50 Cent Is About To Be 5 Cent As Bank Account Frozen After Electronic Company Wins $17 Million Against Him In Court

50 Cent

Rapper 50 Cent has been hit with a $17,200,000 court judgment, in favor of Sleek Audio. The company approached 50 Cent to front a line of headphones. 50 Cent stole their design, which is copyright and trademark infringement, then tried to get a deal with another company using the stolen intellectual property.

Sleek Audio sued and won a court judgment of $17,200,000 and 50 Cent refused to pay. Sleek Audio's lawyers moved to the next step - they garnished his bank account, freezing the funds they found. 50 Cent states he plans to appeal the court's decision. In the meantime, some of his funds are tied up in the garnished bank account and if the judgment is upheld the money will be permanently gone.
