via stalking, he was able to slip letters and notes under her dorm room door and repeatedly telephoned her room, in what was a violation of her privacy.

Due to the fact Foster understandably rejected Hinckley, as no one likes being stalked and hounded, he insanely decided the only way to get her attention was to kill the President of the United States, which he later insanely branded, "The greatest love offering in human history." Hinckley first sought to kill former President Jimmy Carter, but later settled on newly elected Reagan.

Right before Hinckley attempted to kill Reagan, he slipped a note under Foster's dorm room door stating, "Over the past seven months I've left you dozens of poems, letters and love messages in the faint hope that you could develop an interest in me. Although we talked on the phone a couple of times I never had the nerve to simply approach you and introduce myself...the reason I'm going ahead with this attempt now is because I cannot wait any longer to impress you. - John Hinckley Jr."

The warning signs were there that he was capable of acts of violence. Hinckley stalked former President Carter from state to state and was arrested on a weapons charge while doing so. Hinckley's family missed the warning signs, despite the fact they did him treatment for depression, that he had become dangerous. However, the diagnosis was incomplete and in some regard incorrect. He was having violent ideations that made him a danger. He bought weapons prior to the assassination in attempts at acting out violent ideas.

Hinckley came from a wealthy oil family in Texas. His family's wealth clearly made a difference in the case, as he should have been sent to prison and for life, over the attempted murder of Ronald Reagan, James Brady, Tim McCarthy and Thomas Delahantry. Now the public is placed in peril again, as he has been freed, while one of his victims, Brady, died two years ago due to injuries stemming from the shooting. 

When Hinckley was admitted to a mental hospital after the attempted assassination, a psychiatrist labeled him "unpredictably dangerous." For decades his obsession with Foster has continued, as items relating to her have repeatedly been found in his possession. Yet, he has been freed this week.

Stalkers usually do not stop their criminal behavior unless they are stopped under the law. Stalkers should not be taken lightly. It is a serious mental disorder and one that warrants long term psychiatric intervention and confinement to a mental facility, provided the individual did not commit attempted murder or murder, which deserves a prison sentence.

Criminally insane John Hinckley Jr., has been freed 35-years after the 1981 attempted murder of former U.S. President, Ronald Reagan, who had only been in office 69 days. Hinckley shot Reagan in the chest, after a bullet ricocheted off the presidential limo. Reagan suffered a punctured lung and internal bleeding.

A bullet struck White House Press Secretary, James Brady, on the right side of his head. Brady was left paralyzed on the left side of his body. Brady died in 2014, with the coroner listing homicide from the assassination attempt as the cause of death. During the assassination attempt, Hinckley also shot Secret Service agent Tim McCarthy in the stomach and police officer Thomas Delahantry in the neck as they tried to protect the president. Reagan recovered from the shooting and carried on with his duties as head of state.

Hinckley pled not guilty by reason of insanity and was sent to a mental hospital for three and a half decades. Brady was not charged with the death of Brady, though responsible for his early passing. The Judiciary Report is of the belief schizophrenic Hinckley should have spent the rest of his life in confinement. There is no known cure for schizophrenia and if he forgets to take his medicine, no longer being watched and ordered to by medical staff, something bad could happen again.

July 27 at 7:52 PM - Thirty-five years after he shot President Ronald Reagan and three others outside a D.C. hotel, John W. Hinckley Jr. will be released from a government psychiatric hospital, a federal judge ordered Wednesday. The ruling ends the institutionalization of the one of the nation’s most notorious mental health patients.

Outrage over Hinckley’s acquittal in the 1981 shooting reshaped the insanity defense in courts across the country. The revelation that he had pulled the trigger to impress a movie star added obsession and celebrity to the case. And extraordinary television footage of the attack on the 40th U.S. president brought the event to millions of American homes.

In Wednesday’s court order, U.S. District Judge Paul L. Friedman wrote that Hinckley, 61, no longer poses a danger to himself or others and will be freed to live full time with his mother in Williamsburg, Va. His release could come as early as Aug. 5 and is subject to dozens of conditions, some of which could be phased out after a year if Hinckley adheres to them.

Additionally, Al Qaeda rebels, funded by the Obama Administration, to the tune of $20,000,000, are now in a position of influence and control in the region, with access to untold oil wealth, after killing Gadhafi. Al Qaeda poses a much greater threat to the West than Gadhafi ever did.

Libya's head of state, Muammar Gadhafi, was brutally killed in his nation, after months of trying to evade an onslaught commissioned by U.S. President Barack Obama. Gadhafi spoke affectionately of Obama as a "son" and a "brother." He shook his hand at the 2009 G8 Summit in Italy. He was pleased Obama was elected President of the United States, referring to him as a fellow Muslim.

Little did he know, Obama would be the one to commission his brutal assassination, via military maneuvers, which spooled in members of the notorious terrorist group, Al Qaeda, to oust him from power, seize control of his nation and kill two of his children and grandchildren. One month later, on April 25, 2011, the nation of Libya accused NATO, which is the U.S. government, of trying to kill Gadhafi (Libya leaders accuse NATO of trying to assassinate Gadhafi). Six months later, Gadhafi was captured alive, then murdered. His last words were "Don't shoot."

This article is not in defense of Gadhafi, as the Judiciary Report does not agree with his politics, policies or the bloody conduct he is accused of that deprived others of their lives. What the site dislikes is murder and assassination. Once again, the government invaded another nation, killed its leader and is trying to steal their nation's wealth via oil (just like in Iraq). How can this be the way. It is completely illegal and inhumane. Not to mention, thievery. Is this what humanity stands for now, kill a man and take what he has. I was hoping the world was past that.

President Barack Obama is being slammed for supporting his Attorney General, Eric Holder, who is under fire for sanctioning a "gunwalking" program that put U.S. Department of Justice weapons in the hands of Mexican drug cartels, resulting in the deaths of hundreds of civilians and two American border patrol agents.

Emails reveal Holder knew of and underwrote the program with U.S. taxpayer money, but lied to members of Congress, the press and the public, regarding his involvement, what he knew and when. Holder cost ATF employees their jobs, for following his instructions, in what appears to be an FBI/DOJ set-up, in their ongoing, well-publicized rivalry that was slammed by Congress two years ago. In the face of all this misconduct and blood on Holder's hands, President Obama is unwisely championing his terrible behavior that cost innocent people on both sides of the fence their very lives. Critics from both sides of the political aisle have denounced what transpired.

Why Obama would embrace this scandal and Holder is a mystery (not really) and to do so is to taint his own name (definitely). Right is right and wrong is wrong - and Holder is wrong, as people are dead because of his awful, reckless decisions. All this man has done is cost Obama more votes than he can count, as he will soon see in the 2012 election, due to one scandal after another, Holder kick started via corruption. Holder is a disgrace and he owes the families of the deceased an apology. For Obama to back Holder is to spit on their graves and dishonor their memories.

Let's call it what it is, shall we, as you bombed the man's house. Anyone that bombs a person's house is trying to kill them. There is nothing peaceful about that."

Gadhafi, whose policies I do not agree with, has been quite deceived regarding Obama, who he calls son. Many credible political scholars and strategists around the world have stated, President Obama's invasion of Libya is about seizing their nation's oil, not about liberating its people. There are other countries with similar internal conflicts, who lack the oil Libya holds and the White House has not intervened in their nations.

The Judiciary Report strongly disagrees with any government invading another country and attempting to kill their head of state and or seize their national resources. This criminal misconduct is not befitting anyone that dares call themself a head of state, as it is murder and theft, which are dishonorable.

You continually condemn Assange for holding up a mirror in front of you, missing the entire point. You are breaking laws you swore to uphold. You are engaging in never-ending wars that are killing off more civilians than terrorists. You are wasting taxpayer money gossiping at the State Department. You are making it difficult for hardworking, honest, decent Americans to hold their heads up in the international community, with the caustic foolishness you are doing in the world on a government level. Furthermore, threatening to assassinate Assange over some documents is inhumane and un-American. The Pentagon cooking up a trumped up rape case against him was also dishonorable. It is not distracting people from what they have read in the cables. The government needs to stop taking the low road so often, because if they go any lower they shall graze hell.

Eye-opening footage posted online, reveals a stunning fact about the assassination of former U.S. President, John F. Kennedy. The Secret Service, deliberately moved away from him, leaving Kennedy wide open, right before he was shot to death. A senior Secret Service agent, ordered subordinates to back away from the President, as his vehicle proceeded down a Texas street.

The perplexed agent, who was closest to the president, kept shrugging in shock and hesitation at the bizarre order. Had he not moved, said agent would have been killed by the assassin's bullets, saving Kennedy's life. However, he followed orders and moved from in front of the president, giving the shooter a crystal clear shot. Kennedy was shot in the throat and again behind the right ear, execution style, which dislodged a portion of his brain, killing him.

It has given rise to many rumors the CIA conspired with others in the government to have Kennedy killed, as he sought to dismantle them after the Bay Of Pigs invasion went terribly wrong. It has also been said the FBI, under J. Edgar Hoover, knew of the assassination plot in advance and did nothing to stop it (much like they knew of the 9/11 plot and other terrorist attacks in advance and let them happen anyway).

There have been rumors of mafia involvement, due to Kennedy seeking to crack down on organized crime, but it would have been quite a terrible coup for them to have corrupted a senior Secret Service agent. Even Kennedy's alleged assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald, who was murdered days after the President's death, told the press, "I'm just a patsy." I don't doubt that. Something far more sinister was afoot.

President Barack Obama, in tandem with members of his administration, namely the Department of Justice, run by Attorney General, Eric Holder, continue to fall afoul of the public. The ACLU brought a credible lawsuit against the Obama Administration regarding "targeted killings" of Americans, without due process or any form of legal trial.

This, dear friends, is illegal under the U.S. Constitution, as it means any administration can have any American murdered, for any reason, without explanation or legal conviction. I ask you, the reader, is this the direction you want society to go in?

The ACLU, much like many in America, sought answers regarding this criminal, un-constitutional and un-American program, but are being shutdown in court, as the White House corruptly invoked "State Secrets" privilege, to cover up the crimes they are committing.

Such conduct has no place in any democracy and any government program or FOIA files that Obama and co. are fighting tooth and nail to hide from the public, clearly contain criminal conduct for which the U.S. Code and Constitution indicate they should be jailed.

To implement an unconstitutional program that allows you to, in essence, murder any American you feel like, whenever you desire, says you have lost your grip on reality and are unfit to be Preisdent, much like your predecessor, who criminally renditioned many people, in violation of U.S. and international law. The founding fathers of America would be ashamed.

The so-called power of the presidency, has gone to Obama's head and he is trying to play God. It is not in America's best interests, to establish an international image of summarily murdering people any president decides should no longer live. It is a terrible domestic and world image to possess.

It is also not in America's best interest that the FOIA files associated with this dreadful, barbaric assassination program be hidden from the public. In actuality, it is in the administration's best interests, to avoid all legal culpability and that no record be publicly disclosed, as it aids in facilitating arbitrary assassinations.

Furthermore, what happens when the program secretly expands to include the murder of political rivals, which is inevitable, with such abuses of invested power transpiring from the highest office in the land. No man should have such sweeping, unaccountable authority.

To condemn communist nations for conduct you are engaging in, Mr. President, is blatantly hypocritical. No one with any decency and intelligence, could take such hypocrisy, treachery and deceitfulness seriously. How are you any different from former President, George W. Bush, engaging in such unlawful conduct.

It is thoroughly illegal for anyone to assassinate you as president. Therefore, why do you think it appropriate that you be allowed to secretly assassinate anyone you feel like. Do you believe you are better than others and your life worth more than the average American. Do remember, all murder is wrong.

Side Bar: I can't believe I'm even writing about this. How did the government fall so low that secret assassinations of Americans became an option.

It was announced today, the ACLU has sued the Obama Administration, over the extrajudicial Assassination List they have created, in willful violation of U.S. and international law. The Judiciary Report wrote about the list last week (click here). The Administration's death list is barbaric, cowardly and has permanently damaged Obama's legacy.

The Obama Administration has become corrupt. There is no way around this fact. Certain individuals at the FBI, CIA and the Pentagon got their hooks into Obama and it has been one crooked decision after another, that has hurt, not helped America.

Obama is a grown man and knows right from wrong. Why he consents and goes along with this corrupt agenda, speaks to his lack of integrity and moral fiber. He is walking along the same disastrous path former President, George W. Bush, did and it is going to end in the collapse of the United States of America.

Any head of state that decides he and his cabinet and their affiliated agencies, are above the law, have sovereign immunity, regardless of how egregious their conduct becomes and can suspend the statutes of the nation, is headed for complete and utter failure, with a side order of self-destruction.

Last night I giggled a bit when I realized, remove one P and turn it into a C and it is the P-CACA bill, which is what some Americans think of it, judging by the national outcry. The bill needs work or it will break the U.S. economy in a way it has never been broken before.
