Madonna's Billboard Awards Tribute To Prince Slammed As Terrible As She Tries To Leech Off Public Sympathy In The Wake Of His Death

Greedy, crazy, attention seeking pop singer, Madonna, did a tribute to the late singer, Prince, at yesterday's Billboard Music Awards that is being widely panned by critics and social networking as "pitchy" and "terrible" and "karaoke." Madonna can't sing. Therefore, attempting to sing a somewhat vocally challenging song like "Nothing Compares 2 U" was foolish and embarrassing.

The whole thing is ironic, as the music industry knows Prince did not like Madonna, due to her nasty conduct towards him at different times in his life. However, selfishly attempting to tap into public sympathy in the wake of his death, Madonna contacted Billboard and demanded to do the tribute, when Sinead O'Connor (among others) was a better choice.

Immediately a petition was launched online that has 10,000 signatures, demanding Madonna not be allowed to do the tribute. However, Billboard went ahead with it anyway and "is paying the piper" as Madonna's pathetic vocals are being slammed all over the internet. Madonna is not a singer, as she can't sing. She is a pop star (who is washed up as well). What made them think tone deaf, non-singing Madonna could sing "Nothing Compares 2 U" with all its vocal changes. Madonna barely has one octave.

 Piers Morgan had the most scathing comments regarding Madonna's poor performance, "I do think a tribute to Prince, a poor karaoke version of Sinead O'Connor was inappropriate." People on Twitter remarked that Madonna ruined the Prince tribute with her terrible vocals and should not have been chosen to do the tribute. Delusional Madonna slammed people for disliking her performance branding them haters, but she is a fool. It means the public does not want to see her. She missed the point altogether. The public is telling her to go away.

When one viewer noted that Piers, 50, would slam Madge's performance regardless, the former Britain's Got Talent replied: "I do think a tribute to Prince, a poor karaoke version of Sinead O'Connor was inappropriate." But he wasn't the only one left unimpressed by last night's spectacle. Several viewers venting their views on Twitter agreed with the presenter, with one posting: "Madonna performing a Prince tribute is offensive on so many levels."

Organisers of the ceremony defended Madonna's tribute after an online petition called for more musicians to be included. The protest, which was signed by more than 8,000 people on Change.org, claimed Prince was "more than worthy of a better choice as a main performer". 

However, Piers had nicer things to say about Stevie Wonder, who joined Madonna for a duet of Purple Rain, and Celine Dion, whose performance he hailed as "incredibly moving" following the death of her husband and brother in the space of a few days earlier this year. This isn't the first time Piers has made a sworn enemy out of Madonna. He recently called the popstar "an old fraud" and previously warned Kylie Minogue not to go near her with a "barge pole". Good Morning Britain airs weekdays at 6am on ITV1.

Even though the icons collaborated on Love Song in 1989, and even briefly dated, Madonna was met with criticism online when Billboard announced she would be the one to pay homage to The Purple One. Some felt she should not do the tribute alone, and others said a black artist should be involved and 8,000 people signed a petition calling for more musicians to be included and claiming that Prince was "more than worthy of a better choice as a main performer."

Former actress and current Fox News contributor, Stacey Dash, has infuriated social networking by calling for the end of Black History Month, the BET Network (Black Entertainment Television), The BET Awards and the NAACP Image Awards.

Dash is being slammed for stating, "I think it's ludicrous. We have to make up own minds. Either we want to have segregation or integration, and if we don't want segregation, then we have to get rid of channels like BET and the BET Awards and the Image Awards, where you're only awarded if you're black. If it were the other way around, we'd be up in arms. It's a double standard. There shouldn't be a Black History Month. We're Americans, period."

Dash's statements are wholly inaccurate. BET does give awards to white people as well. White, gay British soul singer, Sam Smith, took one of the top awards at the 2015 BET Awards Show. The Image Awards gives awards to blacks, Hispanics and Asians to recognize minorities and has also publicly celebrated white men and women who have helped people of color in the world. These awards were created due to America's terrible problems with institutionalized racism that reached a fevered pitch during the civil rights movement.

I grew up watching BET and MTV (the latter was largely white at the time). I find Dash's statements ridiculous. I also grew up watching Telemundo, Galavision and Univision which celebrate Hispanic culture. In Britain, there is the Africa channel, as well as Indian networks, celebrating each respective culture, that I've also began watching in recent years. As a black woman, I don't take offense at other people respectfully celebrating their races, cultures and ancestry.

I appreciate my cultures and that of others. Dash is missing the point of the aforementioned channels altogether and if she can't appreciate that, then the problem is with her. If someone wants to celebrate being black (African), Hispanic (Spain, Cuba, Puerto Rico), Portuguese (Portugal, Brazil), Chinese, Russian, Germany, Japanese, English, Scottish or Irish (Celtic) how is that a problem for you, Ms. Dash. 

Dash is a black woman of mixed ancestry that repeatedly shows she resents being black. Dash repeatedly attacks all things black and it is disgraceful. You're black. Everyone can see that. Get over it. There's nothing wrong with being black or any other color. God created us all. 

Side Bar: This is the same Stacey Dash who starred in music videos on BET by black artists Kanye West and Carl Thomas. Dash was a "video girl" in hip hop music videos on BET, a term black Americans facetiously refer to as a "video hoe." However, with her new, lofty, haughty reinvention on Fox News as a deluded black bigot, Dash is trying to play that down. Girl, I remember your video hoeing. Yea, I said it.

The Washington Post published an interesting piece on the U.S. Congress hiding the true state of the economy in America and the Judiciary Report agrees with their assessment. For years the Judiciary Report has stated the government is hiding from the American people and the world how bad the economy has become since the 2008 financial crisis (U.S. Foreclosures Spike Again Indicating Trouble In The Financial Sector).  It's a deck of cards. Government reports have been altered and facts omitted to present a rosy picture, only for them to resurface later painting a grim picture of unemployment, real estate and exports - three important components of a healthy, stable economy.

From the beginning, the Judiciary Report emphasized austerity. It has been the consistent message of this website for years regarding the economy. Historically, austerity is the only thing proven to work during a financial crisis. Other nations have employed austerity over the past several years, since the global economic crisis began in America and spread to other nations. Those nations are doing much better financially for it and have past the worst. However, the Obama Administration chose wild, unruly spending and it has put America much further into debt and not created sustainable, lasting job growth.

The national debt is at an all time high and manufacturing is at the lowest levels it has been in decades. A nation cannot produce less goods and spend more money via the government and expect it will all balance out. It just doesn't work that way. It has not and further will not add up. It is an economic recipe for disaster.

The Obama Administration has also exhibited a negative attitude towards some American companies, saying very unflattering, undeserved things that did not help the situation. For example, Obama insulted Apple as a company making another gadget that people do not need, when it is a company with great products many people appreciate. When you buy a good piece of electronics (laptop, tablet ect) it can increase your productivity at work and after you get off the job, bring many hours of entertainment and education at home.

The Obama Administration has squashed trade deals and massive business projects, such as the Keystone Pipeline, costing America billions of dollars in revenues. How is impeding trade, which creates jobs, a good thing. America was at its most prosperous when the nation created and exported products at a greater rate and signed large business and trade deals.

The Obama Administration also has uneducated, unqualified celebrities serving as advisors, which is unwise
and dangerous. Why take advice from fools. The president and his wife are highly educated lawyers, who are ivy league graduates, but are taking professional advice from idiots in Hollywood whose claim to fame is showing their private bits on screen and making foul music, much of which contains copyright infringement.

These days it doesn't take talent or intelligence to become famous, just a willingness to be a degenerate.
Therefore, why is he listening to them. Good fruit will not come from a rotten tree. You think about that.
Wouldn't it make sense to take advice from people with a proven track record for financial success such as Warren Buffett (Berkshire Hathaway), Bill Gates (Microsoft), Michael Dell (Dell), Larry Ellison (Oracle), Bob Johnson (BET) and Linda Johnson-Rice (Johnson Publishing Company).

Congress is trying to make it harder to know how the economy is doing

Confusion about today’s labor market, anxiety about the future of jobs, a rapidly evolving economy and so many other reasons make now exactly the wrong time to diminish the government’s ability to collect and construct labor market data. But that is exactly what is happening, and may continue to happen.
Jonathan Schwabish at the Urban Institute catalogues the damage: In 2013, the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), the principal agency charged with producing information on the labor market, received $41 million less from Congress than the president requested. Statistics on mass layoffs — an important source of information about the behavior of businesses facing sharp reductions in demand — were eliminated.

In 2014, facing a gap of nearly $22 million, BLS pulled back on the Quarterly Census of Employment and Wages, a vital pillar supporting our ability to know detailed information on how many jobs and businesses the economy is supporting and how much workers are earning. The same year, BLS continued to produce information on import and export prices — from which we know how the United States is performing in international markets — by the skin of its teeth.

For fiscal 2016, which begins in October, the Senate wants to cut BLS’s budget. In a letter sent last month to the chairman of the Senate Appropriates Committee, the director of the Office of Management and Budget laid out the consequences: “Under the bill BLS would have difficulty continuing to operate its core programs and would need to permanently eliminate surveys as a result.”

“Permanently eliminate surveys.” That’s a big step in the wrong direction. Instead of cutting funding and cutting surveys, Congress should appropriate funds sufficient for BLS to expand its existing operations.
Why? The Federal Reserve needs high-quality information on prices, jobs and wages to set interest rates, which affect the decisions of businesses and households throughout the economy. (For example, I bought a house not too long ago, in part because interest rates were so low.) The Fed has to make economy-influencing decisions regardless of the quality of the labor market information it receives, so let’s err on the side of high-quality statistics.

Are we becoming a nation of freelancers, living in a new “gig economy?” Data on the share of workers who are self-employed and who hold multiple jobs suggests no, but those of us in major cities see Uber-type businesses springing up all around us. We need better information on all the ways workers earn a buck. Such information would help policymakers decide whether it’s really necessary to create new safety net structures that don’t run through employers for health care, retirement and unemployment. And if you’re deciding whether to turn your car into a cab for the weekend, being able to log on to BLS.gov and see why, when, where and how others have done that — and how much money they made doing it — would be very helpful...

BET network (Black Entertainment Television) put on a big awards show yesterday to honor the top talent in black music. To show black people are good sports, the award for best new artist went to white British singer, Sam Smith, who had a big year due to his hit song "Stay With Me." The man of the night was R&B singer Chris Brown, who won two awards and was featured on so many artists' songs this year, he ended up on stage performing throughout the night. It was the Chris Brown Awards show.

Gospel sensation Donnie McClurkin also turned in a rousing performance at the show that is watched by millions around the world. Being the smart aleck I am, one of the top highlights of the night for me was seeing rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs fall into a hole on the stage during his performance. The way he just falls out of view is hysterical. Music and comedy all in one night (LOL).

Side Bar: why was Rihanna sitting in the audience fiddling with duct tape. Rapper and reality star Nelly was recently arrested on gun and drug charges in Tennessee. Police know tour buses often carry drug paraphernalia and drugs and as a result often stop musicians traveling from town to town. Nelly, real name Cornell Haynes, has denied the drugs and guns found during the surprise search belong to him.

Nelly released a statement revealing he will be careful in future regarding the people he associates with who brought the illegal items onto his tour bus. Nelly stated, "I feel the need to take responsibility for my choices in needing to be more aware of all the people I associate with and allow onto my property. While my instinct of course, is to be accessible to my friends, fans and acquaintances, the last thing I would want to do is compromise the respect and admiration of my friends, family and fans."

In the meantime, no news has been released by television network B.E.T. regarding what impact Nelly's arrest will have on his hit reality show "Nellyville." However, the arrest would certainly bring in increased ratings for season two, as the case works its way through the court system.

The BET network's website is reporting singer Chris Brown has been trolling his ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, on the Instagram social networking website. Brown is angry at being dumped by Tran, for fathering a secret baby with a woman in their circle, Nia Amey. It resulted in Tran publicly  dumping him on the website Twitter, which he found embarrassing.

Brown stated to Tran on Instagram, “Continue to be a lady beautiful…U are perfect… Don’t let the Thot form form anger.”  She did not respond, but he is under the impression she is posting bikini photos of herself to find another man, not realizing famous men have been contacting her from the day she dumped him. Just like famous industry women have been trying to date you, famous industry men have been trying to date her.

Nelly is protective of his virginal daughter and niece, but have been encouraging them to pursue higher education, as he did. However, that did not stop Nelly from flunking the written portion of his driving test, right along with his niece, who has done so 11 times (LOL). Girl, get that license in the new year.

One photo had the young girl posing with her legs open, while wearing tiny shorts and thigh high boots. It was unnecessary. Nelly raised a shy, sweet girl. Shantel is trying to turn her into a sex kitten, which is clearly all she knows as a woman.

Rapper Ray J is backtracking on comments he made regarding on and off again girlfriend, Princess Love, the ex-concubine of boxer, Floyd Mayweather. Yesterday, Ray J told TMZ Princess was suicidal over their break up, sparked by a photo of him with his arm around Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, at a BET network television taping. Ray J was smirking in the photo, but Tran simply smiled in a normal manner. Now Ray J is saying Princess would not have gone through with the threat and it was a poor choice of words on her part. It certainly wasn't amusing for the public to read.

TMZ posted the claim Ray J called police to report Princess was suicidal. Police did a welfare check, but could not find her at the address provided. In light of the fact Ray J stated he called police, there should be a 911 record of the call. TMZ is famous for obtaining 911 recordings and uploading them to their website. This is in order in this matter, as some are calling this incident a publicity stunt.

The website TMZ posted two photos of reality star/rapper Ray J and Chris Brown's ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran at a studio filming an item for the BET network. The two hung out until  4AM, well after the shoot was over. Ray J is smirking in the photo, with his arm around Tran, who is smiling. Ray J's girlfriend, Princess Love, the ex-concubine of boxer, Floyd Mayweather, saw the photo of Ray J and Tran and began threatening to commit suicide via shooting herself, which is hasty and inadvisable.

The problem is Princess Love knows the type of man she is dating. Ray J is unfaithful and will cheat if he gets the chance or dump her for someone else he deems an upgrade. When Princess Love confronted Ray J about the smirking photo, they had an argument and broke up. TMZ states she then began threatening to commit suicide.

No relationship should consume you to the point that in your mind suicide becomes an option. No one is worth that. Any relationship that has you that suspicious of the person you are dating always cheating or preparing to leave you, is not a healthy one. To everyone out there, though it may not feel like it at first, you can get over anyone.

As the Judiciary Report has stated in the past, be careful regarding taking pictures with people, especially the pose in the photo, if you want to avoid a scandal. Body language will say a lot and sometimes it is also misconstrued by the press and public. People will automatically think you are having sex with someone you're not even with.

Ray J Ex-GF Threatened Suicide Because Karrueche Is in the Picture

12/11/2014 12:40 AM PST - Ray J's ex-girlfriend who threatened suicide Wednesday was pushed over the edge after she found out Ray was nuzzling up to the modern day Helen of Troy ... Karrueche Tran. Cops were called after Princess Love called Ray and threatened to shoot herself. A short time later she called him back and said she would not go through with it. 

As we reported ... Ray broke up with Princess Love Tuesday night after a big fight. Now we know where he went afterward. Ray went to a studio to shoot a New Year's Eve special for BET. Karrueche was also on the show and Ray hung out with her until 4 AM. We got a couple of pics which show they were definitely getting along. Unclear if there's a relationship, but it's definitely a good start...
