Los Angeles Clippers Owner Donald Sterling Slams Magic Johnson For Having HIV And States He's Done Nothing For Black People (Video)

 

Racist, Los Angeles Clippers basketball team owner, Donald Sterling, issued an apology for his racist rant, demanding his mistress, V Stiviano, not bring Magic Johnson and other black people to his games. The apology was long overdue and came when Sterling and his racist wife realized the NBA has the legal right to ban him from the league and force the sale of the Los Angeles Clippers, as it is a franchise, not an independent business. 

However, Sterling made things worse by going on a rant against former Los Angeles Lakers basketball player, Magic Johnson. Sterling stated, "'Big Magic Johnson what has he done? He's got AIDS. He acts so holy. He made love to every girl in every city in America, and he had AIDS, and when he had those AIDS, I went to my synagogue and I prayed for him, I hope he could live and be well. I didn't criticize him. I could have. Is he an example for children?"

Johnson contracted HIV from promiscuous sex in the 1980s and went public with the announcement regarding his health status in 1991. He decried the behavior that led to his HIV positive status. Johnson has also tried to educate the public on the ills of HIV and AIDS (unlike some singers, actors, models and sports stars advertising their sexually reckless behavior to impressionable fans). Johnson built businesses that have hired minorities as well as white people. 

Sterling shouldn't slam someone for having HIV or AIDS. There are many athletes and entertainers struggling with HIV and AIDS. Considering there are stories in the press regarding Sterling having kept a prostitute paying $500 per visit, as well as a mistress, V. Stivano (who was one of many he cheated on his wife with) he is in no position to cast aspersions.

Fame becomes heartbreaking when promiscuity leads to HIV. You'd be surprised to learn how many famous athletes, entertainers and models have HIV. Many more stars have virulent cases of other sexually transmitted diseases that are life altering and unpleasant, due to the promiscuity they engage in. That's the side you don't often see of fame. You see the money and celebrity lifestyle, but not what sexual promiscuity causes. 

Rather than condemn the sick, Hollywood and the sports industries need to stop telling the world condoms are a cure all, because they have a failure rate of 36% and doesn't protect from all sexually transmitted diseases. Set a better example for audiences rather than condemning the sick or on the other end of the spectrum, bragging about being sexually promiscuous, setting a bad example for impressionable people seeking to be just like you.

U.S. President Barack Obama has taken time out of his Asia tour to slam, Donald Sterling, the racist owner of the Los Angeles Clippers, for demanding his half black, half Latino girlfriend not bring black people to his games. Sterling took particular issue with Stiviano posting a normal photo on her Instagram page, taken with NBA legend and businessman, Magic Johnson.

The revelations came via an illegally recorded tape between Sterling and girlfriend Vanessa Stiviano, which was unlawfully obtained and aired by website/TV show TMZ. A civilian is not allowed to record telephone conversations in America unless one is being extorted, blackmailed or in fear for one’s life via threats.

Sterling’s conduct has caused outrage among millions, as his comments are racist and the NBA is a predominantly black sports league. 80 percent of the Clippers are black as well. The whole team has publicly protested Sterling's comments, by wearing their shirts inside out to conceal the  franchise's logo at their most recent game. 

President Obama stated regarding Sterling’s comments, “Ignorant folks want to advertise their ignorance you don't really have to do anything, you just have to let them talk. I have confidence the NBA commissioner, Adam Silver, a good man, will address this…” Sterling is free to dislike black people. However, when you start ordering people to discriminate against other races and in reference to a public sports team, that enters dangerous, illegal territory.

TMZ Sports illegally obtained and posted a tape of Los Angeles Clippers basketball team owner Donald Sterling, making racist remarks about black people during a telephone conversation. Sterling, who is married but separated from his wife, chastised his significantly younger half black, half Hispanic girlfriend, V. Stiviano, over the phone for having taken a picture with NBA legend Magic Johnson and posted the picture to her Instagram page.

He stated to her over the phone, "It bothers me that you want to broadcast that you're associating with black people. Do you have to...you can sleep with (black people). You can bring them in, you can do whatever you want. The little I ask you is not to promote it on that...and not to bring them to my games...I'm just saying, in your lousy f****** Instagrams, you don't have to have yourself with, walking with black people...don't put him (Magic Johnson) on an Instagram for the world to have to see so they have to call me. And don't bring him to my games."

It sounds like Stiviano is jealous of Magic Johnson being photographed with his girlfriend. Hence, Sterling's objection to Johnson being posted on Stiviano's Instagram page. As a general rule, when you're in a relationship or trying to get into one with someone, you should be careful of what you post on Instagram or Twitter, as it can come back to haunt you. A platonic picture with a person of the opposite sex is innocuous, provided the body language isn't saying there is something going on, because stuff like that leads to rumors and hurt feelings. However, Sterling is married, so he needs to stop harassing Stiviano who isn't, about who she takes pictures with.  

Throughout the conversation, light skinned Stiviano keeps reminding Sterling that she is black and Hispanic and can't change her skin/race to become white. Looking at her you can immediately tell she is a mixed woman with black and Hispanic blood in her. She looks like she is part Asian as well. I applaud her for acknowledging that she is a minority, rather than trying to get over, as the phrase goes. There are still some mixed people ashamed of their minority heritage and are trying to pass for white, when they never will be.

There is nothing wrong with interracial dating or interracial marriage. However, relationships should be based in love and sincerity. Race should never be an issue, as true love knows no color.

Sterling is married, old enough to be Stiviano's grandfather and is a racist. They are not compatible. The age difference is one thing (which could be overcome) but being married and a racist is not something that is workable. Stiviano needs to find a single man of any race, who is not married and or a racist. Sterling needs to go home to his wife, who is said to be "appalled" at his remarks.

Sterling's comments are breathtakingly bad, especially in this day and age. People on Twitter have called for a boycott of the LA Clippers, but it will hurt minorities on the team. The NBA has also provided many opportunities for minorities and they could be hurt by a boycott of the LA Clippers as well. The best course of action would be the NBA issuing Donald Sterling a record, whopping fine. It would also be great if he sold the team and got out of the NBA, as he has a history of taking adverse action against black people within the Clippers as well as separately as a real estate developer, who was sued for racial discrimination in the housing sector.

New York Post columnist, Phil Mushnick, at racist Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, slammed rapper Jay-Z in terms being referred to as racist. Yes, racism still exists, but in this particular case, if Jay-Z didn't carry himself like such a blackface wearing buffoon, the article could not have taken shape.

Mushnick wrote of Jay-Z small ownership in the NBA team the Brooklyn Nets, "As long as the Nets are allowing Jay-Z to call their marketing shots — what a shock that he chose black and white as the new team colors to stress, as the Nets explained, their new “urban” home — why not have him apply the full Jay-Z treatment? Why the Brooklyn Nets when they can be the New York N------s? The cheerleaders could be the Brooklyn B----hes or Hoes. Team logo? A 9 mm with hollow-tip shell casings strewn beneath. Wanna be Jay-Z hip? Then go all the way!... "

When you have successful black businessmen like Bob Johnson, Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson, making massive deals worth hundreds of millions of dollars, while carrying themselves with dignity, no one can cast aspersions on their business acumen. However, when you have an ignoramus like Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, in the next corner, acting foolish, stealing from everybody including business partners that did all the work (see lawsuits) and speaking like a tool, criticism is bound to occur.

Many do not respect or view Jay-Z as a businessman (I certainly do not, as I have seen his rampant thievery in action). He's bragged of being a drug dealer, engaged in acts of violence against members of the public (before and after becoming famous), used illegal payola to get his profane music on the radio, then proceeded to rattle off the most foul, demonic, ungodly, sexist, misogynistic poison by a black rapper.

For example, Jay-Z, has released such sick songs as "Lucifer" which is another name for Satan and "Pu*sy" which is another name for, well, you know. He is also a woman beater (but he's going to try that mess with the wrong woman one day and end up in the hospital). Putting such such negative music and images out there and behaving like a cretin is not respectable.

The Judiciary Report does not believe Jay-Z is fit for the 1% ownership he currently holds in the Brooklyn Nets. However, with the way he is arrogantly acting, you'd think he owned 100% of the team.
